This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business and the Becker Private Equity podcast. These are 10 of the stories that we're following today and thank you for listening. First, stocks are down today after a substantial rally over the last month. It's been a great month, but struggling right now. Second, President Trump and the Democrats indicate a willingness to discuss health care and try and end the government shutdown. We'll see how that goes. I don't know if I'm confident yet, but at least some signaling going in the right direction. Third peloton drops more than 10 and a half percent today and is now down about 14% year to date. Again, I don't know who uses the pelotons anymore, but I know some people do. Fourth, Starbucks dropped another 5% yesterday and is down 10% year to date. Brian Nicole still having a hard time getting Starbucks turned around. We'll see how that how that goes. 5th Lucid Motors really struggling, not down nearly 10% today. We've got a couple of car companies we'll talk about very quickly here. 6th Tesla announces that they're going to release a model budget Model Y lower priced model. The Stock is up 10% year to date. They've had quite the rebound this year. Seventh, Ford falls 6% on a serious supply interruption. One of their plants of one of their suppliers had a big fire. It's one of the ways they produce an aluminum part that they use for Ford F150, which is one of Ford's most important trucks. So that's caused Ford to take another chin today.
