This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business podcast, the Becker Private Equity Podcast. These are really just five quick notes. So the first thing is my favorite tweet I saw this morning was from someone named Sam and essentially said there is no bigger test of patience than typing your. He used the word fucking email address on a TV with remote. So I just thought that was quite fun because I think it's quite true. And that ability to do that, if you screw up on the password, you screw up on the, on the Internet. Either way it's, it's a ridiculous test of patience. I thought that was great. The second notice and I did a separate podcast in this. I said something yesterday on Twitter about H1B visas not really being that big a problem. And again I could see where on college campuses people think it's a problem and that legal immigration is not a problem and then said that. But I am, you know, concerned about illegal immigration and certainly lambast the concept of our borders open for the last four years or so. And this statement that I thought was somewhat centrist, not that much against H1B visas and so forth and also fine with legal immigration led to the outpouring of rage from the right. Somebody in fact went as far as to call me a Democrat, which I thought was fascinating. But anyways, the politics today of immigration and what you say in Kansas are simply incredible. The third story we're following is that Dodgers Blue Jays series, sort of against all odds, has become a great series to watch. The Dodgers are down two games at three, meaning the Blue Jays are up three to two. Blues have a 250 million dollar payroll a year. The Dodgers are somewhere about right just below 400 million payroll. So it's hard to cheer for the Dodgers, but really fascinating to watch what is going on there. So those are three of the stories. I'll do a couple of the quick shout outs, a shout out to Rick Wise, to the the David Abramson who is honored in the ICRF for the fundraising for cancer research. Simply remarkable work by a whole host of people. You know, David who had passed away was the chair and president of the organization for a long time. Rick Wise is now serving as the president of it. Two wonderful, wonderful people and just a sad, sad story, but congrats on a great fundraising evening yesterday. Finally fifth, a special shout out to the world class leadership of really Elliot Moscow, Tim Donahue and Jeremy Edelston. All as good of people as they come and as principled as they come. God bless you all. Thank you for listening to the Becker business and the Becker Private Equity Podcast. We hope you find something in here that you enjoy and find interesting. Thank you very much for listening.
