This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business, the Becker Private Equity Podcast Today's discussions the five largest US companies buy revenue. So here's the five Amazon, Walmart, Apple, UnitedHealth Group and Alphabet. So not great surprises here but I do think is fascinating is what's going on with some of these companies. Walmart was outperforming for so long this year it's only up 8%. Amazon's up 15%. UnitedHealthcare People should remember is so huge, so many dollars flow through one way or another. UnitedHealthcare so it remains one of the largest companies in the country. It's fourth as of currently. CVS Aetna which is not on this list is sixth sort of the big growth company here is probably Alphabet. Google which is now second in market cap to Nvidia just again cranking away, growing like crazy. I think it's market caps up to about 4.7 billion. 4.7 trillion, excuse me behind Nvidia, 5.22 trillion or so. But, but I think what's fascinating is you know, it's grown into not just one of the biggest market cap companies, but one of the biggest revenue companies as well. I mean what what a lot of these companies have in common. Apple's a great example of so much E commerce one way or another flows through these companies and they're not always making a lot of money in every single transaction, but they're making a lot of little money on seemingly everything. And it's really an incredible thing to watch. But again the top five companies by revenue, Amazon, Walmart, Apple, UnitedHealthcare and Alphabet. But thank you for listening to the Becker Business the Becker Private Equity Podcast
