This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business Podcast, Becker Private Equity Podcast. And today's discussion is empathy matters. And why do I say that? Because empathy does matter. Caring about other people matters. Whatever you do, whatever business you're in, whether you're running a family, you're running a business, you're running a government, caring about other people, it matters. It's the right thing to do. One of my colleagues, who will remain nameless, who has lost me all year in golf, you know, recently beat me, and he had this whole concept of, oh, I beat you today. I beat you two in one. I'm so much better than you. I'm, I'm this, I'm that. I mean, it was really a long and uncomfortable, a few minutes after the round having to listen to the taunting, and all I could tell him is, this is this. And it comes back to this concept, this, that in this world, in whatever you do, empathy matters. And so today, the result really is that he won. Because I'm empathetic. I, I, I, I've been running through him like the Michael Jordan Bulls used to run through championships and just win, win, win, win, win. It's like many people think about President Trump. Is he tired of winning? What? Well, I am tired of winning. I'm sick of winning. And so today's message, the message for my colleague, his name is also Scott, is that empathy matters. And I'm happy to see you win. And I was excited for the victory because I care. In any event, thank you very much for listening to the Becker Business Podcast, the Becker Private Equity podcast. We'll be back with you later with more hardcore business episodes, we promise. Thank you very much for listening.

"Empathy does matter. Caring about other people matters. Whatever you do, whatever business you're in, whether you're running a family, you're running a business, you're running a government, caring about other people, it matters. It's the right thing to do."
— Scott Becker [00:30]

By prioritizing understanding and caring for employees, clients, and stakeholders, leaders can foster a more collaborative and motivated environment.
