This is Scott Becker with the Becker Business podcast and the Becker Private Equity podcast. Today's discussion is Hims and Hers, Palantir and Bitcoin. I have fomo. Fomo of course, is the commonly used phrase, I think by the younger generation that means fear of missing out. Now in terms of these three plays, Palantir or an investor in or partly because we were an investor in it some time ago and huge fans of Peter Thiel and what he does. So we've been in Palantir. Yes, I've got some fear that I missed out early on it, but not that much. So God bless that they're up 96% year to date after a great year last year. Second stock that we have some FOMO about is Hims and Hers. Hims and hers, compounding drugs, telemedicine, etc. Etc. I, I'm always, you know, they're always playing and working in different areas, but again, tremendous success, up again, 112% year to date. And, and, and the third thing that we have FOMO about is Bitcoin. Bitcoin again is up to about 120,000 now. I bought it at some price. I bought a Bitcoin ETF a year or two ago after having conversation with the law school colleague Anthony Scaramucci. But okay, I got it, I'll buy into. Then crashed. My investment went from 100,000 to about 25 or 30,000. I sold it and took the tax loss. Little did I know that that would rebound like crazy insanely and be one of the best performing assets of the last year. It's now back up to 120,000. I don't know exactly what my would have been worth now, but a lot more than 100,000. I took the tax loss. It is what it is. But my FOMO today really relates more to Hims and hers and to Bitcoin. Palantir I did fine with, so God bless that. But I sure missed out on these other two. There were other things I have the joy of missing out on, but it's not these. Thank you for listening to the Becker Business Podcast, the Becker Private Equity podcast. Thank you very, very much.
