With the discussions on X bringing light to this awful subject, we spent today discussing it from Jack's perspective. He was a first-hand witness - and became radicalized - because of it. It is a heavy episode with some dark topics, but it is worth understanding the real-world pain that the ignoring by government has created.

The world is shifting faster than we imagine. AI is here to stay and we will have to choose how we deal with it. Jack and I discuss the challenges ahead as well as the lack of human emphasis on its design.

In this week's episode, we discuss the future of independent journalism with Anna Matson. Anna was an incredible voice during the RFK Jr. campaign and has used her talents to carve out truthful discussions about the narratives and falsehoods that are often presented in the mainstream media.

Jack and I are back with a new format and video too. We are excited to bring you weekly conversations about politics, culture, history and a multitude of other things. In this episode we discuss our new Substack and how to join in with us on the journey of independent journalism and analysis. We hope you will find Besides The Revolution, a great place to get long form analysis on the news and cultural events. Come over and subscribe today! https://besidestherevolution.substack.com

Jack and I are back with a special, pre-election day conversation about what is coming down the road on Tuesday. We give our predictions as well as a recap of all that happened throughout the Kennedy campaign.

This was intended originally to be an interview for a special video project, but as the conversation went on, we felt it was important to let the entire conversation play out somewhere for people to hear. Mike is an amazing patriot who has served his country in one of the most difficult times in our history. The number of deployments he took during our efforts in the Middle East is stunning and were the same in 15 years as they were for his family members who served in Korea, Vietnam and other places in 33 years of service. He and countless others of his peers are American stories that aren't being told but need attention. Thankful to have had this moment with Mike.

Jack and I discuss the wildest week to date in the 2024 Election. Between the assassination attempt on the life of President Trump, to the RNC convention and rumors of Joe Biden stepping down, we talk about the ever changing landscape and the emotions that come with such a historic event. It seems ever more apparent that RFK jr. is a necessary voice in a very vitriolic time.

Jack and I are back talking about the debate from last week, the continuing panic within the Democratic Party over Joe Biden's mental state and his clear cognitive decline. We talk about RFK jr.'s The Real Debate format that he was able to get a lot of traction with despite being excluded from the CNN stage. We also talk about ballot access and the Libertarian Party's decision in Colorado to give ballot access to Kennedy as their choice for nominee. Another wide ranging conversation about the current state of affairs in the Kennedy campaign.

This one has a wide range of conversation going on. It was good to be back with Jack discussing all the things about tonight and the exclusion of Robert Kennedy Jr. from the "debate" or stage show with Biden and Trump. We discuss the first amendment case that the Rock Ribbed Conservative court fumbled all over themselves to torture the words to dismiss by standing - a classic John Roberts move. We talk British politics, Sunak, Truss, and the dissolving of the Conservative Party. Another good one and something you can pre-game before the debate.

Jack and I are back talking about Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s discussion on the Tim Pool podcast about reparations and black farmers. We discuss how radicalism is engendered by unequal application of the law and how Kennedy is the very best candidate to address this because of his ability to know the law better than the people writing the laws. We also discuss the Libertarian Party convention and the just desserts that were the result of not understanding politics, operating out of smugness and personality. Another great episode!
