Going back now. I. Like, I said we already, like, caught. We. We already caught up, just so you know. So I already kind of know the background. You guys. You guys have been friends for 12 years. Started your friendship. You know, you guys never fought, which is great. Never fight, nothing. But then you both, I guess, discover that you have this passion for DJing. So where did that come from? Were you at, like, a cool party and you're like, oh, this shit's cool, or like, how'd it go?

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yeah. So we started going to events together. We started off as friends, besties. We were besties from the moment we met each other, like, to be honest. And from these events, we started becoming friends with a lot of other DJs, and we just got really inspired by them and wanted to, like, learn on our own, which we did. And then we just started having more fun with it and going to, like, some people's houses, parties and DJing, and we just turned it into, like, a serious thing. We got better and better. Yeah, at first, you know, it was

a little rough, but was it men DJs, or, like, you saw girls DJing? You're like, oh, this is like, mostly men.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Mostly men. To be honest with you.

That's crazy. Like, oh, man. But I was telling you this. Like, I think it's so sexy to see a girl with the headphones and she's on the, you know, she's like on the ones and twos and she's. I think that is so badass. I love seeing that. And anytime, you know, when I heard that you wanted to come on the bill, I'm like, this is perfect. Showcasing two bad, bad, bad, bad girls that are DJs and just crushing life right now.

Yeah, we love it. I feel like we've just, we've been doing great at it too. Like going from that friendship to going into like a working bestie relationship has been so smooth and I wouldn't want it with anybody else as well, so.

And now you guys, you guys co own a company, right? It's JD and JD and GF.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yes, that's our company.

So you, your DJing thing. But you also, I know you go to school. What do you go to school as well?

[Gianna Ferrazi]

I don't. I graduated this last year or a year ago actually now really old.

[Podcast Host]

So you're, I mean you're balancing DJ like you're going to school. Like how are you able to balance this energy drinks for me?

[Gianna Ferrazi]

Honestly, I like being busy. I like the, the go, go, go. Like I like being all over the place. So having a packed schedule is fun for me.

[Podcast Host]

Right. I feel like you get so much more accomplished when you have things to do from the minute you wake up until the minute you go to sleep and you're so much more productive. Like when I have nothing going on during it, which is rare. But then I just feel like this is, it's so stagnant. I can't do it.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

I can't sit still. Like that's something Like I've never been able to sit still. My mom like even tells me you need to relax, like you're stressing out. But I can't. I'm always on the go. And again, energy drinks are my best friend.

I don't know if I love that, but I love that you're always on the go. I love that, I love that, I love that. So Gianna, you are modeling, right? So was that like your career path at first?

[Gianna Ferrazi]

Yeah, that's how we met. We both, both of you were child models and we were going to a lot of the same classes.

That's why you're so freaking cute.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

We looked a lot alike.

[Podcast Host]

I swear. Like at the beginning I was like, you guys kind of look alike.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yeah, yeah, we get that a lot. And sometimes, you know, I lie and I'm like, yeah, we're sisters.

We could be, definitely could be sisters. Yeah, were doing castings and Whatnot together.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

Yeah. So that's how we first met each other. Our moms became good friends. Very good friends. And then our relationship came after.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yeah, absolutely.

And then you just love DJing together. It's just like a whole together.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yeah. So, okay, so let's talk a little bit about the DJing, because I, like, I'm very interested in this. So you decide at what age that you're both really interested in this.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

We started what, five years ago now?

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yeah. So I think we were what, seven

[Gianna Ferrazi]

or maybe six years ago now. 2019. The end of 2019 is when we first started.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Right around Covid time, like right before, on the brink of it. And then we started just learning, trying to like build up more like courage and. Yeah, just ability of it.

But where'd you book your first gig?

[Gianna Ferrazi]

What was our first gig?

[Jocelyn Delgado]

It was like a house, right? Oh, like our first Flynn.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

That was our first real gig. Yeah.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Oh yeah, Flynn's was our first real gig, but we did like some house parties.

Was it good? Like, did you go and like, it was great.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Like, we've been to Flynn's every summer since then.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

Since then we've been there consistently every sing. This is our like fifth summer coming up that we'll be there. It was great. A great turnout. Like, everyone loved us. We loved everyone.

They must have loved you. All the little boys were like, oh my God. And like, how cool is that? You're both girls. It's just so. I love it.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

I love the moment. It's so much fun.

Now, I heard you launched skincare. Was it you that launched. Okay, so you launched a skin. Let's talk a little bit about that. So where are you finding time to do all of this? I know he talks about a packed schedule, but DJing, going to school, modeling, now skincare.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

I've lived like 12 lives. But yeah, I started a skincare company and a false eyelash company, and that was a joy for me. I loved it so much. More recently, since I was going to school, I didn't put as much focus into the company. I was focusing on my schooling, but now that I'm graduated, I would love to give more time to that. It was so much fun, like creating new products. And I love skincare. Skin is like such a big.

Your skin looks flawless.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

But.

But yeah, you both are really entrepreneurs. Because I know, I know that you dip and dab in real estate, or maybe not dip and dab, but I know you do real estate as well. So where did that come from?

[Jocelyn Delgado]

When I was in High school, I interned actually at a real estate office. I just really wanted to see what it was about. I mean, at that point I kind of had people I knew that was also in real estate. And I just decided to get my license right out of high school. So I did it for a couple years again. Now I'm in school, so I kind of dibble, dabble down. But I'm graduating soon, so I'm getting back into it for sure.

Where does your entrepreneurial spirit come from? Because both of you are like that and so young.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

We might just motivate each other, to be honest. Like, I know she started with her business. I wanted to get into like my own thing. And then we just started doing something together.

[Gianna Ferrazi]

And we always support each other. We're each other's number one fans. We're like, is push each other to do the best that we can.

I love it. Two women uplifting each other, not pushing each other down. And your friends are your mirrors. So sticking around like you want somebody to keep pushing you.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Right.

You know, you want.

Exactly.

And why not? I mean, you're young now and you're. The way that your mind is in the way that you both are thinking is incredible because I'm sure. What are your friends doing? They're not entrepreneurial, I'm sure.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Well, I do have some friends that are really, like, they're really passionate. I have a lot of friends in aesthetics, so they have their own, like, waxing businesses. Facial.

So you're doing now with a whole bunch of entrepreneurs, I should say. My friends were not. Maybe I should rephrase it. My friends were not very entrepreneurial. So it's just funny. Like, not funny, but it's amazing to see two young women really pursuing entrepreneurship and really doing it. Not just talking about it, but being about it.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Right. I think that's the biggest thing, like actually doing it. A lot of people talk about it and say they want to do it, but we really stuck to it and I feel like motivated each other to really stick to things and like, keep it going and pull through all the way.

What do your parents think about your entrepreneurial spirits and your DJing?

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Oh, they love it. They love it. Yeah, yeah, they come a lot. Yeah, moms for sure. They want to have their day out, you know, it's such a good excuse.

What's your favorite? Because you were telling me that your genre is more like Latin beat. Like, Latin. So how do you guys combine it together?

[Gianna Ferrazi]

Yeah, she likes more, like, Latin music. I like rap, house.

Like, I'm a mix of everything. But she really likes, like, house and, like, pop house.

I've been loving Sarah Laundry recently. She's a really popular, like, techno EDM artist. I love her. She's so hot, and she just, like, kills it at every festival.

You like a lot of, like, Dom Dolla, like, John Summit, like, how about Pauly D?

So I went to his concert and there he was DJing. Yeah, he DJed everything from, like, Biggie to, like, Eminem. You name it, he was dj.

I'm sure he was good.

You know, I would love to go to Ibiza.

Absolutely. I mean, I. I would just love to do some club. Like, more clubs in Miami. 11 space.

Yes, I've been.

I know a guy that got lost in space. Once. I'm not joking. He really did. He got lost.

It took a while for him to come back, but he really did get lost and I can't. I'll tell you about it off air, but yeah, I do know a guy. Yeah, I used to have a. Funny enough in space years ago, my ex husband and I, we had oxygen bars in space. In club space. Like Oxygen. Do you know an oxygen bar is like, you know, where you put it in your. It's like a. It was a big thing. Like it was a fatty thing years ago and we had like oxygen bars there. Wow, that club is insane. 11, I love never been. If you've gone to 11, you've made it. You have to go there. And then Vegas. How about some Vegas pool parties? Oh yeah.

We've never been to Vegas though. I've never been.

Is that really what you want to do ultimately is just be DJs or you want to able to like intertwine real estate or entrepreneurship? Like, how does that look?

[Gianna Ferrazi]

I feel like we want to. We want to dj, but we also want to explore our individual like adventures that we both have. And we're going to continue to just support each other through whatever. Maybe we get a new idea along the line and a new venture comes up for us.

But yeah, I think we've just always been great together and you know, as time goes by, I will always have her in my Life. Especially with DJing. Like, that's my way of like always staying close to each other because we do live.

I would have to say. One time we were at Meatball place and I specifically remember the Waka Flocka song coming on and we were jumping so hard on like the stage behind the booth and the way it was set up, our laptop was like on top of the seating space.

There wasn't like a laptop stand and the equipment was kind of all over the place. So we just had our laptop kind of balancing.

[Jocelyn Delgado]

Yeah. So.

But then we have a little crazy

jumping, but not even like the entire place started shaking, that our computer fell

I mean, sometimes, yeah, there's Definitely more girl DJs now than there ever was. So some places, like, know what they're getting into, but some people underestimate us. Yeah, absolutely.

they're like, oh, you're actually really good.

I feel like I would just say if you're gonna do something, like, be good at what you do.

We were just busy working and we weren't able to go, but we were getting asked to go. So I've been really just, like, wanting to, like.

Yeah, I mean, you know, I'm single now. I hope to be married one day, but I would love to just be successful in my own as an individual. I work hard. I've been working hard. So I think it's so important to me to be successful in every aspect that I've been working in, especially with you. I don't know. I'm very, like, live day by day and see how it goes. But all I want is just to be happy and, like, be happy in what I did and be happy with how I spent my 20s, like, how I went about it.
