Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Standby for the O'Reilly update. Morning Edition on this Tuesday, I'm thinking about the Communist takeover of New York City. Mayor Zarhan Mamdani is a flat out Marxist. He wants to control the means of production in the nation's largest city. Just last week, ma', am, Donnie froze rent hikes for two years. Landlords had no say. The city just did it. Next on Zorhan's Lenin wish list is food. The mayor will try to regulate how it's distributed. Regulations will strangle grocery stores and some will be replaced by city run food depots. Nothing democratic about this. Mandami and his godfather, Senator Bernie Sanders despise the free marketplace. They believe the billionaires control production, exploiting the folks. Mao, Stalin, Fidel and Ho all fought the same way. Millions died transitioning to communism. My book Confronting Evil chronicles this. In New York, Mamdani and his cadre have amassed significant power because of ignorance and apathy on the part of many voters. Looks to me like this trend will have to be confronted by Americans who understand that capitalism provides opportunity while communism certainly does not. That's what the progressives want, to control your aspirations and success. To me, that's evil. Back in a moment.

And we're live on matchday as Doug reaches for a buffalo wing. He's got it. Oh, and he's gone for a can of Pepsi, too. What a finish. There's no doubt about it. It just tastes better. Match Days deserve Pepsi.

That is the Morning O'Reilly update. More analysis later on.
Podcast: Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News and Analysis
Episode: O'Reilly Update Morning Edition, June 30, 2026
Host: Bill O’Reilly
Main Theme:
Bill O’Reilly delivers a sharp analysis of what he frames as the “Communist takeover of New York City,” focusing on the policies and motivations of Mayor Zarhan Mamdani. O’Reilly draws historical parallels, critiques rent control measures, and voices concerns about impending governmental regulations over food distribution, all while urging listeners to remain vigilant against what he labels as progressive, anti-capitalist trends.
Bill O’Reilly’s Morning Edition for June 30, 2026, is a warning against what he views as a Marxist shift in New York City’s governance, represented by Mayor Zarhan Mamdani’s rent freeze and speculated food regulations. Drawing comparisons to historic Communist movements, O’Reilly attributes these changes to progressive ideology and voter disengagement, urging an active defense of capitalism to preserve opportunity and individual aspiration.
