Daniel Baldwin
I come right out and call Anthony Fauci a war criminal.
Bill O'Reilly
Liberals have morphed now into communism, socialism. In my life, if somebody doesn't like Donald Trump, you come to me. I'll tell you, we don't need to
Daniel Baldwin
do this woke BS anymore.
Bill O'Reilly
Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to another edition of Will Do It Live. You may remember a few weeks ago I had Stephen Baldwin on the program and we got to discussing the Baldwin family. There are four actors in the family, okay. There are Alec, Billy Baldwin, Steven and Daniel Baldwin. And the fascination here for me is that two are conservative and two are liberal, very liberal. And how do you negotiate that? Because millions of Americans find themselves in the exact same position that some of their family members see it one way, they see it another. Can you heal a breach or whatever? So joining us now is Daniel Baldwin. You know him, he's a big TV guy and been around for quite some time and starred in a bunch of Born on the Fourth of July. It was a big movie, Homicide, Life on the Street. I picked him up there and he'd been very successful. So I appreciate you coming on. When your brother was on, he wasn't as intense as you are as far as the family dynamic was concerned. But correct me if I'm wrong, you think it's politics has damaged the Baldwin family, is that correct?
Daniel Baldwin
Oh, there's no question that it's damaged relationships. There was a, a period of time, there was Trump won the first time and Stephen was leaning more on his as I am being a born again Christian also, both of us knowing Trump, having worked with him and for him, and so he was out of the closet, straight out supported Donald Trump this time round. And I believe, again, I don't want to speak for Stephen, but I believe because of pressures to other famous people in his direct family, I'll leave it at that. He has had to renounce his participation in politics. And he says I'm retired from politics, which is his choice. But I think it's a BS answer myself.
Bill O'Reilly
It's an economic choice. So you know, and I know anybody involved with showbiz knows it's a lot harder to get a job in Hollywood, particularly a mainstream job when you are a conservative Christian. In fact, I mean, even big names like Mel Gibson, people like that have a hard time dealing with the Disney's and distributors of the films who are almost 100% liberal. It's a culture in Hollywood. So I don't know where Stephen is in his life or his thinking, but it's interesting that you say that politics did damage your family. So there are four brothers and two sisters. Your mom is still alive, right?
Daniel Baldwin
Mom passed away just a couple years ago.
Bill O'Reilly
I'm sorry. Okay. So I'm glad she. I'm not glad she passed away, but I don't think your mom would like to get involved with all of this. From all I know about the Baldwins, and I'm Levittown, you're Massapequa, you guys were rambunctious, but it was a harmonious family growing up, correct?
Daniel Baldwin
Yeah. I mean, here's the difference. And my mother would have said the same thing. My father, I think, would be very upset with where it lies right now. Billy and I have seemed to be able to. And we've gone at it. You know, I mean, he is very, very well known for not liking Donald Trump. Things that he writes on his social media and so on and so forth. But he and I have tried to not talk about each other or go back and forth on Twitter or social media. Let's not air it out. He has made his opinion very known to me, and so he and I kind of. And I'm closest to Billy, so we don't really talk about politics very much. It's just. There's nothing really to talk about. We have completely different takes on stuff that comes out. And my knowledge of subversive and. And the. The machine that is the media and who they support and how they're paid and. And he doesn't look at that at all. It's. It's, you know, when you write Donald Trump, 94 convictions and blah, blah, blah. And I look at him and go, for what? For saying this real estate was worth more money than. And he wanted more money for his real estate. And that's. If you took that away from realtors and property owners in New York, you wouldn't have real estate in New York anymore. I mean, some of the most ridiculous nonsense. But again, in. In their Alec, you know, he and I, we don't talk very much anymore, and I don't talk to Stephen at all anymore. By their choice, not mine. My father would have looked at this bill and he would have said, how could you let your brotherhood be separated over a political issue like that? We would come in my father's book way before. I believe, maybe they don't believe that.
Bill O'Reilly
So now, your father was a schoolteacher. You guys were from a working class family, and you grew up in a traditional manner, but now you see things differently. But that is very common in America. It's Very, very common. And it distresses me. I want the Baldwins to be together on Thanksgiving, having a good time. I don't care, you know, in my life if somebody doesn't like Donald Trump. And I've known a man 35 years, so if you wanted to know something about him other than the propaganda, you come to me, I'll tell you and I'll tell you honestly. But I'm not in business in any way, shape or form to promote the President. I understand that people believe what they want to believe. They want to believe this, as you pointed out with Billy. So he wants to see a country that's a certain way, you see it a different way, but why can't you have a few laughs about it?
Daniel Baldwin
You know, I believe exactly what you're saying. I have said, know what if we just don't ever talk about. And then people started unfollowing and unsupporting and on, you know, and I thought, okay, well, you know, you don't want to follow me on social media. You're my brother. It's going to look very odd that you're. We're not following each other. But I, I, I, again, I don't care, I don't care what Alec and his wife do on shows. I don't care what Stephen is pontificating about. I'm not losing any sleep over it.
Bill O'Reilly
But you.
Daniel Baldwin
She's my, but he's my brother. They're my brothers and I love them.
Bill O'Reilly
Right.
Daniel Baldwin
Doesn't that over supersede anything to do with Republican or Democrat? In my opinion, it does. And I can live with them saying, touting, believing, whatever they do. They, they, a lot of times cannot. They cannot, they cannot.
Bill O'Reilly
It's not unusual. The left, very hyper, very hyper sensitive to criticism. I never figured that out. And the right is too, but not at the same level. I remember having Alec on the Factor, and he did come in and we give him props for that. But I did the interview in more of a jocular way. I think he was beating up guys who were giving his car a hard time or something. You know, Alec, I mean, there's always something going on. The pizza was cold, so he storms in, whatever it may be. And I tried to keep it in that zone of why are you so crazy? I didn't get into the socialism aspect, but here's something I would really like if I could get all four Baldwin brothers in a room. So the liberals have morphed now into communism, socialism. We want a new country that gets a little more serious. Particularly if you really have a loyalty to your country, if you're a veteran, if you've sacrificed greatly for the advancement of this nation, then I understand now we're clocking two. We hate the country, we love the country. I'm not sure where the Dayton is possible there. And I think that might be going on in the balance.
Daniel Baldwin
Well, one of the things I always say, and I point this out when we would have even all as Democrats early on in the 80s, 90s, even up to 2000 and change, I didn't really become a Republican or nor did I support anything to do with Trump besides being a friend until he ran in 16. And, and so I will say this. When you were wrong, when you, when you, you know, the Giants were playing whoever, and I said, yeah, they're not going to win this game, trust me, Tampa Bay. And, but, you know, and you get a phone call afterwards going, you were right. Holy crap. I didn't see that. He threw for. And we, and, you know, and, and we'd move on. Even though I can substantiate and prove things like, I don't think you understand they're lying to you in the polls. He's not losing in seven battleground states. He's going to win all seven of them. This is the kind of propaganda that's being done, that's being fed by people who have money that really control access to this information and the news. And so, sure enough, when he wins all seven and beats her ass and wins the presidency, I didn't get a phone call going, wow, man, you were right. So in this subject, no one wants to even admit when they're wrong. No one wants to admit the.
Bill O'Reilly
I want to hear it, that's for sure. Now, when did it cross over for you into the jobs? So, you know, there was a group, I might still exist, the Sons of Abe, I think it's called out in la, and conservative actors, Bruce Willis, people like that would go, and they'd all discuss the difficulty of navigating the show business employment situation. If you didn't tow the liberal line, you had to tow it in order to get work. When did you see that begin?
Daniel Baldwin
That's been there for a long, long time, Bill. You know, you, if you. It was better for me. And again, remember, I'm a crossover. I was a Democrat, I supported Barack Obama and now look back at it now with. And I feel very bad because I think he's going to be in big trouble. His legacy will be destroyed. He's a criminal, in my opinion. So I think that again, but I was part of it, so I didn't really notice it. Now my. My phone never rings. Now. I mean, I have a podcast that I come right out and call Anthony Fauci a war criminal. He's a war criminal. He should go to prison for sure. And a lot of the rest of them. So it's not popular to be on this side. There's a few Dean Cain, Scott Baio I'm friends with, but Stephen was for a long time now he's retired from politics. But there's also a number of people, Bill, behind closed doors, that will say one thing, that out in public, they won't say the same thing because they're fearful
Bill O'Reilly
about it. Right. And the suits will never admit that they're not going to consider a Daniel Baldwin for a role because they don't like Daniel Baldwin's politics. They'll never admit it. But it's so pervasive now that it harms the country, in my opinion, because you can't work. This is like Joseph McCarthy in the 50s. So McCarthy points at you and says, you're a communist, and then you can't work. That's exactly what happened. And the irony of it all is lost on the liberal hobbly wood community, which of course rebelled against McCarthy, but they're doing the same thing.
Daniel Baldwin
I think you're going to find, Bill, that. Let's just do the math. More people voted for Donald Trump than voted for Joe Biden. More people are. Kamala. So that means that there's at least half or more out there that support the types of things that I am upset about in this country and what we've become. So they also. Michael Jordan had a great line, why did you not use all of your power? Why did you not use your influence? And he said, republicans buy sneakers, too. That was his line. And so he kind of stayed neutral even though he was right up there. Bigger than Oprah, bigger than a lot of them, and he could have made a difference. And he decided not to because it would have affected his box office appeal.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah.
Daniel Baldwin
So knowing that there's at least half out there that follow the red, you know, you would think that a movement. And. And there are some people out there now, Mel, along with Slice the loan and Wahlberg and whatever. And, you know, they're getting together and they're saying, hey, man, we don't need to do this woke BS anymore. We don't. We're going to do our own thing over here and our people come watch our stuff. The Other people don't, don't, don't want to do it, then don't. It's okay. So you're going to see production and stuff change in Hollywood in the next decade. You'll see.
Bill O'Reilly
Well, that's an interesting prediction. Now you've moved to Houston, Texas, out of the mainstream Hollywood grid. Why'd you do that?
Daniel Baldwin
Well, I was walking, I was directing a faith based film, Mickey Rourke, Billy and Steven to my brothers, which I will tell the audience now, if you have the option to direct a movie with two of your brothers and don't do it. It took 10 years off my life. It was, it was, it was hard. But, but I did this movie and I wanted to break into the faith based market, which is a tough market to break into. And at Kroger with my two teenage daughters shopping and my now wife comes walking by me and I took one look at her and I thought, oh my goodness, she's so beautiful. And she walked right by, didn't even notice me. She's 30 years younger than I am. And then a couple aisles later she walked by again and she looked up and she smiled and, and I thought, hang on a second, maybe the old man's in the game. So I don't see her again. I, I'm out in the parking lot and in this giant Kroger parking lot, she comes out with her cart, she's parked right next to me. So I said to her, do you think that this is a God thing that we're supposed to meet because we're parked right next to each other after smiling at each other or do you think it's just a coincidence? She said no, we're probably supposed to meet. Well, we've been together for five years now. My wife is a Notre Dame law school graduate. She's with a really, really big law firm. We have a three year old son and I named him, you're going to remember, Bat Masterson. I named him Bat. So Bat Baldwin, my three year old son and my wife and I are here in Houston because I, I understand the mentality here better.
Bill O'Reilly
Bill.
Daniel Baldwin
I, you know when, when they brought up Here's a great, I'm a New York kid, we're both Long island boys and they let this guy as the mayor. And I said, do you have any idea what you're doing? What's going to happen to New York City if you let this guy come in? I've gone further than that and said, I'm really worried about Netanyahu going to New York. I Am I, am. I think this is going to start to get violent, Bill. I do.
Bill O'Reilly
No, I think so because the voters, and we saw it with the Wisconsin gubernatorial primary and this is the silent story that isn't told by cbs, NBC and CNN and the rest of them, the voters 77 million you referenced voted for Donald Trump. They don't want a new country. They love America. They want a debtor. My new book is Confronting what has To Change. They want a better country, but they don't want these loons because they are loons. Now that brings me to an interesting point. I never found Alec Baldwin and I know him a little because of his agent is a friend of mine to be totally irrational. He was like Warren Beatty or a million of these Hollywood guys who, you know, yeah, we want to help everybody and, but they really, they weren't crazy guys like we want to blow up the Department of Defense. I never found him that way. Has he gone into that loon zone, as I call it?
Daniel Baldwin
No, no, no. I didn't mean to imply my connecting my brothers to the statement. I just think that there's, it was interesting. There was a post and it was Alec about. He was, he got home from some job and he was watching some special on the Civil War and he went back and watched everything and he ends this piece that he's talking about on I don't know whether it was whatever it was Tik Tok or one of the, one of these sites and he said, you know, he left it open. Is this where we're heading? And you know what, I have to tell you that I know you say it's, it's far fetched but the brewings and, and stuff that's going on in the disparaging difference between the first civil war in this country and now this. This is a few years pre civil war and it sounds very similar.
Bill O'Reilly
That's what they said in Vietnam and there was violence in Vietnam, there was homegrown violence and it frittered out. And in our history, we're a resilient country. Things fritter. We need dynamic leadership on both sides. But I don't see it. You might be right though. I mean I'm predicting the past, what I've seen in the past. There have been three times in our history where the nation was at risk and that was civil war, the Vietnam War and now the rise of communism today, which came out of nowhere. I could have never predicted this. Even though I wrote a book called Culture Warrior where I set it up. I never thought that these people would elect Zoram Ondami. I know why they're doing it. I mean, they want free stuff. They don't believe they can make it here. They believe everything's rigged and there's no way you're going to get them out of that, particularly with the education system. But my question is that I'm trying to get a string going among you four guys to bring you guys together. See, that's the kind of guy I am. I'm just the salt of the earth. That's me. You're watching the salt right here. Okay? I'm trying to get you guys together. And I don't know whether it's possible or not because I don't know how far left they are now. You're about as far right as most conservatives are. You want to put Fauci in a cell? I don't want to put him in a cell. You know what I want to do with him? He has to stay in Wuhan forever. Okay? That's my punishment for Anthony. We pay for the ticket. He goes, we got a little cot in the Wuhan lab, and that's where he can't come out. That's what I would do with him. Go ahead.
Daniel Baldwin
You know what would be great for me, Bill? To get, you know, him, Barack, you know, a few. A few of these guys to turn around and say, you know what? I really messed up and I'm sorry,
Bill O'Reilly
but Trump would have to be in there. Well, to.
Daniel Baldwin
To settle the fact that so many people on the left believe that he was a God. And.
Bill O'Reilly
But these aren't thinkers. I mean, were you ever. Were you ever on the View or any of those programs? Did they ever interview you?
Daniel Baldwin
Yeah. From Rosie to Oprah to, you know, I mean, I know. I know everyone just about on that show. I'd love to do that show, but I think that they would, obviously, because of my politics, they, A, wouldn't have me and B, you know, and the great thing about, you know, Whoopi, who I've gone to Nick games with and blah, blah, would be to look at them and go, don't you remember how you used to kiss this guy's ass when he walked on this set? I mean, it's night and day. Once he decided he was going to run for president and you didn't like what side he ran on, he became the devil and you hated him. And it's 99.999 of it is manufactured nonsense that they sit with in a war room with people that are paid to put this material out against him. He says everything.
Bill O'Reilly
He says, yeah, it's. Look, Disney knows what it's doing. Brand has taken a huge hit stock price, a huge hit. And that's the inexplicable part of it. Why would you put your business, your corporation at risk by alienating half the country with Kimmel and the View and all these people have to do. Because I know them all. I was on a view 12 times, and I was on Kimmel four or five times. All they have to do is, is moderated a little bit and say, okay, here's Dan Baldwin coming ON and here's O'Reilly. We're going to bring him in. And number one, they get good ratings. And number two, then they get the stigma of being just propagandists, maybe lessons, but they won't do it. Do you know why they won't do it?
Daniel Baldwin
Because it would damage, you know, the money you think that they're losing at Disney. You know, they're, they're making tenfold back by putting poison in chip bags and then treating you and then treating you for the cancer that they give you 40 years later because they own the, the chemical companies that.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, maybe that's true. I haven't looked into it, but they're charging poor kids and their families $400 a day to go to Disney World. That's where they're making their money back. But the reason that we wouldn't be able to get booked on Kimmel or the View is because they can't answer the questions.
Daniel Baldwin
Right? That's absolutely. Yeah.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay. If you go in and you say to Sunny Hostin, who I gave her her start. All right? I gave Ms. Hasan her start. If you go in and you say, is Zoram Andami a communist? Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Oh, no, no. He's a democratic socialist. And you go, okay, then why is he trying to control the means of production? I'm submitting to you that even though Ms. Hossen is a smart woman with a law degree, she wouldn't come close to answering that. Couldn't answer it. And Jimmy'd have to leave the building and the Spanish guy would have to answer the question because he couldn't, okay? So that's why they don't do it. They don't want to be shown up because facts are facts. Now, when you, when you go out, you have a long, long resume. Some of the things I don't know whether I would have done. I'm a celebrity. Get me out of here. Maybe I would have, but I don't know would have done that. But people know you, and you were on the Sopranos for two episodes. And I remember those episodes from all the people that I've spoke to. Sharipa is a friend of mine. And those guys, there were no politics on the Sopranos. They didn't do that at all.
Daniel Baldwin
No. And actually, what people forget. And I almost jumped out of my chair because the famous last episode where everyone wondered, are they going to kill Tony? What's going to happen? And of course, the screen went black. Just before the screen goes black, unbeknownst to me, the son sits down at the dining room table with the mother and says, dad, I want to join the army. And he goes, you ain't joining nothing. And Tony walks off, he comes back and he lobs a script onto the table and he goes, you're going to Hollywood. You're working with Danny Baldwin. I made the deal with him. And I went, yes, I'm in the movie. Because you figured they're going to come back and do the movie version like Sex in the City and they'll do a couple of these movies every couple of years. So I thought, okay, I got my own storyline. I'm back on the Sopranos after this scene. And then, unfortunately, Jimmy died in Sicily, so we never got a chance to do that. But, yeah, I, There was no politics. And there's guys on there, you know, pants and, you know, different guys that I know that are, you know, huge Democrat guys. And, you know, I, I, I've never been able to. There are some people I've had to separate from. They just did not accept they would not as part of that machine, my stance on politics and in my own family, it has really hurt my feelings terribly that, you know, I'm at such a distance with my three brothers and don't, you know, I barely ever speak to my older sister. I speak to my sister Jane, and I speak to Billy, but I don't speak to the rest of them hardly at all anymore. And I, I think that, you know, we've all put each other through a lot of different stuff. Certainly my addiction and things back in the, in the 90s didn't help my relationship with my family. It doesn't help anybody when you, when you have, when you're fighting something like that. But I'm sober for a long, long time now, and, you know, so I can't. I keep looking at what's changed, that I finally had a really nice relationship with my oldest brother, and now I have no relationship with him again. And it's Trump. So what he does with it. And here's a great, a great thing that Alec gave me. I remember I was on homicide and I had an incident occur with a producer who actually involving a firearm, he pulled a gun on me out in front of work. And I was, I was really thrown by all of it. And I, I called him up and I said, I don't know what to do. And I've called Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson and I got to see this guy every day. And you know, and he said, listen, let me explain something to you. Do you really think that Fontana or Levinson or NBC cares about you? Please, please listen to me. They don't care about you at all. They don't care about you one little bit. And I thought, I remember getting off the phone though going, well, that's not true. I mean, the producers of the show are my friends. But no, they weren't. And he was like, they don't care about you at all.
Bill O'Reilly
And that's a lesson, a life lesson. But your family does care about you. The world feels increasingly unstable. If I can get the four of you knuckleheads in a room, I could get, I can make some progress here because I know Alec. He was always a. He was. I invited him to a touch football game and he was going to show but he didn't because he knew I would show him up. So it didn't show up. I know. Remember if you right, I know Billy because Billy threw a tantrum sometime when he was on the Factor. But I don't really remember what that was. It had something to do with a wise crack. I'm in. And Stephen was just on. But I could get you guys in because you guys do care about each other. At least I know you do. And I think Stephen does when I spoke with him. And so when you add that thread that, okay, we're all a little emotional here about the politics. When Donald Trump leaves office in two and a half years, things will change in America. The whole tone will change. Now it all depends on who takes his place, but it's not going to be nearly as volatile as, okay, so
Daniel Baldwin
where's that going to go? Where's that going to go? The two obvious choices are JD Or Rubio.
Bill O'Reilly
I can't call it, because things will happen. But the folks who are going to make that determination, they don't want the far left. They don't. And I know that because I do this and I get thousands of emails and everybody in the world knows me now because of YouTube, because of this kind of unbelievable exposure that you get through the high tech stuff. Most Americans do not buy into this insanity. And therefore, once you get the guy who is lighting the fuse to some of it, Donald Trump, okay, he's not there anymore, then the intensity level will drop. I can, I can almost guarantee it because that's what has happened throughout history to our country.
Daniel Baldwin
I, I agree, I believe that the, you know, it's funny, I remember as a young man watching Nixon and watching Watergate unfold and you know, and knowing, you know, after JFK and already murmurings of what really happened in Dallas at Dealey Plaza and so on and what, what, you know, the, the underworld is capable of doing. I mean, you know, it's, it's pretty intense. But, but I remember watching it and people, you know, he wasn't a likable guy. You know, he, Nixon, he was very, very strange man in some ways. And yet I never remember any of this, the hatred. I mean, people don't care at all even what the facts are when it comes to this president. They just hate him so much.
Bill O'Reilly
It's demeanor, it's terrible.
Daniel Baldwin
It's terrible. I've never seen anything like it. The lack of respect for the office, the lack of respect for the fact that a majority of our people elected him president and it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter when it comes to himself.
Bill O'Reilly
Absolutely true. And that is a huge deficit for the opposition. That helps Donald Trump. All of that hatred directed toward him and the MAGA people help him because it makes them, his supporters more passionate. It makes them ready to believe you. We are ready to believe you because we don't trust the other side who continually fabricate things and they're obviously not looking for really what's happening because what's happening is very complicated. Trump's trying to change the tenor economically of the whole country and now with the Iran thing, the whole world, he's trying to change it all. And when you're a change agent like that, it alienates people. So back to you. You're going to now go into the Christian filmmaking business, is that correct?
Daniel Baldwin
Well, I'm, I'm in, I'm in that market with a film now which will be released. There's been some litigation between the producers, but it should be out by, I hope, Christmas. And no, no, I, I, my, I came up with an idea which I can talk a little about, but it's a TV series that has an interesting weave of interactivity with the audience. So it's called Perfect Brats. I also am one of the co founders of a streaming company called Vesta Streaming V E S T A which is here in Houston, Texas. So we're doing a lot of really cool projects. And, and I have to tell you that you hit on this early, Bill. I've had to create and reinvent myself in some ways because of my political stance. You know, I, I honestly can tell you that, you know, I mean, I'm 65 now at. The phone doesn't ring like it did when I was 30, 35 or 45, but it still rang, you know, once a week with, hey, they're interested in you reading for it. I haven't had an audition in Hollywood. Not one audition in over a year. Not one, not one opportunity not to. Now I still get phone calls on smaller films, some medium sized stuff. Would you be interested in, in this role? And they just offer me the role. But no, it's, I, I've had to keep myself busy making my own stuff and, and I have to tell you, it's actually more fun the stuff that they come out with right now. A lot of the stuff I read is the same crap, you know, they, they're just, it's, it's boring. So I'm going to start shooting my own stuff here in Houston.

Good. I mean, that's what I did. And if you have the formula that the folks want it to see, you'll be successful. And I don't have to deal with any of the suits because I run the three corporations that we have and the relief, the relief of not having to deal with idiots and you know, the idiots outnumber the smart people. What I'd say about 50 to 1 out in Hollywood, you know, maybe a little bit more. And I'm respectful to everybody. I mean, I had a great conversation, conversation with Danny Glover, crazy Danny Glover, who's apparently, his health is going downhill. He was the nicest guy. And because I don't come at it like that. I come at it like, hey, you were great in this movie or that movie. I don't come at it now. If they ask me, all right, I'll tell them, but I'll couch it in humor. I'll say, hey, you know, I could be wrong because I don't. The fanaticism that often accompanies partisan politics, that's a destructive emotion. But I think that you're going to be very successful. And I've seen a few of these Christian movies. They do very well. You got to get the distributors. Now, see, the distributors don't want to do that because they, they don't want to alienate the Hollywood pinheads. But they're starting to move in because they know there's an audience for those flicks. They want to see that kind of uplifting stuff. They want their beliefs reinforced. And if you can do it in an entertaining way, this Gibson movie, the part two of the Passion, and I worked a little bit with, with Gibson on the Passion in an advisory way. This is going to be enormous. It's going to blow away Frogman or whatever man. They got, I don't know, Grasshopper, wait till you see when he opens that movie next year, the Mania. And it's things like that that will balance the culture a little bit. Homeowners, when is the last time you checked on your home title? If your answer is never, then this is for you. Scammers are stealing titles and your equity is a target. Criminals forge your signature just like that. Your home title can be transferred out of your name. You know, I, I, I keep thinking about now you saying, you know, I could get the four of you together and this is a microcosm of the whole country. You have to be willing and to be open.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah. Be willing to do it. Sure.
Daniel Baldwin
Your approach to it is I don't tell people they're wrong, you know, and you invite people to participate and you're, you know, listening to. But if you're already going to walk in the door and tell me I'm wrong if you're already going to the door.
Bill O'Reilly
So my idea is this. We kidnapped four of Alex children. What does he have 15 now? He's got like a, we kidnap four of them and we take them to an undisclosed location with a note. You shut up. You show up here but you can't talk politics or you'll never see these urchins again.
Daniel Baldwin
I think you go, he's like me. I think you go to his wife. He's got a young, you know, influential wife like I do. So I think if you, if you get her, he has to follow. She really runs the show. Just like, okay.
Bill O'Reilly
And there's no downside. Like there shouldn't be a downside for detente in the Baldwin family. You know, I mean it's a great American family in the sense that you have a school teacher, you have a homemaker, your parents, you have six kids. Four of them become famous in perhaps the most competitive industry on the planet, acting. I mean this is a big American story. Here, which really hasn't been told the way it should be. So there's worthiness to the story. And then plus, because I am the salt of the earth, I want to see you guys be friends.
Daniel Baldwin
You know, Bill, I would say that the answer to this comes and makes most sense for most of my guys. And it's interesting that you're, you know, a guy from Levittown. When I talk to friends of mine from Massapequa that aren't involved at all in this business that could care who still does movies, what they did, blah, blah, blah, genuinely happy for, you know, the Irish Catholic, you know, sons of a school teacher and football coach and Bubba. And they look and they go, who cares? Like.
Bill O'Reilly
Like, who cares who you're voting for? Right, Right.
Daniel Baldwin
Cares. Who cares? I don't care.
Bill O'Reilly
With one exception. So I got my guys, about 25 of them, and guys I've known since I'm five years old, okay? Because that's a New York thing. And they got a little Boston and Philly in there, but it's primarily. So I got my guys. If they say something unbelievably stupid, they're done. But it's not just one side. It's like all the 24 guys go, what? What did you just say? And that just makes it. This takes all the tension out of it. It makes it fun. I could. I could produce a program with you four, okay. That would be a huge hit. All right, so the Baldwin brothers, and we put it on, you know, God knows what. But you got two libs and you got two conservatives, man. Can you imagine that? And that's the way it should be.
Daniel Baldwin
I think the more thing, Bill, would be to talk about how it got to where it is versus debating Trump or Democrat.
Bill O'Reilly
Sure.
Daniel Baldwin
How did we let it get to a point where people aren't talking to each other? I mean, we're brothers. We were raised in that same house. And there were a lot of challenges about that. And there was, you know, I can remember the excitement of, you know, Alec calling me up and saying, yeah, guess what, man? We lost Clouse Marie Brandauer. And I'm like, you lost the guy that's going to play the Russian Uboat captain at Hunt for Reduction? Yeah, we lost him. He dropped out at the last minute. I'm like, what are they going to do? That guy was perfectly. They got another guy. And I go, they told you? Who is it? He goes,
Bill O'Reilly
like.
Daniel Baldwin
Like, we went nuts that he was going to work with James Bond. I mean, we were so excited for each other at every turn and every. And like, it seems like all of that is gone now. You know.
Bill O'Reilly
You know why?
Daniel Baldwin
Sad. No.
Bill O'Reilly
The media. The media has inflamed the American population, particularly those who don't understand the media don't know why they're saying what they're saying. And it's all about money. And so they hear this not only on television and radio, but on social media in particular. For the younger people. They hear this stuff constantly. Trump is corrupt. Trump is this. Trump is that. Republicans don't care if you starve to death. You know, the liberals are the greatest. Kamala Harris is a Mensa person, and, you know, they hear it and they hear it and they hear it and they hear it. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Daniel Baldwin
Whoever said Kamala Harris was Mensa, please
Bill O'Reilly
don't tell me that Newsom. They hear all this propaganda, and some people who don't know much, they incorporate it into their personal belief system. And then when you attack somebody's personal belief. Belief system, all hell breaks loose. So we're going to take a quick break for our premium and concierge members and come back with Killing Time. For the rest of you all over the world who have watched this, thank you very much for taking the time. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.
Episode: We’ll Do It LIVE! — Daniel Baldwin
Host: Bill O’Reilly
Guest: Daniel Baldwin
Date: August 13, 2026
This episode features actor Daniel Baldwin, one of the four famed Baldwin brothers, in an in-depth conversation with Bill O’Reilly. The discussion centers on how political divisions—particularly those stemming from the Trump era—have fractured the Baldwin family and the broader American landscape. The episode explores the personal, cultural, and professional consequences of political polarization, especially in Hollywood. Daniel candidly discusses estrangement within his family, bias in the entertainment industry, and his own journey from liberal Democrat to outspoken conservative.
"The media has inflamed the American population, particularly those who don't understand the media don't know why they're saying what they're saying. And it's all about money.” (45:35, Bill O’Reilly)
“My phone never rings now. ...I have a podcast that I come right out and call Anthony Fauci a war criminal. ...So it’s not popular to be on this side.” (11:34, Daniel Baldwin)
“We don’t need to do this woke BS anymore.” (14:12, Daniel Baldwin)
“When Donald Trump leaves office in two and a half years, things will change in America. The whole tone will change.” (31:42, Bill O’Reilly)
In a revealing and often candid conversation, Daniel Baldwin and Bill O’Reilly explore the deeply personal effects of America’s ideological split, showing how national division has fractured not only politics but also families and entire professions. The episode underscores the need for dialogue and mutual respect, with both O’Reilly and Baldwin expressing hopes for reconciliation—both in their own circles and in the country as a whole. Daniel’s story also doubles as a cautionary tale for Hollywood, with a caution about lasting cultural changes and a call for broader creative independence.
Key Takeaway:
Personal relationships and civil society are being tested in unprecedented ways by political animosity, media narratives, and cultural gatekeeping. But with willingness, honesty, and some humor, even the deepest divides can begin to heal.
