Bill O'Reilly
Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the no Spin News. Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Stand up for your country. Well, President Trump doing some press to mark his 100 days in office. The ABC News interview in primetime last night was a fiasco. And I hate to criticize my peers unless they're dishonest. And Terry Moran, the interview guy on ABC was not dishonest, but he had no idea how to interview Donald Trump because you can't ask open ended questions to let the president filibuster and say the same things he said 10 million times before. You just can't. Now tonight on News Nation at 8pm we have a town hall, two hours worth, I think your time. I'm the bouncer, the co anchor in this I love. Cuomo's head is a great poster. I might even frame that. So anyway, you'll see and we do have President Trump on the phone, kick off the two hours. Should be interesting. But you'll notice how I interview him as opposed to everybody else who I hate to be disrespectful, but they're told what to say. So Moran had somebody write the questions for him. He probably had a few of his own. But that's not what these interviews are about. They're collective. Nobody tells me what to ask and I don't tell anybody what I'm going to ask. Okay, so nobody knows. Big surprise. Anyway, the Trump press tour hasn't broken any news so far, and I hope tonight it will, because when he and I get together, it's a whole different dynamic. Talking Points Memo this evening is analyzing that ABC News interview. Okay, so they begin as they should have, with the tariffs, which is causing uncertainty and some precincts panic. And so far there are no deals. I do hear from very reliable sources, but I'm not going to report it as fact because I don't use anonymous sources that India and South Korea will be announced shortly. But who knows? Once that happens, there'll be a domino effect. All right, so I'm pretty sure Japan's close. Eu I don't know. Okay. I don't know what they're doing. Everybody's watching everybody else. Once those tariff deals start to get rolling, then Donald Trump's position in the polls and everything should be better because the stock market should go up. Maybe it won't, but it should. Now, just today, Donald Trump, you know, removed some of the tariffs on auto parts. And I can't keep up with it. And I'm not going to bore you with it, okay? If you want to know what he's doing from day to day, just Google President Trump tariffs, and then the latest, whatever he's doing will appear before your eyes. I just can't take the time because the man changes every hour on the hour. All right, so anyway, Terry Moran had an appropriate question for Donald Trump about tariffs. Go.
Terry Moran
People are worried. Even some people who voted for you saying, I didn't sign up for this. So how do you answer those concerns?
Donald Trump
Well, they did sign up for it, actually. And this is what I campaigned on. I said that we've been abused by other countries at levels that nobody's ever seen before. We were losing three to $5 billion a day on trade. We were losing a trillion and a half to $2 trillion a year. Not sustainable. They were taking advantage of us like they've never. I could have left it that way. And at some point there would have been an implosion like nobody's ever seen. But I said, no, we have to fix it.
Terry Moran
So your answer to the concern about the tariffs is, everything's going to be.
Donald Trump
Hunky dory, Everything's going to be just fine. It wouldn't have been if I didn't do this. I had a choice. I could leave it, have a nice easy time, but I think ultimately you would have had an implosion.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, now, the president believes what he wants to believe, and he wants to believe it's all going to turn out fine. But the truth is nobody knows how it's going to turn out because you got China and a lot of other things that are intersecting. I, if I had to bet, I would bet on the side that Trump will be successful here, at least partially successful. Okay? But that's a risky bet. Nobody knows. The second one was about the immigration thing. Now, I'm going to break some news tonight for you right now. The reason that this guy, and I wish President Trump would say this, I wish I didn't have to, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. This is the guy in Maryland who was swept up in the ICE raid and deported to El Salvador. Okay? And the Democratic Party and the media has made him into a martyr. He's a bad guy. We have documented that on this program. He's a bad guy. But the Supreme Court has ruled that the Trump administration should expedite his return to the usa. So he, because he was in the system, this guy applied for asylum under the insane Joe Biden rules, where anybody could. All right, the reason that the Trump administration has not brought him back yet is because they're compiling evidence that Garcia is Ms. 13. If he is, if the Justice Department can prove that, that might turn the Supreme Court to another ruling. Because you'll remember that President Trump signed an executive order designating Ms. 13, a Venezuelan gang and the drug cartels in Mexico as terrorist organizations. Therefore, the President has total control over what to do with any of them. He can kill them. He can order them killed. Now, it has not been established in a court that Garcia is Ms. 13. President Trump believes that he's got some tattoos on his fingers that say he is. The Justice Department is not using that tattoo thing in its petition against Garcia. That tells me they don't have it. The President wants to believe it again that Garcia's got tattoos, that he's Ms. 15. But if the Justice Department had, that already would have been out. It is not out. That is extremely important for you to understand. The, the odds are that the tattoo thing is not going to be used in evidence against Garcia. That doesn't mean he's not Ms. 13. Remember, the Tennessee authorities caught him with undocumented aliens in a van and they let him go. I don't believe it, but they did. And that's not just an accident. He's a human smuggler. He's involved in this. All right? So of course, abc, along with all the other networks and all the anti Trump media, they have made Garcia into a semi hero roll of Tape.
Terry Moran
Let me ask you about one man in one court order, Kilmar Abrego Garcia. He's the Salvadoran man who crossed into this country illegally, but who is under a protective order that he not be sent back to El Salvador. Your government sent him back to El Salvador and acknowledged in court that was a mistake. And now the Supreme Court has upheld an order that you must return him to facilitate his return to the United States. What are you doing to comply?
Donald Trump
Well, the lawyer that said it was a mistake was here a long time, was not appointed by us. Should not have said that. Should not have said that. And just send the person that you're talking about. You know, you're making this person sound. This is a MS.13 gang member, a tough cookie, been in lots of skirmishes, beat the hell out of his wife, and the wife was petrified to even talk about him.
Terry Moran
Okay, but the court has ordered you to facilitate that.
Donald Trump
I'm not the one making this decision.
Bill O'Reilly
So that is the key. Trump says he's not making the decision. He's leaving it to his legal counsel. But he should have explained it the way I just did. If they can prove that Garcia's MS.13, he comes under the executive order of the terrorist group, and the Supreme Court would have to reverse its. Facilitate him back or you would think they would. That's what's going on. But President Trump does not explain that. I don't know why. All right, third one is revenge. And we've gone over this, and this is interesting, and I think Moran was perfectly in his rise to raise it. Go now.
Terry Moran
And I'm asking the justification for going after people you don't like.
Donald Trump
No, no. People that I think are dishonest. It's not that I don't. I don't even know most of them. They have people that.
Terry Moran
I think people made you angry.
Donald Trump
No, it's not anger. These are people that I think are very dishonest. I don't think they're worthy of being able to go into top secret information. I think that's fine. And Biden did that with many of our people. But when you look at it, these are people that I don't think are worthy. That's my decision. It's not a question of anger.
Bill O'Reilly
That was a very good answer because I would do the same thing. Okay. If somebody attacked me, tried to hurt my family, and I believe was dishonest in the attack and still held the position of power, like Letitia James, the Attorney General in New York, I go after him because they'll do it again not just to me but other people. Misuse of power. I rely on physical precious metals like gold and silver to protect my savings. And the only company I trust is American Hartford Gold. Of course, he'll never get any credit for it, but it was so that was it for the interview. If you didn't see it, you don't have to watch it. Those are the highlights again. We'll be on tonight their own interview on NewsNation, 8:00. And that's the memo. Here's a very dishonest poll. This is fascinating. It was printed in Axios, which is a political website, and it was conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute. Public Religion research institute. Okay. 5025 US adults the institute says it polled and the polling is gender is 50, 50 Democrat 32 Republican 32 independent, 35. All that's fair. Here's question number one. President Trump is a strong leader who should be given the power he needs to restore America's greatness or President Trump is a dangerous dictator. His power should be limited before he destroys American democracy. Select one statement. The one about strong leader given power. 44% agree. The one about dangerous dictator. 52% agree. Second question. President Trump has overstepped his authority by ordering the mass firings of federal employees across multiple agencies. Agree. 55% disagree. 41. Okay, so that poll then goes out to Jimmy Kimmel, the Atlantic Media, I ate Huffington Post, the Independent, Vanity Fair, Daily Beast, all left wing. And they go, oh, look at this boy. The Americans think he's a dictator. Oh. So I said to my crack staff, let's investigate this Public Religion Research Institute. All right. Where do they get their money to do all this?
Lowe's Advertiser
Whoa.
Bill O'Reilly
How about George Soros? Soros funds it through the Open Society Foundation, Carnegie Corporation, New York. Another far left. And Henry Luce Foundation. Far, far, far, far left. And there's 10 others. All their money comes from radical left foundations. Is that reported in the poll? No. Oh, what? You know, you see the dishonesty that we live in here in this country right now. Okay, I'm glad you're with us because we're going to expose it all. Now. The other polls indicate that Donald Trump is losing support because of the terror. People are scared. And that is true, in my opinion. Okay. They're scared. And his job approval numbers are falling again. My analysis is if the stock market goes up, then the job approval numbers will go up, but nobody knows if that's going to happen or if prices are going to be lower or jobs. You know, there's a lot of companies now, and I know this to be true, aren't hiring anybody because they don't know how this is all going to come out with the tariffs and they're not hiring. That's going to suppress an expansion of the economy. So. Joining us now from New York City is Rob Finnerty. Was his own program on Newsmax, 8pm Called Finnerty Now. I think the show should be called McGillicuddy just so you're not redundant. Hi, welcome to Finner Finnerty. I'm Rob Finnerty, but McGillicuddy, it's another Irish guy, but he doesn't have anything to do with the show, so. Okay. Thanks for helping us out tonight. Rob, what about to see you, Bill.
Rob Finnerty
Thanks for having me.
Bill O'Reilly
I figure about 30% of Maga people, no matter what Donald Trump does, is gonna, they'll be fine with it. If it's Great Depression, they'll be fine with it. You know, they just love him so much. It's a cult. But conservative people or people who supported Donald Trump. Do you see the reaction to your program and reaction to Newsmax Network, which is favorable to Donald Trump? Do you see any backlash?
Rob Finnerty
So I think there is the tariffs. I think Donald Trump, the approach could have been a little softer, but softer touch and Donald Trump don't collide in the same sentence very often. Donald Trump and tidal wave, I think collide more often. So the way that Donald Trump went about this, probably not the most effective. And I think there is a limit to MAGA goodwill. Even when we're Talking about the 30% that you say would be behind Donald Trump, even if it was 1929 all over again, I don't know about that. But I do think that if the market continues to go down, look, the Dow is at it's over 40,000 today. The s and P is way down from where it was after the election, November, December, the NASDAQ's right around 17,000. It's been a good week so far on Wall street. If that continues. I do think that his approval rating goes up. But I do think Bill, there is a correlation between the five polls that came out on Sunday and then Donald Trump marking his 100th day in office yesterday.
Bill O'Reilly
And what's the correlation?
Rob Finnerty
Well, I think it was targeted. I think you look at the people that did the polling, abc, cnn, cbs, NBC, the Washington.
Bill O'Reilly
But a lot of them come out on, a lot of them come out on on Tuesday. But I wouldn't argue with that. I mean, these are not organizations that want Donald Trump to succeed. Everybody knows that. But the numbers are the numbers. And all five polls show a stark decline in job approval for Donald Trump. Now he on a few times that he's addressed it. I might get into it with him tonight, thinks it's fake news and he doesn't trust the polls. Do you feel that has any validity?
Rob Finnerty
The polling wasn't good. I don't believe. MRC Media Research center came out with a study on Tuesday that found that 92% of the Trump coverage through his first 100 days has been negative. 92%. Now you were part of the dominant media for a long, long time. The legacy media is dying. They're not dead yet. If the coverage is 92% negative, that is going to impact the way people feel. Yeah, but Donald Trump and people in his administration, come on.
Bill O'Reilly
The coverage is 92% negative when he was running against Kamala Harris and he won in a fairly convincing fashion. So I'm not buying that for a second, I think people are looking at their 401ks and they're going, I'm shocked because they didn't, they weren't prepared. Trump administration did not prepare anybody for what might happen if you disrupt capitalism and slap tariffs on every country in the world. I didn't get a heads up. Did you get a heads up that what bad things might happen?
Rob Finnerty
Well, I would say to that, and I'm not a Trump sycophant, but I would say that we didn't hear a lot from the dominant media when Joe Biden was president.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but that's. What about, look, Joe Biden.
Rob Finnerty
Well, but Bill. But Bill, the reason I say it is because gas prices, inflation rates, mortgage rates, egg prices, grocery prices, aggregate are down over the last 100 days. Inflation at one point was over 9%. June 2022. The national average for gas under Joe Biden at one point, the highest we've ever seen over $5 a gallon nationally. I mean, those days are over. But we seem to have a really short memory if we're going to start criticizing this administration. That's what I'm saying.
Bill O'Reilly
Every population in the world has a short memory and it's even worse than you make it out. At the same time, all of these bad things were happening to the American people in the economic realm. Biden was saying Bidenomics is working. How absurd is that? He was actually saying, oh, no, no, no, everything's fine. You don't believe your own eyes. Trump doesn't say that. Trump just says, I don't believe the polls and all that. And I think the polls are accurate. But Americans don't. They're not introspective. They're not looking back, they're not historians. They're saying, I'm getting hurt. I wasn't prepared to get hurt, and now I'm mad. So I'm gonna give him a bad number. That's what's happening. Right.
Rob Finnerty
His approval rating is probably somewhere right in the middle. It's probably the aggregate of those five polls. We had Jim McLaughlin on Finnerty a couple nights ago. McGillicuddy, sorry. And he said that his polling has him just under 50% between 48 and, and 50%.
Bill O'Reilly
And he's accurate. He's very good.
Rob Finnerty
Yeah, John and Jim are good. And Bill, who really knows? But it is sort of semantics when it comes to these polls. After January 6, 2021, Donald Trump was 31%. He's president of the United States today. So I don't know how much I.
Bill O'Reilly
Really care what the polls say this you will care in late autumn or if the economy does demonstrably go down, because that'll be the end of Donald Trump.

Excludes Hawaii on a midterm scale. One other subject I can tell because I've been in this business 50 years when Donald Trump is in trouble with his supporters, not the detractors. He's always in trouble with. That by the television ratings. This is fascinating. So I see the television ratings. I see McGillicuddy every night. Okay. And what you do and what everybody else does in the news arena, I see them every day. And when Trump is victorious on something, they surge. The ratings surge. When he's not doing so well, they go down because people don't want to hear about it. And that's what's happening right now, that the cable news ratings are declining fairly significantly for Fox Newsmax somewhat, but not as bad as Fox and the others. MSNBC's picked up a little bit because people, you know, go in for the Trump is the devil every night. But you can look at those numbers and almost take the temperature of Trump supporters. Last word?
Rob Finnerty
Yeah, I would say you're right. Stock market, particularly. Two weeks ago we had a challenging week in the ratings. And I think there's a correlation between what was going on on Wall street and people tuning in. They don't want to hear bad news. They don't want to hear MAGA bad news.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, Rob Frinity, you can catch him on Newsmax at 8pm Monday through Friday. Appreciate it, Rob. Thanks for having me.
Rob Finnerty
Thanks, Bill.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay. Military recruitment, very underreported story. You remember during the Biden administration that none of the branches of the armed services were meeting their recruiting. Well, overall, since Trump has been elected or fiscal year 2025, so far, recruitment is up 28% and all of the services are meeting or exceeding what they want. Army is up 30%, Navy 42%, Marines 9%, Air Force 18%. Okay, so the fact that Donald Trump is commander in chief has apparently spurred military recruitment, but the media doesn't report it. Did you know that? If any of you knew that? And I'm not talking about the people that are embedded in the military, but just civilians. You guys bill it. Bill O'Reilly.com bill@billorilly.com tell me where you heard it. Tell me where you learned that. I'd be very interested to know. All right. Trump mediation with CBS Paramount begins today. There will be a settlement. I predict, I predicted that for weeks because Paramount got to sell CBS to Skydance. And I can't do it unless the Trump administration signs off on it. So the fix is in. Trump will get another 15 million for his library. But I'll keep you posted on that. Okay, now here's an interesting culture story. Remember, Donald Trump's trying to do three things proactively. That's what I said on my message of the day on BillORiley.com this morning. He wants to change the economic culture, the capitalism that we are practicing. And that's gotten him into some trouble. He wants to change the liberal woke culture in America, okay, that he's kind of winning on. And he wants to change immigration, which is his big victory. So two out of the three massive changes in 100 days, a lot. Okay. As everybody knows. So now New York City has an annual pride march. That's for gays. It's their day. They march down Fifth Avenue or Sixth Avenue, whatever it may be. And corporation sponsor. But now the corporations, some of them are pulling out of the gay Pride parade. Those who said no more money, MasterCard, Pepsi, Nissan, Citibank, Pricewaterhouse, Comcast, Comcast is MSNBC, NBC. They're pulling out, okay? And they're afraid. They're afraid if they fund the, you know, this kind of woke stuff that Trump might hurt him. Now, I don't have any problem with the gay Pride parade as long as the people parading don't scandalize children, which some of them do. Let's be honest here. If you've been to that parade or seen on television, some of those people, they gross out kids. No. But the theme of being proud of who you are and is A good thing. Okay, and, but this shows you how cowardly companies are. I mean, really. Oh, boy. All right. Anti Semitic reports. Now this comes from the Anti Defamation League, the adl. I've had my problems with this outfit. It's to their benefit that anti Semitism grows. You know, it's a double edged sword. They get more money when there's a bigger problem, but they are sincere in trying to protect Jews, there's no doubt about it. Adl, they go about it sometimes in a very heavy hand though. So here is the, here are the stats. Anti Semitism incidents in the USA have reached a 45 year high. Okay. And they're growing about 5% each year, about 900% over the past 10 years. That's a big number. Last year, about 9354 cases of vandalism, harassment, assault against Jews. It's a big number, mostly in the urban areas. And the ADL wants to get it out there. Now. Why is this happening? It's because the far left, which controls academia, many college campuses are controlled by far left zealots and controls New York City's council. A lot of cities, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Baltimore, they're controlled by the far left. The far left, 100%, everyone. You can't be far left if you don't hate Israel. That's one of the things you have to be for abortion and promote it is a good thing. And you have to hate Israel and a few other things. You have to hate Trump. Okay, so when you have the far left hating Israel, particularly on college campuses, you're going to have those incidents rise. There's no doubt. And that's why it's happening, just so you are informed. Smart Life, this is a riot. So the University of Nottingham in the UK at Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood, all that stuff, they did a study on Generation Z, that's 13 to 28 year olds. All right, Generation Z. And they find that many of them are struggling with telephobia. I love this. They're afraid to talk on the telephone. Why? Because they have anxiety due to lack of visual feedback and they don't know what to say on the phone because they're texting all the time, so it kind of makes sense. So they, they have telephobia. Now why did I put this in the Smart Life segment? Because there is a way to speak to people and many, many human beings, Americans, Brits, whatever, don't know what that is.

At an event last night, big dog and pony show for Nextar, which owns News Nation and CW. And I talked to at least 100 people because they just want to, you know, say hello and all of that. When you talk to somebody, smart life, you look them in the eye. You don't stare at them like this, but you look them in the eye and you give a little smile. Hi, nice to meet you. With my I always try to control the conversation. They say, oh, we love your work or this and that. Nobody's mean, nobody's rude. And I say, thank you very much. Where are you from? That is my opening question to almost everybody. Where do you live? Where are you from? Because when they tell me that I know something usually about that place, okay, so somebody says, well, I live in Manhattan Beach, California. I go, do you go to the Shellback Tavern? Oh yeah. So immediately I'm forming a bond with who I'm speaking to. Okay, Because I'm asking them. You do that. It's easy. Where are you from? Or if you're in the context of anything, where they have a shirt. That's why we have the not woke shirts and the hats. Because people come up and go, oh, where'd you get that? And start a conversation. Now is that important? It is important. You want to be accessible to people because people can help you. That's not a using thing. You just want to be accessible to your neighbors and people that you meet. And it's easy. It's so easy. But these younger Americans, Gen Z, and they have no blanking Clue how to talk to people. They don't look at it. I mean, my kids, you look them in the eye, you know, you're looking down here and mumble, Speak clearly, speak up. But keep it light. Keep it light. And, you know, I can't tell you how easy it is. And if you do it, you'll have a better life. That's what the Smart Life segment is all about. Talker research. Pretty good. 2000 employed Americans about their money. Now, I don't believe this. First stat, and I could be wrong. 74% of those working in America are living paycheck to paycheck. I don't believe that. The reason I don't believe it is because a lot of us who work, we have money taken out of our pay to go into 401ks and other things, insurance, whatever it may be. I don't believe that 74% of American workers don't have enough money to. To save a little bit. I think the number is 50. 50% of Americans are in dire shape financially. Okay. But that's a number that talker research coming out. 73% of Gen Z, again, 13 to 28, are looking for other jobs. And 70% of millennials, 29, 44 are looking for other jobs. They want to change their jobs or their careers, mainly because they're not making enough money. That's good. That's good. You know, when I got fed up with a job, I got another one, a better one. That's a good thing. Now, sometimes you can't. I could move. I was single, so I could go and. But sometimes you're, you know, you got kids and a wife and a house, but you can always look for another job, a better circumstance. Don't just sit there and take it, but you gotta be smart. Stay in history. Three years ago, April 30, 2022, Naomi Judd committed suicide. Ms. Judd, of course, country music star with her daughter Wynonna. Roll the tape. Mama, he's crazy Crazy and in my life is where he stays he always wants to be I've never been so love he beats all I've ever seen Mama, he's crazy he's crazy over me So I knew me Judd, and I liked her a lot. She was a very nice person. And ever, whenever she came to New York, she lived in Tennessee, outside of Nashville. You know, we get together for lunch and I really, really felt bad for her because she had tremendous emotional problems. She was on medication, all of that. At 76, finally, she had had enough. And that was it. And I always think to myself, could I have done any more? And the answer is no. I mean, I corresponded with her when she came to New York. We had nice conversations and it was an amazing story. I mean, she was born into poverty in Kentucky and rose out of that became a nurse and then a fabulous singer. And then her two daughters are in show business, as you know, and they are very successful. And she did it on her own. Naomi didn't have anybody helping her. And I really respected that. So three years ago today she died. But we remember Naomi Judd. Okay. And we'll be back with what we're going to do tomorrow in a moment. All right, final thought. Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News and Analysis
Episode: ABC News' Disaster Interview With President Trump, Rob Finnerty on MAGA and the Economy & Why Antisemitism Is Surging on College Campuses
Release Date: May 1, 2025
In this episode of "Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News and Analysis," host Bill O'Reilly delves into the tumultuous ABC News interview with President Donald Trump, examines the state of the economy and MAGA movement through a discussion with Rob Finnerty, and addresses the concerning rise of antisemitism on college campuses. The episode is packed with insightful analysis, critical evaluations of media practices, and reflections on current cultural and political issues.
Bill O'Reilly begins by critiquing the ABC News interview conducted by Terry Moran. He characterizes the interview as a "fiasco," pointing out Moran's inability to effectively question President Trump without allowing the president to reiterate familiar talking points.
Bill O'Reilly [01:11]: "The ABC News interview in primetime last night was a fiasco. And I hate to criticize my peers unless they're dishonest. And Terry Moran, the interview guy on ABC was not dishonest, but he had no idea how to interview Donald Trump because you can't ask open-ended questions to let the president filibuster and say the same things he said 10 million times before."
O'Reilly contrasts his own upcoming two-hour town hall on News Nation, where he claims to have more control over the interview flow, ensuring that President Trump cannot dominate the conversation as he did with Moran.
The conversation shifts to President Trump's tariff policies, highlighting the uncertainty and economic impact they are causing.
Bill O'Reilly [03:17]: "Terry Moran had somebody write the questions for him. He probably had a few of his own. But that's not what these interviews are about. They're collective. Nobody tells me what to ask and I don't tell anybody what I'm going to ask."
O'Reilly expresses cautious optimism about the potential positive effects of tariffs on the economy, though he acknowledges the unpredictability of their outcomes.
Bill O'Reilly [03:45]: "The president believes what he wants to believe, and he wants to believe it's all going to turn out fine. But the truth is nobody knows how it's going to turn out because you got China and a lot of other things that are intersecting."
A significant portion of the interview focuses on immigration, specifically the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran man deported to El Salvador amid claims of gang affiliation.
Bill O'Reilly [05:22]: "The Supreme Court has ruled that the Trump administration should expedite his return to the USA... The President signed an executive order designating MS-13 as a terrorist organization."
O'Reilly argues that media portrayal has unfairly demonized Garcia, asserting that evidence against him is being suppressed.
Bill O'Reilly [07:55]: "It's extremely important for you to understand... The odds are that the tattoo thing is not going to be used in evidence against Garcia."
O'Reilly addresses allegations that the Trump administration targets individuals out of personal animosity, which he refutes by emphasizing the importance of integrity in leadership.
Donald Trump [10:33]: "These are people that I think are very dishonest... It’s my decision. It’s not a question of anger."
Bill O'Reilly [11:02]: "That was a very good answer because I would do the same thing."
O'Reilly scrutinizes a poll conducted by the Public Religion Research Institute, questioning its legitimacy and highlighting its funding sources.
Bill O'Reilly [15:20]: "All their money comes from radical left foundations. Is that reported in the poll? No."
He argues that the poll's negative portrayal of Trump is influenced by biased funding, undermining its credibility.
Discussing broader media influence, O'Reilly suggests that dominant media outlets contribute to declining approval ratings for Trump by maintaining a predominantly negative narrative.
Bill O'Reilly [19:26]: "The coverage is 92% negative when he was running against Kamala Harris and he won in a fairly convincing fashion."
O'Reilly engages in a conversation with Rob Finnerty, co-host of "Finnerty Now" on Newsmax, discussing Trump's approval ratings and economic strategies. Finnerty acknowledges the correlation between negative media coverage and Trump's approval but remains optimistic about the administration's policies.
Rob Finnerty [19:57]: "Donald Trump and people in his administration... come on."
The discussion touches on the stock market’s performance and its potential influence on Trump's approval ratings. Finnerty notes that good weeks on Wall Street could bolster support, while economic downturns might harm it.
Rob Finnerty [20:32]: "Inflation rates, mortgage rates... are down over the last 100 days."
O'Reilly highlights a positive aspect of Trump's presidency: the significant increase in military recruitment since his election.
Bill O'Reilly [25:11]: "Overall, since Trump has been elected or fiscal year 2025, so far, recruitment is up 28% and all of the services are meeting or exceeding what they want."
Finnerty adds that negative media coverage adversely affects public perception and support for Trump’s policies.
Rob Finnerty [17:44]: "There is a correlation between what was going on on Wall street and people tuning in."
O'Reilly addresses the issue of major corporations withdrawing support from Pride parades, suggesting fear of backlash from Trump's administration as the primary reason.
Bill O'Reilly [23:36]: "Corporations... are pulling out of the gay Pride parade... They're afraid if they fund... woke stuff that Trump might hurt them."
The episode shifts focus to the alarming rise in antisemitic incidents, as reported by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). O'Reilly attributes this surge to the influence of the far-left on academic institutions.
Bill O'Reilly [28:10]: "Anti Semitism incidents in the USA have reached a 45 year high... the far left controls academia... they're going to have those incidents rise."
He criticizes the ADL for potentially benefiting from the increase in antisemitism by garnering more support and funding.
Bill O'Reilly [28:25]: "They get more money when there's a bigger problem, but they are sincere in trying to protect Jews, there's no doubt about it."
O'Reilly introduces the "Smart Life" segment, discussing a study by the University of Nottingham that highlights a growing fear of telephone communication among Generation Z. He emphasizes the importance of effective communication skills in the modern age.
Bill O'Reilly [31:41]: "Generation Z... are struggling with telephobia... they have anxiety due to lack of visual feedback and they don't know what to say on the phone because they're texting all the time."
O'Reilly offers practical advice on improving interpersonal communication, advocating for direct eye contact and clear speech.
In a heartfelt segment, O'Reilly reflects on the suicide of country music star Naomi Judd, sharing personal memories and expressing empathy for her struggles.
Bill O'Reilly [03:00]: "Naomi Judd... she was born into poverty in Kentucky and rose out of that... she did it on her own. And I really respected that."
He poignantly recounts his interactions with Judd, underscoring the personal impact of her loss.
Bill O'Reilly [32:09]: "I corresponded with her when she came to New York... she had tremendous emotional problems."
Concluding the episode, O'Reilly teases the upcoming town hall featuring President Trump, promising a dynamic and engaging discussion. He reiterates his commitment to providing unfiltered and substantive analysis on News Nation.
Bill O'Reilly [32:43]: "Isn't going to be boring. And then tomorrow we'll take out the highlights and go through it on No Spin News."
O'Reilly encourages listeners to tune in to the live event, emphasizing the unique perspective he brings compared to other media outlets.
