Bill O'Reilly
Foreign Bill O'Reilly here. Thanks for watching the no Spin News. Thursday, November 13, 2025. Stand up for your country. I've been dealing with a lot of craziness this week. Here is my definition of craziness. When you present in a very clear, straightforward way facts to someone and that someone doesn't care, doesn't change their position, doesn't cede anything, that's crazy. I try to stay away from that because it just sucks the living life out of you. If I know somebody is troubled and you are, if you won't accept facts, you're troubled because there's a reason. So you want to live in a false world or you get too upset. I don't know the whole bunch of stuff, but if I know somebody is in that category, I'm not going to deal with them. Why would I do that? It's a waste of time. Now, I'm going to give you a few vivid examples of craziness tonight, and I hope it will help your life. And one of those examples is the government shut down. That is the subject of this evening's Talking points memo. After 43 days, the House voted last night 222 to 209 to open up the government. Six Democrats crossed over Swazi, New York, Perez, Washington, Quailard, Texas, Davis, North Carolina, Golden, Maine, Gray, California. Two Republicans defected, Massie of Kentucky and Stubby of Florida, Gray, Reese, Stubby, okay. So by capitulating to the Republicans. And what do I mean by that? Well, Democrats whole thing was we're not going to open the government until you allow the COVID led level spending for Obamacare. And the Republicans said no, by law that spending has to come back down because it's crazy anyway. And we have a $38 trillion debt. So you're not going to blackmail us into closing the government to get subsidies you're not entitled to. It was never a chance Republicans would cave to that. Never. And the Democrats knew it. So the government shut down. Here's what I said on News Nation last night. So on the record, I don't care about the complaint. Who cares what they say? On the record is we, the Democratic Party shut down the United states government for 43 days and got bupkits. That's pretty embarrassing. And I think. Right. Isn't that embarrassing? Well, I mean, yes, Bill, it's embarrassing if you're looking at it from the macro. If you're somebody that's just paying attention to the final result. But what other result is there? So both of my colleagues cuomo and Stephen A. Were saying, well, now the country's more aware of spending on health care, okay? Millions of people have to suffer for that. Come on. I mean, any government policy that hurts the people has to be reexamined, okay? Now the Democrats may have won a small victory last week in the Guberturo race in New Jersey. It was never in play in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Companies ran a bad candidate and it was never even close. But New Jersey was kind of close, quoting the polls. And then Mandani wasn't close either in New York City. But the Democrats are saying, well, people were angry. And that's true, absolutely true. People are angry about high prices and they were angry about the government shutdown. And when Americans get angry, non ideological Americans who's not involved in party politics, they vote against the incumbency. John Adams started with John Adams. People were teed off about Adams and they elected Jefferson because Adams a little arrogant and haughty and did some stuff that people go and it hold it. It's always that way. So the Democrats might have won that, but again, overall they were embarrassing. It was absolutely embarrassing. So you've got a situation where the press, the corrupt media supports The Democrats about 80% even they couldn't make this a victory for the Dems. They tried. They couldn't do it. And that's the memo. So to cover that defeat, the Epstein situation arises on the same day. Everybody knows what that is. So let's deflect over to Epstein. Since President Trump was inaugurated in January, Democratic Party has tried to smear him with Epstein, try to tie Mr. Trump to crimes that Jeffrey Epstein committed. They do it every day, all day. That's what they want to do. There is no evidence that that happened. None. Okay. So Democrats on the House Committee on Oversight leak some emails out to the press and the press goes nuts. I looked at the emails. Nothing there. There's just nothing there. And even worse, there is innuendo that could get people hurt. That was always from the very beginning that President Trump asked me on St. Patrick's Day at the Oval Office, would you release the files? And I said, yeah, if they're verified. But if they're not verified, if it's rumor or you haven't, Justice Department hasn't nailed down, remember two justice departments, Merrick Garland and Trump won William Barr. Those things been investigated like crazy. Okay? So I said, if there's evidence that somebody was hanging with Epstein, got put up, but if there's just a rumor, no people get hurt. Okay? So they throw this stuff out. And again, I'm on News Nation. Here's what I said. If you are asking for unverified information about a heinous crime and criminal to be given to the public. Unverified. Now remember, the Justice Department under two administrations had this information not verified. If that's what you want, then you need to read my book, Killing the Witches, because that's the kind of. But that's not what they want. Will have. No, that is what they want. They want. They being the Trump haters. All of everything the Justice Department has on Jeffrey Epstein and Cuomo to his credit at the end of the segment, said, I want everything. I said, well, what if people get hurt? Innocent people? No, we ought to know. How do you know? You can't know. You can't investigate it. I'm right on this. But the bigger picture is that due process is really under fire in this country. Okay? Now, whether you care or not, there is exculpatory evidence in Donald Trump's favor and it's very powerful evidence. The three principals involved with Epstein who committed suicide, as you know, were Ghislaine Maxwell, Virginia Giuffre, who was molested, and Alan Dershowitz, who was Epstein's lawyer. They are the three principal witnesses to what Epstein did. Okay? All three said Trump wasn't involved with anything untoward. All three. Now that's enough reasonable doubt. That will never get to court in any way, shape or form. That gets thrown out in 10 seconds when you have three people on the record who had access to Epstein, all saying Trump didn't do anything. All right, now Dershowitz is the most powerful witness because once Epstein was dead, then attorney client privilege disappears. Here's what Dershowitz said yesterday. Let's face it, the US Economy is under stress, national debt rising, trade war shaking the markets, and meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. Phil Balboni
That's what I'm supposed to do.
Bill O'Reilly
And among the questions I asked him, as any lawyer would, is can you name people who may have had improper sexual relationships with. With anybody? And if we can turn those people over to the government, we can maybe get you a better deal. And then I went through a variety of names, including Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein said, no, Trump didn't do anything wrong. All right, so what more do you need? Doesn't matter. The press ran wild last night. Okay? ABC World News Tonight spent 4 minutes, 23 seconds on the story. NBC Nightly News, 4 minutes, 2034 seconds. CBS TV News, 2 minutes, 7 seconds. Cable. These are estimates on cable because you have a three hour prime window, prime time. Cnn, one hour and ten minutes out of the three. Msnbc, a whopping two hours, nine minutes. Fox News spent five minutes on it. Okay? So this is just crazy, but it gets worse. So there's a congresswoman from New Mexico named Melanie Stansberry. Roll it.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Secondly, whether or not Virginia Giuffre has accused the President of wrongdoing, what I'd like to say to the American people is believe your eyes. We have all seen the photographs of Donald Trump with underage girls sitting on his lap.
Bill O'Reilly
There are no photographs of Donald Trump with girls on his lap. So either Congressman Stansberry is lying or she got faked out by some AI thing or whatever. There are no photographs. Now the House Ethics Committee should absolutely drag her in and say, what the deuce are you doing? Second, a guy named Rick Stengel, Trump hater, okay? Who used to be a journalist then he was A Democrat, whatever, roll him. I mean, the idea that he calls it a hoax and all day long people can watch on television, them leering at girls at parties and things. It's like, well, gee, that's not a hoax. So I think it has legs and it should. And it is the sort of thing that could undermine the basis of his presidency. Again, it's not true. There's no evidence of the President leering at anybody. Now, you would think that the news agencies that put these people on CNN and MSNBC would challenge now because they don't care what happened. They want to get Trump. Finally, there was a very disturbing X file from Eric Swalwell. You may remember that name. He probably the worst Trump hater in the country, represents California. He says, quote, the government was shut down for 40 plus days to protect Donald Trump. People weren't paid, credit was destroyed, tenants were evicted, all because pedo protector Mike Johnson sought to shield Donald Trump. But it's coming out now. Pray for these women Trump Epstein terrorized. Now, if I'm Donald Trump, and that goes out on X, I sue Swalwell. But do I win? So herein is the complication of living in the United States of America. Joining us now, Rebecca Rose Woodland. She is a New York attorney, very well thought of, been on this program before. So I come to you, counselor, and I say, Swalwell just said, I terrorized underage women. I got a lawsuit.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Of course you do. I mean, look, first we're looking at the President of the United States. So the standard for defamation, which this would be, is actual malice. It's a Supreme Court case against the New York Times, against Sullivan, where when you're a public figure, that that which is published has to be proven to have been knowingly said or written in a false way or with reckless disregard for the truth. Both apply here. There's nothing in any of these emails that indicate President Trump terrorized one to any women. Nothing at all.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, well, let me stop you there. Reckless disregard for the truth would probably have to be the standard because Swalwell would say, oh, I heard. I didn't. I went mal. You could prove Swalwell hates Trump. That's easy. He's been hating Trump for 10 years. But reckless disregard for the truth. Let's go back to the New Mexico congresswoman who says there's a picture. There isn't a picture. Is that reckless disregard for the truth?
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Well, the defense to defamation is absolute truth. So the Mexican congresswoman. I'm sorry, the congresswoman from New Mexico would Have to show these photos. And what do the photos suggest? If there's a photo of his grandchild sitting on his lap, what's wrong with that? So we are talking about now a situation where she's implying these were sexual photos of underage women. So she would have to show sexually explicit photos of underage women on Donald Trump's lap.
Bill O'Reilly
She can't show that.
Phil Balboni
Of course not.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Because if we, if that was happening, we would have seen that already.
Bill O'Reilly
But she can say. Here's what you can say. Oh, I saw it on the social media and it was probably AI, but I didn't know.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Well, no, you have to. You have to. To say something like this against a sitting president or anyone in the public realm, you have to have belief that it is true. If you're just relying on something in social media, that is not enough. That is not enough. This has to be, you know, credentialed information, information that you sourced that you know for sure is real. Like I said, an underage woman sitting on Donald Trump's lap, it could be his grandchild.
Bill O'Reilly
Now, so you're saying that the burden of the case falls on the accuser. But that hasn't been the standard in America. If you're a famous person in the public eye, you don't have those protections.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Well, you have the protection of this New York Times versus Sullivan case, that if there is actual malice and if Donald Trump can prove, which he may be able to, that the congresswoman has malice towards him, intentionally stated things in such a way that that would create misconceptions. That is intentional disregard for the truth. Okay, you cannot spin.
Bill O'Reilly
I know what.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
They're trying to make it sound bad.
Bill O'Reilly
So how about CNN and msnbc? That puts these people on. They know the networks know what they're going to say because that's always done there. It's called a POV point of view. They know they're going to come on and rip Trump up. Can you drag them into court in the same case?
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Sure. For actual statements, not just overall. They have the right, we have a First Amendment right to have beliefs about the president that don't align with the president, but on specific statements that are knowingly stated incorrectly. False statements or what?
Bill O'Reilly
They didn't make them. The guest made them.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Well, then the guest can be brought into court.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay, we've established that, Counselor. My question is, can you then drag CNN in a separate lawsuit or msnbc, sue them as well as the perpetrators of what was said, like on X. That's where Swalwell put This garbage. Can you drag X?
Rebecca Rose Woodland
Well, we can't drag X in because X did not make the statement. They just allow for a form of interaction the same way they allow other views. If there was evidence, though, that MSNBC or CNN knowingly contributed to these statements, that the host or brass, network brass were encouraging statements like that, if there.
Bill O'Reilly
Are emails, you're not going to get that right. So they, under the First Amendment, the CNN and MSNBC would be protected because it wasn't their personnel saying it. Do I have it right? Yes.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
I mean, but we did see with, you know, ABC and the situation that happened where one of their hosts stated that President Trump was a rapist.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah, that's right. But that he worked for abc.

Bill O'Reilly
Hey, it's Sean Spicer reminding you to tune in to the Sean Spicer show every weeknight right here. You're not going to want to miss our analysis, whether it's the media, politics, campaigns, the upcoming midterms, Supreme Court rulings. We've got it all covered for you with the best guests in politics, the pundits, the pollsters, members of the House of Representatives, members of the Senate, candidates running for both, and key members of President Trump's administration. You're not going to want to miss it. And these people don't work, they're just guests. There was a difference. Right. All right, Council, I think I have it. If it were me, I would absolutely bring lawsuit in this case. Outrageous. Okay, let's go to Chicago Midway blitz in September. Federal authorities have been there rounding up criminal migrants. They say opposite, the opponents of this say, well, they're getting every migrant and all of that Some interesting stats dropped. Okay. Since Operation Blitz has been underway in Chicago, homicides are down 16%. Shootings down 35%. Lowest rate in four years. Robberies down 41%. Carjackings down 48%. Transit crime down 20%. So same thing happened in D.C. same exact thing happened in Chicago. The federal presence crime drops. Is Chicago care. No. Pritzker care. The governor of Illinois? No. Okay. However, in this case, there's a Judge Jeffrey Cummings, appointed by Biden, all right, who says that ICE, Homeland Security has to release 300 migrants that are being held, okay, because they were rounded up without warrants, didn't have a judge's order of deportation. So these 300 were caught in proximity of criminal aliens and ISIS swept them up. So they have to be released. But there's an interesting wrinkle to this. The court can order ankle monitoring and bail. They got to put up money, which most of them were not going to be able to do. But anyway, that we don't know if the government's going to appeal or not. But that's the latest. In Chicago, Gavin Newsom, widely thought to be the front runner in the Democratic party for president. 28. I was on Clay and Buck today. I made a bet with the guy that that would not happen. We have it posted on bill o'reilly.com. i don't think Newsom is going to make it anyway. His chief of staff has been arrested. Dana Williamson, charged with appropriating, misappropriating $225,000 in donated cash. There's Dana. Doesn't look too happy in that photo. There's a lot of serious charges here. Bank fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy to defraud, obstruct justice, false tax returns. Now this woman, while she was allegedly doing this, and she deserves due process, was a chief of staff to Newsom. I'm telling you a lot of lot of stuff about this. Seattle elects a socialist mayor. So it's not just New York City that's got these loons running around. Katie Wilson. No background, really. She beats the incumbent, Bruce Harrell. And Katie wants real hardcore socialism imposed on the city of Seattle. Roll the tape.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
We will also ensure that companies offer.
Bill O'Reilly
Fair sounds to customers. Companies should not be locking discounts behind smartphones, making them inaccessible to elderly and low income shoppers.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
And as we build new housing throughout.
Bill O'Reilly
Our city, we will lay the foundations.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
For food security with grocery oriented development.
Bill O'Reilly
Zones, or gods, if you will. We will pair full service grocery stores.
Rebecca Rose Woodland
With workforce housing, dedicating some of those units for those who rely On SNAP and wic.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay? WIC is a entitlement that gives support, money and cash to women and children who are poor. So what this one is saying is that we're going to give you a house, we're going to give you food, free. We're going to tie the two together. And in order to do that, we're going to tax everybody on a capital gains. It's capital gains tax the feds and the state. Now she's saying city of Seattle is going to have it. Okay, so there's Katie. You guys out in Seattle, you deserve it. That town is so far left. Beautiful place. I used to love going to Seattle. But you deserve everything you get out there because you have let that city be destroyed. I'm talking to voters, not everybody. I know people voted against her, but come on. All right, Gallup poll. Younger women want to leave the USA. No, no, no, no. Okay, so 40% of women, according to Gallup, 15 to 44, say would move abroad permanently if they had the opportunity. Well, what's stopping you? Go to the Bahamas. All right, you can leave. I don't know who's going to take it, but you could leave. Nobody's going to stop you. Go to Mexico, sneak across the border the other way. Okay, this shows me that this is bogus. If you want to leave the USA, you can leave. Not hard. 90% of men in the same category, 15 to 44, say they want to leave, too. The main countries I want to go to is Canada. It's easy to go there. You just drive on up. New Zealand, Italy and Japan. Japan, you better learn how to speak the language. So if you don't know how to speak Japanese, you're gonna have a hard time. New Zealand, I've never been there. Supposed to be beautiful. Italy, just the food alone. Okay, let's bring in our guest now. I think this is a time for Phil Balboni to appear. So you know him? We've had him on a couple of times before. He is our foreign policy guy. All right. And he and I go way back to the first time I did commentary was at WCVB TV in Boston, and Balboni was the news director. And I think he had a heart attack. But now he runs Global Post Media, and that is our foreign policy go to operation. So you want to know why I'm so smart about foreign policy? Because I read them every morning. He joins us now from Cambridge, Massachusetts. So that was quite the lead in Balboni, right? Did I get. Nailed it.
Phil Balboni
It was indeed, Bill. So Good to see you and hear from you again. How are you?
Bill O'Reilly
I'm the same, which is tragic for everybody. But I want to talk about your coverage, your foreign coverage. So I've noticed on the Global Post website, which I get every morning, you're doing a lot of African coverage. Why?
Phil Balboni
Well, it's a very important place, believe it or not. And I think the things I particularly wanted to highlight to, to your viewers is the threat of global jihadism, which, believe it or not, has not gone away. And actually, the heartland of jihadism today is really in Africa, right across the continent from West Africa, Central east and Southern Africa. Al Qaeda is still there, Islamic State is there, and there are other groups aligned with them. It's a great threat to this country. And unfortunately, the US has pulled back its military and special ops forces from much of the continent, which is allowing these groups freer reign than they've ever had before. France is big colonial power. In West Africa, they have also withdrawn.
Bill O'Reilly
That's because it's so chaotic in those places. There's no central government, which is why the jihadists are rising. They did the same thing in Somalia. There was recently a big story from President Trump saying, look, in Nigeria, which is an amazingly complex country, not a strong central government, the jihadists are killing Christians, and the Christians in the interior of the country don't have any protection. And Mr. Trump is saying, look, if you're going to stop this, we're going in. How did you assess that story?
Phil Balboni
Well, I mean, I think it's accurate. The Nigeria is, you know, for probably 20 years now, has had a rising problem with Islamist militants in the north of the country, which is primarily Muslim. The Christian population is more in the south of Nigeria and also in the central areas. And it's absolutely true that they have been subject to attack, but so haven't Muslims in the north. So it's really. The government has just failed miserably to get a handle on this problem. Mean there is an army in Nigeria. We have provided support and aid to them, but they have not corrected this problem. And, you know, it is. It is getting worse and it needs to be addressed. Okay, but Nigeria is only one of many countries where these.
Bill O'Reilly
No, but it's an enormous country and Lagos has got the oil and all that. And so it's probably going to be the headline. I don't think Mr. Trump's going to go in there because it's a more ash. You can't get out. You can do special forces and you can do operations, but you just can't too much tribalism. I mean that would be a disaster. You think Afghanistan was bad, Africa is a thousand times worse as far as logistics are concerned. The other stories that you're, you're concentrating on is the debt, the growing global debt. People's eyes glaze over. We owe 38 trillion here. But this debt thing is everywhere, right?
Phil Balboni
Oh, absolutely. I mean the increase in the debt in the United States and around the world is really unprecedented. I mean the total Global debt is 25% higher today than it was even as recently as the COVID 19 pandemic when it was already at an all time high.
Bill O'Reilly
What's the threat there? What's the specific threat with this out of control debt? What could happen?
Phil Balboni
The threat, Bill, and that you have to kind of combine where we are in the stock markets and the high valuations and you know, these crazy numbers being given to technology stocks, AI stocks is that something will trigger a panic, if you will, and that people will head for the exits and it will bring down our economy because we have less ability to address the kind of thing that happened in the Great Recession where the Federal Reserve was able to step in lower interest rates and eventually things are, you know, corrected over a number of years now because the government, the US Government has such enormous debt. The ability to step in and fix a problem that happened in the markets, the financial markets is so much less. I mean the servicing of the United states debt is $1.2 trillion a year, right?
Harry Cole
Yeah.
Bill O'Reilly
And I don't want to inject politics in this, but I have to here. So the Democratic Party though just wants to spend and spend and spend. I mean that's what this government shutdown is all about. We got to spend more, more, more, more, more, more. And you know, I'm sitting here, I'm not a party guy, as you know, but I'm going there's got to get some restraint has got to be put back into USA spending. Am I wrong?
Phil Balboni
No, you're not wrong. I mean common sense, what every average American family knows is there's only one way to get out of a debt problem. You spend less and you have to bring in more income. That's it. That's. Those are the.
Bill O'Reilly
Absolutely.
Phil Balboni
That's the basic kitchen table economics.
Bill O'Reilly
But the American people, they don't see it. I know they don't see it because you couldn't be supporting the Mandanis of the world and all these other. If you did see it. All right, Phil, you have a special for no spin news watchers and listeners what is that special?
Phil Balboni
So for the last year, we've been offering all new subscribers to Global Post, 50% discount for O'Reilly members. They're the only people on the planet that have this opportunity because of our long friendship and relationship.
Bill O'Reilly
Well, thank you. So it's Global Post.
Phil Balboni
We appreciate your support.
Bill O'Reilly
It's a good vehicle. I mean, I'm so busy I don't have time to wade through the propaganda, which is what American media is now. But you guys give it to me straight and that's what I need. So it's globalpost.com if you're an O'Reilly watcher listener, get 50% off a really good deal.
Phil Balboni
Absolutely.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay, Phil, thanks a lot. Really appreciate it, as always. Back in a moment. Final thought. All right. As a final thought, we had a guest on on Veterans Day who lost his legs in Afghanistan and the fund.org had helped him. And I mentioned in the process of the interview, I mentioned that the Independence Fund was we didn't know what the status was. They are still in business. I think they're in North Carolina. Independence Fund still there. So if you want to help the fund, the Independence Fund, all of that. And then we have a birthday. Sally Poling, 96 years old, saw Miller and me at Caesar's Palace, Wildwood, Missouri. Happy birthday, Sally. Enjoy it. Update on podcasts, we got Harry Howie Mandel, November 18th. That'll drop Piers Morgan today. As I mentioned, Clay and Buck today on all that's on billorilly.com okay. Thank you very much for watching and listening to the no Spin News. We have a brand new column on Sunday and we'll see you again on Monday.
Episode: Back in Business? Life After the Government Shutdown, Rebecca Rose Woodland on False Trump-Epstein Accusations & Phil Balboni Warns of Rising Jihadism and Global Debt
Date: November 14, 2025
Host: Bill O’Reilly
Guests: Rebecca Rose Woodland (NY Attorney), Phil Balboni (Global Post Media)
In this episode, Bill O’Reilly examines the final resolution of the 43-day U.S. Government shutdown and its political fallout, then delves deep into the resurgence of Trump-Epstein conspiracy accusations in Congress and the media. Special guests Rebecca Rose Woodland and Phil Balboni join to discuss legal standards for public defamation and urgent global issues including resurgent jihadism and mounting global debt. The tone is classic O’Reilly: combative, skeptical, and relentlessly focused on holding media and politicians to account.
Guest: Rebecca Rose Woodland, Attorney
Guest: Phil Balboni, Global Post Media
The episode retains O’Reilly’s direct and combative style, laced with dry humor (especially at political “craziness”) and blunt assessments of policy and media failures. Guests provide sober expertise, although the conversation always orients around O’Reilly’s no-nonsense, adversarial approach to mainstream narratives.
For listeners looking for factual breakdowns, legal standards, and concise foreign policy analysis—with a fiercely skeptical edge—this episode serves as a signature example of the “No Spin” approach.
