I want to talk to you about a new poll by Siena College. And they do regular polls now. It's outside of Albany. Good School. About Governor Hochul. 805 New York State registered voters. Now, here is the registration in New York State, and this is why we are in such trouble in this state. So total registered voters in New York are 13.6 million. 49% are Democrats. Only 21% are Republicans. Third party over independent. 4%. I'm one of those. Unaffiliated. 26. I'm an independent voter. So obviously, Democrats overwhelm on the, on the registered voting rolls, and Siena College knows that. So when they did their sample, they had sample, 49% Democrats, 22% Republicans, 28 independents. So you're going to get a more favorable view of Governor Hochul than you would if you went to the mall and did this at random. So the question is, if Kathy Hochul runs for reelection as governor in 2026 next year, would you vote to reelect her? 36% say yes. That is a bad number for Hochul. 55% want someone else. Who is that someone else? Well, she's not going to lose a primary. If she decides to run again, Hochul will win the nomination. But on the Republican side, Elise Stefanik, the congresswoman, has got 35%. That is an interesting number. Okay, that's a high number. Remember that Republicans are what, 22%? So I think at least the fan give her a run for her money. The other question are, do you approve or disapprove of the job Governor Hochul is doing? Approve 50. Disprove 46. Now, I don't know who you are that's approving of Governor Hochul. When the capital flight out of New York State is horrendous, the affluent in business are leaving in record numbers. The rents are crazy, the taxes are the highest in the nation, Crime is frightening and terrifying. And 50% saying she's doing a good job. What's the matter with you people? And I mean that. What is the matter with you? Next question. Do you approve or disapprove of the job Trump is doing as president? Prove 40. Disprove. 57. Okay, that's what you're going to get in a poll like this. New York State on the right or wrong track? Right track. 43. Wrong. 46. Again, if you are saying New York State's on the right track, what is wrong with you? I mean, do you live in the woods? Do you not see the traffic, the pollution, the horrific crimes, the high taxes, the high Mortgages and rents. You not see any of that. I just. It's inexplicable to me. Now, I know that people vote their pocketbooks, and I know there are a lot of poor people on the Democratic rolls who vote Democrat because the Democratic Party gives them entitlements. They're the party of spending. And, you know, you need child care, here it is. You need health, here it is. You need whatever, here it is. In the unions, you want big pensions, here it is. And it's called buying votes. And that's what they do on a national level and a state level. So you've got a number of people that just simply go, well, you know, I get a lot of stuff. I want that to continue. Democrats are going to continue it, but the Republicans won't. So I'm going to vote Democrat. I kind of get that. But you're willing to give up all of the other things, the quality of life things that we do not have here any longer in New York, willing to give that up so you can be on a dole. That seems kind of selfish to me. I'm not a partisan guy. I mean, I think the Republicans in many instances are just pinheads. You know, they follow blindly, too, just like the Democrats do and a lot of independent thinkers. But at this point in history, there's no doubt the left wing and the Democratic Party doing damage to the country big time, not just the state of New York.
