Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the no Spin News. Thursday, September 4, 2025 stand up for your country. Well, we're all set to launch Confronting evil on Tuesday, September 9th. I got a break with Putin causing so much trouble and he's on a cover alongside Mao Zedong and Hitler and the Ayatollah. And then there are 11 others inside. Now a story late today that came out was that my old teammate Tucker Carlson says Biden is more evil than Putin. So I got it. Before I jump on this, I've got to see what the context is and all that. That's that's what we do here. We're not in the business of smearing or attacking. Sometimes people have to be held to account. But I've invited Tucker on Monday. I don't expect he'll come, but he is certainly welcome to have a historical discussion about this. And then I'm going to write the Sunday column about because I'll be finished my research then about comparing Putin and Biden in the evil categories. I think you'll find it very interesting. Now, Putin himself has caused everybody on this planet angst and he's directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of Deaths, probably millions if you count all the Russians who have been killed. And he's an evil man. There's no doubt about it. I'll prove it beyond any reasonable doubt when you pick up Confronting Evil next week. To be fair, though, we want to avoid hysteria on all of this stuff. There are a lot of people who think President Trump is evil. There are a lot of people who think Barack Obama is evil. Okay? We never, ever buy into that nonsense. But there is an element about President Biden that has not been reported, and it does border on evil. It's not in a Putin category, but it borders there. And that's what I'm going to tell you about. You read it Sunday and we'll discuss it on Monday. Turkey Point's memo this evening is President Trump the activist. So he's a very different kind of president. Everybody knows that, but they don't know really why. So you got to go back to Teddy Roosevelt in the early 20th century. Roosevelt had a vision of the country, all right? We should be robust. We should be patriotic. I have a letter written by Teddy Roosevelt that says no more German American, Irish American, all Americans. He was very, very centralized in his view of the country. And he was also outraged by the robber barons, the very wealthy people like Morgan and Rockefeller and Carnegie, who was scooping up billions of dollars while workers died. That is, in Confronting evil, Teddy Roosevelt's fight against the robber barons. So Roosevelt was a very activist president and he was a populist, just like Trump, not really a Republican. He called himself a progressive. That word meant far different back then than it means now. But Roosevelt wanted vast change. Trump is in the same category. I don't even know if the president understands how similar he is in style to Teddy Roosevelt. He harkens back to Andrew Jackson, Donald Trump, and there is a lot of similarities there. I wrote a column last week on Alexander Hamilton being re. Trump is his reincarnation. So this isn't new, but it's stunning because it hasn't happened in so long in modern times. After World War II, we haven't had any activist president. None. Reagan wasn't an activist. He wanted certain things, but he wasn't trying to redesign the whole system. Trump is. That's very important for you and every American to understand. He wants to redesign the country, the strong power center in Washington, D.C. so tariffs are number one. So Donald Trump in his first four years did very well in the economy. And people's wages rose, as you know, particularly black Americans. But we were still paying out billions, hundreds of Billions of dollars to foreign countries. And Trump was seething because this isn't fair. We're the big dog consumer. Why are we paying money to Luxembourg? Okay, so they stopped it by the tariffs because I'll even it out. They'll have to pay us to get their products sold in America. That's what that is all about. He did it because he wants more manufacturing jobs, making more stuff here, rather than hotel jobs, fast food jobs, uber jobs. He wants the higher paying jobs and he believes that's the way to elevate the middle class. And if it works, okay, that will happen. But we don't know if it's going to work. And of course, Trump's opposition, that want any change at all? None. And that includes some Republicans. They want to keep it the way it is. I don't like the way it is. I would rather have more high paying, skilled jobs in America. And if you've got to threaten companies abroad to get them back here, it's okay with me. But Trump's opposition hates that. They hate the tariffs. There's another lawsuit. I'll get to it in a moment. Why? It may work big time for America now. We are an impatient people. So Trump's got about six more months to see if prices go down and wages goes up and more jobs are plentiful. Okay, that's it. In February, March of next year. If the American consumer is suffering, then the Democrats have a very good chance to take at least one house in the midterms. Trump knows that, but he's gambling. And the other presidents would never have done it, ever. The other activist is public safety. So Donald Trump has disdain for liberal governance. Dis a I n disdain. He believes they're weak. He believes they don't care about public safety. He believes that the poor are getting murdered, literally, and nobody's doing anything about it. So he will. But then he gets into the balance of power. So the states were designed to run themselves, but what happens if a state won't run itself, won't protect its own people? Like Illinois and Chicago, like Louisiana, New Orleans, like L. A in California. These places do not protect their citizenry. New York City does not even punish violent criminals. You can hurt another human being in the city and I'll prove it to you later on, and you just walk free. I mean, that's anarchy. Trump has vowed to change it. That's a popular issue for him. The MAGA people like that issue. MAGA people on the tariffs, they're not quite sure. This one, about 98% are with him. Okay. Overseas, Donald Trump wants to make deals. The problem is that he's dealing with a madman, Vladimir Putin. Let's face it, the US Economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. Now, China is exploiting that. You saw it this week and we'll get to that today. China's exploiting Putin's madness by basically sending a signal, we're going to help Putin in Ukraine and other places. We're going to help them wreak destruction. That is really a tough one for Donald Trump. I'm deeply involved with that, as you know, very hard when you're dealing with a totally out there person who doesn't care about life and death as long as he's not going to be killed. Okay, so you can see that all of this is on one man's desk in the Oval Office. It's a very tough time in U.S. history. And nobody knows, and I mean that nobody knows how this is going to end. And that's the memo. All right, so another Liberal judge actually is 117 to 4 ruling in the United States Court of Appeals in D.C. federal Circuit say, no, Trump can't impose all these tariffs. And now Trump says, okay, let the Supreme Court decide Supreme Court will rule in Trump's favor. Why? Trump has the power to invoke anything that he believes is necessary for the good of the nation when it involves foreign policy. Okay? The presidential power is. If there is a threat from abroad, the president has full authority to deal with that threat. Simple as that. There's nothing more complicated than that. Trump's lawyers are going to make a case that hundreds of billions of dollars going out of America into other countries is a threat to America, a direct threat to us. Supreme Court's going to side with him, I believe. Now, if I'm wrong, I'll play this clip. Okay? But this is what's going on. So the court comes back October 6th. Earliest arguments in the tariff thing would be in November. In the meantime, tariffs are going to stay there, I believe. And the state of Oregon is leading the lawsuit by Oregon. Geez. And New York's on it. Ten of the states are signed on it. But I don't want to get too technical on this, but it's always the same suspects, always. What does Oregon care? Oregon needs a better economic profile. Okay. All right. Chicago. So we reported extensively yesterday. We hope you watch the program. Key stats are these. Over the last 10 years, 7,000 Chicagoans murdered. 80% of those African American. 35% of the murders were solved. 65% of murders in Chicago have not been solved. Now, that's a disaster. Okay? It's a disaster. If you're the president, you're watching this. The state of Illinois and the city of Chicago cannot control violence directed at the poorest members of the state. Poor people in Chicago, in the ghetto. Here's what the previous mayor of Chicago, Lori Lightfoot, said. Go.
E
Listen. The crime rate has gone down. You heard the numbers of decreases in homicides and shootings and other violent crimes that have gone down and have been going down for the last four years. We can't ignore that because the President is making up his own fact. And we also know there are red cities in red states that have higher per capita rates of gun violence and other violent crime that we're not hearing coming out of the President's mouth as a places where he really wants to go.
C
Now, there was one bit of truth in everything she said. The sound bite was 30 seconds. She didn't say one thing that was true. Okay? So the crime rate may be going down, but it doesn't have anything to do with the murder rate and violence rate. Okay? And crime rates go up and down. When Lightfoot took over in 2019, the first year she was there, there were 492 murders. The next year was 772 murders. It went from 492 to 7070 to 772 in one year under Lightfoot. And this red state stuff, this is about going to Mississippi in a rural county and finding that, you know, proportionally more people were shot than in a liberal city. That's insane. That's crazy. That way. You could say that BillOriley.com is more profitable than IBM because our profit margin is so much less than theirs. You know, come on. It's total propaganda. But the fact remains that there isn't any politician, liberal politician in Illinois. Nobody who wants to protect the poor African American population in Chicago. Not one. Here's what I said on News Nation last night on the Cuomo program. Go these people, Pritzker and Brandon Johnson. The mayor cannot admit it. They can't admit it. That it's their fault. Nothing is done to stop the murder in the poor neighborhoods. They won't admit it. They can't admit it. So Pritzker actually said to the press the motivation for Donald Trump to bring in more protection in the form of the Guard and federal agents is that Trump wants to establish a Nazi hierarchy in this country. Pritzker said that. Now, if you don't think that's a lie, then you don't know what the eighth commandment means. Okay, that is so insane. It's like some nothing I've ever heard. Okay, so the irony here is that for Donald Trump, black lives matter. He's trying to save black lives. That's who's being murdered. Whereas the liberal politicians don't want to save them because they have no solution to the problem. Goes on and on and on and on. It doesn't matter whether crime rate goes down 3% or 9% or updated. It's death in the street. Not only is it murder, but those poor people in the south side can't walk to the grocery store. They can't call the cops on anybody because the drug gangs will kill them and their families if they do that. Can't testify in court. You think they're free? You think these poor people are free? They're not. This is outrageous what's happening. And it's public safety. So Trump as president is in charge of keeping Americans, all Americans, safe. You would think the black community would rise up and say, yeah, we finally have somebody who's trying to help us. No, it's just crazy. I'm going to do a YouTube commentary on our YouTube channel. I'll tell you about the end of the program, that this is racism on the part of the left. You know, they always accuse the right of racism. This is what Spike Lee and all these people do every day. But this is really racism on the left. Yeah, you can die. We're not going to help you. Okay. All right, back to D.C. another lawsuit. Brian Schwalb, Attorney General for the District of Columbia, says that Trump doesn't have the power to bring the National Guard in. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Another loser. And since the President has deployed the Guard and federal agents to the District, according to CBS News, crime is cut by half. 50% in 19 days. You know how many people lives are saved? Property was saved, but they're suing them. Okay, all right, Harvard, another liberal, Judge Alison Burroughs, pointed by Barack Obama. There she is. Gives a lot of money to Democrats. She says no, Harvard can do whatever it wants, including violating Title 19, and still has to get federal tax dollars. Another loser. Supreme Court's gonna look at this. Trans rationale is Harvard University, Columbia University and bunch of others are violating title 19, which is means that they are using skin and other preferences. Okay. To conduct its operations. Therefore, because they're in violation of federal law, he's going to stop federal money from going into their research centers. Okay, if you're in violation of title 19, why should you get federal tax dollars? That's what's going to be presented to the Supreme Court. Now, the Trump lawyers are going to say this is what Harvard did. But I think we all know that when Your faculty is 82% left, far left, you're not operating in a fair manner.
F

Has a right to do that. It's a private institution, but it doesn't have the right to take my money in any capacity. And that's what Trump is saying. So I hope we're now in two. All right, overseas. So we got Putin, Xi and the leader of North Korea. North Korea means nothing. I hope everybody understands that, but she and, and Putin do. And all this was, was an in your face to America and to Europe saying, look, we got a lot of weapons and you mess with us gonna be bad. We're gonna do what we want. You're not gonna constrain us in any way. And this is Putin's posture. So if I want to invade Moldova after Ukraine, I'm going to do that. How about Lithuania? I'm going to go in there and you can't stop me. And if you try, I'm going to use a nuke. Now, she's not as bad, and there's still channels open because you know that I know all about this, but she is helping Putin. This is evil. This is evil. All right, I'm sitting here and I'm going, what a world, huh? I'm sorry to paint such a bleak picture, but I got to tell you the truth. So Trump's got to go through this process with Putin and Xi and all of that. It's going to take a lot of skill. One place where Donald Trump is now exerting federal power is fighting narcotics. So for years and years, the federal government has the dea, but didn't really do anything. The stat is staggering. In the United States, you've got, what, a million people dead from ODS? 800,000. More than 800,000 the last 10 years. But it's way more than that now. It's partially our fault because so many Americans want to kill themselves with narcotics. We live in a free society. They choose to live that kind of life. Okay, got to acknowledge that. But the gangsters and the terrorists that are importing the narcotics do so with impunity because there are five narco states. Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Honduras. Those countries allow the government assists the cartels in packaging and transporting drugs to the United States. So that's, that's big. That's big. So earlier this week, you may have heard that the US Navy blew a vessel coming out of Venezuela off the face of the earth, killing 11 people who were, as the government says, transporting a shipment of drugs. So they blew it up. This is just the beginning. Just the beginning. So President Trump has had enough of this and he's going to use the military to attack the drug smugglers. Do you object to that? Bill@billo riley.com bill@billow reilly.com Now, I haven't heard any. I'm sure there will be, but I haven't heard any progressive objection to this yet. But there will be, you know, there will be. Now, Mexico doesn't want to cooperate because their president Scheinbaum, as we reported yesterday, is afraid of the cartel. She's afraid she's going to be killed. Madam, if you're afraid you're going to be killed, resign because cartels are destroying your country, not just harming us. Venezuela. Maduro, the dictator there, has already been charged with drug smuggling. He leaves Venezuela, US Agents will pick him up. They'll be tried here. And who did that happen to? Hello, Noriega, Panama. So you will remember that in 1989, President Bush, the elder, used the Marines to go into Panama, invaded the country, grabbed Noriega, flew him to Miami, where he was charged as a drug smuggler, convicted, and then he went all around and he died in prison. He went back to Panama City at 83 in 2017. But there wasn't an outcry in this country. When President Bush picked up Noriega, we swooped in and we grabbed him because he was violating our national security. When you hurt Americans with illegal narcotics, that is a violation of our national security. And the president has an obligation to do something about it. But the presidents haven't because they didn't want to be like Trump. Obama didn't want to be like Trump. Biden didn't want to be like Trump. Even if Romney had been elected, or McCain, McCain would have been a little bit more aggressive. But you go back to Carter. Carter want to be Trump. Reagan didn't want to be Trump. Clinton certainly didn't want to be him. They didn't want to put themselves in that position of going into federal court, of being criticized, the press mocking you. They played it relatively safe. Trump does not. He says, I got three and a half years left. All right? I don't have to run. I'm going to do what I think is necessary to strengthen the country. I admire that. Not that he's perfect. He's not. And I've told him that. Okay, but he's trying RFK Jr. So he goes up to the Senate Finance Committee. He's the head, of course, of the Health and Human Services Department. I told you in the beginning that he's not qualified to be that head, that his outlook on vaccines is extreme. Okay? Extreme. So he goes up to the Hill today and roll the tape.
H
You don't have any idea how many Americans died from COVID I don't think.
C
Anybody knows because the. There was so much data chaos coming.
H
Out of CDC and there was diverse incentives.
C
And these are models.
H
You don't know the answer of how many Americans from COVID This is the Secretary of Health and Human Services. Do you think the vaccine did anything to prevent additional deaths?
C
Again, I would like to see the data and talk about the data.
H
You had had this job for eight months and you don't know the data about whether the vaccine.
C
That's the problem is that they didn't have the data. The data by the Biden administration, absolutely dismal.
H
The Secretary of Health and Human Services doesn't, no matter how many Americans died from COVID doesn't know if the vaccine helped prevent any deaths. And you are sitting as Secretary of Health and Human Services. How can you be that ignorant?
I

Kennedy won that because the CDC did not keep accurate information about COVID deaths or about preventive measures from the vaccines. So Kennedy is saying, look, I tried to get it but I couldn't get it because it's such a mess under Biden. That's true. What is also true is that Kennedy doesn't like vaccines. That's troubling. And we go to Florida. So there in that state they may ban all mandatory orders for kids taking vaccines.
E
That's insane.
C
You got to have a measles vaccine, polio vaccine. You have to. I mean in Texas you'll remember that, you know there are a lot of anti vaxxers there, a lot of parents that just won't allow their children be vaccinated. Well, there were 762 cases of measles last winter. Two children died and 100 were in the hospital. And that was just a small sliver of the state they contained it. Can't say you can Go to public school and not be vaccinated for measles. But Florida is going to do that. Whoa, that's just dangerous, flat out crazy. And DeSantis should know it. Now, the solution to the problem is to have the local school boards, because education is a local issue. That's why we pay property taxes. All right, say this is what we need in this district. And I'm sure there'll be some loopy districts that say we don't want any vaccines. No mandatory at all. Okay. At least that gives the people the right to move out. I don't know how many people move out of Florida because of this, but I wouldn't send my kid to a Florida public school. I wouldn't do it. If there's not going to be any mandatory vaccinations, I'm sending a private school where there will be. Okay, Zanti Vax thing. I understand the imposition of it. I understand the CDC chaos. I understand how badly Biden handled it all. But the vaccines are effective. They've driven measles down to nothing. Polio wiped out. So you got to have a little historical perspective here. I would take a quick break and we'll be back with some tragedy. Where I live in New York State, it's. It's. I gotta tell you this story, but I don't want to. But you should hear it in a moment. So I am born in New York City on the Upper west side. My mother was a physical therapist at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. So I was free. She gave birth free to me. And then my mother and father moved out to Levittown, Long island, on the GI bill. $8,000 house, two bedrooms. And it was modest to say the least. No air conditioning. No any. Not one amenity in the house. Had a good upbringing. I didn't care anyway. Back in then, New York was fairly safe. But now it's dangerous. And it's not only dangerous to the people like me who still live here, dangerous to the police. So we told you about. In November 2023, three thugs in the Bronx beat up two police officers. NYPD on a Bronx Bronx subway platform. Their case is still not in court. The hearing has been adjourned. 20 times. Yesterday was the 20th time. Two years. It's on videotape. There's no he said, she said. You see it. So the authorities in the Bronx, one of the five boroughs in New York City, do not want to prosecute this case. The two thugs are out on bail. I'm sorry, out on no bail. They didn't have to post a nickel. They just let him out. Kareem McClary and Isaiah Giussemi both have long rap sheets. Judges know they're dangerous. Judges know they assaulted police officers. And what about the cops themselves? What do they think? You can beat me up and nothing will happen to you. Used to be you spit at a cop and nothing happened to you. People were outraged. These people, these thugs try to kill these guys 20 times still. And their next hearing is November. That'll be two years plus. So that is the collapse of the justice system in New York City and state. New York State is a big, big place. So you go up to Plattsburgh, you're in Montreal. All right, you go over to Erie, you're in Ohio. Are you at the Montauk Point? Your next stop is Portugal. This is a big state, and it is run by the city of New York because that's where most people live. Eight and a half million justice systems collapsed, the whole system. And if this man Donnie, this communist, gets elected mayor, then it's going to be. You're going to have to arm yourself, people. New York is going to have to carry. That's how bad it's going to get. The cops were carrying. They got beat up anyway. And the two thugs, after two years, are still laughing at the system. That is the truth. That is what's happening in New York City and state. And it is beyond anything I've seen in my 50 years of reporting. Total collapse. Thank you, Progressive Left. Thank you, Governor Hochul. Thank you, Governor Cuomo. Thank you, Mayor de Blasio. And the current mayor, I feel a little sorry for him because he doesn't want it, but he's not strong enough to overcome it. Okay. Thank you for watching the newspaper News. I'm Bill O'Reilly. Check out that Sunday column on Putin, Biden and Tucker Carlson. And we will see you again on Monday.
Episode: Donald Trump the Activist, Chicago Crime Statistics Are Being Skewed, & Overdue Military Intervention With the Drug Trade
Host: Bill O’Reilly
Date: September 5, 2025
In this episode, Bill O’Reilly delivers an unfiltered analysis of three major issues: Donald Trump’s activist approach to the presidency, the manipulation and implications of Chicago crime statistics, and the intensifying federal military intervention in the US drug trade. O’Reilly positions Trump as a disruptive force in both the economic and public safety spheres, critiques the politicization and mishandling of urban crime data, and argues for a tougher, “overdue” national stance on drug trafficking. The discussion is anchored in historical context, interlaced with direct criticism of political opponents, and punctuated by O’Reilly’s signature no-nonsense tone.
