Very interesting speech by President Trump at the UN this morning. So he's on his way in with Melania, and the escalator stops working. Okay. Then he gets to the forum and the teleprompter breaks down, and you can just see Trump just reinforces his opinion that the entire United nations thing is amateur hour. Trump has no use for this crew at all. And that is the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo. All right, so he goes to the UN and he's got a speech that lasts 55 minutes pretty long. And he wanted to make a few points. The biggest point is that the United nations is useless because it's run by one world leftists. That was the overarched point to for all the nations. Look, we in the United States. I'm paraphrasing President Trump, we know who you are, and you're not in the business to help calm wars down or do anything other than promote leftist ideology. That was what Mr. Trump wanted to get across. Okay? It's appropriate you make up your mind on it. But that's what he wanted to do. Now, he began by talking about US Politics. Now, he knows, you know, I know nobody in that room gives a wit about US Politics. But Donald Trump cannot help himself. He can't roll a tape.
Donald Trump
And here in the United States, four years of weakness, lawlessness, and radicalism under the last administration delivered our nation into a repeated set of disasters. One year ago, our country was in deep trouble. But today, just eight months into my administration, we are the hottest country anywhere in the world, and there is no other country even close.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay. Did that impress anybody at the United Nations? No. Is it true? Maybe. Certainly, we are the most powerful economic engine in the world. There's no doubt about that. And if all of Donald Trump's policies are successful, we are going to be much stronger than we were before he came into office a second time. I think those two things are true. I know they're true. Now, Donald Trump is frustrated because he doesn't get Credit overseas or in the United States for solving conflicts. He says he stopped seven wars. That's true to some extent. I mean, each situation is different. But he put the arm on 14 different countries and said, you better knock it off or we'll punish you. The United States will punish you. That's a pretty big incentive to knock it off. And then he sweetens it up. You know, if you stop the fighting, we'll do this, we'll do that. That's how Trump deals. Okay, But Trump is angry because nobody publicizes that. And the United nations didn't help him go.
Donald Trump
But later I realized that the United nations wasn't there for us. They weren't there. I thought of it, really, after the fact, not during these negotiations, which were not easy. That being the case, what is the purpose of the United Nations? The UN has such tremendous potential, I've always said has such tremendous, tremendous potential, but it's not even coming close to living up to that potential.
Bill O'Reilly
Now, that is a scolding of the U.N. the individual countries sitting there, they don't care. U.N. officials probably care. But what are they going to do? Now? In Ukraine, which is obviously the biggest issue right now overseas, Trump was. He didn't spend a lot of time on. He only mentioned Putin's name once because he's still hopeful that he can somehow maneuver bad Vlad into stopping the mass killing for no reason. Why? Why is he doing this? All right, so he dealt with Ukraine by scolding our allies. American allies. Go.
Donald Trump
China and India are the primary funders of the ongoing war by continuing to purchase Russian oil. But inexcusably, even NATO countries have not cut off much Russian energy and Russian energy products, which, as you know, I found out about two weeks ago, and I wasn't happy. Think of it. They're funding the war against themselves. Who the hell ever heard of that one? In the event that Russia is not ready to make a deal to end the war, then the United States is fully prepared to impose a very strong round of powerful tariffs, which would stop the bloodshed, I believe, very quickly. But for those tariffs to be effective, European nations, all of you are gathered here right now, would have to join us in adopting the exact same measures.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay? And that was it for Ukraine. Now, the countries that buy Russian oil at this point are Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia, France. Boy, that's bad. Belgium and Spain. That's a scandal. I would have mentioned those countries if I were Donald Trump, because they are enabling Putin to continue his murderous spree. Then Trump switched to one of his favorite topics Migration. And he says that all over the world, not just the United States, that the illegal immigration situation is badly damaging established countries. Roll the tape on that.
Donald Trump
According to the Council of Europe, in 2024, almost 50% of inmates in German prisons were foreign nationals or migrants. In Austria, the number was 53% of the people in prisons were from places that weren't from where they are now. In Greece, the number was 54%. And in Switzerland, beautiful Switzerland, 72% of the people in prisons are from outside of Switzerland.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay. Those stats seem to be accurate. And migration is on President Trump's mind. So is global warming, which he considers a major scam. Now, global warming has been embraced by Western Europe and the United Nations. Billions, probably trillions, has been spent on alternative energies. Trump sees a big con. Roll of tape.
Donald Trump
Trump was right about everything. And I don't say that in a braggadocious way, but it's true. I've been right about everything. And I'm telling you that if you don't get away from the green energy scam, your country is going to fail. And if you don't stop people that you've never seen before, that you have nothing in common with, your country is going to fail.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, so those are the strongest points to review. Didn't really attack Putin or China. And right after the speech on social media, President Trump released a schedule to meet with Xi. So that's going to take place around Halloween at the economic conference in Seoul, South Korea. They'll meet face to face. And Trump did not want to antagonize. That's the right word, Putin or Xi in this speech. He could have slam based both of them. Okay, but he didn't. He did for a reason that he and I concur on. China. I think the Chinese are going to make a deal with us. It's going to be very helpful for the world. I think Putin is, as I said, and if you read my book, confronting evil, my God, the guy is just a psychopath now. And the kicker on it is that in order to stop Putin, Trump's got to convince China to pull away from him. That is the key. He might be able to do it. All right, as far as Gaza and the Middle east, touched upon it a little bit. Let's face it, the US Economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war shaking the markets. Countries say they want to recognize a Palestinian state, but there is no Palestinian state to recognize. So I'm sitting there going, okay, it's all right with me you want to recognize a Palestinian state, but go ahead, try to find them. Hamas runs Gaza, Hezbollah runs the West Bank. We going to negotiate with terrorists. And that's what Trump says. If you prop up a Palestinian state, this is a reward to Hamas. That's why the USA won't do it. I might handle it a little bit differently if I were president, but I have no objection because it's true. The terrorists control the Arab presence around Israel. There's nobody else. So you can recognize anybody you want. But see if they return your phone call because there's no phones and there's no building. And that's the memo. Okay, let's go over to vengeance. Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord, part of the Bible. Right? But Donald Trump intruded on that a little bit. So he wants to get his enemies. No doubt about it. You want to be honest and we do, of course. So there are three cases against people that Donald Trump despises. One is Senator Schiff from California. The other is New York Attorney General Letitia James and final, former FBI Director James Comey. There they are. All three have tortured Donald Trump, tried to destroy him and his family, and now Trump is coming after them. So There was a U.S. attorney in Virginia, Eric Seibert, who was in charge of James and Comey, and Trump fired him because apparently he wasn't moving fast enough or didn't want to move or something. I don't know exactly what Mr. Seibert did wrong, but he's fired. Replaced by Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Lindsey Halligan, 36 years old from Colorado. She worked in Florida with the president. She is the new attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia. Now, again, she's going to do what Donald Trump suggests, but she can't manufacture evidence. She can't, but she can aggressively investigate. These things are very murky. So Adam Schiff, he apparently has a house in Maryland that he's not doing. He's saying that he lives there, but he doesn't live there. And Letitia James, the same thing. She has a house in Virginia and she said it was a primary residence, but it's not a primary residence. And Comey, it's all about lying about the Russian collusion investigation. Those are the three charges that are swirling. All right, so on Adam Schiff, here's what President Trump said. Go.
Donald Trump
I stay out of it purposely, but it's mortgage loan fraud. It's a big deal. He defrauded banks and insurance companies and the federal government. But it's very simple. It's mortgage loan fraud. And you're right, it's a lot of people to live in a one bedroom apartment. Right, but he put it down. But he has a lot of other things far worse than that. So, no, Adam Schiff, they have him 100% on mortgage fraud.
Bill O'Reilly
Well, I don't know whether they have 100% because he would be indicted then, but that's a Maryland play. As far as Letitia James, it's kind of the same situation with a mortgage deal. Roll it.
Donald Trump
Well, I don't know what it is currently, but Letitia James, who's the Attorney General of New York State, it seemed I'm not involved in that at all. I know that it's being handled by various groups, I guess, but it's major fraud, mortgage documents and fraudulent everything.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, so, I mean, he says he's not involved, but Donald Trump's monitoring, as you know. He is. And joining us now from Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a former U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Oklahoma under Donald Trump in his first term. Trent Shores. Why do you think Eric Seibert in Virginia was fired?
Trent Shores
Listen, when you sign up to be a United States Attorney, you serve at the pleasure of the President. So you know going into that job that you may be forced into situations where you have to make a decision. In this case, I don't know that we publicly know enough facts to know why Mr. Seibert was removed from his position. But that is a power that the President enjoys. He is the leader of the executive branch. He can stand, set priorities, he can give direction. The one thing that the President doesn't do as he's, you know, as he knows is, is make charging decisions. So that ultimately is left up to the United States Attorney and to the officials at DOJ in this case.
Bill O'Reilly
But you have to assume that Cyber was reporting to Pam Bondi, the Attorney General, and Pam Bonney was reporting to Trump. And Trump did not like the way this investigation was being handled. I mean, that's 100% right?
Trent Shores
Yeah. I don't know that we know it's 100% that the president didn't like how the investigation was being handled. I think what the President is wanting are charges brought sooner. He believes that based on what he knows, it certainly seems that he thinks there is a case that is provable beyond a reasonable doubt. We have to remember, we don't know what evidence Mr. Seibert or his team of investigators have assembled, but there is no question that there is an investigation ongoing. A mortgage fraud case, Bill, it's a white collar case. These aren't always quick or swift investigations. They're document laden and intensive. So it could be that they just haven't reached an ultimate conclusion yet whether to bring charges.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay, well, I think that is the case. But Cyber was displeasing President TRUMP because he's one out of what? How many U.S. attorneys are there? There's hundreds across the country and he's singled out for a firing. Now, when you were attorney, the U.S. attorney in Oklahoma, what did you have to do on high profile cases? Did you have to call Bill Barr, the Attorney General? Did you have to keep him up to speed? How, how does that work?
Trent Shores
Sure, that's a great question because a lot of folks don't know you are empowered as a presidentially appointed and Senate confirmed United States Attorney to make those tough calls. But again, you don't do so in isolation. We look to the Justice Manual, which is our sort of insider handbook that provides U.S. guidelines and policies. And when you have a high profile case like that, you are going to coordinate, of course, with the Office of the Attorney General. In my case, that was Bill Barr and that was Jeff Sessions. You're also going to work closely with the deputy Attorney general to ensure that what you're doing is in accordance with department policy.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah, and they want to know, too. So when Trump asks them or Biden or whatever president, they can say, this is where it is, this is how they're going, and this is the odds of indictment, on and on and on. But I would assume that there are some US Attorneys that get cases they don't like and they kind of slow walk it. Right.
Trent Shores
I don't know that there are U.S. attorneys, in my experience, Bill, that will slow walk a case if they have been presented with their job by that particular president. I don't think any prosecutor becomes a prosecutor because they don't want to prosecute cases.
Bill O'Reilly
But what about the politics of it? I mean, you know, not. I wouldn't say in Oklahoma, that would be a major factor where you are, but certainly in Washington, D.C. my God, there's politics and everything there. So if this guy cyber, if his whole world is, you know, anti Trump, which is absolutely possible, and he doesn't want to really bring charges against Comey and who. Who he probably knows, right? Comey, I have to know him and James. And then he's kind of. Kind of like, well, you know, you know how it goes. You can pedal to the metal or you can just give it to your 15th guy. Right.
Trent Shores
Listen, there's no doubt that it's a political appointment, but I think you see that U.S. attorneys that do the job well follow where the evidence leads, and that's not always politically convenient. At the same time, there is no problem with the attorney general or even the president himself expressing that they hope their prosecutors, their US attorneys, are more aggressive. Looking at Mr. Seibert's case in the Eastern District of Virginia, he has to make a determination, one, whether he has the evidence to satisfy the elements of the crime to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, and two, he has to look at who's going to be in his jury pool there in the Eastern District of Virginia. And I think those present challenges potentially to bringing a case that has this perception, as it's been presented by mainstream media, that it's a political prosecution, even if it's not.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, so you're suggesting that Mr. Seibert may have gotten shafted on this.
Trent Shores
I'm not saying he got in shaft.
Bill O'Reilly
No, I know you're not saying it, but you're saying you're leaving open the possibility that he was doing his job in an honest way and he got whacked because Trump wanted it done faster.
Trent Shores
Sure, I think that's possible. This idea of justice delayed is justice denied is not a foreign concept in our system. But yes, Mr. Seiber had choices in front of him. And it appears that when you serve at the pleasure of the president, as is the case in any administration, that you may face choices that could result in you needing to step away from your job.
Bill O'Reilly
All right, we appreciate it, Council. Thanks very much for helping us out. I think that he was honest and every president has certain cases that they're very interested in and they want specific updates. And if you don't give it to them, you're gone. And that's just the way the system works.

Let's go to a new poll about Charlie Kirk's killing. This is Rasmussen 1165 likely voters. The question was which is close to your opinion? Charlie Kirk was peacefully and respectfully debating people. It's a tragedy. He was murdered or Charlie Kirk was speaking hateful words and his murder was tragic but understandable. All right. Tragic but understandable. 26%. Okay, respectfully debating people, 62%. And I believe that's true. I do believe that that is reflects the American public. On the liberal side, though, 54% said Mr. Kirk was hateful. Just so you know, conservative. Only 5% said he was hateful. Kamala Harris who has no trouble getting booked on every network show she wants. She is welcome here on the no Spin News. In a million years, she would not come in here. And I had just very simple questions like are you happy that the border is sealed now, Ms. Vice President? You know, stuff like that. Just straight declarative census. She can say whatever she wants to say, but never would she sit across from me. I sound like a braggadocio here. I'm just stating the facts. Anyway, she's on the View, of course, and here's what she says about Trump. Go.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
First of all, he said his number one priority and the number one thing he would do is bring down costs. That's what he said. And I believe there are a lot of people who voted for him believing that that's what he would do. Fast forward to today.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (continued)
Yeah, hello.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Prices are higher. The cost of food is higher. Inflation is higher.
Bill O'Reilly
Higher.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
Unemployment is higher. He lied. Yeah, he lied.
Bill O'Reilly
Yay. He lied. He lies. The campaign stuff. Campaign rhetoric. So let's fact check it. In December 24, Biden Harris in office. Unemployment for one. Now it's 4:3, which is the same. Just about the same. Okay, so that's wrong. Consumer prices and weight of inflation, December 24 to 9, August 25 to 9. But in the big cities, consumer prices is up 3%. Okay, that's where people are getting hit. New York City, Chicago, things like that. Grocery prices, December 24, 1.8% annual increase now 2.7. There is the vulnerability for Donald Trump. Somehow, some way, the Republicans have got to try to bring down those grocery prices. Another poll, Washington Post about the Democratic Party. So this is 2,513 US adults. Which political party do you trust doing a better job handling each of the following? The economy, Democrats 32%, Republicans 39. So even though prices are going up for groceries a little bit, people still trust more. The Republican Party on the economy, crime, Democrats 22, Republicans 44, a double. And immigration, Democrats, 29, Republicans 42. So the Democrats, they got about 13 months to turn it around for the midterms. PBS, NPR. You know, they got 50 million cut from the Trump administration, but I told you this would happen. So a bunch of left wing financiers have gathered together and they're pumping money into the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, they say to keep the local stations rolling. Maybe that's true. Knight Foundation, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation, Schmidt family foundation, all of them. And they all pool their money and they're given 100 million instead of 50. And that's what it should have been forever. Why take tax dollars when you can have these special interest groups and I got no beef with that. Pump as much money as you want in there. Donald Trump's approval. This is a Reuters poll. Now, the president, I think is steady in his belief system. There are no disasters that I can see and certainly I would report them to you. He's only been in office nine months, obviously tried to change the economy, tried to change the world. Some work, some is still pending. Okay, so Reuters, what share of Americans approve of the president's job performance? 41 approve. 58 disapprove. All right, that's a little low. I think it might be a little higher. What share of Americans approve of the president's handling of the economy? Very important. As I said, 35 disapprove. 56. That's a troubling number. So Donald Trump has got to get on that price stuff. But here's the kicker for the Reuters poll. It doesn't make any sense. Okay, which party is a better plan for the economy? Republicans 34. Democrats 24. Well, wait a minute. If you're crucifying Trump for the economy, how can you say the Republicans have a better plan by 10%? That's what I mean about these polls. Which party has a better chance for crime? Better plan for crime? Republicans 40. Democrats 20. Immigration? Republicans 40. Democrats 22. Political extremism. Republicans 30, Democrats 26. So still the right wing extremism has overcome the left wing extremism. I don't know how that's possible in this day and age. But there's the poll. Now, this is a story I have not been able to confirm because there's no reporting on it. But the Ukrainian government says it hit 10 oil refineries in Russia, crippling some of the Russian transportation of oil. If that's true, big win for Ukraine. Can't confirm it. The Financial Times says it's true. But you know Ukraine, feisty over there, but they need more help. This is from the Global Post. The GlobalPost.com is our foreign policy journal that we use and they're accurate. Mexico. What a disaster Mexico is. Do you realize in the last five years almost 200,000 people have been murdered in Mexico by the drug cartels? 200,000 and about 50,000 have disappeared. I think it's double that. Gone. Nobody knows where they are. I'll tell you where they are. They're either in the ocean or underground. About 40ft. That's where they are. So that would bring it up to about 300,000 murdered in five years. And Sheinbaum, the president still won't cooperate with Trump on knocking these cartels out. Boy, smart life. Top 10% of American consumers spend 50% of all the stuff bought. This is Bernie Sanders. Punish the wealthy, punish the corporations. What do you think is going to happen if you start to punish and confiscate the wealth in America? Well, consumer spending is going to drop through the floor again. 10% of Americans buy 50% of the stuff. And our economy is driven by consumer spending. I can't cover the shooting at the ICE facility in Dallas yet because, I don't know, there's too many stuff floating around. But the ICE facility was attacked. The guy who did it killed himself. Two detainees were killed. But we're on it. We're looking. We just don't want to misreport. This is a story that I want to put into some kind of perspective for you House of Representatives. All right, Friday, September 19th, two days before the memorial, this was sponsored by the speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, a resolution honoring Charlie Kirk. And essentially this is what it said. The resolution condemns the strongest possible terms the assassination of Charlie Kirk. All foreign political violence commends and honors the dedicated law enforcement emergency personnel for their efforts of finding suspect responsible for the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Sends deepest condolences, sympathies. Charlie Kirk's family honors the life, leadership and legacy of Charlie Kirk. And finally calls upon all Americans to reject political violence, recommit the respectful debate, uphold American values and respect one another as fellow Americans. Okay, so that passed. All right. 3, 10, 2, 58. All Republicans voted for it in the House, but 58 Democrats did not. Okay.

You know, you gotta explain this. But they won't. But Ocasio Cortez, a congresswoman from New York, she went a bit further in her rejection of the Charlie Kirk resolution. Roll the tape.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (continued)
The majority proceeded with a resolution that brings great pain to the millions of Americans who endured segregation, Jim Crow and the legacy of bigotry.
Bill O'Reilly
Today.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (continued)
We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was. A man who believed that the Civil Rights act that granted black Americans the right to vote was a mistake. Who, after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi, claimed that, quote, some amazing patriot, unquote, should bail out his brutal assailant and accused Jews of controlling, quote, not just the colleges, it's the nonprofits, it's the movies, it's Hollywood, it's all of it, unquote.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay, so we did a fact check because this is important. Charlie Kirk did not criticize civil rights and granting black Americans the right to vote. He did not say it was a mistake. So Ocasio Cortez lied. What he did say was that the Civil Rights act is too broad because it allows trans people to participate in women's sports. That was the context. Secondly, Paul Pelosi attack. What Mr. Kirk said was that others who commit assault were not punished as harshly as the assailant of Mr. Pelosi. I don't think I would have made that analogy, but it's certainly not that he wanted the man out on the street. Okay, the third one is very weird about the Jews. We can't find any video of that at all. Okay. Apparently some far left organization put this out, but it's. It's not backed up and there's no date on it. Supposed to be on his program, the Charlie Kirk show, but there's no date, so we don't know what that's all about. I do know that Alexander Ocasio Cortez is not invested in telling the truth. And I know that with 100% certainty. Kimmel. Okay, so there is a negotiation, according to a number of press agencies, between ABC and Kimmel, that maybe he won't be fired, maybe he'll be suspended and maybe he'll come back. Maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe, maybe. I don't know. I know some of the affiliates aren't going to take him back, even if he comes back. So this is, you know, I don't know why Colbert's still on the air until May. For what? You know, they're done. But we'll keep you posted. So the left has made this. And not only the left, but Rand Paul, the Republican senator from Kentucky. They've made this a freedom of speech. Government is trying to deny our freedom of speech. That's. They spun it over. It's not Kimmel blacking out all conservative voices for three years, inappropriately misleading the country about the assassin. It's not that It's. A government footprint is now threatening freedom of speech. Here's what Mr. Paul said. Go. I mean, this is television, for goodness sakes. You have to sell sponsorships, you have to sell commercials. And if you're losing money, you can be fired. But the government's got no business in it. And the FCC was wrong to weigh in. And I'll fight. Any, any, any attempt by the government to get involved with speech, I will fight. Okay, So I disagree with Mr. Paul, and that's not unusual. Okay? I don't see the world the way he does. He says the FCC was wrong to weigh in. Why? I mean, the three networks are using the public airways and they're supposed to be broadcasting. Okay, let me give you a quote. We'll put it up and I'll read it for those listening on the radio. The Federal Communications Commission regulates public airways use and requires licensees to serve the public interest, convenience and necessity by addressing local comedy news. Okay? Is the public interest? Let me just ask a very simple question, because I'm a simple man served by a total blackout of all the networks, cnn, no conservative or traditional voice can appear on their air. Is that serving the public interest, Senator Paul? Because that's been going on for 10 years now. 10 years blackout. Totally. And I know that better than anybody ever wrote the message of the day because I got to sell books and I used to be on all the networks, everybody.
