This is one of the most spectacular venues with all kinds of character and hospitality, scenery. These people in this git attas Valley, they love when you come to see what they have to offer. One is the Extreme Bulls of the Year event. Do not miss The Ellensburg Rodeo, August 29th through September 1st. We'll see you there. You're listening to the no Spin News Talking Points edition. All right, Putin Friday Alaska meeting. This is a good thing, even if nothing gets done and there isn't a possibility that psychopathic killer will just use this to grandstand. Absolutely possible. No guarantees. But to get him into a meeting was something the Democrats weren't close to doing for four years. The EU couldn't do it, the Pope couldn't do it, and the Pope tried. Nobody could do it. And millions of people have been killed, wounded or displaced. Trump did it. Okay? We all have that simple equation. All right. We don't have any details yet. The Trump advance team is in Alaska. I assume it's Anchorage, but I don't know the big Air Force base out there, probably because of security, where it's going to be. No, Putin's not going to be arrested on an international warrant. You know, I get plenty of letters on that. He's going to go. Trump and him will speak. We don't believe Zelensky will be there. Should he be there? Yes, but we have to live in the real world. There are conditions for bad Vlad to go anywhere. It would be better if Zelensky were there. But you can't force it. No one can do that. The EU, 27 countries can. We have all 27 there? No. So there. I'm sorry, EU I'm sure you'll be briefed, but this is one on one to try to get this horrible war tamped down. Okay? So enter the dishonest, irresponsible American press, which has destroyed itself. They've gotten karma. They're done. All of them are. Okay? CNN won't learn a lesson no matter how badly the ratings are. And they can't get any lower. They literally cannot go any lower. They booked John Bolton, former Trump national security adviser who was fired by the president for being too billicose. He wanted to attack and fight everybody. Bolton since that time, Putin hates Trump, but CNN knows that books him anyway. Roll the tape. Well, it's very gracious of Putin to come to Former Russian America for this summit. This is not quite as bad as Trump inviting the Taliban to Camp David to talk about the peace negotiations in Afghans, but it certainly reminds one of that the only better place for Putin than Alaska would be if the summit were being held in Moscow. So the initial setup, I think, is a great victory for Putin. He's a rogue leader of a pariah state and he's going to be welcomed into the United States. All right, so that moron, and he is genuinely a moron, a self serving moron, has no solution to this war at all. None. Zero. My staff, I told them, research, that Bolton has ever put forth any solution at any time. And the answer is no, he has not. He's a gall to get on there. And that Caitlyn woman who I used to like, sits there like a mummy and doesn't say, well, what's your solution, Ambassador? Because she doesn't want to hear that, she just wants to bash Trump. That's it. What a waste of time. What corruption. I'll go up against Bolton. Hey, Ambassador, you're invited on anytime, anytime. Me and you, you want to go, we'll go. Okay, so it's so staggering when you listen to this, like, oh, you're welcoming him to American soil. Trump wants a meeting with the man. I don't care where it is. Do you care where it is? Do you? When thousands of people a day, including women and children are being slaughtered, do you care where that meeting is? How about the Democratic Party? They have any solutions to Ukraine? I don't believe they did. Okay, Biden sent over. Well, let me get. After I run a sound bite, I'll get the exact figure. But Putin wouldn't even take his calls. Okay, meeting. Forget it. Wouldn't even take. Wouldn't get on the phone with him. So now the Democratic Party, of course, trying to undermine Trump. Here's Senator Kelly from Arizona. Go. I hope we got something out of this. Putin is a war criminal. This is not a show of strength to allow him to fly into the United States to land here to negotiate with our President. I don't know for certain, I don't know what was the ground rules that were set for this negotiation, but I would expect that this administration should have extracted something for this visit. Extracted? Extracted. Your party under Biden, sent 200 billion American dollars, 200 billion to Ukraine to defend himself. Weren't even close to getting any kind of negotiation. Extracted? Like what? War criminal? Yeah, he is a war criminal. Putin, he is. So what? We gotta stop the war and easy. Only one who can do it. Just him. Senator Kelly put in a call. Kelly? I'll take him and Bolton side by side. Kelly's got nothing. Biden had nothing to. Biden in the run up to Ukraine. Got Putin on the phone twice. Putin gave him the middle finger twice. That was it. It's been so long. How have you been? Hello. I'm doing well, Dave. Why. Why are you talking that way? Please say one for a compliment or two for a question. Yeah, this is weird. I think I'm gonna go. Talking with an automated phone tree can feel pretty ridiculous. That's why when you call Pacific Source Health Plans, you'll get a real person to answer all your important questions. Pacific Source Health. Real person. How can I help you? Human Service, not automated phone trees. Find a plan at PacificSource members first.com I'm Piers Morgan, the host of the Piers Morgan Uncensored podcast. We do big interviews and we do big debates about whatever's getting people talking. You can listen to Piers Morgan Uncensored on Apple podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, or wherever you get your podcast. All right, just to remind you what's at stake here. 79,000 Ukrainians dead. Okay? Civilians. That's just military casualties. 13,500 civilians casualties. It's staggering. Let me correct that. In the military, Ukrainian military, about 300,000 dead or wounded. It's incredible. It's just absolutely incredible. Seven million people have fled Ukraine, left their homes, out of there, extracted. These people are so irresponsible. I told you. You know, okay, we are on it. I have very good sources on this all week. I'll keep you up to speed on what's happening, and obviously we'll analyze it over the weekend in a very robust way, in a fair way, in a humane way. You're listening to a special edition of the no spin news. So 800 National Guard are going to the D.C. armory right now. Associated Press is reporting. And they will patrol neighborhoods suppressing criminals. So if you're a criminal and you want to go out and hijack a car or stick up an old lady to get money for drugs, and there's National Guard standing there, you are less likely to do it. Okay? There's also 120 FBI agents, and they are in the neighborhoods where crimes are most committed. So again, this is a suppression of crime, an institution of more safety for the public. Does everybody understand what's happening here. I hope you do. Well, the progressive left, the Trump haters, they hate this. And then the simple question is, wait, wait. If you're going to make human beings, American citizens, more safe and you have the legal authority to do it because the federal government runs the District of Columbia, why wouldn't you do it? Okay, so in addition to the crime and murders, by the way, by the way, I'm sorry, I said that. Murders in D.C. rose between 2012 and 24, about 100%, and they've come down a little bit. But D.C. is a violent city, and everybody knows it. Who lives there. You gotta be careful. Everybody knows. Okay. In addition to the crime, There are about 6,000 homeless people, most of them drug addicts. And a lot of them live on public land, federal land. And Trump goes no. So today, Caroline Levitt, the press spokesman for the White House, said, hey, the metropolitan Police are going to get the homeless and they're going to give them a choice. You can either check yourself in, and I guess there would be accompanied to a shelter receiving mental health services, but if you do not do that, then you will be put in jail. Okay, why that tactic? Because it's the only tactic that works. You're not going to persuade people to give up inebriation unless they're desperate. So if you talk to any drug rehab counselor, you can't rehab somebody who doesn't want to be rehabbed. And most of these people, not only in D.C. but all over the country living on the streets, are drug addicts or alcoholics, and they want to get high all day, every day. You put them in jail, which you can do because there's an ordinance on a book to Washington. They can't get their dope or their booze. They're going to leave. They're not going to hang around for that. That's how you get them out. And that's what the federal government is now doing. So the US Park Police are going into the public areas owned by we, the taxpayers, and they're saying, you're out of here. No debate. That's not going to take long. But the progressive left, of course, they don't want that. They don't want anything like that because they hate Trump and they don't want laws to be enforced. That. That's a complicated issue, but it's absolutely true. All right, so the first guy I'm going to feature on this is our pal Pete Buttigieg, perhaps the worst transportation secretary in the history of the country under Joe Biden. You remember Pete, former Mayor of South Bend, Indiana, under Pete, the US Airline industry almost collapsed, and Pete did nothing because V didn't know what to do. And of course, President Biden didn't do anything. So people were delayed and had canceled and on and on and on and on. Well, here's what Buttigieg says about Trump and the feds going into law enforcement in the District of Columbia. Go. As we speak, the federal government is taking over the policing of a major American City, Washington, D.C. the president is doing this not in order to make the city safer. That's the job of local law enforcement, but to solve his own political problems. He needs to get his base talking and thinking about something besides his refusal to open up the Epstein files. Well, how would Buttigieg know that? Does he read minds? Does he talk to Trump about it? No, he wants to divert away from epsy.fc story is largely dead. Okay, we're going to have a little bit on it tomorrow, put a bow on it. But it's largely dead. But Buttigieg and the progressives, they want to tie Epstein to Trump. So anything Trump does, Putin meeting, anything. Oh, it's a diversion. How would you know? How do you back that statement up? Buttigieg, you can't back it up. Just ridiculous. He's a ridiculous man. Okay, the other guy is former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe. Listen to this. Go. Most FBI agents were not police officers before they came into the FBI. Even the most tactically astute, highly trained FBI agents, those who serve on SWAT teams, I know this as a former SWAT team member, they don't know. They don't do community policing. Are you kidding me? This is so ridiculous. So all they're supposed to do, the FBI agents, is to stop crime by their very presence and to investigate gang members and things like that who may have organized carjacking rings? You tell me the FBI can't do that. Come on. This is so absurd. I mean, I sit here every day and I go, these people, I guess they believe the American public's that stupid to listen to this garbage. All right, now, there was a protective operation in Los Angeles. We all know that. When some of those riots out there got out of control and the federal government, Donald Trump, sent a National Guard and Stop the cold, Stop the cold. And that's what's going to happen in D.C. i guarantee this. This is 100%. This is easy, this isn't hard. The gang bangers in dc, we can't come out of their holes now as long as the federal presence is there. Hey, Mike. Baker here, host of the President's Daily Brief podcast. If you want straight talk on national security, foreign policy and the biggest global stories going on of the day, this is the show for we publish twice a day, Monday through Friday, once in the morning, again in the afternoon, and on the weekend we go longer with the PDB Situation Report with excellent guests including national security insiders and foreign policy experts. Check us out on Spotify, Apple, or wherever you get your podcasts. Also on our YouTube channel at PresidentsDailyBrief. Now, you would think that a McCabe and a Buddha judge not fair, people not looking out for you by any means. Well, would listen to the police union Chief in Washington, D.C. go, well, look, we completely agree with the president that crime in the District of Columbia is out of control and something needs to be done with it. We have to go back to how we got here, though. In 2020, the D.C. city Council passed an enormous amount of legislation that handcuff police officers, exposes them to administrative, civil, and even criminal liability even when they do their jobs properly. And that happened in New York, that happened in Chicago, that happened in LA and San Francisco. Same thing. Okay, we will hector the police. We will make it hard for the police to do their jobs. But the police union chairman, Gregory Pemberton, said, hey, we back Trump. We know the situation in D.C. is out of control, crime wise. Enter. This is unbelievable. And Nancy Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi, former Speaker of the House. Here's what she tweeted, quote, Donald Trump delayed deploying the National Guard on January 6th when our Capitol was under violent attack and lives are at stake. Now he's activating the DC Guard to distract from his incompetent mishandling of tariffs, health care, education, immigration, just to name a few blunders. Okay, so it's not Epstein, it's tariffs and everything like that. All right, Nancy Pelosi. Now, the Capitol Hill police chief at the time of the riot is named Steven Sund. Here's how he reacted to Pelosi. Quote, ma', am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people. On January 3rd, I requested National Guard assistance, but your sergeant at arms denied it. Under federal law, I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval. The same day, Carol Corbyn at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority. So this we have known that Pelosi was a saboteur of the National Guard coming to protect the Capitol, and yet she is the gall and the deceit to Criticize Trump doing this, hard to believe. All right, now, looking forward, the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, very close ally with Donald Trump, is going to have another round of hearings. And D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser is first up. He announced that yesterday it's going to be in September. We don't have a date. So they're going to call in all the D.C. locals and say, why do you oppose something that would make your own citizens, your own residents safer? Why would you do that, Madam? Crime's going down. So what? So what if crime goes down is zero? That's what we want. Okay, so that hearing, another House oversight, that's a busy bunch over there, okay? On the homeless situation, they can solve the problem fairly easily by saying, look, either help yourself or you go to jail for a few days and then you can't get your drugs and you're in withdrawal or whatever. And so they're going to all leap. They go to Baltimore, Baltimore again. You can do whatever you want with drugs, easy. So summing up, I expect this to be successful, this D.C. stuff. The opposition to Donald Trump continues to embarrass itself and be deceitful. Nancy Pelosi, incredibly deceitful. And that's where it stands. And that is the memoir. You're listening to a special edition of the no Spin News. The Talking Points memo is about fanatics. And I mean, this is just amazing to me who would rather see people die than give in to politicians they oppose. And I'm going to run about. It's not going to be more clear of this. But also in that analysis, people pay, most of these pundits, big corporations pay them to do this. So the first thing is the Ukrainian situation, which I am hoping there will be a 30 day ceasefire come out of this on Friday. I'm hearing that as possible. Okay, but it's not going to matter because the Trump haters are going to hate roll of tape. It's terrible because we're throwing the Ukrainians under the bus and playing right into Putin's hands. And on the other hand, it's terrible because it's not going to work. We have to recognize that the big difference between the President and the Europeans and Zelensky is that essentially the Europeans and Zelensky do not want to lose the war. And it does seem that Donald Trump is managing a loss. Seem to whom, madam? I mean, it's just absurd. Managing a loss in what capacity? We're sending high powered weapons to Ukraine. We have organized a response to Putin that is hurting him. Managing a Loss. This is the kind of dishonesty. Maybe it's stupidity. Maybe she's just dumb. And the other guy, too. I don't know them. All right, then you get the reason that Trump is going to Alaska isn't to save lives in Ukraine. No, no, no, no, no, no. It's to divert attention away from Epstein. Go. He wants to distract you. He wants to distract you from the damage his tariffs are doing to our economy. He wants to distract you from Epstein. You need to continue to move forward, and you need to not let him divert his. The media attention away from things like the economy and the Epstein files. That is what he is trying to do here. This is absolutely a distraction from the President's domestic woes, whether it has to do with the Epstein files or the jobless rate. The jobless rate gets 4.3. But remember, these people are paid to do this. They hate them. There's no doubt in my mind. They hate them, Trump, but they're paid to do it. Keep that in mind. Now, when you get this kind of political propaganda out constantly, over and over, not just in the United States, but in Europe as well, certainly in Ukraine, that Trump is a bad guy. He doesn't care about Ukraine. He's trying to get away from Epstein. All this nonsense that a lot of people believe it, okay? They just believe it because they don't know. And they hear it over and over and over and over again. Now, CNN did some honest analysis the other day. A guy named Harry Entin, he's the chief data analyst, he puts out that the Epstein story is pretty much dead. It's down 89% in three weeks. As far as Google searches are concerned, that's a colossal drop. So Americans, you know, they've had enough of Epstein for now. But here's an interesting thing. This will be revived in September because the House Oversight Committee is subpoenaing all these people to come on in and talk about Epstein. And the person that has most to lose is Bill Clinton, former President Clinton. So I asked my staff research what they have on Clinton. This is fascinating. So Clinton apparently took about 18 trips on Epstein's plane. And then my staff says, it's not true that Bill Clinton went to Epstein's island. And that's what I have. Not true. And my staff's the best. I went, ah, I don't think that's accurate. So I, your humble correspondent, kicked into reporter mode. And I found there are two. One sworn affidavit by a victim that Bill Clinton was on the island and a Guy named Doug Band, Bill Clinton's top assistant post presidency, who traveled with Putin on Epstein's plane. He told Vanity Fair they went to the Virgin Islands where Epstein had a property, Epstein Island. I found that out. My staff didn't find it out. Why? Because the mainstream media wouldn't print it. That's why. But I have people who know this case up and down and in and out. So I believe that Bill Clinton was on that island. I also believe that Donald Trump was not. He took eight trips, okay? And most of them, I think all of them between New York City and Palm beach, were both men at properties. Now, finally, this whole Epstein thing was a giant mistake by the Trump administration, but not a calculated mistake. It all began when Attorney General Pam Bondi submitted to an interview with Fox News. And one of the things that you alluded to, and this is something Donald Trump has talked about, the DOJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein's clients. Will that really happen? It's sitting on my desk right now to review. That's been a directive by President Trump. I'm reviewing, reviewing that. I'm reviewing JFK files, MLK files. That's all in the process of being reviewed because that was done at the directive of the president from all of these agencies. So. So have you seen anything that you said? Oh, my gosh, not yet. Okay, so that opened the door, and now it's the Trump haters trying to tie the president to Epstein in some kind of criminal activity. But I got to give the American people credit. They've had enough. But it will gin up again. If I'm Bill Clinton, I'm not happy about this. And he is not a well man. Bill Clinton is not a well man. He's. They're going to subpoena a whole bunch of people. But that's the top risk. Thank you for listening.
