Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Standby for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Wednesday, ABC is asking its viewers to petition the Federal Communications Commission not to audit the network. Apparently Disney, which owns abc, is a bit worried that the Trump administration might wind up sanctioning the operation. The problem here is the view Jimmy Kimmel and World News Tonight. President Trump is not happy with Disney using its media power to harm him. Understandable. It would be easy for ABC to moderate its approach. When I went on the View years ago, Barbara Walters was in charge. The ladies were mostly liberal, but not hateful. Obviously that has changed and Disney signed off on it. That is the morning O'Reilly update. More analysis later on.
Host: Bill O’Reilly
Main Theme: Analysis of ABC/Disney’s Political Positioning and FCC Concerns Under the Trump Administration
In this Morning Edition, Bill O’Reilly examines Disney-owned ABC’s call for viewers to petition the FCC amid fears of a potential federal audit under President Trump’s administration. O’Reilly analyzes how ABC’s political slant, particularly in “The View” and Jimmy Kimmel’s programming, may be provoking the White House and putting Disney in a precarious position.
1. ABC’s FCC Petition and Disney’s Concern
2. Critique of ABC’s Political Tone
3. Hollywood Culture and Disney’s Corporate Choices
Bill O’Reilly uses the episode to dissect Disney/ABC’s current political direction, linking it to ongoing tensions with the Trump administration and the resulting regulatory scrutiny. He argues that a move further left by ABC’s flagship programs, with Disney’s blessing, is both notable and risky—with real-world consequences as federal oversight looms.
