Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up. Standby for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition. On this Tuesday, it's easy to figure out why many members of the Trump administration continue to give access to Fox News. It's well watched by conservatives and generous to the president's men and women. Social media outlets will soon pass FNC's reach, but it will remain a comfort zone for the right. Nothing wrong with that when you consider that the other television news outfits are all committed left. The Trump administration is the most press accessible in history. Unlike many Democrats who boycott opposing points of view, it speaks with the leftist media. I guess the Trumpsters hope to persuade long shot. And you can imagine President Biden speaking with the opposition. Very rarely happen. Getting specific. I don't understand the Jake Tapper thing. CNN loathes Mr. Trump and Tapper is right on board with that. He is deeply enmeshed in the gotcha game, so why bother with him? I'm not getting this at all. I do respect politicians and pundits that mix it up. That is a rapidly shrinking group. But I don't believe in rewarding contrived, deceitful behavior. Both parties should engage the opposition. Just be smart and honest about your agenda. Back in a moment.

That is the Morning O'Reilly update. More analysis later on.
Podcast: Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News and Analysis
Episode: O'Reilly Update Morning Edition, May 26, 2026
Host: Bill O’Reilly
Theme: The ongoing relationship between conservative media, particularly Fox News, and members of the Trump administration; contrast in media engagement strategies between the Trump and Biden administrations; reflections on press accessibility and media bias.
Bill O’Reilly’s May 26, 2026, Morning Edition focuses on the symbiotic relationship between Trump administration figures and Fox News, underlining the latter's role as a reliable platform for conservative voices. He argues that most other television news outlets possess a committed leftward bias, driving conservatives to seek out friendlier venues like FNC. O’Reilly sharply contrasts the Trump team's willingness to engage with even unfriendly media with what he portrays as a Biden-era reluctance to face tough questions from ideological opponents.
Highlighting CNN’s Jake Tapper as the face of “gotcha” journalism, O’Reilly questions the wisdom of Republicans granting interviews to hostile journalists when the outcome seems predetermined. Still, he affirms his respect for public figures willing to debate outside their comfort zone, while cautioning both sides against rewarding bad-faith or dishonest tactics. The tone is straightforward, consistent with O’Reilly’s “No Spin, Just Facts” approach, emphasizing the need for both strategic media engagement and honest discourse in American politics.
