Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly here and I'm warming up standby for the O'Reilly Update Morning Edition.
On this Thursday, a new Harris Harvard poll says Americans are split 5050 over the upcoming midterm vote. Obviously that's bad news for the Democratic Party, which thought it had President Trump and the Republicans on the ropes due to the Iran conflict and higher prices for consumers. The poll, in my opinion, reflects more about lack of leadership on the left than it does about the president's policies. Putting the anti Trump vote aside, what exactly are Democrats selling to the American people? Well, here's a partial rundown. The left does not want to confront Iran, generally favors Hamas over Israeli forces. Wants higher income and corporate taxes, especially a wealth tax which is a seizure of private property. Favors even more government spending on entitlements despite the $40 trillion debt. Supports amnesty for migrants not convicted of violent crimes in America, wants to defund ICE and border enforcement. Objects to military action against drug smugglers supports homeless people living in public spaces. Now that's a very tough list to swallow for non ideological voters and provides a shield to Republicans who are facing higher prices for the essentials of life. So the cliche goes, anything could happen in the midterms. Back in a moment.

Podcast: Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News and Analysis
Episode: O'Reilly Update Morning Edition, May 28, 2026
Host: Bill O'Reilly
Date: May 28, 2026
Theme:
Bill O’Reilly offers a concise, opinionated analysis of the latest Harris Harvard poll results, which show the American electorate evenly split ahead of the midterm elections. He argues that the Democratic Party’s policy positions are out of step with non-ideological voters, giving Republicans a possible advantage despite current economic challenges and international tensions.
“Obviously that’s bad news for the Democratic Party, which thought it had President Trump and the Republicans on the ropes due to the Iran conflict and higher prices for consumers.”

“Putting the anti-Trump vote aside, what exactly are Democrats selling to the American people?”
(02:01)
O’Reilly lists positions he attributes to the Democratic Party, characterizing them as obstacles for broad voter appeal:

“Now that’s a very tough list to swallow for non-ideological voters and provides a shield to Republicans who are facing higher prices for the essentials of life.”

“So the cliche goes, anything could happen in the midterms.”

On the division reflected in polling:
“Americans are split 50-50 over the upcoming midterm vote. Obviously, that's bad news for the Democratic Party...”
— Bill O’Reilly [01:40]
On Democratic policy:
“…especially a wealth tax which is a seizure of private property.”
— Bill O’Reilly [02:30]
On electoral uncertainty:
“So the cliche goes, anything could happen in the midterms.”
— Bill O’Reilly [03:10]
O’Reilly’s tone is direct, opinionated, and critical of Democratic leadership and policies. His analysis frames the election as a reflection not just of partisan divides, but of a void in effective messaging from the left, which he believes may insulate Republicans in a challenging environment. The segment offers listeners a snapshot of his no-nonsense, skeptical perspective on contemporary U.S. politics—“No Spin. Just Facts.” as promised.
