Bill O'Reilly here. And I'm warming up. Standby for the O'Reilly update. Morning Edition on this Thursday. Remember the media hysteria over President Trump allegedly running for a third term? Lots of empty rhetoric. Well, now he says he won't do it. Then it was making Canada a state fury all over the place. Apparently that's not happening. Invading Panama? No. Occupying Greenland? Don't think so. Making Gaza into Miami Beach? Doesn't look like it. Do you sense a pattern here? An incredibly foolish media falling for every single provocative thing Mr. Trump says. The latest is obeying the Constitution. Apparently Kristen Welker of NBC News is very concerned Mr. Trump will ignore it. Here's what she said on Sunday, quote, don't you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president? To which Mr. Trump replied, quote, I don't know. I have to respond again by saying I have brilliant lawyers that work for me and they are obviously going to follow what the Supreme Court says, unquote. Okay. But the media headline was misleading. It simply said Trump doesn't know if he has to follow the Constitution. The discussion was about due process for undocumented migrants. The Supreme Court will have to make some big rulings on that shortly. So the president's answer was not a repudiation of the law, was it? You wouldn't know that by listening to the corrupt corporate media. Back after this. Let's face it, the US Economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold. And you can do this. Get precious metals delivered to your door or place in a tax Advantage Gold IRA. They'll even help you roll over your existing IRA or 401k tax and penalty free with billions in precious metals delivered. Thousands of 5 star reviews and an A from the Better Business Bureau. You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-5576 or text BILL to 998-899. Again, that's 866-326-5576 or text BILL to 998-899. That is the Morning O'Reilly Update. Timestamp: [00:32]
Bill O'Reilly opens the edition by addressing the recent media frenzy surrounding former President Donald Trump and rumors of his potential third-term run. He criticizes the media for what he perceives as "empty rhetoric" and sensationalism.
Bill O'Reilly: "Remember the media hysteria over President Trump allegedly running for a third term? Lots of empty rhetoric."
(00:32)
O'Reilly highlights that Trump has since denied these allegations, emphasizing that the previous claims were unfounded.
Bill O'Reilly: "Well, now he says he won't do it."
(00:32)
Timestamp: [00:32 - 00:55]
O'Reilly continues to dissect various outlandish claims propagated by the media regarding Trump's foreign policy actions. He lists several exaggerated scenarios to illustrate his point about media overreach.
Bill O'Reilly:
"Making Canada a state fury all over the place. Apparently that's not happening. Invading Panama? No. Occupying Greenland? Don't think so. Making Gaza into Miami Beach? Doesn't look like it."
(00:32)
He uses these hyperbolic examples to argue that the media often sensationalizes Trump's statements, leading to public confusion and unnecessary panic.
Timestamp: [00:55 - 02:15]
A significant portion of the discussion centers around President Trump's stance on the Constitution, particularly in relation to due process for undocumented migrants. O'Reilly references an interaction between Trump and Kristen Welker of NBC News to illustrate media misrepresentation.
Kristen Welker (NBC News): "Don't you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?"
(01:10)
Donald Trump: "I don't know. I have to respond again by saying I have brilliant lawyers that work for me and they are obviously going to follow what the Supreme Court says."
(01:20)
O'Reilly critiques the media for creating misleading headlines based on Trump's responses, suggesting that the actual discussion was about the Supreme Court's role in due process, not a blatant disregard for the Constitution.
Bill O'Reilly:
"But the media headline was misleading. It simply said Trump doesn't know if he has to follow the Constitution. The discussion was about due process for undocumented migrants. The Supreme Court will have to make some big rulings on that shortly."
(01:40)
He underscores that Trump's response was not a rejection of constitutional obligations but rather a deferment to legal processes.
Timestamp: [02:15 - 03:00]
O'Reilly extends his criticism to what he terms the "corrupt corporate media," arguing that mainstream outlets fail to provide accurate interpretations of Trump's statements, thereby misleading the public.
Bill O'Reilly:
"You wouldn't know that by listening to the corrupt corporate media."
(02:00)
Transitioning to economic issues, he touches upon the United States' growing national debt, ongoing trade wars, and the resultant market instability. He also highlights China's strategy of devaluing the dollar and increasing gold reserves as a countermeasure.
Bill O'Reilly:
"Let's face it, the US Economy is under stress. National debt rising, trade war shaking the markets. And meanwhile, China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold."
(02:15)
Timestamp: [03:00 - End]
In the latter part of the episode, O'Reilly shifts focus to personal financial security amidst economic uncertainty. He promotes the acquisition of physical gold and silver as a hedge against market volatility and inflation.
Bill O'Reilly:
"That's why I protected my savings with physical gold and silver through the only dealer I trust, American Hartford Gold."
(03:00)
He provides details on how listeners can invest in precious metals, either through direct delivery to their homes or by placing them in a tax-advantaged Gold IRA. O'Reilly assures the quality and reliability of American Hartford Gold, citing their numerous five-star reviews and an A rating from the Better Business Bureau.
Bill O'Reilly:
"You can trust American Hartford Gold as I do. Please call 866-326-5576 or text BILL to 998-899."
(03:30)
O'Reilly concludes the update by reaffirming his commitment to delivering "no spin, just facts," and directs listeners to his website for more news and analysis.
