Bill O'Reilly
I'm Bill O'Reilly. You're listening to around the World. Let's begin. Paramount, the entertainment company, is buying Warner Brothers, the entertainment company. Okay. It's a big deal. It's like more than $100 billion or whatever. And the Justice Department has okayed the sale, saying it's not a monopoly, it can go through. And so Warner Brothers will evaporate. Now Warner Brothers puts out CBS News, cnn, mostly a liberal corporation. Paramount is run by the Ellisons, who are not liberal. So this is causing a lot of trouble. Now, you have heard in the past, I'm sure people say, oh, no, CNN and NBC and ABC News, they're not liberal. No, no, no. They're not fair. Now, you believe that we could do the bridge analogy.
Doug
Okay?
Bill O'Reilly
But come on, I mean, believe what you see and hear. So 12 states are furious and they're suing for antitrust violations. They don't want this sale. They're pointing to the Clayton act, which says that states can have relief when they believe a merger threatens competition. Okay, but anybody can believe anything. And the Justice Department has the power, federal law trumps state law, even in civil matters, to do this. So these states, these liberal states are going to lose, in my opinion. All right, California is the lead on it. Yeah, we, we all know what that state, California, New York, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. Other than Nevada, which is kind of a split situation, they're all left wing states. And the attorneys general decide what, who they're going to sue and what? They're not going to sue. So I got a kick out of now the indignation on the left, which is a stranglehold over television. You know, you know that Kimmel and Colbert and all the news agencies and I mean all of them except for Fox
Doug
now.
Bill O'Reilly
Oh, no, no, no, no. We can't have this sale. The worst of the worst is Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut. Go. But the biggest problem is that this is a nightmare for free speech because the Ellison family, which is going to run Paramount and Warner Brothers, which includes both CBS and cnn, have made it clear that they are going to do whatever Trump wants. Well, number one, nobody's made it clear they're going to do whatever Trump wants. And Murphy couldn't back that up in a second. Number two, free speech, Senator. Free speech. We have run down the statistics that show prove that a conservative author, pundit, moviemaker, anybody not liberal cannot get on CNN and CBS News. They're banned. Free speech. What a crock. Okay, but this is the propaganda game like you have it now you don't. Maybe Paramount under the Ellisons will book across the board with. Which is what they should do, which is what I did for more than 20 years on Fox. You don't see too many liberals on Fox anymore. But when I was there, we had liberals every day because we wanted that spirited debate. And this is worse. So you remember this guy Jim Acosta who got booted out of cnn? He was too radical for cnn. This guy Acosta, roll him.
Liberal Commentator
I can only report to you what I see with my own eyes. An assault on our freedom of speech and the free press in America by the most powerful man in the world who is taking us all down the road of Putin or China style state dominated or state controlled media in this country owned by the oligarchs in service to Trump and maga. All in the name of special treatment for the wealthiest Americans and at the expense of everyone else. Ladies and gentlemen, the news does not belong to the oligarchs. It belongs to us.
Bill O'Reilly
Yes, sure. Number one, the oligarchs run Hollywood. Hey, Jim. Hello. They run it top to bottom. The left wing oligarchs run Hollywood. What are you talking about? It's so. And this whole thing. Oh, oh, maga.
Doug
Oh, oh.
Bill O'Reilly
Trump did it. Now, is it true that Donald Trump wants a media that's kinder to him?
Doug
Yes.
Bill O'Reilly
Wouldn't you? Every day the hate Trumpers like Acosta and Murphy come out and they have forums all over the place. I call up ABC News. Good morning. America. I say, hey, I got a big book coming out, probably break number one, Confronting America with Acid Change. Can you book me on gma? There's no way. Even though I've been on that program before, this progressive propaganda wave many times and they always got high ratings. Now, there's no way that's freedom of speech. Yeah, the oligarchs are controlling, but they're controlling it from your side. Acosta so dishonest. And that's what really rankles me. Now this case is being heard in the Northern District of California, which means that they'll rule against Paramount because that's where the court is and that's what they do there. It's a liberal situation, but then on appeal it'll come back and it'll be federal law supersedes state law. So this merger will go forward. And just as a kicker, if you still don't believe me. All right, here are the people that have already left. Paul. Paula Reed, she quit CNN to join Ms. Now she was supposed to be a reporter. What are you doing? Stephanie Elam, Same thing. Raphael Solomon. Same thing. All quit cnn. Going over to liberal networks. Scott Pelley, Sharon Alfonsi, Cecilia Vega, they were fired because they were biased. And Anderson Kubrick says he doesn't want to work for them. Good, good.
Sid Rosenberg
Don't.
Bill O'Reilly
So we all know what the game is, and this is a very interesting case and we will follow it. Here's my News Nation appearance with Leland Vitter.
Simone
Today, Trump posted a clip from my May interview with Bill O'Reilly. O'Reilly then warned Republicans need to stay close to Trump.
Bill O'Reilly
If you think that you can cut loose the most charismatic populist president in the last 50 years, you're crazy. You can't. And if you try, you're going to get slaughtered.
Simone
Why do you think the president reposted that clip of you today? What message was he trying to send?
Bill O'Reilly
Well, he knows how brilliant I am. And once we associate it with that brilliance, you know what I said is absolutely true. It's going to be a very close midterm election machine or not. And that if you are in the Republican precinct and you go against a still popular leader, you lose. That's just analysis. That's not partisanship. And so you think Susan Collins, for
Simone
example, in Maine should get a lot closer to Donald Trump.
Bill O'Reilly
I'm not sure about Ms. Collins. That's a totally unique situation in Maine, particularly with the shooting from ice up there. That's a crazy situation. But in a standard voting scenario, you stick with the winner and so that was the message that I put out there. And apparently the President liked it.
Simone
Do you believe, as I do, that Thursday's speech is about trying to pressure the Senate to pass the SAVE Act? And why spend political capital on something that's not going to happen?
Bill O'Reilly
It's a good question. I have to see what he's got. And it's not fair to analyze something we don't know.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah.
Bill O'Reilly
So if the President has really hard information that Russia, and that's what we're talking about, got into our electoral system and influenced the vote, no matter how they did it, Nation needs to hone in on that. That's not just a frivolity. Now, knowing Donald Trump, he can deal with six or seven other issues, which I think he's going to have to, particularly Iran as that heats up over there. And then there's the affordability, which I wrote a column on bill o'reilly.com I hope you read it. And you should read all my columns. Yeah, okay.
Simone
I have an, I have an email alert for them, Bill, but I want to, I want to get back to this. Okay. Because you invest.
Sid Rosenberg
No, no, no.
Bill O'Reilly
Let me make, let me make my point. Affordability. We just heard it on Cuomo's show. He brings on a guy who wrote a book. Cuomo asks a logical question, how do you deal with affordability? The guy totally, totally avoids the question, dodges the question because he doesn't have anything. The Democrats don't have anything. I have no solutions. Now, if Trump takes the time on is it tomorrow night or Thursday night?
Simone
Thursday.
Bill O'Reilly
Thursday night. Okay. Takes the time to explain affordability and what his administration is doing, that would be a good thing for the President to do. So he's got affordability, he's got Iran and he's got Russia poking around in our vote. You can cover those three things and I hope he does okay.
Simone
So you investigated the 2020 claims by President Trump six years ago. You lost a lot of viewers and subscribers to Billorilly.com because you didn't believe him. You said the evidence isn't there. I questioned Trump's claims during the 2020 elections, cuz I didn't see the evidence and wasn't being provided. I was invited not to return to my job because of it. What evidence would there need to be to make just politically relitigating something that is terrible for Republicans to talk about worth it?
Bill O'Reilly
Well, Putin did this, Putin did that. Arizona was impacted this way, Michigan was impacted that way. Specific, specific, specific. Now look back in 20. I didn't have subpoena power. I don't have it now. So my investigation is dependent upon people who are on the scene, like William Barr, the attorney general at the time. So I'm leaning on him to guide me into an area of yes or no. If it's yes, how big is it? We also checked in with the Supreme Court Justice Alito, who was in Pennsylvania overseeing this. Now, Barr and Alito, both honest men, in my opinion, didn't have enough to present it to the Justice Department. That's the fact.
Doug
Yep.
Bill O'Reilly
But maybe now there's more. So what's wrong with hearing the more?
Doug
I'm not.
Simone
It's a question whether it's right or wrong or anything else to hear it. I'm thinking from a political standpoint. I Every time Donald Trump brings up 2020, it is harmful to Republicans because every Republican is forced to answer for it by the media, fair or not. That's just the way the cookie crumbles again. What needs to be there to make it worth it to relitigate this hard
Bill O'Reilly
evidence that Russia did X, Y and Z and it paid off for Biden?
Simone
You think Fox News gets their $787 million back?
Bill O'Reilly
No, because that's a totally different story.
Katie Pavlich
I know.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay, look, you're an honest journalist. I'm an honest journalist. We did our best to find out the level of voter fraud accusations. We don't have subpoena power. We can't go into state records.
Simone
You said.
Bill O'Reilly
But in my estimation, and I believe yours, we came to the conclusion in the public arena there was not enough to challenge this election. Now that could change on Thursday night.
Simone
No, it certainly could change. It certainly could. It certainly could. This appears to be tied to this last ditch effort to pass the SAVE Act. And President Trump when talking about Lindsey Graham. I'm going to get your thought on that in a second. Said that this was the most important thing to Lindsey Graham. Lindsey Graham was a pragmatist. He knew the votes weren't there in the Senate. They're not there. Why keep pushing for this if it's not what Trump will blame a midterm loss on? Republicans lose, he says, look, it's not me. It is the fact that the Senate did not pass the SAVE Act. They didn't. They weren't Trumpy enough.
Bill O'Reilly
It's Republicans fault because it's passionate on his part. It enveloped him and he believes it 100% that there was voter fraud. It's not like a policy. This is personal, like in the Godfather. Okay. It's Business, not personal, Sonny. This is personal to him.
Sid Rosenberg
Yep.
Bill O'Reilly
And always has been. I mean, it drove him nuts to lose to Biden. He does not believe that that election was fair. So psychologically I understand if you're going to get new information, you want to put it out there.
Sid Rosenberg
All right.
Simone
I want to get you on Lindsey Graham because I think both of you, both you and I had a lot of respect for him, may have disagreed or agreed, but a lot of respect for him. Here is part of your interview with Lindsey Graham, one of the last before he died.
Bill O'Reilly
Does it know anything? Well, have you seen that across?
Hunter Biden
Here's what I've seen. When I first started this business, you got rewarded for problem solving and, you know, sort of knowing what you're talking about. All the energy now is to loud, not knowledgeable, just loud.
Simone
I was her talking him talking about aoc. President Trump, who I know you speak to a lot. I think he feels like he lost a real friend and ally here.
Bill O'Reilly
Well, he did. He like Graham. Graham would play miniature golf with him or whatever they're doing out there. I don't know what they're doing.
Simone
You always got to dog golf. Why do you always have to dog golf?
Bill O'Reilly
I have many reasons, but I don't want to waste time on it now. The windmill confuses me. He trusted Trump, trusted Lindsey Graham, and Trump does not trust many elected politicians. That was number one. Now, what's interesting about that interview, it was the last extensive interview that Senator Graham gave, is that Senator Graham's passions were built around the nobility of America, that we must use hard power to right wrongs, like I wrote in Confronting Evil. And you can see the whole interview on billoriley.com, we have the whole thing. It's 45 minutes long. And he has never wavered from that. Lindsey Graham. He basically says, I'm a hard power guy. If there's something wrong in the world, something that needs to be corrected, we're the only ones going to do it. Now, there is a soft power crew led by Barack Obama who see it the opposite way. But that's a good debate to have. And Graham, I was on a phone call. I guess I shouldn't even say this, but I was on a phone call with Graham and the president, all right, about a year ago, I think. And they were talking about Putin and Ukraine and Ukraine obsessed Lindsey Graham. Yeah, I didn't say much on that call. My job isn't to butt in. My job is to assess information. Trump listened to what Senator Graham said, but he didn't buy it. So it wasn't like Graham would come in there and say, hey, Mr. President, you got to do this, and Trump would jump up and do it. That's not what that relationship was built on. Trump wanted to hear the hard power point of view.
Simone
There was nobody better at advocating for his position. What you said, the nobility of America than Lindsey Graham. Bill, thank you as always. Great to have you.
Bill O'Reilly
Here's my Weekly appearance with wors Mark
Sid Rosenberg
Simone,
Mark
Bill O'Reilly, how you doing?
Sid Rosenberg
Good.
Doug
Cindy Adams gave me a nice review on Confronting America. What has to change. The woman is an amazing I think she's 95, isn't she?
Leland Vitter
95.
Mark
Still goes out every night. Still running around town at 95. Pretty good.
Doug
That's probably why she's 95.
Sid Rosenberg
So but anyway, we're, you know, I
Doug
have to write her a note. It was a very nice review of Confronting America out September 15th. Can pre order on billow reilly.com it's gonna be a big book because it's surprising, you know, and I give solutions, unlike most politicians and pundits I say is a problem. Here's what we have to do to solve it and that you don't see that very much anymore.
Liberal Commentator
Yeah.
Mark
Hey, we were talking about this earlier. About 10 years ago, the news media went totally corrupt and totally slanted. I mean, it was always a little slant, but then it just went totally nuts. They just don't cover anything bad about any Democrat ever. And if there is something bad, most people don't get to hear about it. You've been in that business all your life. How do you ever fix that?
Doug
You can fix it. It's not going to be quickly. So it happened because of Trump himself. And it's an interesting evolution. So in the beginning, the media laughed
Sid Rosenberg
at Donald Trump, the Apprentice guy and
Doug
the guy with the hair and a guy running around, he's got no chance and Jeb Bush will kick his butt. And then they had the debate and Trump just destroyed the Republican competition, made them look foolish by running as a populist and saying to the American people, look, you want to vote for these guys, they're not going to help you. I will. And the public bought it. Once it turned, once the polls started to turn in Trump's favor, the news media goes, no, we can't have that because he's not in anybody's pocket. See, that's the key thing that WOR listeners have to understand.
Sid Rosenberg
The media wants politicians dependent on it.
Doug
So you got to bow down before FOX News or the New York Times or cnn, and you gotta pretty much
Sid Rosenberg
do what they want.
Doug
And Trump had no interest in doing that at all.
Sid Rosenberg
I don't even think he thought about it.
Doug
He thought he was gonna get a fair shake.
Sid Rosenberg
I told him very early on, I
Doug
said, there's no way a guy like you outside the system who's coming in to shake things up is gonna get a fair play. They're gonna try to hurt you and your family. And that's what happened.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah.
Mark
So I guess the minds of most mainstream media, they felt Trump was so evil, we'll do whatever we have to do to stop him.
Sid Rosenberg
But then that's correct.
Doug
And they even printed that in the New York Times. There was an article, forget the guy's name, but he's been around a long time, haven't seen him lately. And it said, look, the rules of journalism. And at one time there were rules,
Sid Rosenberg
they don't apply to Donald Trump.
Doug
Okay? So we're going to just do advocacy and our advocacy.
Sid Rosenberg
He's bad, you can't vote for him
Doug
and we're going to try to hurt him.
Sid Rosenberg
And they put it Colford.
Doug
That was the guy's name, Paul Culford. C O L F O R D.
Sid Rosenberg
He wrote it in the paper.
Doug
And all of the others television networks followed that lead, with the exception of Fox, which said, no, we can make
Sid Rosenberg
money liking Trump,
Doug
so we can make
Sid Rosenberg
money liking him, so we're going to like him.
Doug
The others said, we can make money hating him. This is television, So I hate him. And that's how it all evolved. Now, to unravel all of that, need very strong leadership. You can't get the government involved because the government's going to try to use the media for its own purposes, let's be honest. But you need strong leadership at the top of these media companies. And unfortunately, most of these people are money men. All I care is profit, profit, profit, profit. That's all they care about. They don't care about the country.
Sid Rosenberg
The one thing that's different now is
Doug
the social media where I live, okay? Because nobody can control me. I run my own corporations and we do put forth an honest presentation.
Liberal Commentator
Yeah.
Mark
So. But they kind of got used to this business model of being totally slanted. Totally. And they've. They used it on Trump, but now they use it to protect Platner. They use it to protect Mom. Donnie. It's too widespread now to ever stop, isn't it?
Sid Rosenberg
Yeah, but I don't know if it's hopeless.
Doug
But the media as it stands, and that's going to change now with the Paramount merger and CNN is going to, they're going to wipe out all their primetime people are going to be gone. CBS is not what it used to be in the sense that they have, they have managers going over every word, every word that these correspondents say because they knew it was so far out of control.
Sid Rosenberg
So I'm, I'm not hopeless about it.
Mark
Okay?
Doug
But the reason, the reason that the left wing press wants to
Sid Rosenberg
prop up a guy like Platner in Maine is
Doug
because they hate Republicans. Republicans are now attached to Trump, the MAGA movement. So they want Democrats to win all the races.
Sid Rosenberg
Even if it's Mamdani, they want him to win.
Doug
Yeah.
Mark
Hey, let's talk about Lindsey Graham, your podcast. We'll do it live. A lot of episodes out now. Great episodes. The Lindsey Graham one was fascinating. Brilliant guy.
Doug
Yeah, it was the last extensive interview he did. And you know, it's just lucky that I got it. And it's 45 minutes about Iran and
Sid Rosenberg
the big picture there.
Doug
And that still has not gone President Trump's way. Iran. Now I'm still hoping because it's better for the world if Iran goes down, and I mean goes down. So I'm still hoping that that will happen. But Graham laid out a pretty persuasive case that look, this country for 50 years has been sanctioning terrorism and what hundreds of thousands of people have been killed, including US Service people in Iraq by Iran. I wrote about that in killing the killers and how in the first administration Trump tracked down Soleimani and they destroyed isis and they being Obama was part of that. He doesn't get any credit for it, but Obama was part of that. Obama made mistakes but rectified and then threw a lot of stuff at these terrorism.
Sid Rosenberg
But always behind the curtain was Iran.
Doug
And so enough's enough, right? You would think that the nuclear weapon thing. And here's the kicker on this. So I was debating on television a bunch of people, lefties, all of them saying, oh, Iran didn't have capacity to build a nuclear weapon. And I go, how do you know? Every intelligence report that the United States and Israel have, and NATO as well says that the mullahs are very close to enriching uranium and building a bomb, everyone.
Sid Rosenberg
And now we find out, okay, that the moas admit it. They admit it.
Doug
And there are satellite pictures showing the blue, the uranium mines underground, rebuilding.
Sid Rosenberg
Now, then you don't hear anything.
Doug
Then you hear no silence from the left who made the erroneous claim in the first Place an absurd claim.
Sid Rosenberg
Because. Because how would they know? How would you know? There's nobody in Iran.
Doug
There's no reporting there. That's why it's so hard to get
Sid Rosenberg
information out of there.
Mark
Yeah, but you know how Trump works. They like to say he's got no plan. It's chaos. But you know, Trump will just jump in course. Correct. Constantly until he figures it out. In the end, it should be okay, shouldn't it?
Sid Rosenberg
I don't know.
Doug
You know, he doesn't want to, he doesn't want to kill civilians. And it would kill. And off we really go after the infrastructure of Iran. I estimated be 50,000 civilians laying in the street.
Sid Rosenberg
Yeah.
Doug
Now he doesn't want that on his resume.
Katie Pavlich
No.
Doug
And that's with the only thing that's holding up the mullahs that he, he, the President of the United States has not gone in to just wreck the Iranian. That means you couldn't make a cell phone call. You have a hard time going to
Sid Rosenberg
the market to get food.
Doug
I mean, you use are devastating that place like the United States did to Japan and the allies did to Germany. That's how you end conflicts like this. But Trump does not want to do it. And I'm not criticizing the president. He's been very honest with me about it. He doesn't want 50,000 dead civilians. Yeah.
Mark
Well, I wish we had more time, but we don't. But Bill O'Reilly's. You should get his latest book. It's a wonderful book. Great review today from Cindy Adams. The book is called Confronting America. You can order it right now. Pre order it.
Doug
Thanks for having me, Simone.
Sid Rosenberg
I always enjoy talking to you.
Bill O'Reilly
Listen to me as I join News Nation.
Katie Pavlich
Vice President JD Vance went on Joe Rogan's podcast today and Joe pressed him on Israel's influence on the U.S. vance is trying to clear the air here and, you know, tell him about what's happening behind the scenes and shut down the narrative that Israel pushed the US into this war. But where did this narrative come from in the first place?
Bill O'Reilly
So he's been there, the Israeli lobby, they call it in D.C. where you live. And certain presidents have closer relationship with Israel. Barack Obama did not, but Bush the Younger, you know, did. So all I can tell you is that nobody pushes Donald Trump into anything. And I had a long conversation with the president when the hostages negotiations were going on with Hamas. And it was clear to me that yes, Israel pressured Donald Trump to do certain things, but Trump wasn't going to do anything unless he felt it was best For America. I think that this latest thing is because Mossad got information. And you reported it. I reported it. That all the mullahs would be in the same place at the same time.
Katie Pavlich
Right. That's the key.
Bill O'Reilly
I think that was at the end of February.
Katie Pavlich
This is the key. Yes.
Sid Rosenberg
Right.
Bill O'Reilly
And so Trump called the Pentagon in and his intel people in and said, okay, if that's true and we can get them all at once, we could break the country. Maybe they'll rise up and overthrow this theocracy. So that's what happened. But that's not a push. That's more of a, here's the information. We have an opportunity. And President Trump took the opportunity. At the same time, I said this was the biggest risk he had ever taken in his life, because I knew that it wasn't going to come down in an easy fashion.
Katie Pavlich
But what about the narrative, too, on the Israel issue, that this. This is Israel's war, the United States has no interest here, and the President should have never taken the risk that you talk about. I mean, I could go on and on and on about the history of the Iranian regime, the hundreds of Americans they have killed, the hundreds of US Troops they've maimed in Iraq, but where does that come from? I mean, this idea that this is just something the President is doing at the behest of Israel is completely detached from reality.
Bill O'Reilly
Well, it's an ignorant view. I wrote a book called Killing the Killers, which chronicled Donald Trump and Barack Obama's attempts to break the cycle of terrorism in the Middle east, which was and is funded by Iran. So both presidents agreed we have to try to stop this. And then the element of uranium enrichment adds a bit of urgency. So anybody that says. And people have. I mean, I've debated them on television, oh, Iran is enabled to develop a nuclear weapon. You're looking at them and you go, that goes against every single intelligence assessment in the world. Pretty much in the world.
Katie Pavlich
Yeah.
Bill O'Reilly
But you somehow. You punned it on television, you know, that Iran can't enrich uranium to a degree that a bomb could be created.
Doug
How do you know that?
Bill O'Reilly
And then.
Katie Pavlich
Well, the Iranians were saying they were doing it, too, at the same time, and they were openly saying they were doing it.
Bill O'Reilly
But we have to be skeptical of everything the Iranians say.
Katie Pavlich
True.
Bill O'Reilly
But anyway, the point of the matter is that people say stuff. They can't back it up. They believe what they want to believe. And the Democratic Party, almost 100% believe that Donald Trump got us into a bad situation with Iran. And that Israel helped do that.
Katie Pavlich
Democrats are again trying to make headlines by vilifying ice. You had the president reversing a decision by DHS today to stop traffic stops. Those are now back in play. Chuck Schumer is threatening to shut down the government again ahead of the midterm elections for the sake of funding ice. Why is it that they continue to use the this as a way to get at the president when the majority of Americans support deporting violent criminals and Democrats have a problem with not being able to say we're going to stand up for American citizens over criminality who has entered the country illegally?
Bill O'Reilly
Well, you're doing two questions. You're doing a macro and a micro. So the five people who have been killed. Let's see.
Leland Vitter
Two.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah, five. Now, that's not a good look, of course. It's just not okay.
Katie Pavlich
Okay. There's a lot of other stuff ICE is doing, and the media is focusing on those few cases rather than.
Bill O'Reilly
But that's always going to be the
Katie Pavlich
people that are taking.
Bill O'Reilly
You don't have an honest media in the country, and that's just the way it is. So you got to deal with reality. Now, if I were President Trump, I would not have stopped the order to go lighter on the car chases. I wouldn't have done that. I would have said, we'll have a decision for you in 10 days. And then explain the decision. Because you're correct. Most Americans don't want this chaos that was 100% caused by the Democratic Party. Now, they'll remember that. The voter in November will remember that. But Maine, for example, it was almost a lock. Susan Collins, the Republican, would win after this nut Platner was exposed. But now with the dead migrant. All right, now it's back in play because independent voters definitely by demand and
Katie Pavlich
by, you know, they're doing that on purpose. You know that. You know, this is very strategic. They're organized. We've covered the ICE riots outside of the facilities live. I mean, these people show up when they're told, they leave when they're told they're being paid. This is no doubt by design, but people believe it.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay? So you have to always keep. You may know how this is structured and I know, but people believe what they want to believe, and that is an advantage to the Democrats. If this didn't happen, trust me on this, Susan Collins would have walked away with a victory here. Now, how long it lasts, I don't know.
Katie Pavlich
Right.
Bill O'Reilly
But President Trump should show as much compassion as possible in this. But still, do his job, but still get rid of criminal alien. Look, I'll give you a story, Katie. I don't know whether you've covered it or not, but this Tim Walsh who
Katie Pavlich
ran for vice president, we definitely covered it. Yeah.
Bill O'Reilly
Allowing.
Katie Pavlich
Yep.
Bill O'Reilly
Allowing this Laotian child rapist to stay in Minnesota.
Doug
Yeah.
Bill O'Reilly
I mean, the Republicans should run with that all day long, Right? That's insane. That's terrifying.
Katie Pavlich
Yeah. It was smart for Rubio to jump on that and get the guy out of the country and deport him. I mean, that was.
Bill O'Reilly
Yeah, he got the guy out of the country, but it didn't. It. See, I didn't know about it until yesterday that Rubio intervened. Rubio should have been out there 10 seconds after the guy was on the plane. I mean, this is a war of public relations now, in addition to reality.
Katie Pavlich
Yeah, no, that's absolutely true. It was reported this week that HHS is walking back a pledge to block Medicare and Medicaid funding for hospitals that provide irreversible gender transgender surgeries and hormone treatment for children. What do you think is behind that walk back? It seemed like a pretty easy sell to the public to go through with that.
Bill O'Reilly
I don't know. I'm. I'm not involved in that Washington merry go round, so I don't know who's behind this or what the agenda is. I do know there's big money on the progressive side, you know, trying to get as many benefits as possible into this trans arena. For me, I don't know. Okay. I don't want to see anybody unhappy or brutalized. I don't. But this is not an issue that should be in the forefront of anybody's thinking. If these people need help, let's give them help. But, you know, to formalize legislation around it. Oh, my God. Well, it's in the medical school, self
Katie Pavlich
inflicted wound and the medical community and in doctor's offices, there was this doctor telling Congress that it's not just women who can get pregnant.
Bill O'Reilly
Listen, of course the vast majority of pregnancies are in women. And I have absolutely no problem with using the word pregnant women. I use it myself.
Katie Pavlich
Has a non biological woman ever had a baby?
Bill O'Reilly
A transgender person can.
Katie Pavlich
That's not a biological woman. The vast majority of women can have babies. I mean, only women can have babies, though. And medical professionals are testifying in front of Congress in the Congressional Record about this and acting like that's normal.
Bill O'Reilly
Right. I don't know any trans women who have babies. So let's parade them on out if that's true. Look, again, this is just hurts the Democratic Party. It puts the nut label on them. That's the strongest thing the Republicans have going for it right now is that you may not like us, but they're so much worse and that's where we are. But again, things are going to change.
Katie Pavlich
Well, President Joe Biden is back. He is coming out with a new book about his time in office. His son Hunter, who has been all over the place, was asked about President Trump in a recent interview. What do you make of, of Joe's book coming out in November, just two weeks after the midterm elections?
Bill O'Reilly
Well, it was supposed to come out in September, but it isn't. Do you know why?
Katie Pavlich
Well, I think that Democrats probably don't want Joe Biden taking up all the oxygen on the campaign trail and reminding everybody of what was as they're trying to win back power.
Bill O'Reilly
That's a very good answer. But the answer is my book's coming out September.
Katie Pavlich
There you go. Even more importantly,
Bill O'Reilly
confronting America what has to change. And now the public publishing industry is in such contraction. Okay. That publishers go, we can't have our product up against the product we know is going to kick its butt.
Katie Pavlich
What do you make of Hunter Biden now doing this kind of, you know, no pun intended, rehab tour of himself and also trying to get ahead of the his dad's book in and out there, trying to get some good pr, dropping a few f bombs along the way.
Hunter Biden
I would tell him to go his self. That's what I would tell him and please leave. I mean, like, like I can be, I can be civil and I can tell you, like, oh, listen, I, he's the president. I don't want him to be pissed off. I mean, you know, like he's the President of the United States. Well, obviously. Wouldn't you want to have a constructive dad? This man has tried to torture me for 10 years. He says, he says about my dad, I'm a Christian.
Bill O'Reilly
I'm willing to forgive Hunter Biden if he asks for forgiveness. I want forgiveness for myself. I think Hunter Biden is a poltroon. P o L T R o o n. I think he is amusing to us in the media who are looking for something to do on Thursday because the guy has no control over himself at all. He'll say anything. I don't know if he'll do anything, but I wish he'd pay attention to his little daughter more than run around spouting propaganda. And I'm saying that to Hunter Biden as man to man here you know, maybe you want to spend a little time with your daughter.
Hunter Biden
Okay.
Bill O'Reilly
Rather than doing all his nonsense.
Katie Pavlich
Getting a family to acknowledge her would be a good start. So good advice and of course, we will be watching for your book. Bill, thank you for being here. We appreciate it. Always good to talk to you.
Bill O'Reilly
Please join me and Sid Rosenberg on WABC Radio.
Mark
Bill, the talk today is this interview that Joe Rogan, who I think is overrated, Buddy makes a lot of money and he's got a lot of listeners. So I got to give him the respect he deserves. But I watch him, I just don't get it either way.
Leland Vitter
He had the vice President on yesterday for three hours. J.D. vance was there for three hours. I played a couple of clips this morning, particularly where he talks about Israel and Jeffrey Epstein. It was with the Mossad and the CIA. I gather you saw it. Any opinion on J.D. vance yesterday?
Sid Rosenberg
Well, look, Vance has a different point of view than Trump and people should understand that that's a healthy thing because you don't want just lock step. But for me, when I watch the vice President, I'm not seeing a lot of frame of reference. What does that mean? So when you're going to talk about a very serious thing with the American people, you have to bring them some kind of stuff or wisdom they don't know. You can't do the social media, you can't do the pundits for the propaganda. And I think that vice president lives in the world of social media. And that to me is if he's going to run for president, going to hurt him. Whereas Rubio, his main rival, is much more worldly, he's much more in tune with problem solving than Vance. And Vance is more of a theoretician. So the Rogan thing, I'm with you. I could never get on the program. I don't care to do three hours, even with you. I'm full asleep. I'm sorry. I'm taking a nap. All right. So within, you know, an hour and a half, two hours, I'm out, I'm asleep. And I don't know what you use but to sit there for three hours. I'm sorry. And Rogan doesn't like me anyway. I don't know why. Maybe because I don't have a tattoo. I don't know. Get a tattoo. It's one of the temporary ones the kids get where you peel off because Rogan sold some books, you know, so,
Mark
you know, he does.
Sid Rosenberg
It's work going on there, but not for three hours, in my opinion. So I, I didn't learn anything much from. I didn't see the whole interview, but the clips of Rogue Advance. Did you learn anything? Oh, no.
Leland Vitter
I've heard the Jeffrey Epstein Massad CIA thing from various people and podcasters forever. And, you know, the fact that there's Israeli money out there that's going against Vance and trying to embarrass them every day and trying to kill the Iran deal. I've heard all these things, mostly. Mostly from people who I deem anti Semitic podcasters.
Mark
So nothing shocked me yesterday.
Leland Vitter
And for him to say, for him to say that, oh, people think I'm run by Tucker Carlson, like Trump is run by Bibi.
Mark
You bet your ass I think that.
Leland Vitter
And you just said it. JD Vance lives in the social media slash podcast the world, and you cannot do that if you're the Vice President of the United States.
Sid Rosenberg
We asked him two weeks ago to come on with me on an interview thing, and they were rude to us. His people were rude.
Leland Vitter
Really? Really?
Sid Rosenberg
Yeah. And now I had had one, I don't know, six months ago. And the interview was good because I pinned them down. You know, if you're going to say stuff to me, you got to be able to back it up. You know, that I don't believe. And we, O'Reilly and Rosenberg depart here. I don't believe that Tucker Carlson runs J.D. vance. I don't. I don't think he has access. I don't think they talk a lot. But Vance is aware of that movement. He's aware of it. And I'm not going to say that Vance does anything in his presentation to pander to it, but he certainly hasn't criticized it. So to me, as a journalist, when I hear these things about is Real or whatever it may be, I'm going to challenge that. I'm going to say, how do you know that? Or what are you bringing to the table that we don't know? And then usually you get silenced. And that's why a lot of politicians from both parties will not come on with me, because they know I'm not going to just let them say what they want to say. They're going to have to back it
Mark
up 100%, which every interviewer should do. But that's why you're the best ever.
Leland Vitter
You know, you mentioned Israel. Bibi was on this show Monday. He was terrific. And he called in. He called in. I didn't book him because his people contacted me and said he wants to say nice things about Lindsey Graham, like most people do.
Mark
You know, I mean, there's a lot of folks out there, too, that hate him. He's a warmonger and he loves Israel and he loves Ukraine. Bill O'Reilly, how did you feel about Lindsey Graham?
Sid Rosenberg
I did the last extensive interview with him on We'll Do It Live. It's up on billow riley.com 45 minutes. And that was the beginning of the Iranian conflict.
Leland Vitter
So just a couple of months ago.
Sid Rosenberg
Yeah. Oh, the last one, you know, he did a couple of pops with people, but they were short. This was 45 minutes. And I grilled them, as I do with everybody about motive, intent, determination. And from the very beginning, my posture was that this is the right thing to do for the world by trying to disarm a terrorist state, Iran. It's the right thing to do. However, it was Donald Trump's, it is Donald Trump's biggest gamble in his whole life because you're dealing with a subset of power that answers to no one. And who that government, they are basically lunatics. They believe that Rosenberg and O'Reilly don't have the right to live because we're not Wahhabas Muslim.
Leland Vitter
That's true.
Doug
Yeah.
Sid Rosenberg
That's what they believe.
Mark
Not easy.
Leland Vitter
Yes.
Sid Rosenberg
We don't have the right to live, not go to the deli. We should be in the ground because we don't think Allah is whispering in our ear every night. Kill every non Muslim. You can kill the infidels, right? The infidels is the word they use. So how insane is that? And then when you get up to a level where you can develop a weapon that can literally wipe out a half million people and you sit there and do nothing, as the Biden administration did, okay, that gets problematic. But to solve the problem is very, very difficult. You have to go to Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Dresden. You have to go into these precincts where the United States and its allies killed millions of civilians.
Leland Vitter
And by the way, you don't have
Mark
to kill millions here. But, but, and you're the history guy, not me.
Leland Vitter
Did those bombings and killings in Germany and Japan not lead, thank God, eventually to the end of World War II?
Sid Rosenberg
Yes. It was the greater good that America, because we drove everything okay. It was the greater good that was accomplished because we gave how many times did we give Hitler and Tojo opportunities to surrender? And it's the same thing with the mullets. How many times do we give them, how many deals did Trump say he had?
Leland Vitter
Too many.
Doug
Right.
Sid Rosenberg
And they will not stop. So the right thing to do is to make them stop. But it's not that easy. And President Trump, and I know this because I've spoken to him directly about it. All right. Doesn't want to kill 50,000 Persians, which is honorable.
Leland Vitter
And he really does feel that way, cuz he's a good man, but you can't.
Sid Rosenberg
But like phony. No, not.
Leland Vitter
No, that's him.
Sid Rosenberg
Want to kill 50,000 Persians, including school girls. And, and, which is what it would take to break the country.
Mark
Oh, that's it.
Sid Rosenberg
When we broke Japan and Germany. Germany.
Mark
That's it, though. You don't, you don't start a book not to finish. You don't start a job not to finish.
Leland Vitter
You start the game, the game ends. So he, he started this, which is great.
Mark
We both agree he had to do it.
Leland Vitter
But because you're a nice guy, you can't not finish it. There needs to be a finish and the only finish there is to do damage.
Sid Rosenberg
Look, that's all true, but we don't know because we don't have classified information. All right? And these people go on television, radio and say they know what's happening over there. That's ridiculous. There isn't one reporter. You can't, if you're a reporter telling the world what's happening in Iran, you got a bullet in your head within five hours. So there isn't any reportage out of there. We don't know. But you would assume that the Pentagon has a plan to bring Iran down. And that plan will probably just be. We're going to have to waste all, all of your resources. Waste, destroy. And you're going to have trouble getting food in there. And that's not our fault. That's your government's fault. So you can do what you want to do. But I think that's where Trump is going with this. He's going to break the infrastructure of the country so they can't even get food in. That's what it looks like to me.
Mark
Yeah.
Sid Rosenberg
But I don't get a daily briefing. I should.
Leland Vitter
Yeah, you should.
Sid Rosenberg
You can take Vances and just give it to me.
Leland Vitter
I would love that. I would vote for that right now. I really would. I want Bill O'Reilly to be the Vice President, United States moving forward. How about that? That's my guy.
Sid Rosenberg
I can't take that job. It has to be a hot top job because I just, I'm not a good, I'm not a good order shaker.
Leland Vitter
Well, that's true.
Mark
That's true. You're right. But then again, only Trump would give you orders and you can Figure out a way around that.
Leland Vitter
But you'd be the. The much better guy for that position than he would be.
Mark
I mean, let's be.
Leland Vitter
Hon, I just. I just.
Mark
I just want to see this thing come to an end.
Sid Rosenberg
Oh, yeah.
Mark
One way or the other. I mean, it's just a mess.
Sid Rosenberg
The Persians do, too, of course. It's just they don't have the courage to overthrow.
Mark
Don't say they don't have the courage. They don't have the guns, okay?
Sid Rosenberg
No, they don't have the courage.
Leland Vitter
They don't have the guns. You walk in the street, you get shot down. 50,000 they killed.
Mark
You want.
Leland Vitter
You want to see courage? Let the Americans let us go there and on these people. Then they will see courage.
Sid Rosenberg
Well, you can't arm them, okay?
Leland Vitter
So you expect people to walk in the street just to get shot.
Sid Rosenberg
Here's what I expect. The American Revolution. Okay?
Doug
So if you study the American Revolution,
Sid Rosenberg
and, you know, 250is this year, the colonists didn't have the guns. We have any gun manufacturing plants here. All right? But we said we're throwing this king out and we're willing to give up our lives to do it. And we're going to use every measure to get these Brits back on their own island. Get out of here. And that's going to cost us hundreds of thousands of lives. And that's exactly what happened. So we had the courage to fight for our freedom. We stated what our freedoms were in the Declaration of Independence. And then we had the courage to fight for. For that, okay? Against the most powerful military in the world, the British. And we want. And so you can't tell me that 90 million Persians going on a work stoppage, okay? Not showing up, not cooperating in a passive way, can't damage that government. They can. They don't have the guts to do it. All right? And that's the truth. You can overthrow tyrannical regimes. I wrote about this in Confronting Evil. You mentioned it in the League. Because the exact same thing happened with the Shah of Iran. The people rose up against him.
Leland Vitter
But let me ask you this. You're right.
Sid Rosenberg
To drop weapons into the desert. No. No. And people are going to run and get.
Leland Vitter
It's not going to happen. Right, But I would ask you, as
Mark
a history guy, talking about the Shah, that was 1979, okay?
Leland Vitter
So you're talking about 47 years ago, okay? When this thing started. Are you telling me the Iranians are the same? Because I'm going to posit to you that they're more Ruthless, more murderous and more brutal now than 47 years ago.
Sid Rosenberg
They make the shah, the mullahs make the shah look like Pee Wee Herman.
Doug
Right.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay.
Leland Vitter
So these people have no chance for
Sid Rosenberg
the people of Iran to go on a track that makes it impossible for the Revolutionary Guard to govern.
Leland Vitter
Okay.
Mark
I like the idea.
Sid Rosenberg
If nobody does anything, all right, they stay in their homes, they eat their. Whatever they have left. Yeah. Because you're not going to have it for long. Okay. Then the whole structure starts to wobble.
Mark
True.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay. You don't have to do it militarily. You can do it by passive means, if you understand what happened. I mean, the Shah was gunning down people like crazy, trying to keep his power base there, but they. They were so fed up with him that they were willing at that point in history, the Persians, to take the chance to get him out. And they did. And. But they put in somebody worse.
Mark
Right.
Sid Rosenberg
And that's where we are.
Mark
That's where you are.
Leland Vitter
Final 60 seconds.
Mark
That was a great walk history lesson right there, Bill. No one could do nobody better than you. Nobody. Final 60 seconds.
Leland Vitter
Have you been able to convince Chris
Mark
Cuomo that Mamdani is in fact a communist?
Sid Rosenberg
No, not yet, but he knows. Come on, Bill, he. Look, we differ because I know you both, and you, you're interesting guys, let's put it that way. The Cuomo, what he's doing is playing to a group. Yeah. You don't play to a group.
Doug
No.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay, so sit in. Friends is wide open forum. You know, you gotta have a conservative bent some.
Mark
Right.
Sid Rosenberg
But that's not what you're selling. No. All right. But Cuomo, because of his position on News Nation, is selling a liberal view of the country. There's nothing wrong with that. My job is to go in and challenge that liberal view.
Leland Vitter
Yeah, but here's the thing. Whether it was CNN or even now
Mark
at News Nation, where he does have the best ratings there. But that's like saying you want a beauty contest in a leper colony.
Leland Vitter
How is it he doesn't get ratings? So this liberal stance of his. And you're right, he does do it because Katie Pavlich comes on two hours later. And you two. You two guys are great together this week, too. She's not liberal. So there's nothing in the News Nation doctrine like CNN that says you have to be liberal. It's not like he's getting big ratings. Why is he doing it?
Sid Rosenberg
Because that's his comfort zone.
Mark
Got it? Yep. You're right.
Sid Rosenberg
You know, if, you know, I knew Mario Cuomo. Okay. I didn't know him well, but I covered him and I knew him. And I can see the passage down to both Andrew and Chris of Mario Cuomo's point of view.
Mark
Interesting. Yeah, yeah.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay.
Mark
Yeah.
Sid Rosenberg
And it was a far different time in America with much more detente. It was much more reasonableness. There wasn't a pressure to speak to the choir so much as there is now. But I can see it. I can see almost everything. So when I get on there and I go to Cuomo, which is absolutely 100% true, that Mamdani is a communist because he's trying to control the means of production in New York City. All right? And then Cuomo. So he isn't a communist. I'm just looking at him like, do you not understand? And that's makes a good segment.
Leland Vitter
Yeah, of course.
Bill O'Reilly
That's great.
Sid Rosenberg
That's a good television.
Mark
It is good. Yes. I agree.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay.
Leland Vitter
I watch it.
Sid Rosenberg
That my job is to be a provocative guy, but to bring in the fact that we have a mayor of the largest city in the country who wants to run everybody's life right down to what kind of shoes you wear.
Leland Vitter
True.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay. And if. If that's okay with you. All right, fine. It's not illegal. But certainly the man is a communist. He is a communist.
Leland Vitter
I mean, to the.
Sid Rosenberg
And that's it.
Leland Vitter
That's it. To the definition, he'd be in the dictionary. Right, right.
Sid Rosenberg
I mean, he's after the housing. He's got the housing, he's after the food. I think Casa Matisse gonna have a mug. He's after the food, he's after the transportation. He's got cameras on every corner, every blanking corner in that city. You got a camera. And if you spit on the sidewalk, you get $100 ticket. What do you think that is? That's what they do in Beijing, which you know, exactly the same.
Mark
You were there not that long ago in Beijing actually, and I believe you did it. You saw it. You got. You spit on the street.
Leland Vitter
You got to take it line.
Sid Rosenberg
In Beijing, you do anything the government doesn't like life. You're charged with crimes against the people.
Mark
Yeah.
Sid Rosenberg
Okay.
Mark
Yeah.
Sid Rosenberg
That's everything.
Leland Vitter
Bill, you are so magnificent and so great.
Mark
I love you so much. Thank you. What a great segment.
