Thank you, Bill. It is Monday, April 13, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Talks, bomb blockade begins, Orbon concedes and Swalwell thrown under the bus. It's all coming up. Then. Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, speaking alongside Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Islamabad, the vice president said that after 21 hours of talks, it became clear that no agreement with Iran could be reached. The vice president said, we had a number of substantive discussions with the Iranians. That's the good news. The bad news is that we have not reached an agreement. And I think that's bad news for Iran much more than it is for the United States of America. The main point where they didn't agree was that Iran said they will not stop their nuclear program. In response, the president said that the US Navy will begin a blockade of ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz. The president said, so there you have it. The meeting went well. Most points were agreed to, but the only point that really mattered, nuclear, was not so effective. Immediately, the United States Navy, the finest in the world, will begin the process of blockading any and all ships trying to enter or leave the Strait of Hormuz. At some point, we will reach an all being allowed to go in, all being allowed to go out basis. But Iran has not allowed that to happen by merely saying there will be a mine out there somewhere, but nobody knows about them. This is world extortion, and leaders of countries, especially the United States of America, will never be extorted. I've also instructed our navy to seek and interdict every vessel in international waters that has paid a toll to Iran. No one who pays any legal toll will have safe passage on the high seas. We will also begin destroying the mines the Iranians laid in the straits. Any Iranian who fires at us will will be blown to hell. The vice president was in Hungary last week to help Viktor Orban retain control as prime minister of the country. But his party has lost the election there. The opposition party is expected to win 135 of the 199 seats of the Hungarian Parliament. The European Union generally hates Hungary because they're different. They've decided so far to remain hungry and not let in hordes of foreigners and to be an actually conservative government. And after 16 years in power as prime minister, Orban is out. The Manhattan DA's office is investigating claims of sexual assault against Congressman Eric Swalwell. Now four women have come out saying that they were assaulted by him. This is all coming out now because in California, they have a jungle open primary on June 2nd. So all the Democrats and all the Republicans run in one primary. Top two move on. Democrats in California did this because the two Democrats always make it to the general election. But it might backfire. There's so many Democrats running, they may split the vote and the two Republicans may advance to the general. So Democrats had to take someone out. They went with Swalwell. We went into more detail on this story on my podcast, YouTube.com politics by faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day. Next.
