Thank you, Bill. It is Friday, August 8, 2025. Here's what's happening today in America. Redo the census, Redistricting war continues. Trump Targets CEO and Superman joins ice. It's all coming up. And Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, big political news. The president said a truth yesterday. I've instructed the Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate census. People who are in our country illegally will not be counted in the census. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The census, which is usually done every 10 years, that ends with a zero. This counting of people determines how many congressional seats every state has, which determines how many Electoral college votes every state has. The last census was done in 2020, but in 2022, the census and Joe Biden's administration admitted they admitted that they undercounted in five states, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas, all Republican states. And they overcounted in Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York and Rhode island, all blue states. Gosh, golly, wouldn't you know it, it's believed that if we just had an accurate count, that would be 10 congressional seats, that the Democrats would lose and Republicans would gain and then, of course, 10 electoral college votes. So on top of that, the census has been counting illegal aliens. Stephen Miller and Elon Musk have said that if we don't count illegal aliens, the Democrats could lose as many as 20 seats and 20 votes in the Electoral College, which would make it nearly impossible for a Democrat to win the White House in 2028 if the census is redone quickly, which the president is calling for. The redistricting saga continues, this time with the vice president and a bunch of people from the White House meeting with lawmakers in Indiana calling on them to redistrict their state. Indiana has nine congressional districts. Two are Democrats. One of them, though, is a Democrat seat only, plus 1, so very close district. The other is plus 22, Indianapolis, but all the Republican seats are plus 8, plus 13, plus 15 or higher. So there's a lot of room to divvy up to take out that +21 district if they want to do that. The president of the United States has demanded the CEO of Intel resign. Lip Bhutan president said the CEO of Intel is highly conflicted and must resign immediately. There is no other solution to this problem. This is after the senator from Arkansas, Tom Cotton, wrote a letter to the board of intel, highlighting the CEO's ties to the Communist Party and companies that he owns in China. Former Superman actor and Fox News host Dean Cain said he will be joining ice. ICE announced that they eliminated age limits for new hires. In the past, you had to be at least 21 and no older than 37. But now you can be as young as 18 with a $50,000 signing bonus. DHS says they need to hire 10,000 people and in just the past week or so, they've had 80,000 applicants. I'm Mike Slater. I have a podcast called Politics by faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day next.

Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day on this Friday. Let's talk about payback. So all of us on this planet get hosed. It is inevitable if you are going to join the human race. Someone will betray you. Someone will be unfair to you, someone will hurt you. So what do you do after the fact? Well, revenge is frowned upon in Christianity and Judaism, but retribution, that is the just taking of some kind of justice, is allowed. So we are seeing payback at the highest level in the United States. Donald Trump believes he was unbelievably hosed by the phony Russian collusion story. And now the people who trafficked in that, including Hillary Clinton, are under investigation. And the powers of the federal government, which are vast, will be used to try to get evidence against the Russian collusion conspirators. Wow. And then there's Epstein. So the Democratic Party did everything it could to tie President Trump in with the heinous criminal. Well, now guess who's being investigated by the oversight committee in the House. That would be the Clintons and a variety of other left wingers. Payback, retribution. You make the call. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me, Bill@Billoriley.com Bill@Billoriley.com Name in town if you wish to opine. Now let's go to the Mail. Terry Brinker, Evansville, Indiana. I was able to file a complaint against Jasmine Crockett on the House Ethic Committee's website. Good for you, Terry. That's what I like to see, proactive. You think the guy's going to do anything? The guy from Mississippi, the head of the Ethic Committee? No. Vincent Vital, Lexington, Kentucky Bill, I signed my mother up as a concierge member for 78th birthday. She didn't even know you had a broadcast. Well, that's right. We have trouble reaching senior citizens over the age of 75 because they're not in the Internet world, the social media world. They don't know what's available. But you are a good son, Vincent. And I'm sure your mom will like watching the no Spin news. Dave Yoshida, Rancho Cucamonga, California is an income equality inherent with capitalism. But the benefit is the poor lower classes have the opportunity to advance. Yeah, that's it. Work your way up. But a lot of Americans gain. Gimme my Cusack. Milton, Florida As a concierge member, I would like to thank you and your team O'Reilly for all the help I have received. My wife got me concierge membership for my birthday, renewing it again this month. One of the best gifts one can give. You know, Mike, I really appreciate it. There's a parable in the Bible where Jesus cures a bunch of people and only one comes back and says thank you. And we have, I have gotten many, many more letters of people thanking me. But that is what we are in business to do with concierge membership. So I'm glad that we helped you out. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 492 years ago this week, Pope Clement XII excommunicated the King of England. Enraged, the monarch created his own religion, his own church, plunging the entire European continent into decades of religious warfare. Here is the evil story of Henry VIII, 1530, the 38 year old king petitioned the Vatican to annul the marriage with his first wife, Catherine, who was unable to bear him a son. The Pope refused to do it. Defiant, the king renounced Catholicism, creating a Protestant sect, the Church of England. Henry himself appointed the head of the religion, second in command, the Archbishop of Canterbury. The monarch then married his girlfriend, Anne Boleyn. Catherine was exiled to the cliffs of Dover, where she died from mysterious causes a few years later. Henry VIII's impulsive decision caused generations of misery. Towns turned on each other. Catholics and Protestants were slaughtered by the thousands in religious warfare. To maintain order, Henry launched a violent campaign against all Catholics living in the British Isles. Within a decade, more than 70,000 English subjects were put to death, many charged with witchcraft. That included his second wife, Anne Boleyn. After two years of marriage, Henry grew bored with her. He accused his queen of treason, dispatched her to the dreaded Tower of London, where she was beheaded by her own guards. And here's something else you might not know. Henry's religious order remains a major Protestant sect to this day. The There are more than 85 million members of the Anglican Church around the world, including 45 million in Africa. In the USA, the founding fathers formed the Episcopal Church during the American revolution. There are 7,000 parishes in the USA right now. One and a half million followers. We chronicle the horrible deeds of Henry VIII and the destruction he brought to England and Europe in my upcoming book, Confronting Evil. It is out September 9th. Back after this.

Summary of "The O'Reilly Update" – August 8, 2025
Bill O’Reilly’s No Spin News and Analysis delivered its episode titled "The O'Reilly Update" on August 8, 2025. Hosted by Bill O'Reilly, the episode encompasses a comprehensive news update by Mike Slater, a thought-provoking message from O’Reilly himself, interactions with listeners, and a historical deep dive into the origins of the Church of England. Below is a detailed summary capturing all key points, discussions, insights, and conclusions from the episode.
Timestamp: [00:09]
Mike Slater kicks off the news segment by highlighting several critical issues currently shaping the American political landscape:
Initiation of a New Census: President [Name] has directed the Department of Commerce to commence a new, highly accurate census with the significant change of excluding individuals residing in the country illegally.
"I have instructed the Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate census. People who are in our country illegally will not be counted in the census." ([00:09])
Impact on Congressional Seats and Electoral Votes: The census, typically conducted every ten years, determines the allocation of congressional seats and, consequently, Electoral College votes for each state. The last census was in 2020, and discrepancies were found in 2022, where Republican states like Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas were undercounted, while Democratic strongholds such as Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, and Rhode Island experienced overcounts.
Political Ramifications: An accurate count is projected to shift approximately 10 congressional seats from Democrats to Republicans and adjust the Electoral College by 10 votes. Experts like Stephen Miller and Elon Musk anticipate that excluding illegal aliens could potentially result in the Democrats losing up to 20 seats and Electoral College votes, severely hindering their chances in the 2028 presidential election.
Ongoing Redistricting Efforts: The redistricting controversy continues, focusing this time on Indiana’s congressional districts. Indiana currently has nine districts, with a mix of Democratic and Republican seats.
Potential for Republican Gains: The Republican party sees an opportunity to manipulate district boundaries to its advantage, particularly targeting the competitive +21 district to secure additional Republican seats.
Call for Resignation: The President has demanded the resignation of Intel’s CEO, citing conflicts of interest tied to alleged connections with the Communist Party and business ties in China. This move follows a letter from Senator Tom Cotton to Intel’s board raising these concerns.
"The CEO of Intel is highly conflicted and must resign immediately. There is no other solution to this problem." ([00:45])
High-Profile Appointments: Former Superman actor and Fox News host Dean Cain has announced his joining of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Expansion of Hiring Criteria: ICE has removed previous age restrictions for new hires, now accepting applicants as young as 18 and offering a $50,000 signing bonus. The Department of Homeland Security aims to hire 10,000 personnel, with an influx of 80,000 applicants in the past week alone.
"ICE announced that they eliminated age limits for new hires. ... they've had 80,000 applicants." ([02:45])

In his segment, Bill O’Reilly delves into the theme of payback and retribution within the U.S. political arena:
Concept of Retribution: O’Reilly contrasts revenge, which is frowned upon in Christianity and Judaism, with retribution, which he describes as just action taken to seek justice.
"Revenge is frowned upon in Christianity and Judaism, but retribution, that is the just taking of some kind of justice, is allowed." ([03:36])
Trump's Position on Past Injustices: He discusses how former President Donald Trump feels wronged by the Russian collusion allegations, labeling them as a "phony" narrative. In response, Trump seeks to use the extensive powers of the federal government to investigate those he holds responsible, including Hillary Clinton and other prominent Democrats.
Historical Payback: O’Reilly references the Epstein scandal, suggesting that previous Democratic efforts to associate Trump with criminal activities are now being countered by investigations into high-profile Democrats.
"Donald Trump believes he was unbelievably hosed by the phony Russian collusion story. ... the Clintons and a variety of other left wingers... are under investigation." ([05:00])
O’Reilly engages with his audience by reading and responding to listener feedback:
Terry Brinker (Evansville, Indiana): Successfully filed a complaint against Jasmine Crockett on the House Ethics Committee’s website. O’Reilly commends Terry for his proactive approach.
"Good for you, Terry. That's what I like to see, proactive." ([04:20])
Vincent Vital (Lexington, Kentucky): Thanks O’Reilly for enrolling his elderly mother as a concierge member, highlighting challenges in reaching senior citizens unfamiliar with digital platforms.
"But you are a good son, Vincent. And I'm sure your mom will like watching the no Spin news." ([05:15])
Dave Yoshida (Rancho Cucamonga, California) & Milton, Florida: Expresses gratitude for concierge membership benefits, and O’Reilly shares a biblical parable about gratitude to emphasize the value of their service.
"There is a parable in the Bible where Jesus cures a bunch of people and only one comes back and says thank you. ... that is what we are in business to do with concierge membership." ([05:45])

Bill O’Reilly presents a historical analysis of King Henry VIII’s excommunication and the subsequent establishment of the Church of England:
Excommunication and Religious Schism: In 1530, King Henry VIII sought to annul his marriage to Catherine to marry Anne Boleyn. When the Pope refused, Henry defied Catholicism, founding the Protestant Church of England.
"Here is the evil story of Henry VIII, 1530, the 38 year old king petitioned the Vatican to annul the marriage with his first wife... The king renounced Catholicism, creating a Protestant sect, the Church of England." ([08:03])
Consequences of His Actions: Henry’s decision led to decades of religious warfare across Europe, with Catholics and Protestants clashing violently. Over 70,000 English subjects were executed within a decade, including key figures like Anne Boleyn.
"Within a decade, more than 70,000 English subjects were put to death, many charged with witchcraft." ([09:15])
Legacy of the Anglican Church: The repercussions of Henry VIII’s actions are still felt today, with the Anglican Church boasting over 85 million members globally, including a significant 45 million in Africa and 1.5 million in the USA.
Promotion of O’Reilly's Upcoming Book: He teases his forthcoming book, Confronting Evil, which delves deeper into the atrocities committed by Henry VIII and their long-term impact on England and Europe.
"We chronicle the horrible deeds of Henry VIII and the destruction he brought to England and Europe in my upcoming book, Confronting Evil. It is out September 9th." ([09:50])
