Thanks, Bill. Here's what's happening this week in America. The SAVE Act, FBI arrest Trump RX and the All American Halftime show. It's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, Senate Republican leaders met in the Oval Office with the president to talk about the SAVE Act. After their meeting, the president sent a message. America's elections are rigged, stolen and a laughing stock all over the world. We are either going to fix them or we won't have a country any longer. I am asking all Republicans to fight for the following Save America Act. Number one, all voters must show voter id. Number two, all voters must show proof of United States citizenship to register for voting. Number three, no mail in ballots except for illness, disability, military or travel. CNN admitted that 83% of voters supported this, including 71% of Democrats. And Chuck Schumer was asked about this. He called it Jim Crow 2.0. The FBI arrested someone who made an imposter ransom demand for Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy. She was abducted from her Arizona home Sunday morning. No suspect or person of interest has been identified. Someone did demand a bitcoin payment to a local Tucson media outlet two days later. This guy also demanded a payment in bitcoin. He the second person was arrested, but he's not related to the actual abduction. The president said he talked to Savannah the other day and promised the full efforts of the FBI to get her mom home. The president unveiled Trump Rx Last Night with Dr. Oz and also the head of the National Design Studio who was the co founder of Airbnb. The White House said that Trump Rx is a state of the art website for American consumers to purchase low cost prescription drugs. It's a place where any consumer can go and pay the lowest cash price without insurance. For instance, Ozempic usually $1,000 a month down to 199. WeGovy from $1,350 a month down to $199 as well, among many other prescription drugs. Bad Bunny is performing the halftime show this Sunday. Friendly reminder that Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA is offering a counter halftime show called the All American Halftime show featuring Kid Rock with Brantley, Gilbert, Lee Bryce and Gabby Barrett. You can watch that halftime show on all Turning Point USA social media outlets, Daily Wire plus TBN1, American News Network and Real America's Voice. The big game itself between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots kick off this Sunday at 6:30. Also, Olympics this weekend. We have medals in alpine skiing, cross country, seeing speed skating and snowboard. I'm Mike Slater. From the podcast Politics by faith, Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day next.

Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day, big win for the world as the Trump administration solidifies a trade deal with India. That country says it'll stop buying Russian oil, which will hurt Putin badly, and India will start purchasing US And Venezuelan oil. Unless Jeffrey Epstein once bought US Oil or something, chances are you will not hear about this trade victory with India from the media. You know, at this point, it's almost like the Marx brothers are in charge of the American press. Hello, I must be going zany. Things happening all over the place, but they're not good for us. The media is right now locked in on ice. And Epstein in order to continue damaging President Trump with the midterm election coming up later this year, that is the media strategy, damage the president. The absolute focus of the vast majority of media is to assure a democratic victory in November. That's it. That is the truth. In a way, it's kind of shocking, the abdication of any journalistic fairness. But we all know the deal. In fact, the horrid cliche comes to mind. It is what it is, but it shouldn't be. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me billorilly.com, billorilly.com name in town if you wish to opine. Now, let's go to the mail. Bill Wright, Whiteman, Whiteman, Sunapee, New Hampshire. Hey, Bill, I'm a concierge member. Huge fan. My question is, why would people like George Soros and Neville Singham spend their time and money attempting to undermine the U.S. government? Well, we've been over this somewhat, but Singham is a communist. He works with the Beijing. They want to diminish the United States. Everybody knows that. Soros a little more complicated than that. I can't read the guy's mind, but he certainly despises American tradition and the way the government justice system is set up. He despises it now. He's 95 years old. He's out of it now. His son Alex takes over the open society movement, whatever it may be. But I can't quite. It's like Singham. I know he's an enemy of the state. Soros, I think, is an enemy of the state because he does so much damage with this money. But that's just an opinion. Singham's a fact. Jim Gable, Morgantown, North Carolina. Hey, Bill, who do you think was responsible for Biden's open border policy? I don't believe he said, let's go do this. Sure he did. Come on. Yeah, he was diminished, but Biden could absorb information and his people came to win, said, oh, we're going to reverse the Trump border policy. That's all Biden had to hear. All he had to hear was reverse Trump. Oh, yeah, let's do it. But he, he's responsible for it now. He had four years to explain it. He's got to get explained tomorrow on the show. But Biden, you know that in a moment. Something you might not know.

The O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 127 years ago, the US Senate ratified a peace treaty between the United States and Spain. The resolution formally ended one of the most pointless conflicts in human history. Here is the story behind the Spanish American War. The affair began with Cuba's struggle for independence. Spain ruled the island and used violent measures to halt the rebellion. Those were widely publicized in the United States press. To protect citizens living there, Washington deployed three battleships to Cuba. In February 1898, a massive explosion sank the USS Maine in Havana Harbor. 260Americans on board were killed. A naval court ruled the ship was accidentally blown up by an underwater mine. But most people didn't buy that. They blamed the Spaniards. The public in America demanded a declaration of War. On April 20, 1898, President McKinley signed a joint congressional resolution authorizing the use of military force to help Cuba gain independence. Spain severed all diplomatic relations. Both sides declared war. The ten week conflict was fought in both the Caribbean and the Pacific. Spain was completely dominated by the US Navy. In total, Madrid lost 10,000 sailors, compared to just 900Americans. The war officially ended on February 6, 1899. Spain renounced all claims to Cuba, ceded Guam and Puerto rico to the USA trans transferred sovereignty of the Philippines to America for $20 million. And here's something else you might not know. During the Spanish American War, the US Military ran low on soldiers. To supplement the forces, the army raised a tough group of volunteers, cowboys, farmers, even a few outlaws. The group earned the nickname the Rough Riders. They were led into battle by a 40 year old glory hunter from Manhattan. His name, Theodore Roosevelt. Back in a moment.
