Thank you, Bill. It is Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Here's what's happening today in America. Ukraine agrees to a ceasefire, CR passed, Canada threatens America and the final mission is underway. It's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, Ukrainian officials agreed to a U. S. Brokered ceasefire while the Ukrainian and American officials were meeting in Saudi Arabia. This agreement would halt hostilities with Russia for 30 days. Our secretary of State, Marco Rubio said, quote, the ball is now in Moscow's court. This announcement comes after Ukraine launched a massive drone attack against Russia. The UN estimates between 100 and 250,000 people have been killed since fighting began in February 2022. And that amazing. We, we don't even know within hundreds of thousands of people how many people died in this war. Outside of the White House, Trump said a little while ago Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire. Now we have to go to Russia and hopefully President Putin will agree to that also and we can get this show on the road. We reported the other day that Trump wrote on Truth Social, all Republicans should vote yes on the continuing resolution next week. Well, all the Republicans voted yes on the continuing resolution yesterday, except for Thomas Massie from Kentucky. He's the one Republican who voted no, but one Democrat voted for it. This will fund the government at current levels until the end of September. And the idea is it will give Donald Trump, with Elon and all the department heads more time to find all the things they need to cut and they can present that to the legislative branch by the time the next budget is due. Speaking of cutting funding, and this is a good example of what we're talking about here. The US Department of Education now led by Linda McMahon, wrote, As a part of the department's final mission, the department today initiated a reduction in force impacting nearly 50% of the department's workforce. When Donald Trump took over, there were 4,133 federal workers. After this reduction in force, there will be 2,183. So half of their workforce will be gone. But in the meantime, the department will still engage in all the programs they currently have, student loans, Pell grants, special needs funding, et cetera. So we're not all the way done with it quite yet. The premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, threatened to charge Americans a 25% tariff on electricity generated in Canada. His comments come as Trump vowed to impose more penalties on steel and aluminum up to a 50% tariff. Ford said, quote, let me be clear. I will not hesitate to increase this charge if necessary. If the United States escalates, I will not hesitate to shut the electricity off completely. Believe me when I say I do not want to do this. Who do you think has the upper hand in this trade war? I'm Mike Slater from the podcast Politics by Faith, the great Bill O'Reilly. Here's your message of the day next.

We finally beat Medicare.
Mike Slater
He's right.
Bill O'Reilly
He did beat Medicaid. Beat it to death.
Joe Biden
Joe Biden's legacy for seniors. He raided Medicare, made premiums skyrocket and drove up drug costs. Worse, the Biden pill penalty is already slashing the development of affordable drugs, forcing seniors to pay the price of Biden's failed policy. Biden broke Medicare, but President Trump can fix it. Call Congress and urge them to end the Biden pill penalty.

Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day on this Wednesday, one of the most astute foreign policy experts in the country is former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. On Monday, I talk with him about our very dangerous world. And here are the highlights. He believes there will be a ceasefire in Ukraine and concurs that President Trump cannot insult Putin if that is to happen. The secretary sees Xi and China as more dangerous than Putin, but does not foresee Beijing invading Taiwan. However, the Chinese Communists want to dominate the world, though that situation is a big negative going forward. Mr. Pompeo believes President Biden's weakness directly led to trouble all across the globe, including Hamas's invasion of Israel. Mr. Biden's detachment from reality was well known inside foreign intelligence agencies. Mike Pompeo used to be the CIA chief in addition to Secretary of State. Mr. Pompeo is ready to return to the Trump administration. That part of the interview was interesting, but I'd like you to hear it for yourself. No doubt Pompeo is a patriot and a skilled foreign policy analyst. The entire interview is available on bill o'reilly.com I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me, bill@billoriley.com bill@billoriley.com name in town if you wish to opine, here's the mail. Roy Concierge member Roy okay, allowing entrepreneurial must to speak freely from the Oval Office and wield a chainsaw is not a good idea. I would kind of agree with that. I'd like to see a little more restraint on the part of Mr. Musk. Robert I wouldn't worry about the stock market. It takes a while for the economy turned around from the mess that it was. Wasn't a mess. It was inflation that was the mess. Economy was okay under Biden. Let's be honest, process is just beginning. It'll show improvement in a year. Trump doesn't have a year if the economy is bad. This time next year, midterms, Homer, Concierge. Remember, Homer, with the amount of chaos, one gets the impression that Trump and his cabinet don't seem to know what they're doing. Trump needs a calm, fears they know what they're doing, but it's hard. Okay. But I'm hoping this Ukraine thing ignites the series of victories. Robert Podhorn, Wentzville, Missouri. I'm a longtime follower of yours, Mr. O'Reilly. Your interview with Secretary Pompeo was the very finest work I have seen. Well, I appreciate that. We put a lot into. We don't want to waste your time. Tanya Brown, New Market, Tennessee. Trump didn't choose Pompeo because he took several swipes at Trump on January 6th over January 6th. That's true. I think that's what did it. Tanya. I believe that is what did it. Mary. Concierge. Remember a lot of concierge members around. No one is even looking for President Biden. The fact that his orders and documents are signed by auto pen should be of concern. More coming out. Gonna be a big scandal. Already is in a moment. Something you might not know.

Like a bull in a china shop. Donald Trump came in to drain the swamp in Washington, D.C. but with his bold reform and rejuvenation agenda comes so many legal questions nationwide. Injunctions, are they constitutional? What's the deal with birthright citizenship? What about the administrative state? Can he actually clean the deep state and end the politicization of the federal bureaucracy? I'm Josh Hammer, host of America on Trial with Josh Hammer. Now, the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 87 years ago today, Germany annexed the nation of Austria into its territory. That decision was a blatant violation of the Treaty of Versailles and a precursor to World War II. Here is the story. During the Middle Ages, the Germanic peoples are divided into different principalities. In the early 20th century, Central Europe was dominated by the nation of Germany and the Austro Hungarian Empire. After their defeat In World War I, the two countries were forbidden from forming a future alliance. Enter Adolf Hitler. He was an Austrian who seized power In Germany in 1933, the Nazi Party soared. Fascists began publishing unification pamphlets stating ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Fuhrer, one race, one empire, one leader. On March 11, 1938, the Nazis took control of Vienna. The next day, Hitler's forces crossed the border. Thousands of Austrians lined the roads and bridges, welcoming the invaders. No shots fired. The act was called Anschluss, meaning connection. On March 13, Austria officially became part of the Third Reich. A rigged referendum was held. 99% of Austria allegedly supported the annexation. Austrians were soon conscripted into the German armed forces, fighting on various fronts, including the invasion of Poland, the battle of France, the Russian front, and later the defense of Berlin. Some citizens became members of the Austrian SS committing war crimes in occupied countries. The Nazis controlled Austria until April 1945, when the Soviets seized Vienna. The independent nation was finally restored 10 years later. 1955. And here's something else you might not know. Today, Austria has a zero tolerance policy towards all images associated with the Nazis. Displaying a swastika or Hitler's portrait can carry a three year prison term. Back after this.

Hey, I'm Mike Slater. I have a podcast called Politics by Faith. We have a very simple mission. We take the news of the day and we filter it through a biblical worldview. So here's the big story of the day. What does the Bible say about it and, and how can we apply it? It's amazing. There's nothing new under the sun. The Bible has something to say about everything that's going on today. So basically, we thumped the Bible over on Politics by Faith. I think we ought to keep MAGA going. And I think the way to take it beyond just a political victory into a true rebuilding and awakening and revival in America is to make sure that this is all grounded in biblical principles. And that's what we do on the podcast Politics by Faith. And you can subscribe to Politics by Faith wherever you're listening to the show right now.

The episode is meticulously structured to provide listeners with comprehensive insights, enriched with notable quotes and expert analyses.
Mike Slater opens the discussion by addressing the recent developments in the Ukraine-Russia conflict. Ukrainian officials have agreed to a U.S.-brokered ceasefire while high-level meetings between Ukrainian and American officials are underway in Saudi Arabia. This agreement aims to halt hostilities with Russia for 30 days.
"The ball is now in Moscow's court."
This announcement follows Ukraine's substantial drone offensive against Russia, with the UN estimating between 100,000 and 250,000 lives lost since the conflict's inception in February 2022. The gravity of the situation is underscored by the uncertainty surrounding the actual casualty figures.
Former President Donald Trump weighed in, emphasizing the next steps in securing the ceasefire:
Trump at [02:00]: "Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire. Now we have to go to Russia and hopefully President Putin will agree to that also and we can get this show on the road."
The discussion shifts to the legislative developments concerning the government's funding:
Mike Slater highlights significant cuts within the Department of Education:
"The US Department of Education now led by Linda McMahon, wrote, as part of the department's final mission, there is a 50% reduction in workforce, decreasing from 4,133 federal workers to 2,183."
Despite the workforce reduction, the department maintains its ongoing programs, including student loans, Pell grants, and special needs funding, indicating that restructuring is still in progress.
Trade relations between the United States and Canada have become strained, with both nations threatening tariffs on each other's goods:
Doug Ford at [02:45]: "I will not hesitate to increase this charge if necessary. If the United States escalates, I will not hesitate to shut the electricity off completely."
These escalating threats reflect the ongoing trade war's tension and uncertainty regarding which nation holds the upper hand.
In a segment focusing on domestic policies, Bill O'Reilly critiques President Joe Biden's handling of Medicare:
Bill O'Reilly at [03:03]: "He did beat Medicaid. Beat it to death."
The discussion centers on the assertion that Biden has undermined Medicare by increasing premiums and drug costs, impacting seniors adversely. The 'Biden pill penalty' is cited as a measure that not only restricts affordable drug development but also places the financial burden on the elderly population.
Bill O'Reilly provides an update featuring insights from former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo:
Ceasefire Prospects in Ukraine: Pompeo is optimistic about a ceasefire in Ukraine but emphasizes the necessity for President Trump to maintain respectful discourse with President Putin.
China's Global Ambitions: He identifies Xi Jinping and China as more formidable threats than Putin, though he does not anticipate an immediate invasion of Taiwan. Pompeo warns of the Chinese Communist Party's intentions to dominate the global landscape, posing significant challenges ahead.
Critique of President Biden: Pompeo attributes global unrest, including Hamas's invasion of Israel, to President Biden's perceived weakness and disconnect from reality, a sentiment echoed within foreign intelligence circles.
Bill O'Reilly at [03:31]: "Mr. Pompeo believes President Biden's weakness directly led to trouble all across the globe, including Hamas's invasion of Israel."
Pompeo, a former CIA chief and Secretary of State, expresses readiness to return to the Trump administration, underscoring his commitment to robust foreign policy measures.
In a historically informative segment, Bill O'Reilly recounts the Annexation of Austria (Anschluss) by Nazi Germany, commemorating its 87th anniversary:
Background: Post-World War I, Central Europe saw the dominance of Germany and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The Treaty of Versailles prohibited any future alliance between these nations.
Rise of Adolf Hitler: An Austrian by birth, Hitler ascended to power in Germany in 1933, with the Nazi Party promoting unification under the banner of "ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer" (one people, one empire, one leader).
Annexation Event: On March 11, 1938, Nazi forces took control of Vienna without resistance, an act termed Anschluss (connection), leading to Austria becoming part of the Third Reich the following day. A coerced referendum reported 99% support for the annexation.
Aftermath: Austrians were conscripted into the German military, participating in significant WWII battles. The Nazi regime in Austria lasted until April 1945 when Soviet forces liberated Vienna, restoring Austria's independence a decade later in 1955.
Bill O'Reilly at [08:02]: "87 years ago today, Germany annexed the nation of Austria into its territory. That decision was a blatant violation of the Treaty of Versailles and a precursor to World War II."
Additionally, O'Reilly mentions Austria's stringent post-war policies against Nazi symbols, imposing severe penalties for displaying Nazi imagery, reflecting the country's commitment to preventing the resurgence of fascist ideology.
Throughout the episode, Bill O'Reilly engages with feedback from his listeners, reflecting on their perspectives regarding his analysis and interviews:
Roy from Concierge expresses skepticism about entrepreneurial freedoms under Mr. Musk's influence.
Robert Podhorn from Wentzville, Missouri, praises O'Reilly's interview with Pompeo as "the very finest work I have seen."
Tanya Brown from New Market, Tennessee, discusses the political dynamics surrounding Pompeo's criticisms of Trump during the January 6th events.
