Thanks, Bill. Here's what's happening this week in America. Muslim terrorist attack, another Muslim terrorist attack, Senate passes, Road act and World Baseball Classic quarterfinals tonight. It's all coming up and Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, the suspect is dead after ramming his vehicle in a Detroit area synagogue. The suspect, who's believed to have had a rifle, died after a shootout with security at the temple. Nobody inside the synagogue was hurt as they noted that all 140 students as well as staff, teachers and their heroic security personnel were accounted for. The driver of the vehicle was Iman Mohammed Ghazali, a naturalized US citizen from Lebanon, naturalized back in 2016. In similar news, also yesterday, a murderer went to Old Dominion University in Virginia and started shooting. He is 36 year old Mohammed Baylor Jala. This guy was previously arrested back in 2016 for attempting to provide material support to ISIS. He was convicted and sentenced to 11 years in prison. He was released two years ago. He's a naturalized US citizen for from Sierra Leone. The FBI said he yelled Allah before his attack. He entered a classroom and asked if it was an ROTC class. When the class said yes, he started shooting. He shot the instructor before being killed by ROTC students. I look forward to hearing more details on that and how they killed him. He ended up murdering the instructor, Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, who's a veteran of Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom at Atlantic Resolve. So to be clear, the Austin murderer on March 1st was a naturalized citizen from Senegal. The Old Dominion University murderer was a naturalized citizen from Sierra Leone. The New York City bombers the other day were both children of naturalized citizens from one set was from Turkey, the other from Afghanistan. And the Michigan Synagogue attacker is a naturalized US Citizen from Lebanon. One could say we have a legal immigration problem in America. The Senate passed a bill 89 to 10 from Republican Tim Scott that increases housing supply in America, makes it easier for communities to make zoning changes and ADU allowances and reduced parking mandates, cuts down on regulations for manufactured home red tape for Section 8 housing. Also mortgage reform for loans under $100,000 in low cost markets. There's a ton in this bill. It's called the Road to Housing Act. ROAD is an acronym for reducing obstacles and achieving development. The World Baseball Classic is underway. Team usa, three and one in the group stage. Before their loss to Italy, the manager said, I thought that they had an automatic advancement to the next round. They didn't. They ended up losing and they needed help. Unfortunately, they got it. So they will advance. Facing Canada tonight, 8 o' clock Eastern in Houston. There is a World Baseball Classic game today and every day until the finals on Tuesday, March 17th in Miami. Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day. Mexico is not a friend to the United States. Its government has been corrupt for decades and that has led to the rise in murder and international drug trafficking all throughout that country. That is not an opinion. It's a fact. The current presidente of Mexico, Socialist Claudia Sheinbaum, is under heavy pressure from the Trump administration to allow American assets to help eradicate the incredibly vicious drug cartels. Ms. Sheinbaum has initiated a few arrests, but will not allow US Authorities inside her country when she could easily do so. Instead, she blames American drug addicts and smuggled weaponry for Mexico's problem. An absurd argument. The cartels have murdered more than a million of Sheinbaum's people over a decade. Stop making excuses, madam. It is true that Americans who buy illegal narcotics are part of the problem. No question. These are selfish individuals who enable murder bad Americans. But it is Sheinbaum herself who is the primary problem. Summon up some courage, Madam President. Do the right thing. Those cartels should be destroyed. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me, bill@billoreilly.com billorilly.com name in town if you wish to opine. All right. Arthur is a concierge member. It's another great opportunity. Billoriley.com, concierge membership. I usually find some issue to point out to you, O'Reilly, but not this time. You're spot on. Instant gratification in America, superficiality, antisocial behavior on multiple levels categorize our country better than anything else. It's sad, but there's a division here. It's not all black, all right? There are many, many young people signing up for the military and doing great things. It's either kind of one or the other. Jillian. Personally, I believe the Internet is at the root of all of our problems. I was around 95 when it started. I thought it was amazing. Little did I know what a monster it would be become. It is out of control. If you don't have discipline, you get addicted real easy to it. And then you create the bubble world and you don't know anything and don't care to know anything. Tim McKay, Ludington, Michigan. In conflict, you express that the media wants immediate resolution and asks how long the war is going to last, how many casualties? What's the resolution? I believe the media is actually just wanting to pressure Trump. Trump into misrepresenting the Iran situation. Yeah, I'm not going to disagree with that. It's called Gotcha. They want to get them. They want to trap them. Obvious CNN is they're the apex of that. Emil Imbro, Coral Springs, Florida. So Russia is revealed to be sending intelligence to Iran by US Sites. Then Trump eases oil sanctions on Russia after speaking to Putin. Why? Because of the worldwide oil problem, which is going to be temporary. So there's stuff going on that I don't like, but it's called greater good. You don't want the world to go into a recession. And, you know, look, this Putin character, he's a big winner in all this. And yeah, is he helping Iran if he can. Anything to hurt the United States, Putin is down with in a moment, something you might not know,

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. Five years ago, President Biden signed a $2 trillion relief package to help the USA recover from COVID The proposal included direct payments to millions of American citizens, child tax credits, funding for free vaccines. Here is the story behind the American Rescue plan Beginning in April 2020, the pandemic crippled the economy. 22 million jobs evaporated in weeks. Hundreds of thousands of businesses shuttered. Supply chain problems caused prices on everyday essentials to to surge. The unemployment rate jumped to 15%. The country plunged into recession. In order to kick start the economy, President Biden and the Democrats proposed the American Rescue Plan. The legislation passed both houses of Congress along party lines. Not a single Republican in either chamber voted for the bill because it was so expensive. On March 11, 2021, President Biden signed the plan into law because he had a Democratic majority in both houses. But was the measure a success? Not really. Four million jobs did return, but those were caused by businesses reopening after the pandemic lockdown. Watchdog agencies immediately accused the Biden administration of wasteful spending. According to a report from CNBC, as much as 33% of the 2 trillion went to quote non Covid related relief. That included funds for high speed Internet, new bridges, subsidies for farmers. The legislation added to the historically high national debt, but the worst impact was inflation. Within months, the nation's inflation rate jumped from 0.3% to 9.1%. Prices on nearly everything reached record highs. And here's something else you might not know. Despite the record spending, Covid has mostly disappeared from public life through natural immunity. A poll From Pew finds 70% of the public no longer think the coronavirus is a major threat. In 2026, you are eight times more likely to get the flu than Covid. Back in a moment.
