Thank you, Bill. It is Friday, March 20, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Cardboard Khomeini prime minister visit non citizens on welfare and a March Madness update. It's all coming up and Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, Iran's new supreme leader released a written statement. We have yet to see proof that he's actually alive or conscious. This is his second message, this time confirming the death of the Iranian security chief who was killed by an Israeli airstrike on Tuesday. The message said, the enemies of Islam should know that shedding this blood only makes the mighty tree of the Islamic system stronger. And of course, every drop of blood has its price, which the murderous killers of these martyrs who will soon have to pay. Our secretary of war yesterday at his press conference ended his remarks saying, may Almighty God continue to bless our troops in this fight. And again to the American people, please pray for them every day on bended knee with your family, in your schools, in your churches, in the name of Jesus Christ. The new prime minister of Japan visited with the president in the Oval Office yesterday. When asked about how supportive Japan has been in the Iranian war, the president said, we've had tremendous support and relationship with Japan on everything. And I believe that based on statements that were given to us yesterday having to do with Japan, they're really stepping up to the plate. The prime minister, who's the first female prime minister of Japan, said, I firmly believe that it is only you, Donald, who can achieve peace across the world. And to do so, I'm ready to reach out to many of the partners in the international community to achieve our objective together. The president was asked if we're putting troops on the ground and Iran. He said no, I'm not putting troops anywhere. If I were, I certainly wouldn't tell you, but I'm not putting troops. A Japanese reporter asked why we did not inform Japan that we were striking Iran. And the president said we wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor? According to the center for Immigration Studies, nearly half of households headed by immigrants, legal or illegal, living in the United States are on one or more forms of welfare, 47% overall if you include the earned income tax credit. That's 54% of non citizen households on welfare, only 28% of households headed by native born Americans on welfare. The countries where non citizens come from that use the most welfare, Afghanistan 87% on welfare, the Dominican Republic 78% Guatemala 77 Honduras 75 Mexico, 67%. March Madness kicked off yesterday. Already a bracket Buster. Number 12 seated High Point, taking out number five, Wisconsin High Point. Sixteen more games today. Second round starts tomorrow. Time now for the O'Reilly update message of the day. On this Friday, I made some comments about Europe that have people upset not only in Europe but in the USA. You may know that our commentary is worldwide on YouTube. Everybody hears it. Who pays attention? And I said to Germany in particular, what are you doing over there in Berlin? I mean, we saved your bacon, to use a terrible cliche. After World War II, we rebuilt your country at our expense. American taxpayers paid for the auto bonds and paid for the defense against Stalin and the Soviet Union. We were very kind to the German people, even though they participated in the Third Reich, causing an unbelievable amount of murder throughout the European theater. So now you would think that Germany, the most powerful economy in Europe, would be our ally against the jihadists, against Iran that's funding terrorism all over the place and killing by financing Hezbollah and Hamas, the Houthis, and directly in their own country they mowed down. They murdered more than 30,000 protesters a few weeks ago. Anyway, where's Germany? They say it's not our war. Hey, you owe us. I don't know how to say it in German, but they do. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me billoriely.com bill@billorilly.com name in town if you wish to opine now, let's go to the mail. Kevin kopeck, Rock Hill, South Carolina. And last night's newsman news referred to J.D. vance being in charge and heading a new department to clamp down on fraud. We already had a task force to revive fraud. It was called Doge. Different. Different. What Vance is in charge of is seeing that federal dollars going to states is spent responsibly and honestly. What Doge was responsible for was rooting out waste in the federal government, people that were hired unnecessarily, money going to Sri Lanka for nothing, that kind of stuff. Two different frauds. Don DeVos, St. Clair Shores of Michigan. Hey, Bill Gadget, provide an update on ICE operations. After Tom Homan announced they were winding down in Minneapolis, all went quiet. Quiet. There are ICE operations, but most of them now are in red states. So you don't hear any problems because the red states want the migration and immigration situation to be controlled. So we know Memphis, we know New Orleans, and there are others. But once you get into a blue state, a liberal state, then they scream and demonstrations. And that's why you don't hear about it now, because there are no demonstrations because they're in red areas. That will change. Okay, again, we'll do it live. The podcast sweeping the world Lindsey Graham thing. Check it out on billoriley.com and no Spin Nation hats and USA 250 hats flying out of here. Eventually we're going to run out of these things. So if you want them, gotta go to billoriley.com get the hats. They're neat, they look great, and you'll love them in a moment. Something you might not know.

Download TikTok now. Foreign now, the O'Reilly Update brings you something you might not know. It is officially World Happiness Day, the event established by the United nations in 2012 to, quote, serve as a reminder around the globe that individuals should pursue joy in their own lives. Right on. To mark the event, the UN releases a list of nations with the highest happiness index. Here they are. Number five, the Netherlands. Folks in Holland enjoy the most leisure time in Europe. Exercise for an hour each day on average, eat a healthy diet. However, they also have the highest substance addiction rate on earth. So I'm not sure about the happy thing there. Next, Sweden. All the people there get two months of paid vacation if they work, free health care, free child care, government funded retirement. They also pay the highest tax rates on earth. 65% of Swedish paychecks go to Stockholm. Number three, Iceland. Tiny island is home to just 400,000 residents, but has become a global tourism destination in recent decades. 5 billion people visit Iceland each year. Second place goes to Denmark. Copenhagen now hosts the best restaurants in the world and the number one slot on the happiness index. For the seventh year in a row, Finland, the Scandinavian nation tops the list in life expectancy, access to nature, trust in government and good food. And here's something else you might not know. According to a poll from the BBC, 68% of the Finnish people say the key to happy life is the sauna. The tradition dates back 10,000 years. Underground pits were filled with smoldering logs and red hot rocks. Folklore states the heat, smoke and steam are good for your health and repel evil spirits. Today, 60% of homes in Finland have a sauna. In the USA, that figure is 0.1%. Back in a moment.
