Thank you, Bill. It is Monday, March 30, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Preparing for ground control, bombing stopped, Tiger flips and overruled six times. It's all coming up. And then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, Washington Post reporting that there are operations planned for weeks long ground operations in Iran, including special operation raids and limited infantry missions. This includes a Marine expeditionary unit that is now in theater. The report said that the planning, which has been underway for weeks, has included possible operations involving Kharg Island. It's this little island right off the coast of Iran that's their primary oil export hub. It's where they do all their oil refinery as well as raids on coastal positions near the Strait of Hormuz, which is where they launch these drones that attack the ships. Part of landing on Kharg island would be to stop Iran from blowing it up themselves so we can keep the oil flowing. This buildup also includes elements of the 82nd Airborne Division. French police stopped a bomb attack outside of the bank of America building in Paris. A man was in the act of lighting the bomb when police grabbed him. The homemade device was 9 pounds of liquid believed to be some fuel, 23 ounces of an explosive powder and an ignition system. It was 3:30 in the morning. The office was closed, of course. Another person was arrested on scene. He was taking photos and video with a cell phone as this was happening. Police say that that person they arrested was recruited through Snapchat to carry out a bombing in exchange for $692. Police say that suspect is a minor from Senegal. Two other people have been arrested since, but they're not saying what role they have played yet. Tiger woods again, crashing his car, this time under the influence of some type of medication, it's believed crashing his SUV in one of the strictest counties in Florida. Technically speaking, this would be his first DUI. But in 2017 he was found unconscious of behind a wheel of his running car high on a cocktail of prescription painkillers. But he took a plea deal for reckless driving, served a year of probation. The 82 time PGA winner was also seriously injured in a high speed car crash in California. 2021 left him with multiple leg fractures requiring major surgery. In other sports news, Major League Baseball is underway. They got their new ABS automated ball and strike system. Each team gets two challenges per game and if they're right on the challenge, it doesn't get charged against them. CB Buckner, historically one of the worst ball strikes umpire in the league, got overturned. It's a major league record six times. I'm Mike Slater. From the podcast politics by faith, YouTube.com politics by faith, Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day next.

Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day on this Monday, it is Holy Week all around the world as a billion and a half Christians get ready for Easter Sunday. Now the United States is becoming more and more secular. It's estimated that maybe 23% of us go to services every week. And the fastest growing religion in America is atheism. People who are pagans, they don't believe in any deity. It's all about them. Now I'm being a little harsh. I admit it. I had no choice. I was born into an Irish Catholic family, but I have been loyal my entire life. Not because the Catholic Church is flawless, it's far from that. But the theology, the Christian theology is about as flawless as you get. Think about it. If everybody loved their neighbor as themselves, there would be little violence, little crime, no wars. And that is what Jesus the Nazarene taught. Best source my book, Killing Jesus. It's also a movie you can get on pay per view. Happy Easter in Advance. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me, bill@billoreilly.com billorilly.com name in town if you wish to opine now, let's go to the mail. Juni D. Manila, the Philippines. Always watch the no Spin News. Also on your YouTube channel, read your daily message. Currently reading Confronting the Presidents. I also have Killing Lincoln, Kennedy and Reagan. Thank you. Juni, Just want to ask you, what's the difference between socialism, fascism and communism? Communism is when a government can seize private property, take everything you have. Okay. Socialism is when a government says, we are going to tax you very high rate and provide you with all you need cradle to grave. But we're not going to take your stuff. You have stuff. We're not going to seize it. Communists will do that, but the socialists won't. However, we'll provide for you. You're not going to have much, but you'll get retirement funds, education, medical, but you pay a lot of money. Fascism is basically the government running everything, telling you what you can or can't do. It's like communism, totalitarianism, with one exception. Fascism wants corporations, but they run the corporations. Communism doesn't want corporations, okay? They're evil. Bernie Sanders. Okay, that's the difference. Good question, Junior. And I hope you're doing well in the Philippines. Okay, let's go to our store, 3American Tour. We just put out a few more seats because it's a hot ticket. Westbury this coming Sunday, 3pm you'll love it. Go to billorilly.com we'll link it right on over. You're tired of me. I know, but we only got four more days. We'd like to get as many people in the theater as we can. Then we got not woke gear. I'm sure you're tired of hearing about this too, but spring is here. Golf shirts, T shirts, hats, mugs send a message. Not woke. It's working. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 45 years ago today, a deranged man shot President Ronald Reagan in Washington D.C. the bullet pierced his left lung, missing his heart by inches. Miraculously, the 70 year old commander in chief survived the attack and rebounded in the short term. Here is the story. On March 30, 1981, Ronald Reagan departed the Hilton Hotel in D.C. as he approaches limousine, the 25 year old John Hinckley Jr. Fired six shots at the President. The gunman was immediately detained by the Secret Service. President Reagan rushed to the hospital. His first words to his wife, quote, nancy, honey, I forgot to duck. Hinckley told police he tried to kill the President to impress actress Jodie Foster. He had penned a letter to the young film star just days before the shooting, writing quote, over the past seven months, I have left you dozens of poems, letters and love messages. The reason I'm going ahead with this attempt now is because I cannot wait any longer to impress you. Unquote. One year later, Hinckley was found not guilty by reason of insanity. The gunman was released from a Psychiatric Hospital in July 2016. He currently performs country music on YouTube. And here's something else you might not know. Ronald Reagan never fully recovered from the attack. He did his job. He was successful. But he suffered extreme fatigue, hearing loss, and eventually cognitive decline. He was diagnosed with advanced Alzheimer's disease late in his second term. President Reagan died in 2004 at the age of 93, 23 years after the shooting. For more incredible stories about the 40th president and his time in the White House, you might want to check out my best selling book, killing Reagan. Back in a moment.
