Thank you, bill. It's Friday, March 7, 2025. Here's what's happening today in America. Gavin breaks Bitcoin reserve, Congressman censured and student deported. It's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, the governor of California, Gavin Newsom. More than anything in the world, he wants to be president of the United States. He started a new podcast called this Is Gavin Newsom. And he said he's only going to talk to conservatives. His first guest was Charlie Kirk. And in the conversation, Newsom admitted that it's, quote, deeply unfair to allow boys to compete against girls in sports. This has now become the litmus test for the Democratic Party. The head of the Human Rights Campaign said when LGBTQ lives are under attack, real leaders don't hedge, they fight. As someone who has lived for 12 years under Gavin Newsom's reign, I'm telling you that Gavin Newsom is going to use this podcast to try to be seen as more of a centrist or even a conservative when he runs for president in four years. Do not fall for this routine for one second. It's all an act. Donald Trump signed an executive order to establish a strategic bitcoin reserve. It will start with all the bitcoin that's owned by the federal government through criminal or civil asset forfeiture proceedings. So it's not going to cost taxpayers anything. And the United States will not sell any of the bitcoin that's deposited into this reserve. It will be kept as a store of value. David Sachs is the chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He said this executive order underscores President Trump's commitment to making the United States the crypto capital of the world. You saw Congressman Al Green from Texas yell at the president a couple times during the joint session of Congress. The other day. He was officially censured by the House. 224 to 198. Ten Democrats joined in. Green is the 28th congressman in history to be censured by the House. After the vote, his punishment is to stand in the well of the chamber while the resolution is read aloud. This resolution, the censure does not remove him from any official duties in any way. This issue came up during the Secretary of State Marco Rubio's confirmation hearings. And the State Department just revoked the first visa for an alien who was previously cited for criminal behavior in connection with Hamas supporting disruptions. This person is a university student. The State department reviewed over 100,000 visas and the Biden administration canceled zero visas for pro Hamas activities or related criminal behavior. This marks the first, perhaps of many. Marco Rubio, secretary of state, wrote on Twitter. Those who support designated terrorist organizations, including Hamas, threaten our national security. The United States has zero tolerance for foreign visitors who support terrorists. I'm Mike Slater. From the podcast Politics by faith, Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day next.

We lost a family member on Wednesday, a beautiful corgi named Holly. Brain tumor, nine and a half years old. A good dog in every way. As a puppy, I branded her the terra dog because she tried to eat the living room. Many of you know Holly because we appointed her the mascot of all the Bill O'Reilly Enterprises. We did everything we could to fight the malady, and Holly was loved every minute of every day. Someone asked me how I could anchor a news show knowing about Holly's condition. I simply said compartmentalize. My son asked for a Corgi in 2015 when he was 11. It was a easy decision. Pets enhance lives and children cherish them. When I brought Holly home, my boy cried with joy. Best moment ever. There is a time for every season, the Bible verse goes, and of course it's true. Nothing can stop fate. What we can do is protect those we love and look out for. For them. That's often not easy. But good people know it is imperative Holly enriched. My family will never be forgotten. I am extremely fortunate to have had her company for nine and a half years. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me billoriley.com, billoriley.com, name in town if you wish to opine now, let's go to the mail. Let's go to the mail. Michael Pelt, Jacksonville, Florida. I believe Donald Trump is on track to be a great president, but I fear for his safety. Even at an event like the joint address, are members of Congress subjected to metal detector scans? Yes. Everybody in the proximity of the president gets scammed. David Concierge member David, I hope you're enjoying it, Bill. Fascinating comparison with how the Republicans screwed up under President Herbert Hoover. Now the Democrats are doing the same thing. I would not have thought to make that. Excellent analogy. Well, that's why you need to read Confronting the President, David, if you haven't already, because I have all of the other administrations in the book. And when you read it, then you can bring in the history to what's happening now. So this Sunday on the New York Times bestseller list marks six months consecutively that Confronting the President has been on that list. And if you haven't gotten it, this really got. If you re up your membership, you get it free. Tanya Bill, I just listened to you on YouTube about Putin, and I want to thank you from someone who grew up in the Soviet Union and find it repulsive that people should know better. Sanitizes vicious murderer and of course, Putin, who don't know any better, are asking, why do we hate Putin? You explain it very well. For someone who lost family members to Stalin's repression, it is very offensive to hear what's going on today. Well, Tanya, my new book, Confronting Evil, features both Putin and Stalin, both of them. And millions will read this book. I don't think they'll allow it to be sold in Russia, but millions around the world will read it and they will know what your family went through. But our job here is to tell you the truth without any favoritism or any ideology. And that's what we do. In a moment, something you might not know.

Hey, I'm Mike Slater. I have a podcast called Politics by Faith. We have a very simple mission. We take the news of the day and we filter it through a biblical worldview. So here's the big story of the day. What does the Bible say about it and how can we apply it? It's amazing. There's nothing new under the sun. The Bible has something to say about everything that's going on today. So basically, we thump the Bible over on Politics by Faith. I think we ought to keep MAGA going, and I think the way to take it beyond just a political victory into a true rebuilding and awakening and revival in America is to make sure that this is all grounded in biblical principles. And that's what we do on the podcast Politics by Faith. And you can subscribe to Politics by Faith wherever you're listening to the show right now.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 495 years ago today, Pope Clement the 12th formally denied the king of England's divorce petition. Defiant. The monarch then created his own church, plunging the entire continent of Europe into centuries of religious war. Here is the story of Henry VIII. In 1530, the 38 year old king petitioned the Vatican to annul the marriage with his wife Catherine, who was unable to bear him a son. At the same time, Henry was obsessed with a young socialite named Anne Boley Boleyn. The pope, of course, refused. Enraged, Henry renounced Catholicism entirely, creating his own Protestant sect, the Church of England, now known in America as the Anglican Church. Henry himself appointed himself the head of the church, second in command, the archbishop of Canterbury. The monarch then married Ms. Boleyn. Catherine was exiled to the cliffs of Dover, where she died mysteriously a few years later. Henry VIII's impulsive decision caused generations of war and misery. Towns turned on each other. Both Catholics and Protestants were slaughtered by the tens of thousands. The turmoil spread throughout the continent. Sectarian hatred erupted in France, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Italy. To maintain order, Henry VIII launched a violent campaign against all Catholics living in the British Isles. Within a decade, more than 70,000 English subjects were put to death, and that included Anne Boleyn. After two years of marriage, Henry was bored with her, so he accused Anne of treason, dispatched her to the Tower of London, where she was beheaded by her own guards. His third wife, Jane Seymour, died one year later. Another wife was executed at the tower in 1542. And here's something else you might not know. We chronicle Henry VIII's horrible deeds. He was an evil man in my upcoming book, confronting Evil Evil, which will be out September 9th, back after this. Thank you for listening to the O'Reilly Update. I am Bill O'Reilly. No spin, just facts. And always looking out for.
