Thank you, Bill. It is Thursday, May 21, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. Castro charged, SpaceX going public, boycotting the south and Trump's commencement address. That's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, the Justice Department has charged former Cuban President Raul Castro with murder over his role in shooting down two planes that were carrying humanitarian aid in 1996. This resulted in the death of four US nationals. The indictment charges Castro with seven counts, including conspiracy to kill US Nationals, destruction of aircraft and murder for each of the four passengers aboard the planes. These planes are flown by Brothers to the Rescue, a group that conducted rescue missions for Cuban exiles that sought to flee the country. Castro is 94. Our Attorney General Todd Blanche said for the first time in nearly 70 years, senior leadership of the Cuban regime has been charged in this country, in the United States of America for acts of violence resulting in the deaths of American citizens. He said the United States government has not forgotten these innocent men who were shot out of the sky. Elon Musk has filed paperwork to take SpaceX public and make him a gazillionaire. This is expected to be the first US Company to go public with a market value of more than $1 trillion. At the time of its IPO. The company is mostly Starlink satellites to provide Internet and also, of course, the reusable rockets. But SpaceX is also XAI, their artificial intelligence company. Musk would retain 85.1% of the combined voting power of this company. SpaceX is aiming to list its shares on Nasdaq as early as June 12. The NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus are calling on all black athletes in Southern schools to boycott their schools. This includes athletes in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. It's the NAACP's out of bounds campaign. They say current and prospective black athletes, their families, alumni and fans are called to withhold athletic and financial support from major public universities and states that move to limit, weaken or erase black voting representation. The president gave the commencement address at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. He said, very soon you'll swap your shoulder boards and you'll join the long blue line of legendary rescuers, seafarers and service members that fill American hearts with admiration and pride. One graduate in particular, Thomas Rhodes, the only cadet to get a perfect score on every fitness test. The president said, we're not going to fight with him. I'm not fighting him. It's not the ufc. Please understand that, Thomas. Look at the muscles in this guy. And then he shook hands and grabbed his arm. And Trump said, I hit him in the shoulder and I hurt my hand. Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day on this Thursday. The progressive movement is President Trump's best friend. Did you know that these far left radicals make it difficult for clear thinking Americans to vote against Republicans because the progressives are now running the Democrats entire operation? If you think money is tight right now, wait until you see the drastic tax increases the Dems want to impose. Yes, President Trump would veto those if Republicans lose the midterms. But the tone will be set. Bigger government, racial preferences, amnesty for migrants, soft border enforcement, a diminishment of ice, reparations for slavery, more regulations on energy. There will be nowhere to hide in America. The problem is many voters do not understand how intrusive the progressive movement really is. Already, Kamala Harris is staking out a leadership position with Ocasio Cortez right behind. So big decisions coming in November. Yes, many things will change over the next five months. But one thing will not change. Progressives are President Trump's best friends. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You, you can reach me billoriley.com, billoriley.com name in town if you wish to opine. All right, mail. Philip Crossler, Everett, Washington. President Biden's government through January. Six people in jail held him for years. Why doesn't Trump's government put anti government rioters in jail and hold them? Because those are state charges. The difference. Okay, state charges, federal charges and federal charges are much more intense. Alan Sachs, Pensacola, Florida. As a proud American Jew conservative and support of Israel, I deeply appreciate you shining an issue on antisemitism, O'Reilly. As you know, it's a chronic problem that historically spikes during economic downturns. And people are tough. Folks often search for a scapegoat. Unfortunately, Jewish people have frequently been targeted. This isn't about the economy, though. This anti Semitism wave is about progressive politics. That's what it's about now. Jordan Butas Alberta, Canada in my opinion, there are many sources for growing antisemitism in the west, but the main three are far left, far right, and significant portion of the Muslim community that live here. It now mostly comes from the far left and those adjacent to them. Israel is a Western democratic capitalist and perceived as being inhabited by white European colonizers. This makes Israel, and by extension all Jews an ultimate target of the far left. I don't know about the colonizers thing. The rest of it is on. I just think that the progressives are hell bent in demonizing Israel because of a variety of emotional reasons. It's hard to generalize one in a moment Something you might not know

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. Eight years ago today, a former president and first lady signed a deal with Netflix. The two agreed to a multi year contract to produce films and documentaries for the world's most popular streaming service. It also made them one of the richest couples in America. Here is the story behind the Obamas Entertainment empire. Born 1964 in Chicago, Michelle Robinson grew up on the city's south side. She attended Princeton University, then Harvard Law. She met Barack in 1989. The two married one year later. On May 21, 2018, the Obamas signed a deal with Netflix to make films under their company, Higher Ground Productions. Though the exact figure was not disclosed, it is believed the first couple were paid at least $50 million. Since the agreement, the Obamas have produced a series of documentaries about foreign factories, the National Park Service, and a special about the American Work Week called what We Do All Day.
