Thank you, Bill. It is Monday, May 4, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. NATO restructuring, illegals purged from Social Security, anti NICE arrests, and the flying Waffle House is out of business. That's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, recent reports said that 5,000 US soldiers are being moved out of bases in Germany over the coming year. The president said it's going to be a lot more than the 5,000 soldiers being relocated. The president planned in his first term in office to bring back around 9,500 soldiers from Germany. But then Joe Biden reversed that decision. Currently, there are 36,000 soldiers stationed in Germany and around 80,000 across Europe. Berlin did not go as far as Madrid in blocking base access for American forces during this Iran war. But the German chancellor said that Iran humiliated the United States. The president also celebrated that 300,000 illegal aliens in the United States have been removed from Social Security roles and a hundred thousand have been removed from Medicare. This is all part of the administration's effort to crack down on fraud. He announced all this during a speech at the Villages in Florida highlighting no tax on Social Security. This was his first public appearance since the assassination attempt at the White House Correspondence Dinner. Nine people taken into custody Saturday night after an anti NICE protest took place outside of a hospital in Brooklyn. ICE officers arrested Chidozi Wilson Akiki, a Nigerian citizen who DHS says was previously arrested for assault and criminal drug possession. DHS said that during the arrest he he weaponized his vehicle in an attempt to hit the ICE officers, became physically combative, attempting to punch and elbow the NICE officers and that he then requested medical assistance after the arrest. That's when multiple disorderly groups met around the hospital, obstructing traffic and blocking emergency entrances and exits. Then a NICE agent attempted to leave the hospital with this illegal alien and protesters outside the hospital blocked the entrance and refused to leave. One protester began punching and ultimately breaking a NICE agent's rear window. This illegal alien came to the United States in 2023 on a tourist visa and then remained in the country past the visa expiration. Spirit Airlines shutting down shops 17,000 direct and indirect employees lost their job after talks of a government bailout fell apart. Other airlines have promised to reduce fees and help stranded Spirit passengers. United, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, capping ticket prices for those whose tickets were canceled by Spirit. But you can only take advantage of these capped prices for just a few days. I'm Mike Slater. From the podcast Politics by faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day next.

I appeared on British television the other night explaining for the 80th time why the war, the conflict, whatever you want to call it in Iran is going on. Now, the old adage that I have reinvented is people believe what they want to believe and you can present them with facts and overwhelming opinion and they'll still believe what they want. Okay? In America, under our First Amendment perfect right to do that in Iran, every single nation on this earth should be in opposition to a terror state enriching uranium to try to get a nuclear weapon. Every country should oppose that. Yet there are people walking around including the leaders of some countries going, well, we don't believe that. Why would you not believe that Iran, responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths, wouldn't want to get a nuclear weapon which it could use against Israel or its other perceived enemies. Why wouldn't you believe that? The Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad says it, CIA says it, NSA says it. They all confirm that the mullahs are trying to enrich uranium to get a bomb, yet you don't believe it. It's pretty stunning, but that's what's happening. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me bill. Bill@billorilly.com Billorilly.com Name in town if you wish to opine now, let's go to the mail. Fred apotschmitt, Cincinnati, Ohio. Hey Bill, thanks for the inside baseball and a White House correspondents dinner. Looking over the shooters manifesto, seems like much of the material could have been lifted from the mainstream media. To me that says the educated man was trying to carry out their wishes. I don't think there's any doubt about it that this guy dialed into the hate on social media and on TV and radio. Think there's any doubt he dialed right into that? Pamela Hamorowitz, Whitesboro, N.Y. while I agree that Kimmel's constant joking about Trump are not funny is not funny, I believe Greg Gutfield was equally cruel in his nightly comments. Okay, don't watch him. Don't watch him. I mean, I'm not watching this stuff. I told you a million times, I'm not wasting my time, any of it. I was on Piers Morgan in London today and he's asking me about all his social media. I said this means nothing. It means nothing. You're trying to make money. You guys just push it on out there, make it easier for them to make money. Steve Jobet, Kimmel's production company is represented by caa, is a deep relationship with them. CNA represents many of the top talent, the entertainment business and it is told Disney they won't do business with the company it if they do anything against Kimmel. That's absolutely true and I reported earlier. But I just wanted to reinforce, Steve that you had the story in a moment something you might not know. Let's face it, the US Economy is under stress, national debt rising, trade war shaking the markets and meanwhile China is dumping the dollar and stockpiling gold. Two years ago today, Madonna sang before 1.6 million people in Brazil. Despite the impressive attendance, other concerts have had even bigger audiences. Here's a list of the most attendant performances in history. The 1991 Monsters of Rock concert in Moscow. 1.7 million Russians heard American and British music for the first time. The event featured the Black Crows, Metallica and ACDC next to rolling stones. Their 2003 concert in downtown Toronto drew 2.5 million. It was one of the first times guitarist Keith Richards had visited that city since he was arrested there in 1977 for pot possession. Agarth Brooks begins the top three. His 1997 performance in New York City, Central park attracted 2.7 million fans. It remains the most attended concert in Big Apple history. The second spot goes to Queen at Wembley arena in London. Though the stadium was sold out to 70,000 fans, more than 1 billion people tuned in around the world for the Live Aid charity event and the most attended show in history. Rod Stewart, the London born crooner performed before 3.5 million people at Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro. That's in Brazil. The 1994 concert was held on New Year's Eve. Fans flocked from more than 100 countries to hear Stewart perform. Maggie Mae, do you think I'm sexy? Have I told you lately? And tonight's the night. And here's something else you might not know. Rod Stewart is one of the only artists in the world to be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame twice. He was first put there as a solo artist in 1994, the second time, 2012 for his work with the English band the Faces. Throughout his career, Rod Stewart has sold 300 million records. Whoa. Back in a moment.
