Thank you, bill. This Tuesday, May 6, 2025, here's what's happening today in America. Self deport and get paid. Mexico denies help. Why did air traffic controllers walk off the job? And Israel's newest plan. It's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, apparently it costs $17,000 to arrest, detain and deport someone. But the Trump administration is now offering anyone who self deports using the Border Patrol one app. Once they land in their home country, they'll get a thousand dollars. Now if that's not enough carrot, here's a little more stick. It has also been announced that Rwanda is in early talks to take expelled migrants. So the deal is you can't stay here. You can go to your home country or anywhere else in the world, but if we find you, we might deport you to Rwanda. The president of Mexico said that President Trump offered to send in American marines to help fight the Mexican cartels. The president of Mexico said that. Our president said, how can we help you fight drug trafficking? I propose that the United States military come in and help you. She said. You know what I told him? No, President Trump, sovereignty is not for sale. Sovereignty is loved and defended. Trump said that the conversation indeed took place. Air traffic controller screens at Newark Airport last Monday went dark for 90 seconds and it prevented the controllers from talking to aircraft as well. In recordings, you can hear air traffic controllers telling pilots that the approach lost all the radars. This apparently is the reason why so many air traffic controllers went on medical leave, saying the experience was such a traumatic event that they can't work anymore. Controllers are entitled to at least 45 days away from the job and have to be evaluated by a doctor before they can return to work. Things are so bad at Newark Airport right now that United Airlines removed 35 round trip flights a day to help ease congestion. Yesterday at Newark, the average delay was was four hours. Israel now plans to seize the entire Gaza Strip and then stay in the Palestinian territory. The plan was voted by Israeli cabinet ministers. The Israeli military chief said the army was calling up tens of thousands of reserve soldiers. It's believed that the plan will not begin until after Trump visits the region. From May 13 to May 16, Trump is going to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. This plan is different than previous plans from the Israeli Defense Forces because they plan to hold the territory that they gain after they take it. Some Israeli leaders have suggested that this cannot happen if Hamas releases all of the hostages, which they still have not. I'm Mike Slater from Politics by faith. Bill O'Reilly with your message of the day. Next.

Message of the day on this Tuesday, there is something rotten in Mexico City. According to reports in the Wall Street Journal, Presidente Claudia Schonbaum is refusing to cooperate with the Trump administration in joint military action against the drug cartels. As you may know, President Trump signed an executive order designating the cartels as terrorist organizations. That means the USA can hunt down and kill or incarcerate these savages anywhere in the world. The cartels are responsible for hundreds of thousands of drug overdose deaths in America. So the EO is absolutely essential to protecting our country. But somehow Ms. Schambaum doesn't see it that way. The mystery is why not. She should want the cartels destroyed, and obviously Mexico can't do it. According to a variety of human rights groups, the vicious drug gangs are responsible for more than 500,000 murders in Mexico since 2006, a half million dead, and Sheinbaum is resisting American help. It is a fact that many Mexican government and military officials have been bribed by the cartels, and everybody knows that. Therefore, it is imperative that President Sheinbaum explain her idiotic position. Listen lady, you have a chance to restore dignity in a measure of safety to your country. Are you opposed to that? How about Wising up? I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me billorilly.com, billoriley.com, name in town if you wish to opine. All right, let's go to the mail. We got Jesus. Spot on analysis as usual. Bill exchange with the Congress from Massachusetts is cringe worthy and beyond reciting a script more like drinking kool Aid. Glad you challenged him. He didn't know what to say when you asked him the current unemployment rate. Ouchin Close is his name. Yeah, he, he's a propaganda guy and in the town hall I had to get a little firm. Charles Concierge member Cheers to you Bill for calling out the congressman. And James Carville should point out stock market is back to where it was and Trump is taking a big gamble with the tariffs. But I believe things work out because you want to believe it. And there's nothing wrong with that, Charles. I mean there's nothing wrong with you wanting to believe that the tariffs will work out and America will become more prosperous. But boy it's dicey. And there's a rumor that they're going to announce a big trade deal the Trump administration this week and I hope they do because it needs to come soon. Joel, can you come back to national tv? Why, why would I do that? That would be about as the most self destructive thing I could do. We have many more viewers than I ever had on a Fox News channel. Whatever I want to work for corporation for. I have a linear outlet on News Nation. I'll be on with with Leland vitter tonight at 9:00. I'm on with Cuomo at 8:00. On Wednesdays we do specials for them. That's linear. On Thursday the CW network is going to run the first hundred days schedule special with me. The this coming Thursday they're going to run it. I got my access to linear tv but this is a monster what we're doing here. This is all over the world so never going to do that. In a moment something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 143 years ago today, President Chester A. Arthur signed America's first major law restricting immigration into the United States. To this day, it remains the only bill to ban people of one specific nationality. Here is the story behind the Chinese Exclusion act. During the mid 19th century, tens of thousands of Asians migrated to California. There, they worked in gold mines, rail yards, construction sites. Anti Chinese sentiment swept the West Coast. Many accused the foreigners of corruption, fraud and spreading disease like bubonic plague. Lawmakers in Sacramento passed numerous laws restricting the Asian population, including a $10 monthly work permit fee, the modern equivalent of $500. Congress then passed the Chinese Exclusion act in early 1882. President Arthur signed the law on May 6th. The legislation banned all migrants from China for the next 10 years. It also denied current Chinese residents and their American born children from obtaining U.S. citizenship, a clear violation of the Constitution. In 1892, the act was renewed for another 10 years, then extended indefinitely. Despite the blanket ban, there were a few exceptions. Scholars, diplomats, students could obtain visas, but were required to obtain permission from both Washington and Peking. In total, fewer than 100 Chinese nationals were admitted into the USA each year. And here's something else you might not know. Racial quotas remained America's immigration policy until 1965. That year, Congress passed the Hart Cellar Act. Signed by President Johnson at the base of the Statue of Liberty. The legislation eliminated ethnic discrimination. For the first time, immigration was based on a person's skill in education. As a result, America's Chinese population went from 50,000 in 1965 to to 600,000 a decade later. Today, 5 million people of Chinese descent live in America. Back after this.

Hosted by Bill O’Reilly, the episode delves into immigration policies, international relations, labor unrest, and historical perspectives, providing listeners with in-depth analysis and commentary.
Mike Slater opens the episode by addressing the complexities of immigration enforcement. He highlights the Trump administration's initiative aimed at reducing deportation costs by incentivizing self-deportation.
Self-Deportation Incentive: The administration offers individuals who self-deport via the Border Patrol an incentive of $1,000 upon their return to their home country. This measure is presented as a cost-effective alternative to the $17,000 expense associated with traditional deportation processes.
"Apparently it costs $17,000 to arrest, detain and deport someone. But the Trump administration is now offering anyone who self deports using the Border Patrol one app. Once they land in their home country, they'll get a thousand dollars." ([00:40])
Rwanda as a Deportation Destination: In a further attempt to manage migration, Rwanda is in early discussions to accept expelled migrants, presenting it as a potential alternative for those unable to return to their home countries.
Mexican Sovereignty and U.S. Intervention: The episode discusses President Trump's proposal to deploy American marines to assist Mexico in combating drug cartels. However, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum firmly rejects this offer, emphasizing Mexico's sovereignty.
"President Trump offered to send in American marines to help fight the Mexican cartels... She said, 'No, President Trump, sovereignty is not for sale. Sovereignty is loved and defended.'" ([00:40])
Air Traffic Controllers Strike at Newark Airport: A significant disruption occurred when air traffic controller screens went dark for 90 seconds, leading to widespread delays and safety concerns. This incident has precipitated a series of medical leaves among controllers, citing the traumatic experience.
Impact on Air Travel: United Airlines responded by removing 35 round-trip flights daily to alleviate congestion caused by the delays.
"Air traffic controller screens at Newark Airport last Monday went dark for 90 seconds... United Airlines removed 35 round trip flights a day to help ease congestion." ([00:40])
Israel’s Strategic Military Plans: The episode outlines Israel's recent decision to seize the Gaza Strip, with plans to maintain control over the territory post-operation. This move is contingent upon the release of hostages held by Hamas.
Trump's Middle East Visit: Scheduled for May 13-16, President Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates is seen as a pivotal moment that may influence the timing of Israel's military actions.
"Israel now plans to seize the entire Gaza Strip and then stay in the Palestinian territory... It is believed that the plan will not begin until after Trump visits the region." ([00:40])
Bill O’Reilly delivers a passionate message addressing the ongoing struggle against Mexican drug cartels.
Executive Order on Cartels: He emphasizes the significance of President Trump's executive order that designates cartels as terrorist organizations, enabling the U.S. to take decisive action against them globally.
"President Trump signed an executive order designating the cartels as terrorist organizations. That means the USA can hunt down and kill or incarcerate these savages anywhere in the world." ([03:29])
Criticism of Mexican Leadership: O’Reilly criticizes Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum for refusing collaboration with the U.S., arguing that Mexico cannot effectively combat the cartels alone due to internal corruption and bribery within its government and military.
"Sheinbaum is resisting American help. It is a fact that many Mexican government and military officials have been bribed by the cartels, and everybody knows that." ([03:29])
In a historical segment, Bill O’Reilly commemorates the 143rd anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act, shedding light on its impact and legacy in American immigration policy.
Origins and Provisions: Enacted on May 6, 1882, under President Chester A. Arthur, the Act was the first significant law restricting immigration based on nationality, specifically targeting Chinese immigrants.
"President Chester A. Arthur signed America's first major law restricting immigration into the United States... the Chinese Exclusion Act." ([09:20])
Consequences and Legacy: The Act not only banned Chinese immigration for a decade but also stripped current Chinese residents and their American-born children of citizenship, blatantly violating constitutional rights. It was extended indefinitely and remained a cornerstone of discriminatory immigration policy until the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 abolished racial quotas.
"Despite the blanket ban, there were a few exceptions... fewer than 100 Chinese nationals were admitted into the USA each year." ([09:20])
Long-Term Effects: The repeal of discriminatory quotas in 1965 led to a significant increase in Chinese immigration, transforming the demographic landscape of the United States.
"Today, 5 million people of Chinese descent live in America." ([09:20])
Bill O’Reilly concludes by addressing listener feedback, highlighting interactions with his audience and discussing his presence across various media platforms.
"Glad you challenged him. He didn't know what to say when you asked him the current unemployment rate... James Carville should point out stock market is back to where it was and Trump is taking a big gamble with the tariffs." ([03:29])
