Thank you, Bill. It is Friday, November 21, 2025. Here's what's happening today in America. Big job numbers, seditious behavior, Dick Cheney funeral and peace agreement proposed. That's all coming up. Then Bill's going to be here with your message of the day. But first, big jobs report from September. Experts predicted 50,000 jobs to be added, but job creators in this country created 119,000 new jobs. That means over the past year, 2.5 million native born Americans gained employment and 670,000 foreign born workers lost employment. Stephen Miller said this is the first time that has happened in our lifetimes. Truly astonishing achievement. A couple days ago, a few senators and congresspeople made a video where they told service members and people in the intelligence community that they must disobey unlawful orders. And in this video, they never said what orders they're talking about, like what orders from our commander in chief have been unlawful. Every order that the president gave the National Guard was to protect federal law enforcement and protect federal buildings. So the president wrote in response to that video that the comments are, quote, really bad and dangerous for our country. He said their words cannot be allowed to stand seditious behavior from traitors or lock em up with a question mark. An hour later he wrote, seditious behavior punishable by death. And now the people in that original video are pretending to be outraged. Speaker Johnson said that the president was simply defining the crime of sedition. Quote, that's a factual statement. The former Vice President Dick Cheney had his funeral at the Washington National Cathedral yesterday. Former President George W. Bush delivered a eulogy. Bush told the story of when he was going to pick Dick Cheney to be his vice president. He said that Dick insisted on giving me a complete rundown over of all the reasons why I should not choose him. In the end, I trusted my judgment. I remember my dad's words when I told him what I was planning. He said, son, you couldn't pick a better man. The United States has crafted a 28 point plan to bring the war in Ukraine to an end. Russia would receive recognized control over Crimea and large portions of eastern Ukraine. Ukraine must limit its standing military and establish in its constitution that it will never join NATO. Also, Ukraine would receive security guarantees from the United States without regard to Europe. Ukraine would receive hundreds of billions of dollars worth of investment to aid in its rebuilding efforts, including $100 billion worth of frozen Russian assets. Russia would receive re entry into the G8 and all sanctions would be lifted. Also, prisoners would be exchanged in an all for all basis and all civilian detainees would be returned. Russia's accused of kidnapping Ukrainian children. Some estimates up to 100,000 and re educating them in their own military. Under this deal, everyone would come home. I'm Mike Slater. I have a podcast, Politics by faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day.

Time now for the O'Reilly update. Message of the day. On this Friday, President Trump believes there is a, quote, enemy within that he must deal with. That enemy is the radical left. Those who oppose the president say this is just another example of an authoritarian leader trying to destroy freedom of speech, dissenting points of view. So let's examine without emotion, the progressive left generally believes America is not a noble country and never has been. They want total change, a more socialist economy, a less punitive justice system, DEI policies, open immigration. Is that point of view dangerous? Well, I think it is, but it's allowed under the First Amendment. What is not legal is law. Breaking, rioting, promoting violence. President Trump is certainly within his authority to confront those things, but he should provide backup for what he is doing. During the Vietnam War, there was a violent movement in the USA on a number of fronts. The Black Panthers, the Weathermen, the Symbionese Liberation Army. The FBI was dispatched to deal with them and was largely successful. Political violence of any kind is unacceptable. Decent people know that. And the enemy within that practices violence must be defeated by constitutional means. I'm Bill O'Reilly. I approve the message by writing it. You can reach me billorilly.com, billorilly.com name in town if you wish to opine. Now, let's go to the mail. Wade Johnson, Metairie, Louisiana, outside of New Orleans. Originally heard from my anti Israel family that Israel has funded and is responsible for Hamas. Can you shed some light on that? Wait, I'm going to be gentle. Those people in your family are loons. That's a light I can shed. You know, Daniel Renth, I got a good laugh from your reaction to people wanting the word of the day to be defined by you. I started looking up the words during the O'Reilly Factor and several of them, like jackanapes and poppinjay, have become substitutes for some of my saltier language. You look it up, you'll remember it. Thank you, Daniel. Vic Carpenter, congrats on being the best dressed TV personality in the country. Your tie and collar are always perfect. No other journalist comes close. You know, it takes work though. Got to get that, that not centered. And you get the collar here. You know, I'm old school. You know, I wear dark shoes with dark suits, brown shoes with dark suits. No sneakers with suits. No, I like the old school look. Luanne Hirsch, Walnut Creek, California. I just read your Sunday column. My parents are 85 and 89. Big fans of yours. My dad, 89, still works full time. My mother cooks, keeps house. The kids are all grown and they have had good lives. Now it's about contribution and doing good things. As you stated in the column, Monday is Mom's birthday. Say mom, we're going to be 86, right, Janet? Happy birthday. Janet raised good kids. Luann's a good daughter. In a moment, something you might not know.

Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 405 years ago today, a group of English settlers signed a formal agreement. After arriving in the New World, the men agreed to establish a civil government. The document remains a precursor to to the United States Constitution. Here is the story behind the Mayflower Compact. In the early 17th century, the British Crown began persecuting people who oppose the Church of England. Begun by that kind of religious guy, well, Henry viii. The Puritans in England did not like that church and so they got booted out and pursued freedom in the New World. Their ship, the Mayflower departed Great Britain in September 1620. After 66 days at sea, the ship missed its original destination of Virginia, arriving off the coast of Massachusetts. The sailors named the outpost Plymouth after the English port. Before getting off the Mayflower, 41 male passengers signed the so called Compact. Now outside the jurisdiction of any European power, the men created a self governing body based on majority rule. It was the first framework a government enacted in the territory that would eventually become the United States. Despite the Compact, life in Plymouth was brutal. Within 12 months, half of the colonists on the Mayflower were dead from disease or starvation. In April 1621, four months after arriving in the New World, Mayflower captain Christopher Jones and his surviving crew left the colony and returned to Europe, leaving the Puritans in to fend for themselves. And here's something else you might not know. It wasn't until centuries later that the passengers aboard the Mayflower would be known as Pilgrims. The Puritans first went by the name English Separatist Church. The word Pilgrim became popular in the early 19th century when the citizens of Plymouth formed a new group to honor the legacy of their fortune Fathers. The organization was called the Pilgrim Society. Back after this.
