Thank you, Bill. It is Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Here's what's happening today in America. A new trade deal, Clinton's cave, partial government shutdown and the American halftime show. It's all coming up. Then Bill's gonna be here with your message of the day. But first, the president announced a trade deal with India. The president wrote he, meaning the president of India, agreed to stop buying Russian oil and to buy much more from the United States and potentially Venezuela. This will help end the war in Ukraine, which is taking place right now with thousands of people dying each and every week. Out of friendship and respect for Prime Minister Modi and as per his request, effective immediately, we agreed to a trade deal between the United States and India whereby the United States will charge a reduced reciprocal tariff, lowering it from 25% to 18%. They will likewise move forward to reduce their tariffs and non tariff barriers against the United States to zero. The prime minister also committed to buy American at a much higher level. In addition to over $500 billion of US energy technology, agricultural, coal and many other products, our amazing relationship with India will be even stronger going forward. The Supreme Court still has not announced their ruling on whether Trump can institute these tariffs without congressional approval. Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have agreed to sit for closed door depositions in the House Oversight Committee's Jeffrey Epstein investigation. The House was expected to vote on Wednesday on two contempt of Congress resolutions against the Clintons, but the Clintons agreed last night to the Republicans demands. The committee seeks testimony regarding Bill's 26 flights on Epstein's plane within the first two years after he was out of office and Jeffrey Epstein's 17 visits to the White House. We're on day four of the partial government shutdown. 14,000 air traffic controllers are working without pay again. The House and Senate need to pass six spending bills, but the Homeland Security one is the one that the Democrats are fighting about. None of the Homeland Security Shutdowns, though, affect ICE. ICE received $75 billion in separate funding from the One Big Beautiful bill. So this affects aspects of DHS like FEMA and tsa. The super bowl is this Sunday and instead of the halftime show from Bad Bunny Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA is following through and offering an alternate halftime show headlined by Kid Rock. It's called the Celebrate American Faith, Family and Freedom show. Performances from Brantley Gilbert, Lee Bryce and Gabby Barron. It's going to be streamed on all of Turning Point USA's social platforms as well as Daily Wire plus TBN, Real America's Voice and One America News. Speaking of Bad Bunny, Kid Rock said he's going to have a dance party wearing a dress and singing in Spanish. Cool. We plan to play great songs for folks who love America. I'm Mike Slater. From the podcast Politics by faith. Bill O'Reilly has your message of the day next.

Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live delivered a skit mocking the Ice Minnesota situation. It bombed despite Pete Davidson playing Tom Holman. Mr. Davidson can be keenly amusing. He wasn't here. That's because some things are not funny. Like two dead protesters, an insurrection against the United States of America, sanctuary protections for brutal foreign criminals. Let me repeat, those things have no amusement potential. Neither does the dangerous open border policy imposed by President Biden or Trump officials. Not accurately describing violent confrontations or dishonest media people using death to advance transparent ideological beliefs. Not funny. Sharp satire is badly needed in the usa. It can bring relief and clarity. But real time joke making about dangerous situations is a fool's errand, as the old saying goes. Sadly, today there are plenty of fools around to do it. I'm big on humor, but let's not.

On January 29th we showed a clip of President Obama speaking on immigration. What he said aligns with Trump's current position. Yet Obama was not persecuted by the media. My question how did Barack Obama locate those 2 million he deported? Did he use ICE in the same way Trump is is no. And it was more than 2 million. Basically, the Obama homeland Security situation was stop them at the border, detain, turn them around, boot them back into Mexico. And he did it very stringently. The problem with this situation now is that Biden let everybody in so that ICE has to track them down all over the place. In Obama's era, you didn't have to do that because he stopped them right there with a mass for a massive force on the southern border. And you are absolutely right. The Democratic party supported it 100% and so did the media.

Charlotte Delangelo, Chino Valley, Arizona I watched.

The no Spin news on Thursday, January 29th and your guest is a former representative from the state of Minnesota. The reason there was not a lot of ruckus during Obama's roundup of illegals is because local police forces cooperated. Yes, to some extent. But the local police didn't have a lot to do with it because it was border driven.
Bill O'Reilly
But they did in a moment. Something you might not know.
Narrator/Reporter
Now the O'Reilly update brings you something you might not know. 67 years ago today, a plane crash killed three of the most popular rockers in America. The tragedy claimed the lives of Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and J.P. richardson, better known as the Big Bopper. The incident will go down in history as the Day the Music Died. Here is the story. In the winter of 1959, Holly and his band were touring the Midwest. Valens and the Boppers soon joined the lineup. On February 3rd, the three acts performed a sold out show in Mason City, Iowa. After the gig, they were transported by van to a local airport, destination Fargo, North Dakota. At midnight, the small plane took off under dangerous conditions. High wind, snow. Seconds later, the aircraft banked to the left, then to the right, then crashed into a field. Everyone on board, including the pilot, instantly killed. The tragedy was immortalized in the song.

And here's something else you might not know. Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Bopper are not the only musicians to perish in plane crashes. The grim list includes Patsy Cline, Otis Redding, Jim Croce nearly the entire Leonard Skynyrd band, Ricky Nelson, Stevie Ray Vaughan.
