My name is Mike Slater. I have a podcast called Politics by Faith. I was just talking to a friend of mine who said he hasn't been able to follow the news lately. It's been too much. It's too crazy. It's driving him crazy. And he's just checked out. If you feel that way sometimes, too, I think you'll really like our podcast Politics by Faith. We take the main story of the day and we run it through the Bible. What does the Bible say about this? It's amazing, but it's all there. And then God tells us what to do. We don't even have to figure it out. The answers are right there. He gives us the answers. Politics by Faith. Please join us over there. You can listen to it wherever you're listening to this podcast right now. Politics by Faith.
Bill O'Reilly
Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. Welcome to the no Spin News. May 12, 2025. Stand Up for your. Well, this was the best day the Trump administration has had since the inauguration in its second term. Anyway, lots of action and we're going to run it down now. I'm not going to use a guest because there's so much here that's important to your life. And I'm going to run it down. I'm going to speak more slowly than I usually do because tremendous amount of information and as always with Donald Trump, it could change every hour on the hour. But this is what we know, and that is the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo. So press conference this morning, President looked about as happy as he can look. So he was going to boy it. First up was the Chinese trade. Now, this has caused angst all over the world, stock market fluctuations all over the place. A lot of fear and loathing, a lot of anger, a lot of anti Trump criticism. We all know this. Okay. So over the weekend, there was a meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, between Chinese representatives and Americans, and they talked about trade for three days. Here's how President Trump summed it up. Go. And they've agreed to open China, fully open China. And I think it's going to be fantastic for China. I think it's going to be fantastic for us. And I think it's going to be great for unification and peace. Well, I hope so, but you never know. Now, as I mentioned, I'm going to China at the end of this month. I've got work to do there. I think I'm going, but you never know. But this is obviously a positive step. The stock market opened up more than 1,000 points. You get it but of course there's dissent because in the eyes of, I don't know, maybe 30% of the American public, Donald Trump can't do anything right. Roll the tape. It had to lower expectations in order to meet expectations, in order to exceed expectations. You know, basically what you're looking at is a retreat here. That's a lot. I mean, that's just ridiculous. And why msnbc, which is NBC News, would run that is just, it's absurd. You know, if anybody ever said that to me in any context, I just slice them up. Not a retreat. This is a positive step. But that guy, I mean, there's a legion of them. And NBC News recruits those people. That's what bothers me about it. Okay, so if you. It was Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and a guy that, I don't know, Jameson Greer. Those were our two guys in Geneva and looks like they did a good job. You can read Wall Street Journal is probably best at this. All of the 145% trap tariff drops to 30, drops to 15. I'm not going to bother you with that. Okay. Suffice it to say that the heat is now dropping, which is good for the world. Okay. Now the details, as I said, are going to change. It's going to be in, it's going to be out. And the anti Trump people will nitpick every single thing. And the pro Trump people will say, hallelujah, this is, we're going to be whatever, okay? Here we will tell you the truth. This is a very positive development for you, your family, your friends and for the country. That's the truth. Let's go on to drug prices. Now this in particular, senior citizens. This only has to do with Medicare and Medicaid because Feds pay money to the states and they have drug prescriptions in that package. Donald Trump cannot regulate under the Constitution prices that private companies charge in the marketplace. But when the federal government is picking up the tab, he can. So that's what this is all about. All right. And ever since I've known him, President Trump has been furious that Americans pay far more for drugs. Even though it's US Pharmaceutical companies making those drugs, then they pay overseas. And the reason for that is tariffs that Belgium and France and Greece and all the countries all over the world will not take those drugs from the US Companies unless the price is fixed and the price is negotiable. But it's much lower than what we pay. Here's President Trump today. Go. Whoever is paying the lowest price, that's the price that we're going to get. So remember that. So we're no longer paying 10 times more than another country. Whoever is paying the lowest price, we will look at that price and we will say that's the price we're going to pay. Most favored nations. That's what it is. All right, so then Trump's going to say to the pharmaceutical companies, the United States buys your drugs to distribute to the people on Medicare and in some cases, Medicaid, and this is what we're going to pay. And a drug company is going to have to do that. They can't afford to lose the US Market. Okay? This is an extraordinarily good thing for Americans and for senior citizens, because this thing has been out of control for a long time. Of course, the Trump haters, they don't like it. Go. Well, let's be clear. God created the Republican Party in order.
Mike Slater
To deliver tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations. So I will take with many grains.
Bill O'Reilly
Of salt the idea that Donald Trump.
Mike Slater
Is actually going to do something on drug prices.
Bill O'Reilly
Well, he's probably dumber than the first guy. And it's a race to the bottom. Look, pal, you're Congress from Pennsylvania, and if you are that dumb, you should resign. He's already done it. He already signed the executive order on it. Are you that dumb? I guess you are. His name, that guy is Brendan Boyle. It's ridiculous. Okay, so it's very difficult in this country to get the truth. I wrote a message of the day on billoriley.com it's free. You don't have to sign up for anything. Explaining why we have a 90% retention rate of premium members on billorilly.com because you cannot get the truth from 90% of the media outlets and politicians. Trump is trying to get these prices down so senior citizens have a little more disposable income. You know what copay is okay, Trying to get it down. Oh, he's terrible. Oh, no. It's just unbelievable. All right, so the President is on his way to the Gulf. Might be there by the time we air. And he's going to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and United Arab Emirates. He's got Marco Rubio, Secretary of State. He's got Pete Hegseth, Defense Treasury, Scott Bessant, the guy who was in Switzerland, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, who I ran into at the Nick game on. On Saturday. Right? It was Saturday. Yeah, and Nick's got destroyed by the Celtics. Anyway, Ludnick was there, and I had a nice conversation with him. And this trip is about deals, not policy. So Donald Trump is trying to secure $1 trillion from the Saudi government to invest in U.S. industry. I think he's going to get it because the Saudis need our weapons to fight off Iraq. They go get the trillion. He's got a deal for 600 billion. Now he wants it up. 400 billion. Okay, could be wrong. In the United Arab Emirates, the same thing. He wants to make deals that they will buy American AI stuff, semiconductors, all of that and a gutter. Trump wants to basically talk about military security, which means that if we have to attack Iran, we'll be able to use all the Gulf states in order to base. And he's also going to throw in Gaza cease fire stuff. So he'll be back on Friday, I guess the president and that's a long trip for him. Now he may go to Turkey and I'll tell you why in a moment. But along the way Gutter has offered to donate a jumbo jet to the Trump administration because Boeing can't build Air Force One. Now Boeing, based out of Seattle and I think they have a big plant in South Carolina as well, is in dire trouble. I don't know what happened to used to be the premier plane building company in the world. Now it can't do. It's constantly in trouble. So Air Force One, as you may have heard Trump say 18 times today, is 40 years old. You don't want to be flying around 40 year old plane. But Boeing can't build the Air Force One. So Gutter says, hey, we'll give you our best plane free. Trump says, okay. Oh, no, no, no, no. I mean, it was really funny. And I only did this because of my news. I have to gather the news. I turned on the View and there they are, like, these ladies know anything. So if the Trump administration does accept that plane, it's going to have to be done with congressional oversight. Now, they'll get it because Republicans control Congress, but they just can't take the plane. There's steps you have to go by and Congress has got to be involved in that. And it will happen, I think. And then Trump says, after I'm president, then I'm going to. The Qataris told me I can use the plane at my library because Reagan has a plane out there, an Air Force One out in Simi Valley, I believe. Anyway, this is just a piffle. It means nothing. Okay? But this is what the Trump haters, they grab onto, all right, Habeas corpus. Now this means something. So we'll go from nothing to something. Habeas corpus means that the government cannot come into your home. And if you're arrested, there has to be a warrant. And then you're entitled to an attorney and you're entitled to a speedy trial in front of a jury of your peers. That's habeas corpus. Government can't violate that. According to Constitution. It has been violated four times in the past in our past history. And I'll get to that in a moment. But Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, who is a bomb thrower. Okay, put this out. Go.
Mike Slater
Well, the Constitution is clear, and that, of course, is the supreme law of the land, that the privilege of the writ of habeas corpus can be suspended.
Bill O'Reilly
In a time of invasion.
Mike Slater
So I would say that's an option we're actively looking at.
Bill O'Reilly
Okay, the invasion is migrants, 12 million undocumented here. So the Trump administration says it's an invasion. Supreme Court going to Say that. I don't think so, but I could be wrong. Okay? But that's what Trump administration said. We're invaded. We were invaded. Now, we weren't really invaded because President Biden invited them in, allowed these people to come in. That's the problem the Trump administration and Miller had. So this wasn't guys just storming the walls. Biden said, hey, come on in. I don't care. We're not going to obey immigration law. My administration for four years, we're not. We're not obeying it. Once that gets into the court system, the invasion thing is going to be tamped down. So I don't expect to hear a lot about this. All right, the habeas Corp is not going to be suspended. Okay? You can take it to the bank. If you can get a bet on that, take the bet. Now, the other thing. Abraham Lincoln suspended habeas corpus just in the state of Maryland, because in that state, during the Civil War, there were riots. Maryland was a divided state between slave people, wanted slavery, people did, and there were riots in the streets and they were provoked by Confederate spies. So Lincoln said, no, we're throwing everybody, all the rioters in jail. No charges, nothing. Boom, you're in jail. That's what happened there. Then in 1871, the Ku Klux Klan took over 11 counties in South Carolina, took them over, ran them, until US Grant finally sent federal forces down and suspended the writ of habeas corpus. This went in and wiped out the Klan. Then. I didn't even know this. In 1905, there was a rebellion in the Philippines, which was controlled by the USA, and they suspended habeas corpus there. And in 1941, after Pearl harbor was bombed by the Japanese, they suspended habeas corpus in Hawaii because they didn't know if there were Japanese infantry. Zero. It's the only times it happened. Isn't that an interesting story? Now Miller just does that, throws that hand grenade in just to drive the liberal media crazy, which work. And then Miller goes out and has a nice dinner. That's what the Trump administration does. Okay. Thursday, Zelensky is going to meet with Putin in Turkey. Okay, why? Because the EU has threatened Putin, not Trump, and said, if you don't sign off on a 30 day ceasefire, we are going to put massive sanctions on you. Russia. And Russia economy is like this. Okay? So it was a direct threat from Macron of France and a whole bunch of others in Europe, Germany. Okay? Said, hey, you better stop for 30 days or we're cutting everything off. Trump hinted he might go from the Gulf to Turkey if he thinks that stuff is going well. We're watching it closely, but that's why that happened. Putin and Zelensky have only met once before, in 2019. They hate each other, but you know, look, both can't continue this way. That's a strong point that the west has. Both Ukraine and Russia are getting massively hurt. Hamas releases the last American hostage in Gaza Adan Alexander, 21 years old. He was 19 when he was abducted by Hamas. He was in the Israeli army. He was raised in Tenafly, New Jersey, and they let him out and he was given to the Red cross in Gaza. 59 hostages still there. 24 of the 59 are dead, according to Hamas. Trump's trying to get the rest out.

So I'm glad that Mr. Alexander is home with his parents. That more than about a year and a half. Boy, Boy. So you can see that all this happened in one day. Oh, boom, boom, boom. Think back to Joe Biden. Think any of that would have happened? Just asking. All right. Donald Trump is urging the Supreme Court to end Biden's mass parole. Now, this is a story that people don't understand. Again, that's why I like you to watch and listen on the radio with a pen and paper. So under the Biden administration, there are four countries singled out for special consideration in the migrant area. Four countries. Those countries are Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela, all horrible places run by crazy people and in a humanitarian way. And that's what the basis of this was. If you can get here and you're a citizen of any of those countries, you can stay, according to President Biden. But he didn't vet anybody. Of course not. Why would he bother vetting anybody? So in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and to a lesser extent, Haiti and Cuba, criminals came and they were running wild, not overwhelming. The most criminals are from Mexico and Central and South American country. Nicaragua, of course, as well. But Biden was noble in a sense that these are terrible countries. Political repression is all over the place. But then he didn't vet anybody because he was too lazy to do his job or he didn't understand or he was in a fog or he was taking a nap. I don't know. So Trump is going to Supreme Court. Hold it. We have to vet these people. But a judge in Boston, of course, Indira Talwani, appointed by Barack Obama, said, no, no, Nope, Trump can't demand that. Okay, so Trump's going to the Supreme Court. Problem is that Justice Kjani Brown Jackson, probably the most liberal member, even worse on the left. And Sotomayor is in charge of hearing this. I don't think it's going to get anywhere. This is politics in the justice system, the immigration system. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it'll get to the Supreme Court. I don't know. Hey, Bill O'Reilly here. In my career, I have interviewed seven presidents, covered every major story of the last few decades. But I've never seen an opportunity like this one. President Trump's second term could mirror the economic boom in the 1920s, a time when unemployment hit 1.8%, stocks soared 265%, and ordinary Americans had their shot at real prosperity. That's why I've recorded a special presentation with renowned investment expert Alexander Green called the rebirth of the American Dream. Alex will reveal how President Trump plans to slash regulations, cut taxes, bring manufacturing back to America and unlock the AI driven tech boom. Plus, you will get details on six specific stocks that could soar during Trump's presidency. Please visit trumpsamericandream.com to watch our presentation. Now let's go to Newark, New Jersey. I don't know why you would want to go to Newark, New Jersey. The Devils play there, have a nice arena, but not exactly the kind of town you want to spend a lot of time in. I'm sorry. Suburbs are nice, cities are dumb. Airport doesn't work, so you can't fly in there. You got to fly to Philly or New York. Can't fly into Newark. If you try, you're going to get hosed anyway. There is a big ice detention facility in Newark and a bunch of left wing people besieged it over the weekend. Roll a T. All right, so the mayor of Newark, Ross Baraka, Democrat, 55 years old, two term mayor, he was arrested for the, let's see, disturbing the peace, trespassing, Nothing will happen to him. I mean, he got what he wanted. This was a stunt. Okay, Noble with the migrants, they hate eyes. Okay, on and on. We all know what it is. And you know, I'm not opposed to that kind of a demonstration. Just don't break the law. Don't, you know, demonstrate what you want. Iran. So here the Trump administration is caught in a tough cycle. Iran is playing games, just like Putin's playing games. They don't want to make any deal. They want to get a nuke. But Trump is very clear, you're not going to get a nuke. And if you continue to do this kind of stuff, build a nuke and enrich the uranium, we're going to bomb you. Or Israel will bomb you, but you're going to get bombed. It's as simple as that. That's what it is. You got to stop enriching uranium to make your bomb. We're going to bomb you. Going to take out all your ports. Not going to get anything in or out. So the Iranians go, okay, well, we'll talk about it and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk. So Steve Witkoff, you know, he got very high praise from President Trump today. He's the head investigator. He was the guy who did the Chinese deal and he goes over to Oman, Muscat, to negotiate with the Iranians. Are they going to get a deal? They have to get a deal because the mullahs have no protection. Israel love to waste them, love to take them right out. They have no allies in the Gulf. Everybody hates Iran. They have no allies. Putin is their only ally. And Putin's not going to believe me. He's got his own problems. So they got to get a deal. But it's very, very difficult. I. I'm pretty good at negotiating these things, but I wouldn't want to be doing this. These people. When you read the chapter and my book Confronting Evil, which is out in September on Ayatollah Khomeini, what do you see? I mean, these people are not. They don't live on the same planet that we live on. All right, the Pope. So he invites the media in. All right? I understand worldwide media, which is not much better than the American media. The American media is as corrupt as it's ever been in the entire history of our country. And you know what? I've tried. How many times do I have to prove it? Okay, so the Pope invites everybody in at the Vatican's Nervi hall today and says this. Go.
Mike Slater
The church recognizes in these witnesses. I'm thinking of those who report on war, even at the cost of their lives, the courage of those who defend dignity, justice, and the right of people to be informed, because only informed individuals can make free choices.
Bill O'Reilly
And that's true. That's why we do so well here. So our goal is to inform you honestly. Now, the Pope speaks English, but he was speaking in Italian, which I thought was a mistake, because most of the media in the world, because of social media and the Internet, is English. I don't know why he's speaking Italian for what? Most international reporters speak English, but that's nitpicking. But he's right. I mean, you know, we need an honest, vibrant media. And I've been in war zones. I've been at risk. And I did it to try to get you information. You know, I got a ton of mail. I'll read you one letter later about why are you going to China? You know, And I say, I have to go. I'm reporting. All right? I have a window that very few human beings have by this invitation. And we're going to try to shoot a little of it. I don't know whether I can be successful doing that or not, but either way, I have to do it. Am I scared? I'm not scared. I mean, I'm not a. That's not the kind of guy I am. I don't think the Chinese are Going to do anything untoward. But if they do, they do. Smart Life. So I'm the wrong guy to give you this advice. I don't want to be a hypocrite. I am not a patient man, and that's good and bad. I get a lot of things done because I cut through the bs. I got no tolerance for it, but sometimes ridiculous, okay? And I'm demanding that things happen. And. But if you are patient, you are smarter than I am or more disciplined than I am. However, about a month ago, on April 16, when all hell was breaking loose about these tariffs, this is what I said. Go now. Stock market's crazy again today. Again, I reiterate, I'm not doing anything. All right? It's up, down, it's annoying beyond belief, but to sell on the down. And I, you know, I think it will sort itself out, out in the next month or so. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm doing. Which was nothing. Not selling. I bought a little bit, but not much. Now I'm turning out to be right today, May 12, but three days hence, I might be wrong. So here is the Smart Life tip number one. Be as patient as you can. I was patient. I didn't make any crazy moves. But now I've recovered and maybe you have to. All of the things that I lost when the tariff hysteria kicked in, what am I going to do now? I looked at it today. I looked at my portfolio today, and I'm going to. I didn't pull the trigger on any sales. But here's a Smart Life tip. If you went through mental anguish earlier this year because of the stock market craziness, if that happened to you, you might want to consider slimming it down now. Okay? So I told you a few weeks ago that I sold some gold that I had because it was at a high level. I can't give you individual financial advice, can just tell you what I'm doing. I have a tolerance for risk, so I don't have to sell. But I know a lot of people who really almost physically sick about what happened to their portfolios in April. If that was you, cut it down, get your money out, get your money back. Maybe you made a little money, okay? And just live so you're not suffering because it's going to go down again. I don't know when, nobody knows when. All of these economic signs today were good. But if somebody does a terror attack, if some crazy thing happened, okay, that's Smart Life. You got to know yourself. All right? The global Organized Crime index is out with the most dangerous countries in the world. Okay, fascinating list.

And this is based on human trafficking, smuggling, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, financial crimes, cyber dependent crimes, environmental crimes like shooting wildlife and all of that. That's what it's about. Here are the top five and I'll give you the another five. Myanmar. That's Burma. Okay, that's number one. That is narcotics. The golden triangle. Poppies, heroin. The Anamar military government, which is a dictatorship. Totalitarians, they get paid off. Big heroin factor. Colombia. That is cocaine. Same thing. Mexico is a combination of all drugs and the highest murder rate in the western hemisphere. By far. Dangerous country, out of control. Paraguay. Now that's an interesting country. Paraguay. A lot of Nazis went there after World War II. That's a smuggler's haven. Very few people enforce the law in Paraguay. If you're a smuggler, no matter what it is, you can go there and operate with impunity. Next one is the Congo. That is diamonds and totally out of control murders. No law enforcement in the Congo. Here are the next five. Nigeria. Lot of crime, very little supervision. Then we go to South Africa. That's basically street crime. They can't control street crime in South Africa. If you walk around Johannesburg after dark, you're out of your blanket mind. Iraq, that's a government breakdown. And there are so many guns in Iraq, so many jihadists, so many idiots running around. Afghanistan, same thing. Say everybody's got a gun and they don't like you, they shoot you. And Lebanon, no central government. Now the USA is 67 on the list. Decent. UK 61. They're more dangerous than we are. UK China's 33. China is all about stealing other people's stuff. Intellectual theft, that kind of thing. You commit a crime, a street crime in China, you're done, okay? You're finished. There's no due process in China. The safest place, Polynesia in the South Pacific. Nobody there, but nothing to steal. But if you want to be relaxed, you go to Polynesia, stay in history. On May 12, 2002, Jimmy Carter arrives in Cuba. First US President to visit since Castro turned the nation Communist. That was 23 years ago. Today, here's what Carter said. I recognize, recognized far in advance, that after 43 years of misunderstanding and animosity, that one brief trip could not change the basic relationships between our peoples. But my hope is that in some small way, at least, our visit might improve that situation in the future. Well, I did in 2016, under Barack Obama, who was, you know, friendly toward Cuba, relatively speaking. I went okay with a bunch of guys, and, boy, was it interesting. Totalitarian state. It was surveillance, everybody. We were followed. Beautiful beaches. My God, no air conditioning for these people. It's one of the hottest places in the world. They had nothing. Cuban people have nothing. Now, if you want to go to Cuba, there you cannot go under the Trump administration for leisure travel. Okay? If you have family there or a business, you can get a special visa. But if you just want to go on vacation like we did, Varadero Beach, a beautiful beach, can't do it anymore. When we flew over from Key west, when you pop, pop took like 15 minutes. All right. And I have a big thank you for you in the final thought. Here is the final thought of the day. As you know, my Courtney, Holly passed away a few weeks ago, and the condolences still coming in from all over the world. I think Holly broke the Guinness Book of Records for pet condolences. And I can't answer them all, and it just kills me. And they're coming in from everywhere, so by the time they reach me, you know, But I just want to thank everybody now for acknowledging Holly. And she was a beautiful dog. And we miss. The house will never be the same. You know, even after the weeks pass, you know, I still. When I come home, it's just not the same. And, you know, if you've had a pet dog or cat or parakeet or whatever, and you get attached to them and they're not there, you know what it is. But the generosity of spirit, you know, I don't. I'm not a sentimental man. I don't do this a lot, but you just see the people with the cards and the drawings and the pictures, and, you know, and they take the time out of their lives, do this, and then they figure out where to send it. I mean, that's called generosity of spirit. And I have answered some, but I just can't answer them all. I mean, it's just impossible for me to do it. But I want you to know that, boy, oh, boy, it was really a tribute to Holly. And, you know, I'm very, very thankful that you are listening and watching me, not only because of commercial reasons, but because I think most of you good folks far more important. So we will be here all this week, and boy, what a week. This is going to shaping up the big right. Thank you for watching. We'll see you tomorrow.

Bill O'Reilly opens the episode by declaring it as the best day the Trump administration has experienced since the inauguration of its second term. He emphasizes the significance of the day's events and chooses to forego guest appearances to comprehensively address the plethora of important developments affecting listeners' lives. O'Reilly mentions speaking more slowly than usual to ensure clarity amidst the substantial information being discussed.
O'Reilly highlights a recent trade meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, where Chinese and American representatives engaged in three days of negotiations.
President Trump's Statement:
“They've agreed to open China, fully open China. And I think it's going to be fantastic for China. I think it's going to be fantastic for us. And I think it's going to be great for unification and peace.”
[02:30]
Market Reaction:
The stock market responded positively, opening over 1,000 points higher. Despite this, O'Reilly notes that approximately 30% of the American public remains critical of Trump, attributing this dissent to media bias, particularly targeting NBC News. He asserts, “That's just ridiculous. And why MSNBC, which is NBC News, would run that is just, it's absurd.”
[04:10]
Expert Opinions:
Treasury Secretary Scott Besant and Jameson Greer, representing the U.S., were commended for their effective negotiation in Geneva.
Trade Tariffs:
O'Reilly simplifies the discussion on tariff reductions, stating, “Wall Street Journal is probably best at this. All of the 145% trap tariff drops to 30, drops to 15.” He concludes that the reduction in trade pressures is beneficial globally.
Focusing on healthcare, O'Reilly discusses President Trump's efforts to lower drug prices, particularly affecting Medicare and Medicaid.
Trump’s Policy Explanation:
“Whoever is paying the lowest price, that's the price that we're going to get.”

By leveraging the U.S. market's purchasing power, drug companies are compelled to lower prices to remain competitive internationally.
Criticism and Defense:
O'Reilly rebuts critics who claim Trump favors billionaires, asserting, “Donald Trump is trying to get these prices down so senior citizens have a little more disposable income.” He acknowledges opposition but reinforces the administration's positive intentions for Americans.
O'Reilly outlines Trump's strategic trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, aiming to secure significant investments and bolster military alliances.
Economic Deals:
Trump seeks to secure up to $1 trillion from Saudi Arabia for U.S. industry, with initial deals reaching $600 billion and aspirations for an additional $400 billion.
Technology and Defense Agreements:
Discussions include commitments from Gulf states to purchase American AI technologies and semiconductors, reinforcing U.S. economic and military positions.
Qatar’s Offer:
Qatar has offered to donate a jumbo jet to the Trump administration, a gesture entwined with congressional oversight requirements, which O'Reilly deems “just a piffle” with no substantial impact.
A significant portion of the episode delves into the Trump administration's controversial proposal to suspend habeas corpus.
Definition and Importance:
Habeas corpus ensures that the government cannot unlawfully detain individuals without due process. O'Reilly explains, “Habeas corpus means that the government cannot come into your home. And if you're arrested, there has to be a warrant.”

Historical Context:
O'Reilly recounts instances when habeas corpus was previously suspended, including during the Civil War, Reconstruction, in the Philippines, and post-Pearl Harbor.

Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller advocates for suspension, labeling the situation as an “invasion” due to 12 million undocumented migrants. O'Reilly discusses the upcoming meeting between Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and Russian President Putin in Turkey, prompted by the European Union's threats of massive sanctions on Russia if a 30-day ceasefire isn't agreed upon.

The meeting underscores the dire economic and human toll on both Ukraine and Russia, highlighting the necessity for diplomatic engagement.
Hostage Situation:
The release of American hostage Adan Alexander by Hamas is noted as a pivotal moment, with 59 hostages still held, 24 of whom are deceased. O'Reilly commends Trump's efforts to secure Alexander's release, emphasizing the complexities and ongoing challenges in negotiating hostage situations.
O'Reilly critiques President Biden's immigration policies, particularly the mass parole system for citizens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.
Biden’s Policy:
Allows citizens from specified countries to stay in the U.S. without proper vetting, leading to an influx of criminals predominantly from Mexico and Central America.
Trump’s Legal Challenge:
Trump seeks to challenge these policies in the Supreme Court, but O'Reilly doubts the administration's chances due to the court's liberal composition, especially citing Justices Kavanaugh, Brown, and Sotomayor.
