Now, when you watch the interview, because Homan has been a lot of places in the media, assess how different this chat is. Now, I'm not bragging, but it's different when I interview somebody. And you'll see it and we'll discuss it tomorrow. Also, I have a name for this program tonight. If it's Tuesday, and it is, it must be chaos. And national security is the subject of this evening's Talking Points Memo. So you've heard about it. There was a big national security meeting. It took place on March 15th at 11:44 in the morning in Washington, D.C. j.D. Vance, the Vice President, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, DIA Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabber, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and national security officials, big crew, right? And Pete Hegseth, the secretary of defense. Now, the meeting was supposed to be secret and to discuss bombing the Houthis in Yemen who are terrorizing shipping in the Red Sea. Got the scene. Somehow, some way, a guy named Jeffrey Goldberg gets on the threat. So all these people weren't in the room. They were going back and forth on the Internet, which is always a problem. So Goldberg is in there and he's listening and reading all the texts and the back and forth. I don't know anything about the Internet, but this is on an app called Signal. Okay. We don't know exactly how Goldberg got in there yet, but we'll find out. So this is. This is bad. Capital B, capital A, capital D. Bad. But Jeffrey Goldberg is not to be trusted. He is the guy who made up that bogus story about President Trump in Europe calling dead Americans in World War II and World War I suckers. Remember, that story was totally fabricated. This is the guy. So, you know, nobody would invite him in. He just got on there somehow. We needed to know how. Big time. Okay, so you have the scene. Congress not happy. The Senate Intelligence Committee today bringing in Gabbard and a CIA Director, John Radcliffe. Go. Senator, I'm not going to get into this. Why are you. Why are you going to get into the specifics?

Thank you. Okay. And there weren't any revelations in the hearings. It was the Democratic senators pounding the Trump administration. And if it were reversed, Republican senators would have done the same thing. That's the way the game is played in Washington. But for you and me, honest American citizens, we want some accountability here. I would assume. Here's what I said on News Nation last night. Look, if you hate Trump, then you're going to put the worst spin on it. If you like Trump, then you're going to say, no big deal. My job is to tell the audience on News Nation exactly what happened. And I'm going to recap it very quickly. Okay? Number one, these guys did not prepare enough for this discussion. They were not responsible enough to protect the country. It's obvious, okay? They did not know that this weasel Goldberg was going to be on the threat. Somebody allowed him in, and that should be investigated. And I'm going to insist on that, that we know who allowed how this Goldberg got access. You have to know so it doesn't happen again. Now, upon hearing all this, Hillary Clinton went on X with one sentence. It says, you have to be kidding me. All right. Because Hillary Clinton was attacked vehemently for having classified information on her private server. You'll remember that. But I don't know, Mrs. Clinton, if this is really what you want to do. This was obviously a screw up, a mistake. I don't believe anybody let Jeffrey Goldberg on that thread intentionally. I don't believe it. There was no reason for it. But you, madam, intentionally, all right, cleansed your phone and your computer. You took it all out. You take all the classified stuff that you had illegally, and you try to get rid of it. It's not even close to being the same thing. I want to sit this one out. All right, so summing up, this is a story that will go away quickly. There'll be another controversy tomorrow, Wednesday. But we need to know how the Scoberg got on that threat. Fair. That's a memo. Congressman Jim Jordan, he ardent Republican, big Trump booster, so he is trying to defend the deportations. And as you know, the Trump administration is sending people to El Salvador and other countries that they deem to be undesirable. Not all migrants are being rounded off. All right? It's the criminal element, along with some people who get caught up in those raids. That's what's happening. Okay, so a guy named Judge James Bose Berg, 62 years old, works out of D.C. very liberal judge. He wants to suspend the migrant deportations to El Salvador, and he issued an induction. Problem was that there was a plane in the air taking criminals to El Salvador, and that plane continued and landed, and those people are in prison there. United States pays the government, El Salvador, to take those people. Now, this is a big legal matter, may go to the Supreme Court, but it's also a matter for Congress. And Jordan is getting involved. Go. And then finally, you got this judge saying this crazy decision, turn the plane around, bring the bad guys back to America. That makes no sense.

So when you look at all that.

Coupled with this judge's history with the FISA court, with the sentence he gave to Kleinsmith, the lawyer, Kevin Klein Smith, who altered the document in front of the FISA court. It really starts to look like Judge Boasberg is operating purely political against the president. And that's what we want to have hearings on this broad issue and some of what Judge Boasberg is doing. Okay, that's worthy. Let's find out about the judge. Now, this Klein Smith situation is he was an FBI lawyer who falsified a warrant in the Russian collusion case so that the Bureau could spy on the Trump campaign. That's what this guy did. About 30,000 undocumented migrants have been deported since Donald Trump took over a little more than two months ago. Illegal crossings from Mexico into the USA down 94%. A colossal victory for Donald Trump, no doubt about it. And the people who oppose him are trying to chip away at that. There's no doubt about that either. Okay, so enter the ICE Chief Tom Homan. He is in charge of deportation. I spoke with him yesterday. So, Mr. Homan, I've noticed when you appear on the network news and some cables that the questioning is often hostile to you. It's not neutral questioning. It's like, hey, what are you doing? How many people did you throw out today? And I'm sure you noticed that too. And I'm saying to myself, why. Do you have any idea why that so many, so many of the American press corps are antagonistic to you?

[Tom Homan]

Well, I think it's because I served President Trump. I mean, you know, when I worked for, I was a third in command ICE under Barack Obama, we had over 409,000 removals. And they weren't hostile then. So I think working for President Trump makes immediate hostile anybody that serves President Trump. But look, I'm proud to work with President Trump. I think he's the greatest president in my lifetime and especially when it comes to border security and immigration enforcement and national security. So they don't bother me. Look, if I can get rid of their heads rent free, I'm okay with that because I'm going to keep telling the truth whether they like it or not. My talking points never change. I don't care if I'm talking to a conservative or talking to a liberal. They're going to hear the same thing because what I give them is facts. They can like it or not like it, but they're going to hear the truth.

Okay, but they don't like it. Now, when you were working for President Obama, who deported more undocumented people than any other president in history, all right, and most of those were at the border that got kicked back fast and they didn't have this asylum con that they rose up under President Biden. When you were working for Barack Obama, in my research on him from my book Confronting the Presidents, he, he didn't want an open border. He didn't want chaotic immigration. Am I correct there?

[Tom Homan]

Well, his first term, like I said, we removed a lot of people in the first term and largely because we're counting Border patrol removals with ICE removals. And that's how come the number got so big. But he was pushing for that. He was pushing for more removals. But under the second term, the Obama term, we pretty much got shut down. I mean, once he got the name deporter in chief, operations really slowed down. And that's one of the reasons at the end of that administration that I decided to retire after four years doing that, tired of it. But in the beginning he was about securing the border. In the last four years he was not.

And you think it was political pressure, obviously from the left that caused that?

[Tom Homan]

Absolutely.

[Bill O'Reilly]

Okay. Now one of the beefs against Homeland Security is they are not. They are deporting non criminal migrants along with the criminals. And I believe that's true to some extent, because how could you possibly know when you go sweep a whole bunch of people say you're a criminal migrant, married to a person who isn't a criminal. Stuff like that. How valid is that criticism that ICE is now deporting people quickly without due process that aren't criminals?

[Tom Homan]

Well, they all get due process. I mean the non criminals, where does most non criminals get arrested? Sanctuary cities. And I've said this for two months, Sanctuary city is going to get exactly what they don't want. More agents in their communities and more collateral arrest. Because if we can't arrest a bad guy in the county jail, one agent arrests one criminal alien. And they're going to release them like the major cities this country, sanctuary cities. You're going to release them back in the community. Okay, fine. We're still going to do our job, which means we're going to go to the community and we're going to find him. And when we find them, most likely they're with others. Others that are illegally in the United States, but not a criminal. Well, we're not going to tell ICE agents, forget the oath we took, ignore the immigration law, walk away from these people. No, they're going to come too. So when you look at the collaterals and non criminals, most of them arrested in sanctuary cities because they forced us in that position, we're going to arrest them.

That's an important point. So when you do a sweep, if you find a non criminal migrant, that person gets taken into custody, correct?

[Tom Homan]

Yeah. To be clear, when we do a target enforcement operation, we know exactly who we're looking for and we're most likely we're going to find them. And when we go to that location, look for that target, that criminal target, many times, most times he's with others. Especially if they're at a work site, they're coming too.

They're coming.

[Tom Homan]

So sanctuary cities are forcing us into that situation. So if you, I've said this many times, let us send a jail. That means more, less agents in the neighborhood. That means less collaterals. But they refused to assist ice, so we're going to keep doing what we're doing.

Just to be clear, when you do an enforcement sweep, it is based upon information provided about criminal aliens, is that correct? Local, state, federal information, right?

[Tom Homan]

That's exactly right.

[Bill O'Reilly]

Okay, stop.

[Tom Homan]

I wouldn't call it a sweet bill. I call it a target enforcement operation. We have a target. We got a sheet. Who's the alien's name? What's his immigration record, what's his criminal record? Where most likely will we Find him. And it has to be approved by supervisors. We go on the street looking for somebody. We have a whole fugitive operation sheet that details who this person is we're looking for.

And where do you get that information? From the states, from the locals. Where does that come from?

[Tom Homan]

Through various databases that we use at ice. I can't tell you all of them because the law enforcement sensitive. But we do targeting based on criminal databases. We use all sorts of social media. We use a lot of things I don't want to discuss here. But we create those target bases so.

You get this stuff. And if there's an undocumented alien who is not a criminal, they get swept up, they get deported sometimes and it depends on the process. Am I correct?

[Tom Homan]

Yes.

[Bill O'Reilly]

All right. Now, Michelle Wu in Boston is heading for collision with Tom Holman, who's speaking to me right now again this weekend. She basically said we're not, we're not going to cooperate on any level. We want undocumented people in the city of Boston. And she's backed up by the Governor of Massachusetts, Maura Healey. Do you have any plans to take action against Mayor Wu and Governor Healy?

[Tom Homan]

Actually the first show where I can make this announcement. So as I promised at cpac, I was going to go to Boston. I'm going to bring hell with me. And we did. I was in Boston this last Tuesday. I started an operation with ICE, HSI, ERO, FBI, ATF, DEA, US Marshals in the State Department. And in five day operation we arrested 370 illegal aliens in Boston and the surrounding communities in Massachusetts. And 205 of those were significant public safety threats, including four murderers, child rapists, armed robbers, a couple Interpol red nose arrests. We arrested a lot of bad people in the last five days in Massachusetts, many of them in Boston. We just put the numbers again today. You're the first show I've actually been able to talk about this. The numbers just got put out today, bill.

Excellent. But Ms. Wu is defiant even in the face of those incredible stats. And they are incredible. If you know the city of Boston, it's not New York City, it's not nearly that large. So I'm wondering whether the next step for the Justice Department, it wouldn't be. It would be the Attorney General Bondi is going to go after people like Michelle Wu for violating some tenet of federal law. Do you believe that will happen?

[Tom Homan]

I hope it will happen. I know Pam Bonney's already put sanctuary cities on notice. I know she's already sued a couple. I sent that report to Pam Bond this morning, who we arrested in Boston and the surrounding area and the public safety threats that we had to take off the street. Because if we got to go to the street and arrest people like this, the job of ICE is already dangerous. But to go arrest an aggravated felon, murder, public safety threat in the general public not only puts the officer at risk, it puts the community at risk. So I sent the numbers this morning to doj. So I think Pam Bonney will take action and do what she can do, but she's already started suing sanctuary cities. So, you know, God bless Pam, Bonnie. I think she's. I think she's going to do the right thing, and I think she's going to try to hold these sanctuary cities accountable in courts.

All right, so it'll be civil litigation, not criminal litigation. Correct.

I'll leave that up to Pam Bondi. We'll see what happens.

But it would be amazing to see a big city mayor or a state governor like Pritzker in Illinois or even here, Hochul in New York. She plays the double game. The damage that the Biden administration did to the country, and I know this is a political question, but it has troubled me from the very beginning. Seems to me to be incalculable as far as the treasury is concerned. Crime is concerned, social upheaval is concerned. Do you have any idea why Joe Biden opened that border for three and a half years? Do you have any idea why that man did that?

[Tom Homan]

No, I can only guess. And I've said many times, I worked for six presidents, down with Ronald Reagan. Even when Clinton Obama took steps, as we discussed, to try to take action to secure the border, no one did more. And President Trump, he was unprecedented at his success. We had the most secure border in my lifetime. But Joe Biden's the first president in my lifetime who came into office and unsecured a border on purpose. That wasn't mismanagement. It wasn't incompetence. He knew exactly what he was doing, along with Alejandro Mayorkas.

But there must be chat, though. There must be chat in Homeland Security and in the Border Patrol precincts about the why of all this. What did he think he was accomplishing?

Saw Purser political benefit and let millions of people into this country. Remember when he did, when he did everything to secure the border? What else did he do? He overturned the Trump census rule, which means millions of people released in sanctuary cities will be counted next census, which will lead to more seats in house for the Dems. I think they saw a future political benefit by releasing millions of people in sanctuary cities in this country. That is my belief.

Final question. California has 50% of the undocumented migrants. Newsom is now backpedaling, as you know. But LA and San Francisco are still sanctuary cities. Do you expect anything to change in California?

I can tell you ICE is going to we'll be going to LA and San Francisco very soon. In sanctuary cities, we can't arrest a bad guy in jail. We'll double the man force in those cities. But we're going to do our job. Sanctuary, not sanctuary. You want to step aside and watch us protect your communities, then have at it. Just don't get in the way. Don't cross that line of normally harboring, concealing illegal ammo. Don't cross that line of impeding us because there will be consequences. But we're coming. We're going to do this job. The Biden administration who ignored the courts on forgiveness of student loan, they told me couldn't do it, he did it and he fought him every step of the way on that. Well, no, this is a law and order administration. We're going to do the right thing. Absolutely.

Everything that he's doing is getting criticized in the media. And he says that he's helping and he's not. He's making us look bad. He's making me look bad. And I'll tell you this. And he wouldn't like it if I said it, but he's not even inadvertent. He is from South Africa. They his cosplay as this great American leader in a room that has the portraits of some of the greatest men that ever lived in this country. And he has the audacity to act like he is an elected official. I am an elected official. I am an important one in this situation, not him.

So the video is a phony. It's AI, all right. Vance says it, his director says it, everybody says it. It's a phony. Dangerous, because this stuff goes overseas, goes all over the world. So what do we do? Here's what Chris Cuomo said last night.

Congress should make what we are witnessing a crime, a federal crime. Not just a civil defamation, not just civil fraud. A crime. Why? If you don't punish the hell out of somebody and invest in the software and capabilities and training to decode when somebody has made something, I don't know what we're going to do. That could cause wars, this AI stuff. So I agree with Cuomo. It should be a felony at the federal level and there should be a separate part of The FBI to investigate AI fraud. That should happen almost immediately. Kash Patel, because you got to get ahead of this now to make a phony video that goes all over the world and million and a half people watch it with the voice of the Vice President of the United States. It's about as serious it gets. We need to act on this and fast.

He gave porcelain cups, plates and a dvd. I don't know, but President Obama even has them. And Putin gave Biden $12,000 writing box and pen. Wow. And I know Biden has that. 12,000 gigs Putin. He curries favor with the powerful. You know, it's what evil men do. And is it going to get him anywhere? I'm following the negotiations in Saudi Arabia. Apparently they're agreeing that there's not going to be any attacks on the Black Sea, which borders Russia and Ukraine by either. But let's just wait and see how this all evolves there. So if you have that stuff, all right, now's the time to move on it. Prices are high, demand is high for it. Now, some of this stuff is going to be worthless, and you're going to think it's worth it, and you bring it in, and the guy is going to go, I don't think so. But you need to get three evaluations, not just one. So what you do is you go to jewelry stores or whatever, antique places, and you ask for an appraiser, and some of them will have them and some of them won't. And you get three separate appraisals of your gear, whatever you have. Now, coins, that's a little more sophisticated, but in the appraisal, and you may have to pay for it a little bit, some do it free, some don't. You need to have it written down what the estimated value of your gold, silver, watch, or watch, whatever, what the estimated value is. And then you see, you compare the three, and then if you want to sell, you obviously take the highest bidder. It's not that they're always going to buy from you, but you'll know pretty much what it's worth because you don't have to sell. You can go into a store and say, look, here's what I need on this. Will you take it and put in your display case? Coins are a little bit more sophisticated. Their coin dealers are everywhere. I wouldn't do it on the Internet. I would do it in person because almost every place in the United States has these shops. But again, this is the time to move this stuff. Georgia says, you know, we didn't like the way the 2020 election turned out here in our state. And Georgia was, you know, one of those states where Donald Trump said he got hosed, you'll remember. So Georgia changed the election law four years ago today, and Joe Biden, the President of the United States, went wild. Go. It is reassuring to see that for profit operations and businesses are speaking up about how these new Jim Crow laws are just antithetical to who we are. That's just a bunch of bull. They're not Jim Crow laws. And Georgia's laws have been challenged. And they lost. Georgia won. What is Biden objecting to? Here it is. Voter ID for absentee ballots. Old Joe said, no, we don't need that. Of course you need it. Of course you do. On an absentee ballot. Of course you need an id or people that are not American citizens would vote. Oh, my God. Limitations on ballot dropboxes. Well, that's debatable, but I mean, how many are you going to have? Everyone in the state got one prohibiting the distribution of food and drinks, and I think that's small ball. I don't care about the food and drinks. When you're lined up to vote. And finally, reduced timeframe for requesting absentee ballots. Absolutely necessary to avoid chaos and vote counts that expend a month after election day. But by goes Jim Crow. You know what Jim Crow law is? Jim Crow was designed to make it impossible for black Americans to vote. Does that make it impossible to show an ID and have fewer dropboxes? Joe. Boy, oh, boy. Anyway, Georgia rehabbed its voting system four years ago today. Back with a final thought about your summer vacation. Okay, final thought of the day. I booked a trip I told you about. I'm taking my son for a graduation gift to North Asia. Hotels are insane. Insane. Now, here is the final thought. Go small on a hotel. Don't burn 2000 a day or 1500. You know what they're doing now? They give you one rate for a hotel, but they don't tell you about taxes, about resort fees, about parking fees. And by the time you all get it up, your rate is double. I always insist on breakfast. If I'm going to pay decent money for a hotel, I want breakfast. Sorry. You can negotiate a lot of stuff. Expedia is pretty good, but I don't book on the Internet. Okay.
