Yo (Love is a Rebellious Bird) is a documentary that honors the life of co-director Anna Fitch's friend, Yo. Through interviews captured in the final years of Yo's life, and a mini recreation of Yo's home, Anna is able to process her grief and celebrate their once in a lifetime friendship. Anna joins us to discuss how Yo taught her to accept herself, the beauty of expressing grief through art, and why Yo recommended recording the most intimate scene in the film.
