Apple's overall second quarter revenue beat analyst estimates as did earnings per share. In particular China sales topping expectations. IPhone revenue matched the average analyst estimates and this was a big headline. The company authorized up to $100 billion share buyback and boosted its dividend to 27 cents a share. Doing those big buyback buybacks is not unusual from these companies.
