Episode 7: My Life with ADHD – A New Perspective on Thriving with ADHDIn this episode, I share a personal journey through life with ADHD, diving into the challenges, realizations, and unique opportunities that come with this neurodivergent condition. I reflect on what ADHD truly means—not just as “Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder” but as an experience marked by an intense need for novelty, high engagement, and variety to thrive.I explore the ways ADHD can be both a struggle and a strength, discussing how our brains often require consistent doses of novelty, effort, and engagement to function at their best. While the inability to gain sustained dopamine from mundane tasks can create barriers, this very trait can also fuel entrepreneurial tendencies, hyperfocus, and endless creativity in environments that challenge and inspire us.I also address why mimicking neurotypical approaches to life can be problematic for those with ADHD, offering insights into how we can create systems and environments tailored to our needs. By reframing the symptoms—turning perceived weaknesses into tools for success—and aligning interests like sports, nutrition, and sleep to optimize our functioning, ADHD can become a pathway to unique opportunities.Through personal anecdotes and reflections, I share how to embrace ADHD as a part of life’s equation—combining structure, self-awareness, and the right opportunities to thrive. This episode is both a candid exploration of living with ADHD and an invitation to view it from a new perspective: not as a limitation, but as a unique lens through which we can organize our lives, discover our strengths, and unlock our potential.Recommended Sources:1. https://youtu.be/LZacXMQmSG8?si=OnWY7syWg7-wPZOj2. https://podcasts.apple.com/se/podcast/adhd-experts-podcast/id668174671?l=en-GB

My personlized process for learning and accumulating information from sources. How I use word as a tool for learning and collecting information as an integrated process. And why I use excel as a last piece in processing the information.OBS! What is important is to adapt the systems and methods to how you function and what makes you consistent. Even if the method seems effective, if your are not able to use it consistently then I would not say its effective. So remember find what works for you and improve on that as much as possible, and make changes if necassary.Click the link to watch part 1 - https://open.spotify.com/episode/7Bhd4R2iwn2sG0xhffqgY8?si=aiTBQdBnQsu3rRkBcrgPDA

To develop effective teamwork requires us to actually develop or learn effectively in social contexts. One method I've taken interest in is cooperative learning, this means learning by being fully engaged and cooperative with each other and it's a form of learning with social learning in educational science. And the aspect I will talk about is how this will develop teams and how it will make all teamwork much more efficient and improved over time. The concept “cooperative learning” (p.3)*1 Is that we use smaller groups for achieving a common task and and this gives each individual chance to develop their collaborative skills and communicated competence to achieve a common goal.

In this episode, we delve into why taking actionable steps is crucial for achieving our goals and how to effectively take action on what needs to be done. We discuss the importance of prioritization as the first step towards execution. Without clear priorities, uncertainty hinders our ability to act. By prioritizing, we decrease uncertainty and ensure that we focus on the tasks that truly matter. We explore the simple yet powerful reason behind the need to prioritize: to ensure we're doing the right things to achieve our desired outcomes. The act of choosing what to do before actually doing it is critical for our success. I share my personal process for prioritization, starting with the question, "How much of your life will move forward if you do this task?" From there, I write down relevant tasks, make them as actionable as possible, break them into smaller parts, and decide whether to tackle them on different days or the same day if feasible. Tune in to learn how to prioritize effectively and take actionable steps to drive your life forward!
