For years, we've heard how a trade involving Giannis Antetokounmpo was imminent. That day has finally arrived, and the talents of Giannis are going to South Beach. We'll discuss how the Heat emerged as the team to acquire the two-time NBA MVP from the Bucks. We'll also explore the NFL closing the door on Brendan Sorsby's supplemental draft option, and whether or not Serena Williams is having a tough time walking away from competitive tennis.

It's that time when championship parades get scheduled, and it's New York City and Raleigh, NC who gets to celebrate their teams winning the NBA and NHL titles, respectively. We'll break down how the Knicks and Hurricanes became champions for the first time in a while. We also discuss the twists and turns in the Brendan Sorsby saga, which leaves a lot of questions on how things were handled in the first place. Finally, we'll do a check in on MLB, with a third of the regular season in the books.

We always hear how winning at all costs is the prevailing mentality in sports, but when does it become too blatant for even the strongest stomachs to hold it together? We'll examine the case involving Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby, where a ruling granting him a year of eligibility might test those limits of said mentality. We also discuss the ball (no pun intended) of corruption known s FIFA, as the World Cup is set to begin in the U.S., Canada and Mexico this week. Action from the NBA and NHL Finals also make it into the show.

Here we are, ready for an eventful summer to take shape. Coming off of a break, we preview the NBA and NHL finals, as the time to crown a champion in those respective leagues gets closer. We also discuss how the arrival of Spurs star Victor Wembanyama made Thunder center Chet Holmgren disappear in the most crucial moment, and why the Rams acquiring defensive end Myles Garrett might have after effects in more ways than one.

With both the NBA and NHL playoffs down to their respective final fours, it's time to play "Run It Back or Break It Up," discussing what we think should happen with the teams who were sent packing in the conference semifinals. We'll also jump into the world of college sports, where talk of the Big Ten and SEC operating on their own is getting louder by the month.

Remember when betting was seen as a taboo topic? We're definitely far away from those days, and five minutes don't go by without seeing or hearing a betting advertisement. We discuss how we got to this point. Afterwards, we review the latest from the NBA and NHL playoffs, including the Lakers and 76ers getting swept (along with the Flyers in hockey). Finally, we’ll explain why the excuses are done for Caitlin Clark, and tackle how the NFL was able to avoid using replacement refs for the upcoming season.

Normally, there would be a layout of what's on the menu for our webcast. This isn't one of those occasions, and when that happens, the show is capable of going any direction (which isn't a bad thing...hahaha). Surely, the NBA and NHL playoffs, as well as the injury to Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal, will be discussed to some capacity. We don't even know what else is on the agenda 😂.

With the NBA and NHL playoffs in full swing, it seems fitting for us to give our early thoughts, as the action on the court and ice heats up during the show. Quietly (perhaps surprising so), the NFL Draft begins Thursday in Pittsburgh, and we really haven't discussed it much on this show. That will change this evening, and we'll also continue the conversation about numbers not always telling the whole truth.

After a regular season filled with talk about tanking and load management (as usual), it's finally time for the NBA playoffs to begin. We'll break down the matchups that are set, as the Play-In Tournament sorts itself out. The NHL playoffs are also around the corner, and we'll dive into that as well. Afterwards, we’ll give our thoughts on the situation involving Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and reporter Dianna Russini, and have a conversation about how much truth comes with pure numbers.

March Madness (going into April) is complete, and it's time to salute the Michigan men's and UCLA women's basketball teams for winning their respective titles. We also welcome UConn coach Geno Auriemma to the STFU Club, and look into the criteria that would qualify as an upset. Time permitting, we may revisit where the state of college sports is headed.
