Hey guys, lady luck here. Are you going on any road trips this summer? I know I'm going to be going on a bunch of road trips and being that I'm going to be passenger princess, I love playing on spinquest.com Spin Quest has all of my favorite slot games. Live blackjack, live craps. Head on over to Spin Quest right now and get yourself a $30 coin pack for just 10 bucks.
A
Spin Quest is a free to play social casino, Boyd. Where prohibited. Visit spinquest.com for more details. Oh yeah, Makoa.
B
We are just. We have never been more brand safe.
A
I just. I couldn't agree more. It's. It's truly remarkable our brand safety, the
B
levels of brand safety that we are reaching right now.
A
Yeah, it's. Dare I say maxing where we are brand safe. Maxing in the big 2 6. I can't believe it.
B
I was avoiding maxing like the plague and then. I don't know, were we on a trip or something?
A
Like it could have been Cabo.
B
No, it was that night in the theater or with Trevi.
A
What was the specific? Max, we were.
B
I think we were. We started with fat maxing. Like we were ordering everything under the sun. But then obviously, especially when Trevi and I are in a room together, like if there is a joke to beat, it is getting just be mutilated was the word I was looking for to a pulp.
A
Yes.
B
And now it has become a part of the regular vernacular. But I kind of like it. Obviously, I'm not like a clavicular.
A
I think it's. I think it's definitely like, if you can't beat them, join them. But I, I prefer the maxing way more than this. Like, the six sevens of the world. And like, those things, even if I used it in an ironic fashion, felt uncomfortable. Like there was something in the, like, my chest, my stomach. I would hear it out and I'm like, like, Maxine is like, oh, we've all just collectively turned the. Like, flip the coin on the youth. And we're like, oh, you want to use this?
B
Yeah.
A
No. Now the older not cool kids anymore are going to just bid it to all hell, so you have to go find something new.
B
And it definitely makes you understand how the older generation did that to you when you were a child for sure. But the six sevens, I think the reason why we can't get behind it is because there's just no meaning. There's just. And, like, you ask people to explain it to you, and it's like, Ohio Toilet.
A
Like, like, it does fall under that category. At least this one has some kind of baseline definition where the use it's applicable. Yes. It, it, it.
B
It adds something is not applicable to anything. And then it's also just annoying in the regard of, like, oh, I didn't realize how much in my life you just say like, oh, six, seven. Like, oh, I see. I can't even say it now. It makes me want to jump off a cliff. Whereas I kind of like maxing. I'm not going to lie. And today we are Bed of the Truck maxing. This is actually just a vehicular podcast. Like, it just Auto Zone the show. I feel like the amount of vehicle podcasts.
A
You're Nomad podcasting maxing.
B
We are Nomad podcast maxing for sure. And the Bed of the Truck podcast has been a vision since before Brand Safe was born. It was in the very early days. You, me, and Kyle were like, let's execute this. Especially because this is such a thing to do in Hawaii. It's a date to do in Hawaii.
A
Of course.
B
I wanted our episode to be like a little date between the two of us. So this was always the. The vision for what the episode was going to be. We went through a lot today to get to this location. We were originally in the blaring sun. And one thing about me is I cannot be hot maxing. I cannot be hot casting. I lose all ability to be conversational and funny if my temperature is too high. So we drove around a bunch, then we were like kind of fighting the rain and we finally landed on this beautiful spot.
A
Absolutely. Hawaii is definitely. You can weather report, surf report all you want. There's just something about just checking it for yourself. You got to do it. You can only like predict so much. It's just, it can turn on, on any second. Turn off any second. And I think we ended up, I mean, we like did it, but after all said and done, like, this is sensational.
B
Even the weather app said that right now, right here, there would be 20 mile per hour gusts of wind. And it, there's just. There's not even a breeze.
A
And it's tough because you can look up city name and it gives you maybe the, the wind speed at the coast and we're like a little bit up the mountain. So maybe there is something to be said about it not being accurate. But I don't know, My whole life is like, you wake up, you're like, oh, it's supposed to be pouring rain. Walk out, you're like, oh, my God, it's so sunny. You walk in like 20 minutes later, you're like, how is it raining?
B
You're also like, and I don't know the term for this, and I'm not even going to try a weather God, a forecast God. And I know you would disagree because you always do when you receive a compliment. But you can look at one cloud across the sky and know exactly what's happening for the rest of the day. You can look at the way the palm trees are blowing in one way and like know exactly what that means for like the next hour. Like, you can look at the island from afar and know where it's raining, where it's not. It's so impressive to me. Me and everyone, like turns to you for that.
A
I mean, there's some estimated guesses. I mean, you all. You're at the end of the day, it's.
B
No, but you're always right. You're forecast maxing.
A
I don't know about always right. That is great gas. I am forecast maxing. We have a guy here named Guy Hoggy who's like this stereo, like, not stereotypical.
B
I love Guy Hoggy.
A
His name is Guy, first name Guy, last name Hoggy. And he does like the surf report. He's like our like Adam Schefter. That's such a guy reference. I don't know who to who to. It's like person.
B
You're gonna say sandler I was excited.
A
No, it's like a person you look to news, I guess or whatever. So whenever let's say someone's like, oh, like Guy Hoggy said, like the swell's gonna be this and the wind's gonna be this. He's just like the. What am I?
B
Are we seeing this fruit fly farm above our head?
A
This is interesting.
B
And why are they congregating? Do you think it's my hair oil? Do you think it's my dry shampoo?
A
No, I think.
B
Are they everywhere?
A
You want to give me your A cig? Like genuinely. I think the smoke would. Would deter them and honestly like that thought just flame. You know, if you. I mean could be the opposite. Yeah, let's just.
B
Let's just smoke a cig on the brand safe podcast. And I don't know if this is brand safe to say, but I actually am trying to move to cigarettes and I'm not pushing that onto the youth at all. If you smoke nothing and you're addicted to nothing, keep it that way. But I have to stop smoking a Nintendo DS everywhere I go. A pink peach ice. Like I almost think going analogy would be good for me because then I at least have to be outdoors. There's no more bed vape.
A
I'm like saging the place. That was merely for scientific purposes. Mom, Dad, I do not be doing this.
B
I wanted a hit of a Newport and I don't have a mom or a dad.
A
Hide this from this Tesla pulling up right now. Big Karen vibes.
B
Tesla's are such Karen vibes.
A
I saw back to back cybertrucks on my Uber on the way to LAX to come here and I've never just seen them. Like I had to take a photo. I was like. Is like I don't know. You'll see them like spurts like sparsed about but something about about them just back to back and seeing them here. 5 South traffic is seeing them here
B
disheartens me in a way that I can't even explain to you because it's like you imported that here. You literally took the time to think I should ship this metal death maga box to an island. And then. And the function like all of the good things like they're bulletproof. Like no one's like it doesn't matter here. You can't fit anything that you would need on the island. Who are you flexing on chickens and roosters? It makes me utterly. There's actually there's one cyber truck on our side of the island and it's One guy, and every time I see him, I literally at some point in living here, I'm going to have a conversation with this guy. Like, I just want to know, like, what's up?
A
What's the theory? Yeah, I, I one time was driving here and I don't know exactly the scenario, but cyber truck driver made very douchebag move on road. And I don't usually get like, not even like road rage, but I, it was like to the point where I was hysterically laughing at him and pointing through my window, just being like, haha, you are such an idiot. The fact that you are trying to like, there was just like a bunch of cars, I think, and he was trying to like weave his way. I'm like, this isn't L. A where you have six lanes and you can, you know what I'm saying? One road. Like I don't know where you're going or where you're planning on going, but it was just the action fit the car. Like it was just so perfect. And I was just sitting there, pointing, laughing, like almost like an insane person. Like I was like Joaquin Phoenix's joker, like laughing in a mirror, just being like, haha, you are so like, pathetic.
B
Because that's the thing too. You can't drive a cyber truck and then also drive like a. Yeah, it
A
reinforces that, that, that stereotype already. It's like, oh, I already had a preconceived notion, now you're just 100% fitting
B
the mold, drilling at home. Like, if anything, if I drove a cyber truck, I would just have my window down, apologizing to people. I think I would have a sticker on the back that says, like, please don't assume my views.
A
I had to do this because of.
B
Yeah, yeah, I'm doing.
A
This was a gift. This was gifted for tax purposes, like just anything. But I consciously spent money on this.
B
It's funny. Trevi's best friend, he's from Europe. Zach.
A
Oh, of course, yes.
B
He got one there and then brought it here to la and he didn't know all of the, like, social status around it and people like, especially in LA because of all the hate for like Elon Musk and all of those things. People like, really, like, if you Drive1 in LA, treat you like crazy about it and stuff. Sorry, I can't talk when there's a bug that. No, you're fine when there's a horse, when there's a T. Rex on the bill of your hat. And he didn't know all of that and he's just so funny. He's always walking around being like, I have a cyber truck, but in a European way, in a liberal way. I promise. It's so funny. But we are not here to talk about cybertrucks today. I actually have a little bit of a topic and a thing I want to do with you, and I've always wanted to do this with you, and I think it's gonna be a lot of fun. I was inspired by those GQ couple quiz videos.
A
Okay?
B
I even. I remember where I was when Kylie and Travis's dropped. Okay? It was everything to me. As much as it was funny that he didn't know the names of her dogs, it was more concerning to me that I did. The flies are back.
A
They are indeed.
B
Do you think we stink?
A
No. If anything, maybe they were in a sunny spot and now we're in the shade. I mean, like, you've been sweating, maxing sweat maxing all day, so. Oh, good God.
B
There is no better version of dopamine maxing for me than going to see live music. Like, I need a night out with some live music asap. Okay? Especially my sober self. All right? That is where I'm my happiest. At a concert, fully entertained, maybe playing a little subway surfer on my phone while someone sings. Which is why I want to give the sponsor of today's episode, SeatGeek, a huge shout out. With over 35 million downloads, SeatGeek is the number one rated ticketing app, and they literally have more than 70,000 events listed, from concerts to sports to festivals and everything in between. There are so many artists on tour right now. Like, I've been seeing Noah Khan everywhere, Rufus the Soul, Ariana Grande. Literally everyone is touring right now, and it's making me want to impulsively buy some concert tickets at 2 in the morning. And honestly, I love using SeatGeek because it makes finding tickets so easy. Easy. I'm always checking prices and trying to make sure I'm not completely getting scammed. And SeatGeek actually rates every ticket on a scale of 1 to 10. So, you know, if you're getting a good deal, the green dots are good deals, red dots are bad deals, which honestly makes a bimbo like me live a much easier life. Plus, every ticket is backed by their buyer guarantee. So if you want to go to a concert, a comedy show, literally any live events, use code BRANDSAFE10 for 10 off your SeatGeek tickets. That's 10 off with promo code BRANDSAFE10. Make sure you click the link in the description to download the app and have the code automatically added to your account so you can use it later. Thank you, seatgeek, for sponsoring today's episode. Okay, we're back after fruit fly gate number two.
A
Question. Gq. You knew Kylie's dogs. Travis didn't. Now we're here for me to not know Buster Brown.
B
Imagine you just didn't know Buster's name. I can't believe his name was ever blooper before us. Like, what a funny. Like, almost coincidence in the regard of, like, our job path. He's just not a blooper.
A
Not at all.
B
And blooper almost insinuates mistake, and I'm like, who did that to my son?
A
No, he is, Maura.
B
He's not a mistake.
A
I'm really missing second coming of.
B
Buster Brown is the second coming of christ. I stand 10 toes down on that. He's the best thing to ever happen to us. I miss him. This is our last time in Hawaii without him, and I'm really excited to just see him hit a. To be dig maxing on the beach.
A
I think he's gonna thrive in the warm weather. I feel like just him being always cold. Skinny little Chihuahua. Yeah. Like, more LA morning. 55 degrees. Poor guy's just.
B
And then he has to wear his poncho.
A
Oh, I know.
B
And then he pees on his poncho, and it's.
A
And then it's a whole thing.
B
I miss him deeply. And it's so funny because, like, yesterday I saw a gecko, and I looked at that gecko, and I was like, that gecko is so Buster Brown. And Amari just turns to me, and he's like, what are you saying? And I'm like, every cute thing I see, like, every. Everything. I just. I yearn for my son. He's with Auntie Ashley right now, and they're catching a vibe. And he loves Winnie, and he loves.
A
Yeah, he's been. He's been a lot better with. Coexisting with. With other animals. And it's really. It's really cut. Cute to see him come out of a shell. Yeah, kind of. I mean, when we be a real
B
dog, I feel like when we got him, too, he was, like, quite literally afraid of toys.
A
Yeah. He just didn't have any interest. Yeah. I think it was just the un. Familiarity. I think it was just being in a new environment. I'm sure it just takes, you know, some adjusting period, some growing pains, but I think he's thriving now, and he's
B
so much more confident now. Other than his like actual debilitating fear of Uncle Kyle that we haven't figured out. He is on a good path.
A
I think, I think he's going to come around. I think we just need to bring Delilah back and get more sessions. Yes. And I think you'll be fine.
B
But I say that we hop into these questions. Is there a part of you that like, when I want to play games like this, are you like, oh my God, this could start a fight or something that she says forever, for the rest of her life.
A
I'd be lying if I said no because it's. There's always a chance, you know, there's always a chance. You're definitely walking on, on a, on a land. Land mine. Landfield.
B
Yeah.
A
And it could not be that significant or it could be like significant depending on these questions. Like if I may or may not know.
B
I actually think you're going to be so amazing at this because I think that you, you are so incredibly attentive to the things that I say, especially the little things that I say which I have always loved about you. Like, I don't know how to explain it. Like even just like last night I'm putting on my moisturizer and you were like road barrier butter. And I was like, this poor man does not deserve to know that his terabyte of space, day or night, Verbo

Hey everybody, lady luck here. And we're celebrating America's 250th birthday. Now all summer long I'm going to be celebrating by playing on spinquest.com which is an American owned social casino. It obviously features over a thousand slot games and live blackjack, live craps, live bubble craps. Head on over to spinquest.com get yourself a 30 coin pack for just 10 bucks.
A
Spin Quest is a free to play social casino, Boyd. Where prohibited. Visit spinquest.com for more details.
B
This deserves any other knowledge actually. You just like listen to the smallest things that I say and really hold on to. I honestly, if I had to predict, I think I'm going to be worse at this than you are.
A
We'll see. We'll see. I don't know if it's the tis or the what? But I. I do feel like I am constantly in taking information whether I want to or not, and it just kind of gets, like, stored in a back drawer in my brain. And sometimes I remember and sometimes I don't, you know, and we'll. We'll see.
B
I think you have a very attentive, loving style. I think that your. The way that you love is always making sure I'm okay and making sure, like, just whatever I need. You want to, like, provide that for me. I think I'm very like words of affirmation. You're very like, acts of service. Like, that's kind of how we both show our love. So that comes with, like, you remembering all of these little things that you do. And it's like the greatest, sweetest thing about you. And I love it.
A
I love you. That's very sweet.
B
Okay, shall we? Shall we hop in?
A
Yes. Is it like that?
B
What a beautiful moment. Before I beat you off in front of this View.
A
Are we starting easy? Is it like a level one?
B
I think it'll be fun, honestly, to just allow our viewers to keep track and let us know in the comments who, like, quote, unquote, 1. Because I'm not playing this to win of, like, who got it or who didn't get it.
A
I just think there's no game show host.
B
There's no, like, Alex Trebek is not here. Fly High. It's not here with us anymore. I almost just think that across, you know, almost three years now, you and I have been together. You gather a lot of lore, and it's almost fun what these prompts will incite us or spark us to think about. And that's kind of why I want to do it today. Not to literally keep score.
A
I love that.
B
Okay, let's start with what's my comfort movie?
A
Okay. Okay. Comfort movie, obviously, Sandler related is kind of where my brain immediately goes to. Also a good. Just general, like, usually comedy usually feel good. You know, I feel like if your comfort movie is like a final destination or like the ring, like, I just.
B
I don't know.
A
I don't know.
B
You don't relate to that.
A
It's like the listen to heavy metal for meditation kind of. He's just like, like, I don't know. It doesn't. Doesn't. Doesn't check out in my book. It's tough one's. Like the. I don't feel like we. We really, like, dive into, like, movies a lot. We've been doing a lot of shows recently, so I'M kind of digging into the, the archives.
B
We've always done a lot of shows.
A
Yeah, I'm gonna say like a Happy Gilmore or a parents log cabin vacation. What am I thinking? No, no Adam Sandler movie. But they all go to like, like summer camp.
B
Grown ups.
A
Grown ups. Yeah. Something, something along those lines in my head that's like kind of where, where I'm, I'm leaning towards.
B
It's funny because I didn't even realize that a lot of this could also be you putting me on to my correct answer. Like in the regard that I have a completely different answer.
A
But I mean, yours could be like, what is it with the, the girls, Gossip Girl or something like that. Like, I feel like it could be something like that. But you also, because it's so. I don't want to say like more girl centric, but maybe you would.
B
Wait, what are you thinking of? Are you thinking of like sex in the city or are you thinking of Gone Girl?
A
Oh, gone, Gone Girl. Is it not Gossip Gone Girl? I just something that, like, maybe your comfort pick isn't something that you would necessarily watch with me. Maybe it's like you and the girls having like a little slumber party vibe and like, I'm not even there. So, like, how would I know? You know what I mean? Kind of thing. And my answer is so skewed, just based on obviously, like, what we would watch.
B
Okay. Gossip Girl and Gone Girl are two different things, by the way. And it's so funny, actually, because they're completely polar things.
A
Okay.
B
And I, I. It would be an entire podcast, really, for me to explain the differences to you.
A
Noted. Super noted. And I feel like I knew that
B
I could see how you could confuse the two names. Gossip Girl, long form series, New York preppy rich kids, Gone Girl, psychological thriller. It is my favorite movie. And I think that it's interesting because I was going to lean towards Gone Girl being my answer because it's my favorite movie. But I think you're right. If we're going to go comfort movie, I am going to go Happy Gilmore.
A
Wow. Okay.
B
Well. But I don't know because Gone Girl is still up there. My, my favorite movie might be my comfort movie.
A
That's why I was thinking more like feel good family, you know, like whatever vibe.
B
But I find comfort in turmoil for sure.
A
That's what another thing is. Like, I. Some people may like the heart racing, whatever, as. As their comfort pick. I kind of just, I feel like the word comfort kind of.
B
I also entails Gone Girl brings me so much comfort because it's just the most well executed story of an awful man. A woman getting her lick back on an. Aw, man.
A
She's a little psychological thriller. I. I didn't. I missed that. I guess maybe it's because I was confusing it with preppy teen teenage show.
B
Yeah, no, not at all.
A
Got you. Got you.
B
And it's funny because the first time I ever showed you Gone Girl and I was like, this is my favorite movie. I will just never forget the way you turn to me after and look on your face like, I don't know how to explain that. It's jarring. If you date a girl and she says that's her favorite movie, you're like, are you going to do that to me?
A
Okay, yeah.
B
For you, I'm gonna say the one with Leonardo DiCaprio and he does all the things and like the coin flips and the. In non. Inception. Inception. I'm gonna say Inception is your comfort movie. Or there's one that's like, it's not Brokeback Mountain, but it's like, it's like it has a bunch of words like that. Or Lords of Dog Town. Is that the.
A
See, again with the maybe you just pulled answer out of me that I wasn't even previously considering. Again with the Inception thing could be masked as favorite movie, but also comfort pick because I like it so much. But again, psychological thriller, like, sometimes you don't need all that, that brain power when you're just trying to like turn off at the end of the night.
B
But I think there's comfort in watching a movie like that when you already know the ending. Like, it really only requires brain power.
A
I think there's so many shows and movies that only get better as you watch them and people are like, oh, I already like, know what happens. It's like, yeah, that's the point. And you're actually just analyzing the in between parts that you forgot and how they tie into each other and like how much more significant these like scenes you previously knew actually are. If it's a good director with good writing. Whatever, whatever. One of our friends like rewatched Game of Thrones Thrones and he was just like, dude, the third time through is like so much more insane than you realize. And I believe it. How are you gonna digest 60 hours of, you know, like, it's just. It's truly impossible. It's like reading a good book again, you know?
B
Are you so excited to watch Grey's Anatomy again once we're done? I actually do really want to re watch BoJack Horseman.
A
That one I could. Yeah, that one I could. I could get behind. I love that Lords of Dogtown shout. I wasn't even considering it And I'm like, that's 100 the answer.
B
True.
A
Yay. That's like, that has to be it. Wow, look at you. Good job. That was awesome. That really is. I haven't watched it in a minute too. I should. Goodness gracious, let's watch it tonight. If you haven't watched Lords of Dog Town, this is just like a very niche like tidbit, but it came out with the PlayStation Portable, the PSP as a kid as like one of the. I don't know if it was like the Costco bundle or what, but it just like came as a inclusive thing with when I got my psp. So as a kid, when you're like traveling or like in the back of a car going to school, I had like a long commute. Like, I would just pop that thing in and I don't know, I just. It hasn't a lot of nostalgia attached to it too. Amongst being a great story, a great coming of age, you know?
B
That's so funny. We all have that, like one DVD that you would like, have as a kid for like, whatever. Mine was the movie Prom Night, ironically starring Britney Snow. I think it's what made me love psychological thrillers.
A
Honorable mentioned Talladega Nights. Oh, when you just said that, like, DVD in a house. I can picture it like on my shelf, like, yes. Oh my God, I'm watching it for the 25th time.
B
But that was also one of the first movies you and I actually ever watched together. Like in bed in la when we very first. We weren't even dating yet. And we watched that and I remember you like telling your boys that you were like making me watch this movie with you, and I was like, oh, he so wants to date. This is awesome. I'm genuinely curious to hear this one from your perspective. What instantly annoys me?
A
I mean, where do I start? I'm just kidding. Initially, first thing that came to my bread, my bread, my brain off top, just general incompetence. That's like, I don't know. And I don't know. I don't really have a more elaborate answer, but that was just like what came to my. My head. I feel like you can tolerate a lot of things and you've just seen it all, done it all. So nothing instantly annoys you. You know, sometimes it takes some time, some stacking of of things. It's not the first offense. It's like the third offense. You know what I mean? Right? Like. Like vape not charged. Phone not charged. Like I mean like I don't, I don't know what else would like really, really like trigger you to oblivion. Temperature. Like uncomfort uncomfortableness, I guess.
B
Maybe a hot room instantly.
A
Yeah, maybe like pee break very far from bathroom. Like which I totally understand. Like I could just walk over there. You know what I mean? I get it. It's like that's like a. A real concern, I think the, the
B
phone, the vape, the bathroom. Like not. I would, I would go with the incompetence. I get what you're saying. You and I were actually having a long conversation about this lately and I was talking about as I'm hiring people. Kyle, cover your ears because you're fine. So many of the people that I have been interested in hiring recently have been within their work using the wrong there and the wrong your. And I'm sitting here and I'm like, how are you 27? And you made it this far. And you have a LinkedIn. You have everything. We've got to go back to the basics. Like you're hired, it's fine. But I want to talk to you about why your without an e is possessive and why the apostrophe and the re is just simply you are. And then you can apply it to every side. And why don't we know that that's almost a bad example too of general incompetence. You are. I think that a lot of my actual annoyance in my day to day is like has to do with things like that work wise where I'm just like, how could we get. Because obviously when you're hiring as well, you're hiring to delegate a task to someone else.
A
Of course you want proficiency through and through.
B
Yes. And like it is very frustrating as sometimes the employer when you are having to shadow over someone and almost just do their job while holding their hand because it's like, wait, I'm paying you money. And then I'm kind of just doing it myself and I could just be doing it anyway. And a lot of times, times, sometimes those mistakes are just like general incompetence. And I can get a little frustrated with that. I try to be patient with people always. People make mistakes. That's not what I'm saying.
A
Of course. No, that's what I'm saying. You are very like tolerable for things. It's not like a, like a first offense thing. I think it's just like I don't know, I don't feel like you get annoyed. Like I feel like I know you well enough where even if you are very outspoken about something and are maybe like playing into like and dramaticizing like something like you deep down aren't that annoyed and are frustrated. So I feel like those little things I don't consider and I think sometimes
B
it's so important and I try to do that. I really do this with you. Like I think that let's say I'm having a frustration at work or let's say I'm having a frustration with someone else. It's nice to have your partner to be like how can this person be such a.
A
And then you want to like road rage about situation even though it's not that deep. You just like go and get off
B
your chest so that then when you go to the person you could be like let's have a discussion about how we can be better in the future, all of us included and like just be so level headed. It's nice to have your partner to kind of like off steam sometimes. You know what instantly annoys you? You know what I'm going to say instantly annoys you, which I love is disrespect. Like I think that when you see someone like treat someone with disrespect when you see someone be unkind to someone. Even on the road, if you see someone do the like douchebag thing that is not for the greater good of kindness and patience and all of those things to all and to society at all times. And I think the only time I see you instantly annoy is enraged really is when you see someone else being just an absolute, absolute imbecile. Yeah. And you've. You make me so hyper aware of that as well. Just even little things sometimes I think before I met you that I wouldn't think about like oh this could be, this could affect someone else and be rude. Even just where you're standing in like an airport or just like little things like that. You are hyper aware of those type of things.
A
It's a disease. It's truly. It plagues me.
B
But that's why you're the best person I've ever met and you make me much more aware of that and which therefore makes me a much better person person. But that is the only time that I see you like instantly annoyed is when you're like this guy. This guy stinks.
A
It's a good answer. Honestly. I didn't know. I didn't really. I wasn't really coming up with my own answer in my head during this, but that is a really good one. Even if, I don't know, someone just like, throws trash when, like, garbage cans right there or like, misses and then knows that he miss, miss, like missed the trash can and like, doesn't. Yeah, just like, little things.
B
I'm just like, that one's a big one.
A
That one really dog are you doing? I love throwing a bottle from 20ft away and seeing if I hit the trash can. But if I miss, like, I am humbly walking with my head down over to it to like, pick it up off the ground with negative aura and like, putting in the trash can. Like, you have to eat that if you're going to do the thing and potentially get the like, oh my God, I just sank that shot moment. Like, you also have to, you know,
B
whatever, whatever it may be, who puts it away.
A
I like that answer. That's. That's good. I think we all can just operate with a little more, like, respect for each other. Yeah, like, just respect for each other. Respect for. Or just like general, general understanding of the, the people around you, you know that like, they're also there.
B
Especially in la, people really do operate in their own little bubbles. And it's very funny seeing you kind of maneuver around LA and you are very much the person. Whether you're in the car, you're talking to me and you're like, is this person just in their own world?
A
Like, the answer is yes, but I also get that too. It's like a numbers game too. I don't know how to really draw an equivalent. Maybe it's almost like a going to like a smaller university versus like just giant school where it's like you're just a number in like a giant auditorium, classroom, whatever, and like nobody, like, really, I don't know, like, and you're just trying to, like, get by and fend for yourself and. Yeah, and like, I totally get that there's so many.
B
But I see when I come here to Maui, I like, see why you are the way you are because everyone here operates with that, with care for one another. And I'm from the west coast through and through, like two major cities where it is kind of an every man for himself type of world. And that is one thing that I, like, love about you and also being here. And I see why you are the way you are because there's such an. A collective operation of caring about everyone around you and one another, whether you're strangers or not. I feel like people in Hawaiian. Correct me if I'm wrong, but just operate with the, like, no one is strangers. Everyone is family. We're all on this island. And like, let's treat each other as such.
A
Yeah. It's just a big, big community. Big family, you know, you just.
B
A great word.
A
Gotta. I never really had pass it forward.
B
Any communities I had were like, with a common goal of trapping or something, you know.
A
Great question. Whoever submitted the. That.
B
What is my most used phrase? Just that.
A
Yeah. Ooh, wow. There's a lot. There's a lot.
B
What comes to mind immediately.
A
Where's my vape?
B
Oh, that sucks.
A
God. This is a conversation for a whole another time. But I wish more than anything, like, if a genie came up to me and could grant me three wishes, I would love a. A long list of life stats.
B
Yes.
A
Like, detailed.
B
Me too.
A
I can control F and like, search up anything. Like, I would love to know what word I say the most in a day. I would love to know, like, how many bottles of water I've drank and how many. Like, you know what I mean? Like, it would just be cool. So I would like to actually know, like, what phrase you say the most truly, like, in. In your day to day. Honestly, it's just like, I love you, Smoochie. I feel like you say that all the time. I know. It's so sweet. I feel like I hear it. I love you. I feel like I hear like a pooch. Like a. I don't know, just like something very sweet. It's got. It's got to have that, like, I. I definitely hear that like 30 plus times a day. When you were saying the words of affirmations earlier, like, you definitely. Yeah. You just are always saying something sweet, you know, So I. I gotta. That trumps like any other, like, phrasing or wording you say, like truly.
B
It's so funny.
A
Even if it's like Titan, like, you know what I mean? Like, it's whatever. Like, it's still.
B
We should talk about all of our nicknames in there, the way they've evolved. But it's so funny to me because if I really had to think about the phrase I say the most, it would be that I'm killing myself
A
in good fun, in good jest, you know? Oh, my God. I definitely rings a bell for sure.
B
What you say the most. What immediately comes to my mind is literally the word fire.
A
Keep it simple, keep it pushing.
B
Fire. That's fire. Like soul fire. That be fire. Fire. Like, I feel like you that. That might Be your actual lifestyle word that's used the most.
A
That sucks. I've read way too many books and gone to way too many classes and educated myself way too far to like, I know, but fire is just. This is. I was honestly going to bring it up with the whole maxing thing, but there is something to be said about just language being dumbed down. And maybe I could. Could elaborate further on things, but there are just some moments where it's just like, I'm just going to say the word fire and we're going to keep it pushing. Like, I don't need to really, like, do my biggest. And my friends, I feel, like, used to always give me a hard time of really digging in my. My bag of vocab for no reason, really. But it was truly just the words that were coming to my head. And I think I've just maybe subconsciously, like, dumbed myself down over the years of just subjecting it to being like, fire, bro. Yeah, that's tight. Sick. You know, like, it's whatever. Well, conversation for first.
B
I was gonna say Amari, and I actually just had this conversation. I. I kind of. I agree with you. Where I had that paparazzi moment where I said, like, I was locked in this morning, and I was really asking him, like, what else would I have said? And he said, you could have been. Like, I was heavily invested this morning.
A
Right.
B
Sometimes I think you do just resort to the, like, natural, quick thing, and that's okay. But I also agree with what you said. You and I are very similar in this way. We have very vast vocabularies, and we are pulling from that bag a lot and kind of always firing, but that comes with a couple misses. And I've made this a recent goal of mine that, like, if I'm. And I'll probably literally go back on this in this podcast episode, but it makes me sick. And it is a new major goal of mine that, like, if you don't 100% know that you are using the word correctly, do not use the word. Like, even. I just watched a podcast clip, actually, of me talking about you, and I was saying, he loves me so intrinsically. And then while I was in the bathroom right before this, I was literally looking up the meaning of intrinsically. And in reality, it would be better to have said, like, he is intrinsically a loving person. Like, it's. It's not. It wasn't fully correct, and I was like, stupid, stupid, stupid. Like, I just want to make sure sometimes fire is better than using the big word.
A
Incorrectly, I, I will agree with that. Trying to think if I had a. I don't have anything else really deep in my. In my use all the time bag. That is a. That is like my auto response. I think that's, that's what I've settled on.
B
What would I spend my last $100 on? You guys know I love my pet more than anything. And honestly, I recently learned some genuinely horrifying things about the cat food industry. I don't personally have a cat, but so many people I love do and so many of you guys do. And once I started reading about what's actually in a lot of traditional cat foods, I was shook. Apparently, some cat foods are filled with cheap fillers, preservatives, and so many carbs that they're basically the equivalent of feeding your cat junk food. Who wants their cat junk maxing every day? Which is actually insane considering how much we all love our pets. Which is why I'm really excited about today's sponsor, Smalls. Smalls makes fresh human grade cat food with real protein and ingredients you'd actually recognize. Like it's made with the same quality ingredients you'd find in your own fridge, but formulated specifically for cats so they can actually thrive. I was reading reviews from people who switch their their cats to Smalls, and the difference is actually crazy. One person said their older cat started acting like a kitten again after a couple months on Smalls. Another said their cat had more energy, a shinier coat, better digestion, and even less stinky litter box situations, which honestly felt life changing. Apparently because Smalls is high protein and gently cooked without all the weird fillers and preservatives, cats digest it way better so they end up with better hydration, more energy, softer coats, less shedding, fewer hair, hairballs. Literally all of the things you want for your pet. And honestly, if we care this much about what we put into our own bodies, our pets deserve the same energy. A
Does it have to be one item?
B
Please don't say the beach, babe. Like please.
A
I mean, I'd be lying if it Wasn't the first one of the first things that popped in my head.
B
You're actually right. If the world's ending and it's my last $100, like, I'm getting a couple geek bars. But beside that, what comes to your mind? No, it.
A
It doesn't have to be one last $100. Is world ending or world is continuing. It's. It's just your last hundred in your, like, in your. To your name.
B
I don't know how to answer that. I guess what I would say is like, answer it unseriously.
A
A bottle of love.
B
Oh. If the world's ending.
A
Oh.
B
Oh, my God. I've always said this. Trevi and I joke about this, but I'm actually. I am not joking. If for a fact, like a meteor was hitting the world Tomorrow, I'm spending 12 of the hours with you really reflecting on our lives and our love together. Dead sober and like just, you know, really, really emotionally there and present. But then the last 12 hours of that 24, I would be. And I just. I would.

car insurance with Liberty Mutual.
B
Even if it means sitting front row at a comedy show. Hey, everyone. Check out this guy and his bird. What is this, your first date?
A
Oh, no.
B
We help people customize and save on car insurance with Liberty Mutual together. We're married.
A
Me to a human, him to a bird.
B
Yeah, the bird looks out of your league.
A
Anyways, get a quote@libertymutual.com or with your local agent.
B
Liberty, Liberty, Liberty, Liberty. Be so blatantly lying. And it wouldn't be a bottle of Vuv. It would be as many bottles of Starborough as money could buy. Like as much. Honestly, the cheapest alcohol. Like as much as.
A
Quantity over quality.
B
Quantity over quality.
A
Because world is ending.
B
World Meteor. I mean, I can see the meteor. I know. There's no chance, right? I'm getting blacked out. There's no quiet. Let's have fun. Let's whatever I don't have to worry about the addiction snowballing tomorrow. There is no tomorrow.
A
Right.
B
Like, it's a little easier on the blow of everything happening. You know that. Yeah. No. Let's pretend the world isn't ending. What would I spend my last $100 on? 1. Correct answer.
A
10 x tart 2. Like, part of me thought of some type of, like, makeup or lip gloss or like a hairbrush or like a hair product or something that make you just feel inclusive. Incredible that a hundred dollars could get you, like, feeling stunning and gorgeous and amazing. I don't think it's like a Dr. Pepper, like Cheetos or like, even though that would be in the list of things if we continued, if it was a top 10. You know what I'm saying? But the top two, not two.
B
I'll give you a hint that it is not a physical item. Some could argue that it is, but
A
like a Spotify subscription.
B
No, that's you.
A
That's true. YouTube Premium is probably on my list of my last hundred bucks.
B
If it's my last $100 and it's
A
not a physical item, well, I get a plane ticket somewhere.
B
Getting closer. I have $100 cash left.
A
Yeah.
B
What am I doing with it?
A
Oh, on green.
B
Thank you. I almost feel like you had to envision the bill to understand. I'm going into Vegas and I'm going to the green zero on the roulette table. And that is where I'm putting my $100.
A
100%.
B
Because there is a 1 in 35 chance that my last 100 do is now $3,600, and I have the dopamine hit of a century. Or I went out doing what I love.
A
Absolutely. There. And there was no other answer. And the fact that it honestly took me that long, I was. I was thinking a little too. Aside from the vuv, like a little too wholesome and like, thing. But, like, yeah, you don't need that. Like, you want.
B
It's my last 100.
A
Right. You're going. You're going bigger. You're going home. And I respect that more than anything. And honestly, that is in the list of things that you could get with, like, a hundred dollars left. Like, that's all time, like, you aside is. Is up there.
B
And some people could argue that $100 on red or black and like, you
A
know, work your way up. Yeah, for sure.
B
And maybe that is the answer. If it was actually my last $100, maybe red or black, then I'd have 200. Then I put 100 on a lower third.
A
But you could easily just lose it right there. And then you're just like, damn, I wish. Imagine you'll red or black hit zero, you split, you get 50 back. You're like, no, I'm not the high limit. I can't even like meet the men.
B
Yeah.
A
Disgusting.
B
He's really walking through what my where my head would be at your last $100 dollars. A part of me, if we're going really practical, is gas to get to the wave. Like is gas in the car to get to the wave that you want to get to. Other than that, I almost think that like where you were going for my answer is where I would go for your answer. Because factually, the God honest truth is that you are one billion times more of a practical individual than me. If we both had a hundred dollars left, I am taking it to Vegas and seeing if I can make it shake. And I understand that there's risk there. You. You might want to see. See how many items you can get for $100. And maybe that's like something that you wanted to maybe smoke and then maybe that's like a couple gas station snacks that you really love.
A
A white sobe. Little pina colada, something like that.
B
Uhhuh. A white sobe. A little like a gummy candy that you love. A trolley, stupid trolley. Or a noms. Like I honestly think that you would if let's say the world was ending in this scenario, you die with 25 left just in case. Like, and then I'd ask you for 12 to go re gamble like 1250
A
because I had one half that is honestly the funniest. Like if you tell me if I'm using this wrong. Speaking of using things wrong. But like, like clocked me like, like, holy. I was just having this conversation. I don't know if it was my mom or with who, but I am so awful at like, like a goddamn video game. And I'm holding on to items for like that one fateful moment where I can finally, finally like use this thing. You know what I mean? I'm like, I'm holding on to this for this person, for this like, hypothetical far off like, situation that I'm like, no, like I want to keep this, like, just in case. You know what I mean? And it's. I don't know what is like, if the world could end tomorrow, like, what are we waiting for? Like, I'll be holding on to whatever it is. I just. That is really funny. Like I maybe might die with meteor Flying to earth with change in pocket, potentially, just in case. That is so funny. As much as I don't like that answer for myself, I, I also part of me kind of, kind of like maybe that warms my heart a little
B
and like maybe that is a great thing. And I think that we meet each other in the middle very well. I almost always use a candle for this analogy. Like you're the type to only burn the nice candle on special occasions. And I'm the type to be like, why are we letting this nice candle sit around, burn it right now on Tuesday. And in reality there's kind of a medium there. That's the truth. Because life is short and you should use the nice things. And I, I have a whole tangent on that about how like wear the thing that you would normally wear on your birthday on the Tuesday to feel like it's your birthday. Romanticized life. But you also have a practicality standpoint point of like saving things for later and just responsibly using things and not being like wasteful and like the, the special moment of special things and like garnering that. And the, the real reality is probably the middle of, between the both of us. And I think that's why we work well.
A
I agree, I agree. There's also, it's when I like would get upset about my, at myself for like something like that. It's not even the I, the general idea, it's, it's the consistency of where I use it. You know what I mean? It's like, like you're saying, saying it's like burn the candle. Like it's really not, it's, it's really not that big of a deal. You can just go to the store and buy another one. But it's like why are we, why are we like holding on to this? And like, you know what I mean? It's like, it's where I apply that principle I guess is what I'm saying. It can be very inconsistent and very silly at times.
B
I also think that your dad is that way though, and it's very cute.
A
He's a big keepsaker and I, as much as it's a double edged sword, he still has VHS tapes of like videos of me when I was a baby that God knows where they are in some storage thing, you know what I'm saying? Or like I was just talking to him about this. Like as a kid he would record like super cross races on like things to like keep and he probably has them somewhere like Lord knows where. But that is just like who he is. Old photos, random photos, they're not even good photos. But it doesn't matter. Having it, the physical copy, the physical memory being like looking back, who cares if there's a smudge of like a fingerprint in it? You know what I mean? It's just like it's the first time
B
I ever went to your dad's house. I was hammered. Hammered. Cuz we had just gotten hana was
A
like after a hana adventure.
B
I almost think that we had come from the airport. So like the airplane and all of the things I don't remember, I really. Nicole, I was blacked out. I have no idea. I just woke up at your dad's house and this is when I was still smoking those blue vapes and I left it there.
A
Oh yeah.
B
And then eight months time goes by and I, and I know your dad like just, just even before I actually knew this about him. I know just by you could know the man for five minutes and know he is anti vaping. Okay, he is the like the healthy analog. He's the analog, he's healthy, he's natural, he's all the things. Like even last time I was seeing him, he was just telling me like, oh, if your stomach hurts, like eat a papaya, like make sure you do this. And I'm like, you're right, a papaya would help more than Red Bull. Thank you. But he. Six months had gone by and I get back to his house and he had the blue vape that I'd left there. And it's dead, by the way. Like he could have just thrown it away. I know he's anti it, but like he had kept it for me in case I like ever wanted it while I was there. And like I just. It's very sweet. Okay, what is a must have on my nightstand?
A
This is, this is a cake walk
B
because he stalked the nightstand for me.
A
Just a basic top five. You know, let's. Let's not get too into it.
B
Give us a speed round.
A
It's. It's a let me chill, it's a let me sleep. It's magnesium, it's L Theanine, it's arrowhead water and potentially Advil. Maybe a Zofran. I know this is more than five. I can count. But as I'm going along it's.
B
And you're literally forgetting Xanax and magnesium.
A
Did I not say magnesium?
B
You might have, I don't know.
A
I. I assume the Xanax has already been taken, but yes, it would be nice to have it on the Nightstand. Just in case. Yeah, you're pretty simple. That's, like, pretty much the gist of it. Maybe like one of those little mini crunch bars in the individual wrappers, you know, just in case you're like just
B
a pharmacy and a mini crunch bar.
A
It's a fire list, honestly, because it's
B
just like, if I'm feeling any of the things that call for any of those things, it's very important. I need my supplements every night.
A
I respect your night. Your. Your nightstand list because it's just simple and true to the night. You know, talk. Talking about, like, what we were saying earlier with me. My nightstand is basically a doomsday supply. Oh, okay, okay, okay.
B
It is a doomsday supply. But I'm gonna say what you absolutely need on your nightstand, realistically. Mokoa is not Makoa. Mokoa is not anything. He's a shell of himself. He cannot even fathom reality without a pair of AirPods. Okay? And he sleeps with them in every night. I worry about his ear canal deeply. And the things that are playing in the AirPod while he's sleeping are just so near, near, near near coated that it. It worries me so much for our future. I can't wait to be signing to you in our 40s AirPods. No question. Bed is being ransacked. If unable to find. I'm going to go eye drops, and then I'm going to go, like, just various. Various snacks. Lots and lots of various snacks. Whatever. That's. Sometimes it's a corn nut, sometimes it's a chip, sometimes all of those things.
A
Yeah, you got to have a variety. One chip, one chocolate, one tertiary.
B
What the is tertiary? Here we go.
A
Singular secondary tertiary.
B
Sounds like tushy tushy. I also think it's funny with the eye drops. It just. This just made me think of it. But it is so funny how you will never, ever, ever beat the MOA is always stoned allegations.
A
This is. We don't even have to get into this.
B
No, but it makes me really mad. You know why? Because I'm defensive over my baby. That's my smoochie. And he. Here's the thing. If he wanted to be stoned 24 hours a day, seven days a week, he absolutely could be okay. It's free will. He operates fine that way. Anyhow, I think that, you know, you. You come from a place where it's a part of the trees, and everyone, you know, they do it, and that's the vibe and. But my poor, sweet, it. A little baby has Terrygium. And if you don't know what Terrygium is and you can correct me if I'm wrong, but when you're surfing in the water, the reflection of the sun on the water on your eyes takes away from that top layer and it makes the little, the little red stuff come to the front more. God, that was insufferable for anyone having to watch that. I'm so sorry. And they're just always red because of all the surfing and the saltwater. Like right now you have, you have triium and people think you're like stoned to the gills when you like you had aren't even smoking.
A
There's a. Yeah, there's a double, a double edge to this because a lot of the times when I'm just like in a tik tok of yours, it's 2:00am and, and I'm falling asleep and maybe probably faded. So it doesn't help where I.
B

What is this, your first date?
A
Oh, no.
B
We help people customize and save on car insurance with Liberty Mutual together. We're married.
A
Me to a human, him to a bird.
B
Yeah, the bird looks out of your league.
A
Anyways, get a quote@liberty mutual.com or with your local agent.
B
Liberty. Liberty. Liberty. Liberty.
A
Look blazed. And I am blazed. But I haven't smoked in three weeks and my eyes are just as red as they were like three weeks ago. Like, it is what it is.
B
And, and there's a lot of times where I'll post you. And I know, obviously, because I know everything you do and everything you intake and every way you breathe and think and all the things and I'll know that you like, haven't smoked in all the top comments or like he's stoned out of his mind for sure. And I think there's an insinuation situation of stoned out of your mind, like all the time. If people think that about you, they think that you're unintelligent. So I think that's why I get like, you know what I mean? Because I'm like, no. He's just.
A
Yeah. There's usually like, yeah. Positive correlation between high all the time and. But yeah, believe it or not, I'm not high all the time, but I can understand how I do look all the time.
B
And you have terrigium.
A
And yeah, even when I was. I remember my. We don't have to even get into it. But just like freshman year of high school. Never smoked weed in my life. Showing up. Oh, and teachers saying oh all the time. They're like this. They probably. They're like, this kid is just baked out of his mind all the time. And I just literally, I've never smoked a day in my life. And it just. It is what it is and it's okay.
B
Yeah.
A
And we. We push on and one day I'll get surgery and it'll all be good. But until then, it also doesn't help too. When I smile very big, my cheeks come up here. This is just. I'm not just yapping at this point, but this is something I've noticed in photos. If I really do like, like a this, you know what I'm saying, doesn't help my case or my cause.
B
Oh, I think it's very cute and I know your truth. Trium King.
A
Thank you.
B
What is a non negotiable for our wedding? So it doesn't really fall under the rules of the game, but someone commented it and we love our brand Safers.
A
Obviously our food list that we talk about.
B
We have a running food list in our notes app of non negotiable foods that will be served at our wedding. We made this decision and just fatmaxing. Obviously we made this decision a while ago that at our wedding we want to serve. Serve a plethora of different like nope, nope. And correcting an assortment of different foods that we have gathered in life from different like, you know what I mean? Like foods that we like from different places.
A
Yeah. We kind of want to showcase like a sense of us to the people.
B
Yes.
A
100 attendants.
B
And it's so funny because I already know all of our friends will be roasting us for that because it's like it's Doritos Locos tacos all the way to like a certain type of caramelized brussels sprout that we love. Love.
A
And that just speaks to us and the range of. Of a human. Of humans that we are.
B
It always has been a big bonding point for us. I think that some of my favorite memories with you are over food. Like, we both.
A
We get articulate over some nonsense.
B
Yes. We love food. We, like, we think we're Keith Lee in the bedroom at night. Like, we are always reviewing food with each other, like, very heavily.
A
Like, oh, my God, the way that this just pairs with this. And then they just did a dash of the. And oh, my God, it just. It just so takes it there. Like, if they would have just done this, it just wouldn't have hit the same. You know what I mean? We love that we've just collected all over the world. We're going to have to. I don't know the logistics of how we're going to have to pull this off, but it's going to be things from. From Europe, from Hawaii, from Mexico, from, like, it's. It's going to be interesting. But I do love the idea.
B
But we actually keep this list in our notes app and it really will be, like, the focal point of our wedding, which I just think is so funny. And I really weirdly do feel like you and I hold the same role in our friend group where, like, all the other friends, like, crowd around and point and laugh at, like, the eating habits. Like, your friends do that to you. My friends do that to me. And, like, that was the first thing that we actually ever, like, we're like, no way. Like, we were both very obsessed with Taco Bell and we, like, loved that about each other. We ordered it together, we ate it. It was like one of our first ever moments, you know, so the food, for sure. I definitely am very vow particular. I think that I will want to ensure that our vows are such a moment. I think that it's the highlight. Yes.
A
Out of all the things, whether like dancing, flowers, piano person, musician, whatever, you know what I mean? Other things, whatever. Other things come along with that.
B
I agree. And I think that when I see videos of, like, some frat man marrying some girl and she has beautiful vows and then he's across from her being like, I just the woman who makes
A
me the man I am.
B
And that's like his whole vow. I'm like, I. I would be. I would walk away. I'd be a runaway bride. I think that the vow are so important because it's. Those are the words that you're choosing to, like, lock in this forever. And you're. They're so powerful because you are saying Them in front of all of the people that you both love so much. And it's the message that you are starting your marriage on. So I. Whenever I actually imagine our wedding, that is what I imagine is you and I saying our vows to each other and that's what comes.
A
That's sweet. Smooch.
B
I also think, think that non negotiably, we have decided on two weddings. I've decided on two.
A
I mean, more the merrier.
B
Hey, yeah. One Vegas.
A
We'll cover all the, all the locals.
B
One Vegas quickie.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's to start the festivities. I see the photos now. I think they're so iconic. It's so necessary to me. And then I. I gun deeply for the other one being Hawaii. I remember at one point you had suggested like Napa.
A
I just didn't want to be that person. And it's like non negotiable. We have to do in Hawaii and blah, blah, blah. It's like I want to be inclusive to like all parties and I love all parties and like family members. You know what I mean? Like at the end of the day, like, it doesn't have to be in Hawaii, you know, like, it is a little cliche.
B
It is a little cliche. I guess you're right. And I. I also do love like the European excursions and stuff. They're just so expensive. I think I've always also been like.
A
Like a destination. I see. Yeah.
B
Like, why not ball out on, like. Although Hawaii to a lot of people is a destination wedding.
A
Right? Right.
B
It's your home. And I think that if we did my hometown in your hometown. Beaut. That's a beautiful.
A
It's beautiful.
B
You know, and just something light. I really want to be barefoot. I know that. I want to marry you in Hawaii. Barefoot dogs out, professing love. Like, no. Cuz especially when in Hawaii, you see. You see that all the time. People are getting married in the grass and then the heels are digging in the grass. Like, I don't want to twist my ankle on our wedding day at all.
A
Yeah. That's a quick way to chalk a beautiful day.
B
Yeah, absolutely. No, you just carry me around. That was how we met anyhow. Maybe that's.
A
Maybe that's how it. How the story continues.
B
Yeah. The dating story. The close of the dating story. Maybe Moa Ho has to be blacked out. Breaking my left toe on our wedding day. It would be his honor. Truly wouldn't be our honor, but it would be his honor.
A
Oh, goodness.
B
People kept asking, who's your hall Pass. We don't operate like that around here. We don't do that here. Get them banned. Oh, now I'm pissed. It's just. No, no, no. We're not passing any, anybody's hall. No, absolutely not. I will say we were talking about this earlier. There's, there's something to be said about people who live different lifestyles than ours having hall passes. I think people, some people also just have different relationships than ours. Like, I don't want to hear about your hall pass, but I think that we just live in la. We see a lot of people, places. There's things that are too close to home. We've never done that. Celebrity crushes or hall passes or any of those vibes with each other.
A
I mean, to each their own. I, I get if people want to do that, but I don't really think that we don't operate like that.
B
Like, a girl will be dating a guy who looks like Hank Hill and then she'll be like, my hall pass is Michael B. Jordan. And it's like, that's got to create some insecurity there, right? Like, that's got like. When people's hall passes look nothing like the, the person that they're with, it's like there's something to be said about that. So it's just like, keep it. I don't know.
A
No, I, I, I did see something that was like, would you want, it was something about, would you be publicly okay with your girlfriend making a tik tok of her being into mid looking gu. Something like that, where it's like you're subtly being implicated into this. And I don't know exactly.
B
Oh, like she's saying on Tick Tock that she likes mid guys, which is
A
saying like, oh, I don't mind them if they're just like a little ugly. And you're just sitting there like, like, you know what I mean? It's like, what are we doing?
B
I don't like talking about the aesthetics of other people.
A
That was a great example. The Hank Hill. I had to like. I, I was like, wait, who's Hank? I was like, oh, American. American dad.
B
Yeah, yeah. And that's how my ass looks right now. I need more sculpture.
A
Drowned. Shut the.
B
I was gonna say, what's the first thing the other person does when they wake up in the morning? But like, you turn your phone sideways and I'm ripping a vape and I think we both should have better truths. And that's just like, I don't even want to paint us in that Light.
A
Yeah. It's not even, like, a cute stretch or, like, a.
B
Honestly, since Buster, I do feel like the first thing we do now when we wake up is, like, wake him up and we get excited about him rolling around in the bed.
A
That's true.
B
And we have, like, little, like, mommy daddy time, and he, like, wants to play immediately, and he's, like, biting us, and we're like, okay, yeah.
A
He's doing his little equivalent to alligator death roll while also gnawing anything in sight while also stretching. It's incredible. Truly.
B
So incredible.
A
That's a good answer.
B
And his nickname. We call him Ity Mortise because at night when he sleeps in between us, he, like, literally goes into rigor mortise. Like, his body just becomes so, like, stiff, but also, like, pliable that it's like, are you, like. You can pick him up by his back and he's like, in a full back bend and he doesn't care.
A
He's relax, maxing.
B
Yes. We call him Ity Mortise. Our nicknames are also so funny. We need to talk about that at some point.
A
I. I wish we had an ongoing list of that. I feel like there's so, like, it's sad that there's probably a name that we've called each other at some point that we both forget for months.
B
Of course, there's so many. We've always done that since we started dating. Like, we have one nickname we beat into the ground for two months until we come across another one. Right now, any iteration of the word be has, like, become, like, bijon mustard, be, Honey bee, little Be. Little B. Johnson, which comes from Lyndon B. Johnson. And, like, today you walk through the door and the very first thing I said to you was, Lyndon B. Johnson administration. And, like, that's genuinely my nickname for you right now.
A
First thought came to brain. Oh, my God. Husband came home from war.
B
Yeah. Lyndon Johnson. And I mean it with my whole chest. That is my nickname for you.
A
And it's sincere. Like, I feel that.
B
Yes.
A
I'm like, wow, what love she is showcasing to me.
B
Yes. And then just Lyndon, Lyndon B. And like, I don't know anything about the Lyndon B. Johnson administration, by the way.
A
Please don't even literally ongoing a bit. We've just.
B
Just ongoing iterations of B and B. John and little B. And I'm trying to think of any other ones right now. I'm trying to make toilet baby work for you, but it's not.
A
It was, like, as of yesterday.
B
But that's because Mokoa has a serious Problem with prolonged toilet time that he doesn't want to admit. And I keep telling him that prolonged toilet time is the leading cause of colon cancer. Look it up.
A
Let a man chill on his throne.
B
I know, I know, I know. I try. And then I come in there and just stand over you. Like, your patience for the way that I, like, mess with you or pop your blackheads or just, like, do all the little things is so, so, so sweet.
A
Genuinely. What do they call it? Like, sleep paralysis demon? Just, like, over toilet it as I'm just in the most vulnerable position, sitting there, and you're just, like, over me. Just like, hey, what are you doing? Hey, what are you doing? You know, colon. A prolonged toilet time is the leading cause of colon cancer. And you, like, literally sitting there just like, I have two and a half minutes of my YouTube video left. Would love to finish this off and pinch what little liquid I have left in my shaft. God forbid. Like, holy. But I get it. You've run out of things to do.
B
Because that's the thing.
A
Whenever you're out, you're just like.
B
And this is on codependency, but whenever you're in the bathroom, I miss you. And I just.
A
What better thing could you be doing right now?
B
Yes. And then I.
A
Entertaining me.
B
And then I just. That really is my perception of you sometimes.
A
What better thing could you be doing
B
right now than entertaining me? And that's up. And then, yeah, I'll make myself busy for a little bit while you're in the bathroom. And then eventually I'm like, I know What?
A
It's been 74 seconds. What is he doing?
B
It's like 25 minutes. Don't let him gaslight.
A
25 minutes.
B
Thank you. You love prolonged toilet time, but at the same time, like, you're so right with the original sentiment of let a man have that. Like, let you. You do everything. All you want is a little prolonged toilet time.
A
Feet will be rubbed immediately after exit.
B
Yes. And all of that, too. You're very sweet about that. I think you're so good about just making me feel so nice and comfortable all the time. You scratch my little head. You make sure I'm fed. You give me back massages. I feel like with the scoliosis, too. I am. Like, it's one thing, like, partners give each other massages now and again. I understand. But, like, you give me a full shiatsu massage every single day, and it's so. For a, like, an hour. It's so nice of you.
A
Yeah, we have. I mean, it's Just tough with scheduling. But we do need to get you obviously just like, yeah, like more, more chiropracty.
B
But you make it much easier for
A
me to live actual. I feel like I can temporarily help, but, but I think like homeboy that. Homeboy. Not homeboy, but like Dr. Javid. No, no, no. The masseuse that comes over that like really, I feel like, like I, I understand certain principles of giving a good massage, but I think he is much more professionally trained and can physical therapy. Yeah. Like actually give you like at least a couple days. Like I can get you to the next day, but I think he can really like help you out and like find the pinpoints and do all the things, you know know. And you do need more of it. I, I, I, it does suck that
B
you just live in pain.
A
Yeah. Because I, I feel you, I, you
B
and me both, we both have. Yours is more from like surfing and different things, but we live with a lot of body pain. But my point here is just how much we try to ease each other's, you know, all of the negative things in life.
A
Sweet. I love you so much.
B
Should we see one more? My irrational fear bug.
A
Any kind of bug creature. Flying, non flying.
B
I have a bug bite on my thigh right now that my OCD has already convinced me, convinced me is absolutely going to send me into lower half of body paralysis within the next hour.
A
But any kind of foreign creature that you're like unfamiliar with, especially a new area. And I get that too.
B
You're a rational fear.
A
I do hate one specific type of bug. Very, very, very.
B
You do it. Spiders.
A
Yeah.
B
But that's not your irrational fear.
A
No.
B
I don't know if I know your irrational fear. Like I, I could go on a tangent about like people being loud, but it goes back to the disrespect thing. But that's not really a fear. Like, what's your irrational fear?
A
Like I have a weird fear of drowning. I swear to God. I swear to God. That's like in all of my.
B
You surf at night?
A
No, I, I, it's, it's obviously hilarious, but I have a certain ceiling limitation on my surfing capabilities, especially when size increases. And it is only because I think I'm going to drown because I almost did one time and it like always sits in the back of my head. Like, I think I'd be such a better surfer if I could just like get over it. My completely irrational. I will be in a situation where I feel comfortable. I have safety with me. I have jet skis, I have kaipo who's like, an amazing paramedic who could, if God forbid, anything happened, like, do anything to me. Like, I have all the resources right in front of me, and I just have this, like, little thing in the back of my head. I'm like, I'm gonna. It's also my lungs in, like, I don't know, my chest or whatever, but if, like, I'm gonna, like, inhale salt water, and then I'm not gonna be able to breathe. And it's happened to me before, like, to lower scales, if you will. But I just. Yeah, it's like my irrational. Very irrational, but, like, my irrational fear.
B
I'm gonna just go out on record and say that. I actually absolutely love that. The other day, you were telling me a story about a day in your life, and we can get into this later. I would love to do a whole podcast with you about adventurous nature and the things that you've done and the things that horrify me. You. Long story short, you're telling a story. You tow out to surf, which means jet ski far, deep, deep, deep in ocean. You end up getting very hurt. Fin of board, gashes, leg. Show scar to the podcast, why don't you.
A
You probably can't see it, but.
B
No, you can definitely, definitely see it. Leg wide open, gushing blood. He made the active decision that I will just continue to bleed and surf all day because I have taken such a far trek out here, and the waves are so good. And as you were telling me this story, I was clenching every hole. I know that. I will say that since we've started dating, I think you operate with even more caution because you now know that you are living for a partnership as well. And my anxieties and I always really appreciate that, but I love that your irrational fear is drowning. Please continue to live that way.
A
Yeah, it's really. I don't know, it's very irrational, and I. I can hold my breath for multiple minutes underwater. I have all the. All the things, all the things. And there's just something in the back of my head that I. I don't know. I just can't. When. When surf gets big and whatever. I know.
B
I love that.
A
I get. I get a little. I get a little worried.
B
I'm gonna go with the last one being what is my green flag?
A
Your green flag is that you. You just have so much love to give genuinely your capacity to showcase love, whether to me or to Buster Brown or to your friends or to whoever it may be. You have, like, an incredible capacity and Outward showcasing of. Of love to any and all. Even in times of, like, I don't know, like, you'll be. You're a busy girl. You know, you always be doing stuff, but I feel like you just. You're always showing love. You're always letting me know how much you love me, me. And it's the sweetest, sweetest, sweetest thing. And I really do appreciate it.
B
I think it's, like, important. Even, like, at the airport, I always try to, like, make sure to give one of the TSA workers a compliment or like, a stranger or something. I think that, like, it's such a stupid, simple thing, but, like, no, it
A
goes a long, long way.
B
And just like. And there's no greater joy in life to me than, like, seeing someone light up over a complimentary. Like, you never know what someone's going through, that type of thing. Even today, we drove past this little Volkswagen with all these stickers on it, and there was the cutest girl in her car, and she had her window rolled down, and I wanted to roll down the window to tell her, like, I love all the stickers on your car. Like, they're all so cute. And then we, like, ended up changing lanes and we couldn't. And I was like. Like, it was eating me alive that I couldn't do that. Like, I just. I think it's such an important part of life to always say the thing to people because it just goes so far. So I really appreciate that because I practice it and I definitely.
A
It shows.
B
Do have the most love to give to you because you are my favorite person in the world. I think your green flag. I have two solution oriented king. You are always the person in every situation who is trying to help everyone out, make things better, all of those things. I also think that. That you will put anyone before yourself. You are. And not even in a people pleaser way, in a genuine, selfless way. Like, even if whatever you're doing for someone else makes it 10 times harder for you or makes your day harder or takes away from something you wanted to do or, like, it's the. The long way to go to do the thing for someone else, you are always, always going to do it. And you are just the most selfless person I've ever met.
A
I really appreciate that. That's like, that's very sweet. Obviously, nobody can be perfect, but yeah, sometimes you need someone to, like, make the extra run to the car, you know?
B
Yeah, I know.
A
And, like, that's okay, you know, I. I will eat that on the chest I've been thankfully very physically blessed to be able to. Able to operate and whatever. Like, yeah, whatever the case may be beach day. All right, who's carrying the umbrella? Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, you know, it's okay. And I really. It truly doesn't weigh on me because in my head, simple, as simple as. As it can be, is this is going to inconvenience me less than it's going to inconvenience said other people.
B
And I'm said other person.
A
And I can no like you. Whether it's whatever. You know what I mean? I think it's like, as simple as that. Like, this is going to be going to suck for me as least as possible than other in this. Like, other said whatever. And it's. It's okay.
B
Like, But I love that about you because I think that I'm the type of person who is just, like, lazy to my core. So good God, like, I am. I'm so. I can also be that way in work. I am not lazy. But when it comes to physicality, like, going to get something or whatever, I know that that is like my damning quality. I am just. And then you do the thing. I think it's adhd, like paralysis type of thing, where I convince myself it's bigger than it is. Doesn't really matter. Good God, do I love that about you. But genuinely, no. The selflessness runs deeper than just a small task. However, we are. We're about to be podcasting in the pitch black, and Kyle is having an utter attack off camera due to it.
A
He just nodded, hands were waving.
B
He's literally behind the camera going like this. I don't even know if you can see me. It might be pitch black. But honestly, it's funny. You and I, we do what we do best in the regard that we love to yap. I think we got through maybe four or five of these questions today, and I'm realizing. Realizing that this can be.
A
Yeah, this will be ongoing. This will continue. Yeah, we never. We didn't podcast. You know, I think this is just part of the. Maybe we'll do a little segment, if you will, on our podcast, you know, answering people's questions, because you guys do have great questions and we love to answer them.
B
So we do. And thank you to everyone who just makes this possible. I think for so long, I just dreamed and dreamed and dreamed of getting to sit in Maui in the back of our truck and talk together like we do in bed. And. And you're just quite literally my favorite person in the entire world.
A
You're my favorite.
B
I love you.
A
I love you so much.
B
I love you so much. This is amazing. Thank you to all the brand Safers out there for tuning in and we will talk to you guys very soon.
A

The episode is hilariously self-aware, loving, and at times, irreverently candid. Tana and Makoa balance silly, almost absurd jokes (laced with cursing, inside slang, and references to “maxxing” everything from vapes to weather forecasting) with surprising depth about relationships, self-improvement, and what real intimacy looks like for modern couples. Longtime fans will enjoy the window into their daily rituals, but new listeners will find gems about partnership, authenticity, and the blend of chaos and care that defines their story.
