For the second straight year, the tournament winner got to -30, even after architect Lanny Wadkins guaranteed that his renovation would prevent that. This week, the PGA of America apparently learned nothing and named Keegan Bradley assistant captain for the 2027 Ryder Cup. The thick rough and tough green complexes of Aronimink Golf Club gave the best in the world a lot of fits at the PGA Championship this week, but Englishman Aaron Rai pulled away on the back nine for his first major victory. Rai has a great back story and his unparalleled work ethic has now made him a major champion.
