In an effort to deal with soaring rents the government created ‘approved housing bodies’. Their job among other things is to source properties at affordable rents. Tuath Housing does exactly that and hopes to deliver 2530 cost rental homes in the coming 18 months in which tenants will have secure housing at more affordable prices. Ireland is not the only country with problems delivering major infrastructure projects on time and on budget.
