Seattle's favorite sports show with Brock Huard and Mike Salk.

Stacy Rost joins Mike Salk to discuss whether two things can be true for the Mariners right now, the early struggles of Cal, Julio and Naylor and what to expect from their first road trip. Then, in Need to Know, we dicuss the M's starting their road trip in Anaheim, JP Crawford being reinstated from IL, John Schneider discussing the Seahawks being on Hard Knocks and the Kraken's tough loss last night. Plus, we take your calls, as we do every Friday.

The hour starts with For You In Review, where Salk plays back some of the most interesting sound from their interviews throughout the week. Then, Gee Scott stops by for his weekly appearance.

Salk reacts to MLB Network stating that they have the Mariners at No. 3 in their power rankings but also have some cause for concern. He agrees, and lists a couple of those concerns. He also goes through a few newsworthy NFL stories including Puka Nacua, Aaron Rodgers, AJ Brown and more. In Blue 88, Brady Henderson of ESPN joins to break down a slept on former draft prospect that John Schneider loved, whether it's more likely that the Seahawks will trade up or down in the draft and when a Devon Witherspoon extension could get done.

The Kraken lost in a big way last night as the season continues to wind down, and Salk is frustrated by it. Then, they re-air their conversation with Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network to discuss a handful of NFL Draft prospects and who could fit the Seahawks.

We continue the discussion we started with Daniel Jeremiah last hour on whether the Seahawks should consider trading a first rounder next year to draft RB Jeremiyah Love. Then, Salk asks how we are feelin after week one of Mariners baseball.

The hour starts with some funny listener voicemails for Here's The Thing. Later, Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network joins the show for his weekly segment, in which he breaks down several upcoming NFL Draft prospects and how they could fit the Seahawks, along with if the Seahawks could trade either up or down in this draft.

Brock and Salk share what stood out to each of them from their conversation with Philip Rivers and what they learned about the Seahawks from it. They then discuss some of their takeaways from the Mariners first week of the season, including what they have like and what leaves them slightly concerned. In Blue 88, Brock dives in on a Mike Macdonald/Sean McVay comparison that he hasn't heard before, how Macdonald compares to some business leaders and a new football term that he learned from Philip Rivers.

Salk reads some more late night texts to start the show after the Mariners lose the series to the Yankees. Later, they re-air their conversation with former NFL QB Philip Rivers to discuss what jumped out about the Seahawks defense, his own career and post-career and much more.

We discuss who and what stood out to Phillip Rivers in facing Seattle's defense last season. Then, we dig into the latest from the NFL annual meetings with stories on the Jets lofty expectations for Geno Smith, Roger Goodell on replacement refs, whether Maxx Crosby could still be traded and the possibility that DeShaun Watson is the Browns starting QB week one. Plus, Salk crowns this week's Trash Takes winner.

Brock and Salk wonder what the conversation between Colt Emerson and J.P. Crawford was like in Tacoma yesterday after Emerson's extension, as Crawford is there on a rehab assignment, and how Crawford could be feeling in general in light of Emerson's extension. After that, former NFL QB Phillip Rivers joins the show to share his analysis on what jumped out about the Seahawks defense, what made him come out of retirement this past year and much more.
