Mike and Dan breakdown the 'drunkest' game of the year from MetLife Stadium as the Bills snapped their two-game skid and exercised their demons in New Jersey.

A
This game was beyond drunk. Yeah, this game. About midway through the third quarter, it opened its eighth beer and then by three minutes later it was 12 deep.
B
We understand the gravity of this type of game. Us being four, two, a two and a half game lead with the head to head win as opposed to being three and three and being second place. So big game for us. In terms of where it stands in the grand scheme of things though, it was the next one and that's why it was the most important.

A
Nope. This game was beyond drunk. Yeah, this game. About midway through the third quarter, it opened its eighth beer and then by three minutes later it was 12 deep.
C
Unbelievable. Okay, I have to start with the thing. There's a few things everybody's talking about because you know, if you were at work today or you're going to work, people are going to be talking about it. The amount of penalty flags thrown in this game was absurd. When they called the ruffing call on Josh Allen, I looked at the two refs who threw the flag and they both threw it up in the air like confetti. They were very excited. 22 accepted penalties in this game.
A
That doesn't count the three or four times penalties were offsetting.
C
Yeah. On both teams. And then there were ones that were not accepted because the play went by an absurd amount. It. I won't say it ruined the game because the game was oddly entertaining, but.
A
What'S crazy is that a lot of those penalties, like all happen in the second half. Like the first quarter in midway through the second quarter was like, there's not a single flag. I was like, this game's moving. We're doing.
C
Everybody was running the ball. The clock was moving. Yeah. Everything was going that way.
A
This game just did keg stands in the second half.
C
It was nuts. It was nuts. All right, let's talk about the physical nature of this game. From the Buffalo Bills, right from the get go, we knew James Cook wasn't going to play and we talked about it earlier. Ty Johnson, Ray Davis getting their opportunities. I thought both were good. I thought Ray Davis was really good.
A
There was intent on that opening drive. That was bully ball by the Bills. It's what they did their first three weeks. I think big picture, that's the way they want to play. That's the way this team is assembled for the fact of they want to be physical and run the ball and then Josh makes some superhero plays with below average wide receivers. That's the formula that this team wants to win and it kind of has to win by.
C
That's what I was going to do. I was going to replace the word once, which they do want to with needs to for them to win because they ain't going to do it throwing the ball 40 times a game. Not with this team. Nope, not going to happen.
A
There's no real rhythm with a three step or a five step drop offense. The big plays that were completed, the Curtis Samuel, the Ray Davis, those plays are just backyard plays that when the play gets off script, Josh just puts on his cape and makes a play. But there is very few. 1, 2, 3. Josh hits a guy in a 10 yard slant that takes it 10 more yards for a 20 yard gain. That's not in this Bill's offense's repertoire right now. I don't know how sustainable that is. It goes back to when we were saying about the first three weeks, yeah, how sustainable is this? But it is sustainable if this team wants to be physical. There was intent. I felt like all of the talk about Deon Dawkins and the rivalry and, and that they are fake tough guys that try and be cool and just want to post pictures on Instagram. Like there was an anger with that offensive line. It was personal when they dominated that line on the opening drive. That's what I think they need to do to continue to pick up wins this season.
C
One other thing on that opening drive, how about Dalton Kincaid lowering his shoulder on the guy on the sidelines?
A
It was a mindset.
C
Bench lit up.
A
It was a mindset from the first snap of we are going to impose our will. We're going to be the ones that control the line of scrimmage. And it was really effective early on.
C
Yeah, well, while we're talking about that, let's hear from Ray Davis talked afterward. He gets a podium shot. You know, it's the three people at the podium, as you would expect, it's Josh Allen, Sean McDermott and Ray Davis. But he deserved it. Here he is about his night against the Jets.
D
You know, it's definitely a confidence boost for myself, but realistically it's about the guys in my room. You know, James, Todd Diev and Frank, you know, every day, those guys continue to push me. Those guys tell me that you. I'm good at what I do and just, you know, keep the faith and understand that. They gave me the ball the first two times. It showed that they had a lot of trust and confidence in me. And, you know, again, as a running back, that's something that you love. You know, again, you got. You got to be able to hold the ball and understand getting the first down and put the game away. So, you know, I love. I love those guys in my room. And, you know, I love our OC for trusting and believing in me.
A
I was thinking about a running back that reminds me of Ray Davis. Do you have a running back that reminds you of him? A little bit. He kind of runs as if Khalil Shakir would be a running back. Like the way that he just kind of bounces off players.
C
He does well. Josh started to say he's not going to wow anybody with his speed. He wouldn't say the word speed. Josh, we know what you meant. He just said he's tough.
A
Go ahead. Go ahead. It's a little bit. To me, the first thing that popped up. He's probably not as fast. Michael Turner, the longtime Falcons running back.
C
Yeah.
A
Lower center of gravity. Would get his pads level low, got extra. A little bit of Austin Eckler, the way that. The way that he can stay low.
C
Yeah.
A
A little bit of Mike Tolbert where the bowling ball kind of physicality of it. I know those are three kind of random running backs, but on the first.
C
Snap, he went on the outside, beat everybody to the corner.
A
Yep. Like he. Michael Turner, the burner.
C
Right.
A
Like, he did have some of that. It seemed like a blend of all that he makes. The unreal catch.
C
Yeah.
A
Massive play. I know it was a free play. Josh said he saw the hold, but just an unreal like that. This was the Ray Davis game. This was a big moment when we all thought James Cook was going to play. He doesn't play. Ty Johnson set the tone also early. But once Ray Davis got hot, opening drive, six rushes for almost 50 yards. It was his game in the backfield.
C
All right, so they're controlling the game. They take it down the field. Josh gets the touchdown. First of all. The play he made before that, trying to do too much. It's what he has done against the Jets. Ball pops loose. Bills jump on it.
A
The one lane.
C
Yes.
A
Okay.
C
And then he throws the touchdown. Just a tremendous Josh Allen play. Nice to see Dawson Knox come up with a big play.
A
Awesome. And that was the play. And I tweeted out the video. Josh was. I've never seen Josh so openly trash talking. Josh is usually the subtle guy. He did the. I don't know who you are to the guy in the Dolphins. He was in a Jets linebacker's face, nodding. Spencer Brown had to separate them and he kind of ran to the sidelines like that was an emotional drive. And again he goes from hitting all of the buttons to the beautifulness and the specialness of Josh Allen on that play because he looked like he was sacked.
C
The experience of that two plays was incredible. Okay, that's when the nuttiness just started.
A
Yes.
C
21 seconds. God, sometimes I wish the Bills would kick the ball to another team with a minute and a half because when it's a limited amount of seconds, something's going to happen. So they get near midfield. They had a penalty. Balls back a little bit for the Jets. There's eight seconds left now. My thought, and maybe this is the problem is I think this is on Bob Babich here. It's what the impression I got, all Sean said was we have to go over what our personnel is out there. It's ultimately on Sean McDermott. Yes, because he's the head coach. But I don't think they were sure. They probably thought guard the sidelines, they're going to try to get 8 or 10 yards and kick a field goal. Wouldn't you think that was what it was.
A
So I went into to go start cutting video and they had the jets broadcast on in the edit room, the film room, the photographer's room. And they've already saying, hey, you know, Rogers has this streak of Hail Marys. He's had success. Maybe you can get to midfield to get a Hail Mary.
C
They threw it.
A
They did it.
C
Bill's rush too. McDermott specifically mentioned he gets a little technical. I was going to play the sound bite, but one of the things he said was we have to look at the personnel we have on the field, including how many players in coverage and how many pass rushers.
A
He sent two and dropped AJ Epanessa.
C
With a 57 year old quarterback for the Jets. No pressure. AJ Epanessa and Greg Russo are dropping in. What la la land. Now when you see the catch positionally, Taron Johnson is right there. And then what was it?
A
Lazard.
C
Lazard. He didn't push him, he just sort of pushed off of him a little bit, caught the ball. You had defenders behind him and then he made like Hopkins and went up and caught the ball.
A
Hail Mary defense is an issue because.
C
You remember they gave up the one to Hopkins and then they almost gave.
A
Up one the following week after the bye. Because Hopkins, the Hal Murray went into a bye week and there was another one later in the year.
C
And you remember they almost gave one up in the Tampa game.
A
Yep.
C
Last year.
A
Yep.
C
What?
A
What are we doing? What are we doing? Yeah. And.
C
And they get it. And look, there is no one better. Which also should be why you should really be focused on. Aaron Rodgers is a lot of stuff and a lot of it is a lot of nonsense, but he is still a great thrower of the football and he is an incredible thrower of the Hail Mary.
A
Amazing.
C
He just puts it up in the air. He knows how to get it where his guy can go catch it.
A
Yep.
C
And that's what ended up happening. So now the game is tied. You go in at halftime. That had to be. Instead of being up 10, there was a three point game, right? Yeah. Because the touchdown. Instead of being up 10, they're up three. Three.
A
Yep.
C
And they're getting the ball in the second half.
A
Tyler Bass, the second that ball left his foot, my camera's just focused on Tyler Bass. He's kicking it with like the hope that this goes in there. It doesn't appear.
C
It's 47 yards.
A
It doesn't appear that he's striking the ball. We've all hit those drives and you're just like over the ball and you're like, I don't know where this is going. That's the feel of what it appears from the outside, not in the building. For what Tyler Bass is the extra point. Was it blocked?
C
Okay, they said it was blocked. It looked like.
A
Missed the net.
C
Shankopotamus.
A
It missed the net.
C
I said that. You remember those commercials with the little babies. Chankopotamus. It was a terrible kick and he's already had. Now, if it was blocked, that's too blocked. What does Sean say afterward?
A
He knows he has to make those kicks.
C
I'm tired of hearing that he says it. It's not Sean's. This is Bean's call, right?
A
Yep.
C
And what he's going to do with them. I will say this, and I usually don't call people out, and I probably shouldn't say it this way, but, you know, Tyler Bass has had a few tough games and we don't normally talk to the kicker.
A
Yeah.
C
So we have to wait until they open up the locker room, which is understandable. And that means, like, I think it's what is it 15 minutes after or 10 minutes after the last player comes in? And they were just about basically ready to open the doors and we were just walking in and Bass was gone.
A
Yep.
C
Maybe it means nothing to you guys to sometimes stand up there and say, I gotta be better. He did it last year after the Kansas City miss. So I give him credit for that. And I know he feels bad, but, you know, it did not cost them the game, but it's going to cost them a game 100%.
A
That's the thing. It's not just looking in the moment, it's looking down the road at a situation of a big kick. Because when they were driving late, I was like, is this four down territory? Like, can you even put. So when that's in the back of your head, it changes your offensive play calling. It changes the what you're doing. It's a tough situation to be in. Instead of being like, hey, if we don't get this, we know our guy's good from 50. The Bills don't have that confidence.
C
Yeah, I mean, in the NFL you.
A
Don'T have that confidence.
C
It's 50, 55, sometimes 57. You can play that way. Now look, they got a break because sirloin. Now, I would say this, you know, our friend Katherine Fitzgerald from the Buffalo News tweeted that it was the double doink because he did it. Because it's two separate times he hit the post. I say it's the doink double.
A
I like that.
C
Because double doink was what the Bears.
A
Kicker did when it hit two uprights and one kick.
C
This is two separate kicks that hit the upright huge for the Bills. I mean, there were four missed kicks in this game.
A
We were talking about it. You know, I was even kind of.
C
You called missed extra point in this one.
A
I did call missed extra point.
C
Credit to you.
A
Credit to me. But the fact of after last week, Fairbairn hits a 57 yarder and it was like, when's the last time a kicker has ever missed a kick against.
C
Oh, you did say that.
A
Yes. It just. It never happens. It happened.
C
Greg Zurline walked in and said, I got you, Dan.
A
Hold my beer.
C
Yeah. Banging him off the goal post. And it really helps.
A
They're so loud when.
C
I know, I know. It was something we talked about Josh and making those plays. He did get some help from some other people, smaller things. And we talked about this before the game. I didn't think you said Keon, you know, you don't expect him against these corners. Two nice catches on that One drive. Quick hitters catch the ball. Played a little physical. I like him in those early matchups when the ball is there. That was good.
A
It was also because DJ Reed left the game, which also helped.
C
Always helps. Curtis Samuel. In the time it takes you to.
A
Actually board that flight from Group 8.

C

A
Curtis Samuels showed up. A little scramble drill again because nobody gets open on time. On three or five, Zep drops, but a little bit more. It's funny, we always talk about drawing things up and Joe Brady scheming things and coaching and X's and O's. Sometimes it's just make a play.
C
Yeah.
A
And that's what we saw Ray Davis do on the long completion. That's Curtis Samuel on that completion. Find space. Help your quarterback out. When everything's broken, just be a dude and make a play. Be a guy and make a play.
C
Yeah. You know, and that's what they haven't gotten. Matt Collins on the touchdown.
A
That is Josh Allen's favorite throw.
C
Yeah.
A
Slot in the red zone over linebacker between a safety.
C
That is.
A
He did it to Jake Kumaro for years. That was a Gabe Davis route. Like that is something. Knox.
C
Matt caught it.
A
Touche. But like, that is what he feels most comfortable with in the red zone. I thought it was efficient. It was great.
C
Yeah, it was. And it worked for them. Let's talk about some of the guys on defense.
A
I want one more point on Josh Allen.
C
Yes.
A
The leadership today.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
Because we talked about message to the team going into Houston facing Diggs and all that drama and all these things. I don't know if he does it every game. I don't think it is. But before their first drive on offense, Josh huddled all of the offensive linemen on the sidelines. Yeah, he did smelling salts. And then he huddled all the offensive lines. Really? There was a lot. There was a lot of concussed players, apparently.
C
Yeah.
A
Because I digress. But he got them all together and I think at times the emotion got the better of these guys.
C
Right.
A
Deion's comments. Spencer Brown, all of these things. I think it's great to play with that emotion. But Sean talked about it afterwards. The pre snap, the post snap, those things can't happen. And Josh took some leadership of trying to settle guys down. And Sean said other guys were also saying that. But Josh's voice carries so much more weight.
C
Absolutely. And not just him, but he carries so much influence when he does things like that, when he's keeping his composure, keeping his head about him in addition to playing the way he played tonight, that's a sign of a leader and then you can see the influence that that carries. And so, you know, I thought TB does a similar thing on the defensive side. I thought he did some of that tonight and we need that. That's important. The player driven leadership is huge.
A
You saw Josh play with the emotions. I'm not saying he was a saint because he's also jawing in other jets players faces. But it was more controlled from Josh and I liked that. At the end of the game, on the third down and four, Sean McDermott said he pretty much drew it up in the sand there. It was a play that. It's a pass play, but Josh pretty much called the audible and got the first down and then he was all hopped up on Mountain Dew.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
For that play. And again, you can see that emotion of it wasn't great. But again, I was thinking about this game. That game was so dumb. It was bananas. But at least we're sitting here talking about it being a Bills win in that moment. Because this would be a completely different story if we're Talking about the 11 penalties they shot themselves in the foot. Tyler Bass can't make a kick. Josh continues to lose at this house of horrors. It felt like it was a little bit of exorcising the demons in that moment. And you saw that release from Josh when he got that first down.
C
Absolutely. He was thrilled. And look, you know who's feeling that way is this jets team. They fired their coach. This was supposed to turn things around for them. I mean, there were moments. Rodgers blaming his wide receiver, Mike Williams for running the wrong route, Taron Johnson making the play. They had all their own issues in this one and they're the team that is now two and a half games behind the Bills in the division. So it ends up being, look, they have a lot, like I said, they have a lot to clean up. But they can take this win, look at the standings and go, that was big because what it did for them. I wanted to mention a couple of guys on defense. All right, so I'm going to talk about the one play Terrell Bernard did not make. I have no idea how Rodgers got that ball to Lazard.
A
Unbelievable.
C
And Bernard is running with him. He's got his back turned to the play. If he's an inch to the right, the ball hits him in the back and it drops in there for a catch.
A
It wasn't a back shoulder throw. It was a back hip throw. It was a back butt cheek throw off Terrell Bernard. Like, you know, we joke around and we say, hey, there's only one guy that can make that throw in the league. There's. Oh, and you say it's just Allen and Mahomes can make that throw. I think only Aaron Rodgers makes that throw. Got a little lucky, 100%. But he couldn't have handed the ball in a better spot. Rogers still made throws because for the longest time, he had all day to throw. He had so much time. The Bills D line, especially early, struggled to get any pressure.
C
But you know what? It took a trick play. Finally worked for the Bills.
A
Thank you, Jets.
C
The jets tried the pitch back. I was looking where my seat is, you know, you see it wider in the press box. And I looked at no one bit. Nobody bit on that. He gets sacked and then they get another sack right after that. So back to Matt.
A
Two sacks in one drive.
C
Now I think they need to learn how to gently lay him down on the ground because poor, that mean AJ Epanessa tried to tackle him like a football player. Now credit to Rodgers, he said after the game, that was a bad call, even though it was on him.
A
I understand they're trying to eliminate driving the quarterback into the ground. I get that. But when Aaron Rodgers was pretty much a speed bump for AJ Epanessa on that route, I don't know where he's supposed to levitate or float or not go through him. That was a bad call. I didn't understand it. Eventually that drive went on Taylor Rapp and Demar Hamlin with a huge hit, which big hit wasn't called. One of the few plays that there wasn't a flag on. Massive play by them. You said Taylor Rapp's biggest play outside of the interception in Miami, In Miami, probably the second biggest play of his Buffalo tenure. Demar was also there to break it up. Yeah, and then that was the field goal that blocked. So for a second you're thinking the Bills are snake bitten. What a horrible BS call. They make a play, they get the break too.
C
And then Taron Johnson's play at the end where, you know, Mike Williams falls, he's open like I said. Rogers said. Must have said afterward that he ran the wrong route. Tremendous athletic play by Taren, reaching over top of him and making the play. I wanted to talk about a couple of the other penalties. The Spencer Brown penalty, fighting with a defensive lineman and then he hits the ground and he jumps on him. I asked him afterward. I go, did you think that was a penalty? He goes, when I came in here, all the guys were telling me it's a BS call. Now that's his teammate saying it. I think they love that out of him. I don't think that gets called that often. I think it's kind of ticky tack. It's way away from the play. I don't think he's hurting the other player. I think offensive linemen around the league love seeing a guy do that, take the guy down.
A
You never hear personal foul, unnecessary roughness on an offensive lineman. That's just not something that you normally hear. And it reminded me of when I was in the middle of the game, the. Remember the Titans moment when the coach and the one team when Sunshine comes in and lays out the defensive end and the coach goes, that's a flag on the quarterback. Like, it was kind of like you're penalizing Spencer Brown, the lineman who's supposed to be blocking, for blocking.
C
Yeah. Well, in fairness to the refs, they were calling a lot on 79 in this game.
A
False starts, earned it.
C
Yeah, they had too many of those things. And, you know, so when those calls happen, I think you look back on them and say they have to be. I don't think the team is going to be mad. Oh, and by the way, on the penalty for roughing Josh Allen, he did get hit and thrown down, but Josh, Academy Award, beautiful. Just hand to man the trophy. He threw himself at the end.
A
He slammed his own head into the ground to get the call.
C
Yeah. Before we get going here, I don't know if there's anything else you want to add. I wanted to ask you your thoughts on the godforsaken PA announcer during jets games. This is like a single. A baseball game. This is basically New York City. This is an NFL franchise and they got a guy every call, first down, get up out of your seat.
A
What?
C
What is he, a DJ up there? It is comical. They shoot T shirts out. It's the NFL. This is New York childish. Do you see that in other places?
A
No. And because you're gonna bring it up, the security here was Atrocious. Just the worst. And I asked other people, were they just jerks today or are they just this every day? Because we're supposed to be standing over here. You can see there's yellow lines. The security guards just. They acted like I was in their spot. There were water bottles from security guards right next to the field. I mean, the sideline to these yellow lines where we're supposed to be behind is maybe four yards. And I'm thinking we're in the end zone. Somebody scores a touchdown, rolls their ankle on a water bottle because Betty or Bobby has this bottle here. It was atrocious. Getting in and out of press conferences, everything. This place stinks.
C
I will say this. It's the same building. I'll give the Giants credit because once they turn this place green, it drops down about three notches.
A
There was very little atmosphere. We were talking about, like it's a Monday Night Football game. This is going to be great. The first quarter, even for the scoring, it just didn't have any vibe. It just was a regular. This game felt like it should have been played Sunday at 1. It got crazy at the end because the game got drunk and fans got to yell at refs.
C
But, yeah, hey, Aaron Rodgers lost. Good for him. And right now, the Bills, right now, the Bills still own the AFC East.
A
Yes.
C
So they got a long way to go. They got a lot to clean up. But they leave here at four two coming home to play the Titans and the jets are two and four and reeling.
B
Yeah. Our number one goal is to make the playoffs, and you do that by winning your division. So we understand the gravity of this type of game. Us being four two, a two and a half game lead with the head to head win, as opposed to being three and three and being second place. So big game for us in terms of where it stands in the grand scheme of things, though, it was the next one and that's why it was the most important.
A
Yeah. And I know sometimes. I know we've seen some comments, people saying they love the podcast, they love the videos, but we are kind of all over scatterbrained. Yeah, like that's a little bit of. We're trying to format things and go through the game, you know, chronologically, your most important things. My biggest takeaway was the defense once again made second half adjustments. They gave up 17 points in the first half. I know they got lucky with some missed field goals, but hey, you make your own luck. They made plays before those field goals that could have been touchdowns. They only allowed three points. In the second half. And I said it, I think on the pregame show or our live show that we did last week. This is a. This is the MO of Sean McDermott. He may give up some opening drive touchdowns. There's no panic. It's adjustments. It's. We'll figure things out and we'll make plays late. And I thought, I thought Terrell Bernard is so bleeping good.
C
So good.
A
And his intensity and his energy and his leadership for a young player really showed out tonight. When Tyler Bass missed the one kick, he's walking off the field. He's kind of can't believe it. And Bernard's the first one to stop him and say, like, we got you. Like, hey, we're going to make a play for you. Like that level of leadership. I thought it was again, for his chaos, for his penalties, for a time they felt lack of discipline. I felt like the Bills were the team of like, we're going to find some way to get it done tonight. And I like that.
C
I agree with you. And I don't think the jets are that kind of team. And this only makes it worse. For everything they're going through, too many penalties. Tyler Bass is a major problem for this team. And you have to figure out how to stop Hail Mary passes. It's absurd. It burned you before, it burned you today. They have to figure out a better way to play in those circumstances. Situational football, not great. Not great.
A
Not great, Bob.
C
But they won the game. And they're won.
A
Is going to be hungover for days.
C
Yeah. Yeah. A lot of celebrating. Not the fans, though. They're gone. They're already onto the Mets and Yankees.
A
Yeah.
C
They know this team is toast. Not really toast.
A
Garrett Wilson's pretty good. Yeah, I'll say that.
C
Yeah, he's a good player.
A
That made me think the Bills are one wide receiver away from being a really dynamic offense.
C
Yeah. Oh.
A
Because to see what Garrett Wilson, even Alan Lazard, what they can do in being dependable makes me realize that's not what the Bills have. Hats off to Kaloshi here for gutting it out. Made two catches, his only two passes that were thrown to him. I know he's not 100%, he's not.
C
Close to 100, but gutting it out.
A
There and just I think his presence and again, knowing where everybody stands in the pecking order, I think that was huge.
C

Buffalo Plus Podcast: Bills BEAT UP Jets in a PHYSICAL and FLAWED AFC East SHOWDOWN
Episode Date: October 15, 2024
Hosts: Mike Catalana, Dan Fetes, Jenna Cottrell
Game: Buffalo Bills vs. New York Jets
Final Score: (not specified in transcript, but Bills won)
This episode dissects the Buffalo Bills' gritty, chaotic, and penalty-laden victory over the New York Jets—a win that was as physical as it was flawed. The Buffalo Plus team breaks down everything from the avalanche of penalty flags to the emergence of Ray Davis in the run game, Josh Allen's leadership, special teams woes, and the ongoing concern with defending Hail Mary passes. The conversation is candid, energetic, and loaded with insider observations from both the field and the press box, illustrating the game's pivotal role in the AFC East standings.
With James Cook out, Ray Davis and Ty Johnson powered the Bills’ physical, run-based attack, especially on the opening drive.
The Bills’ formula: establish the run, play with edge, and let Josh Allen improvise with average receivers.
Physical dominance was a clear point of pride, especially given critique about the O-line’s toughness.
Dalton Kincaid’s physical play (shoulder-lowering hit) set a tone.
Allen’s performance oscillated between brilliance and near-disaster (turnover risk, trash talk, game-changing drives).
Allen’s leadership off the field was also highlighted (e.g., rallying O-line before first drive, keeping composure).
The defense, under Sean McDermott, adjusted in the second half—allowing only three points after a leaky first half.
Terrel Bernard’s leadership and intensity stood out.
Notable plays from Taylor Rapp and Demar Hamlin, especially a critical late-game hit.
