And I know most people are saying, I'm not really worried about that now. And you're right. You're not worried about the long term. I'm more.
Jenna Cotrell (0:06)
I'm worried about the short term.
Mike Catalana (0:07)
I'm more worried about the short term.
Dan Fates (0:08)
I'm worried about both. Now. From the Connors and Ferris podcast studio, this is the Buffalo plus podcast.
Jenna Cotrell (0:25)
All right, welcome back to the Buffalo plus podcast. Mike Catalana, Dan Fates, I am Jenna Cotrell. Please be sure to, like, comment, comment, subscribe and share. The gang is all back together. We are here in the Connors and Ferris podcast studio. A lot to talk about the NFL owners meetings out in Phoenix. We got to hear from Brandon Bean as well as Joe Brady. We're going to break down some of the things that they said about Dalton Kincaid, about Keon Coleman, about Brady and his relationship with Josh Allen. We're also going to do life advice as well. Coming up later on today. First things first. You want to interrupt me? So what do you want to say?
Dan Fates (1:00)
No, I was, I was going to crack a wise joke and be like, yeah, we haven't heard from Brady and Bean in a couple of days, so this is good to get to talk to them. Also, it's just the fact of, I think this is going to be a lengthy, very good pod. We haven't been together in a while. I think there's some things that we want to talk about. We've been mulling over topics. We were trying to put a little bit more of a cohesive podcast together.
Mike Catalana (1:29)
Jenna and I have always been trying
Dan Fates (1:31)
to do that,
Jenna Cotrell (1:34)
got a plan going. But no, that is. So the NFL owners meeting's going on and you're right. Like, I feel like we have heard so much from Joe Brady and Brandon Bean, especially this offseason with the moves made. And once again, they're talking about their plan, what they see, what they've done. What do you make of just how much we've heard from them and then some of the things that you did hear from, from this week?
Mike Catalana (1:58)
Well, let's start with how much we've heard from them. And look, it's their right. They've spoken at all the things that coaches and general managers normally speak at. Right. The end of the season, in his case, Joe Brady was the hiring now as head coach. And then you go to the combine and they speak there and they do the car wash and all that. That, that's the stuff that normally happens, I guess I'm a little surprised. They've been on so many other things Everybody knows Brandon Bean. Joe Brady has been around. I know he's now the head coach. I'm not exactly sure because the team does control this. I say control it along with the person. Like, if Joe didn't want to do it, I don't think they're forcing him to go, but I think they want him out there. I don't think there's anything wrong with having your coach out there. It's just, I don't know how many times with the national people, they can talk about some of the same things over and over again. There's only so much Joe Brady is going to be able to say. Yeah, like what your plan is. All that stuff sounds fine. We're not going to know a lot about Joe the head coach until Joe's actually coaching as a head coach. Like, we'll have the minicamps coming up and all. That was one thing. But then it's going to be coaching. So it's a little more than I expected.
