Look at that smile that he has, folks. It's most summer. He looks tanned, rested. Must have had a great weekend. I'm Sam Stein, managing at the Bork. This is another edition of your favorite show. Great way to start the week, Mega Mondays. I have a suspicion I told Will this that we might have our first hour long show today. There's just a lot to discuss, some truly inane dumb happening over the weekend. So buckle up. Get your cup of coffee ready. I've had two. Will you good?
B
Yeah, I'm good. I got my iced coffee loaded. I have it in a nice Bulwark mug.
A
Oh, that's great. So yeah, people can go and get Bulwark swag on our store. Will, are you wearing shorts today or no?
B
You know what? I changed right before we started. And you know, this raises a good point in the comments, you know, you were talking about me wearing shorts to the office and a lot of people were saying Sam is such an awful bully. Whatever. This is kind of a recurring. A recurring trope in the comments. And I was thinking about this and because I've never seen you as a bully, obviously we worked at two different outlets. You know, I've seen you as sort of a, you know, a presence in my life, certainly. But what I want to emphasize to folks is Sam is really one of the nicest editors I've ever had. Now, does that say something about Sam or this industry?
A
The industry. I tell people this. I only do this to the folks that I love. Right. Like, if I'm not kind of ragging you, I feel like you should be worried. If I am ragging you, you're doing a good job. And for the people in the commentary, comments like, look, I get it. I. I should be nicer. It's true. And I, And I'll. I'm working on it. I'm working on it. But, you know, it's just who I am.
B
Every episode. Will, you're genius. You've done it again.
A
Keep the comments coming. I do appreciate that. I'm going to try to dip in and out of the comments today because it's. It's more fun when I. When we interact. It's just hard to choose what to start with because so much happened this weekend. I'm gonna ask you, because we've talked about it a couple times, so I don't want to dwell too much on it, but one thing I haven't really gotten is how the Magaverse felt about Trump's truly awful, truly awful White House correspondence during speech. It's awful in a couple ways. One was it was just really, like, horrible humor, like just absolutely atrocious jokes. One, a couple of which he had to sort of explain, which is never a good thing. A couple of which he just sort of admonished his speech writers, which is also not a good thing. But then there was also just the nastiness of it, you know, being mean and awful to Caitlyn Collins. And we'll get to that in a little bit. Just being nasty to people in the room felt really uncomfortable. I wasn't there. Anyways. I've not seen if the owner, Benny Johnson's of the world, thought it was epic mic drop, but you would know.
B
Yeah, I mean, I think we're in this interesting position right now in MAGA media where. And we've talked about this before, but we're like, we're. When something bad happens to Trump or he flops or something, the majority of people just kind of ignore it. Like, they just won't engage with it. And they just are like, all right, what's the latest Lib freak out we can focus on instead. And I. I think we kind of saw something similar. You know, this one really snuck up on us. I remember last week where we're like, it's Friday. I feel like that was kind of the reaction. More broadly, I will say, the people like Benny Johnson, you're kind of like clip meisters. The guys who, anything that happens, they'll just be like, Trump just blew it out. Yeah, Benny Johnson, Eric, people like this, they claim to have loved it. You know, there was a lot of, like, people being like, just love him or hate him. Trump is the funniest president ever, ever. And then he gets on the mic, he's like, caitlyn Collins is trans. I don't know.
A
It was not funny. I watched it in its entirety. I kept waiting for it to end. It just felt like it just kept going and he was kind of melting a little bit up there. And then, you know, after it's all done, I just, you know, I felt kind of like, weird I was talking to Edgar about this. And again, we don't have to dwell on this because we've dealt on a lot. Part of me was like, the story here is that his jokes were just so bad, but part of me was like, the story here is that he actually got on the deus. And the people in the, in. In the White House Correspondence association dinner, obviously, they, they, you know, you invite the guys of formality, but like to invite this guy who's subpoenaed your records, who sued you for $20 billion in defamation, who just spent his entire 60 minutes kind of trying to tort you in your profession feel like it was
B
necessary sending Justice Department lawyers to the homes of New York Times reporters, relatives. I mean, it. All these crazy things that. Yeah, I mean, I, I think it's kind of at a. A pivot moment. I mean, for whether they do this again in the future.
A
You can do the dinner and you don't have to invite the guy. I mean, I understand you cover him and you want to keep the sort of formality of it, and you want to make sure that you're under, you know, underscoring the importance of the relationship between the president and the press that covers him, that it is adversarial, but ultimately it's part of our fabric. And yet it felt a little off. Got a lot. Not gonna lie. All right, let's get to it, Laura.
B
Let's get to the meat of it.
A
Yeah, this is the real me. So, Laura Loomer, and I know you're writing about this, and people should subscribe, obviously, to the Bulwark. It's a great. Hey, we have a 14 day free trial run, so subscribe now. What a deal. What is. What's going on with her? She's been in Ukraine. She interviewed Zelinsky. She's done this kind of. 180 people are trying to divine whether it's real or not and how real it is and whether she's being paid. Like, what is actually going on with Luma right now.
B
You know, it's very interesting. As a noted Lumerologist, even I don't have.
A
Maybe, maybe the foremost. You might Be the foremost lumero.
B
Yes. I've got the scars to prove it. You know, the. Yeah, there's so. Right. So as you said, so Loomer has done a complete 180. You know, earlier last week, she was suddenly becoming very pro Ukraine to the extent of even later in the week going to Ukraine meeting with Zelinsky. You know, she's been embraced, such as it is by like the Ukrainian government. She's doing, I mean, she's doing like kind of the classic, like 2022 guys who are like NATO super fans. Things like, I'm going to the McDonald's. Like, NATO is, you know, Ukraine is Western. So it's interesting. Now, look, we have to put on the table here. We don't know if any money has changed hands. Laura has a. Has a history, I would say, regarding like, Venezuelan oil exports of taking weird stances. And I think there's a lot of evidence that she was paid for in the Venezuela case, on the other hand. So let's put that aside. That may or may not be true. Well, sure, but I think there's also possibly an ideological, like a real ideological backing here, which is that kind of funny here, that, like, the Ukraine is kind of the second effect for her versus the MAGA civil war. But I think what happened here is she's seeing Candace and Tucker align with Russia sort of with Iran against Israel, and she is naturally seeing Ukraine, you know, Ukraine is enemies with Russia and they're helping, you know, Russia's helping Iran. So I think these lines are kind of becoming firmer in terms of this kind of broader regional, multi regional war. And I think that's why Laura's embracing Ukraine.
A
So your, your interpretation here is that this has nothing to do with actual geopolitical worldviews or some sort of philosophical awakening on what's happening with Ukraine and Russia. It's literally just if Candace and Tucker are for this, I have to be for that.
B
I think increasingly she's realizing that, like. Yeah, I think that's right. I mean, I think the root here is basically Tucker and Candace going to Russia now. You know, also, I mean, it is true that Russia is helping Iran. And Laura's main thing, along with devotion to Trump is Israel. And I think, you know, interestingly, over the weekend, Ukraine attacked a Iranian tanker, which was sort of a new. A new provocation or new attack for them because it's, you know, it's linked to Russia. It was carrying Russian oil. So I think Zelensky is also playing into this idea of like, we're kind of part of this, like, Israel, Trump alliance. This is all the same conflict. And so I don't know if, if there is money changing hands that might be involved here, but she addressed the
A
idea that she's being paid.
B
She said, I have donors, but I am not being paid by the Ukrainian government. And this is sort of, it's a little fuzzy. You know, I'm waiting to hear back from her to kind of nail that down. Basically, I think her claim is like, I'm not being paid to go to Ukraine. I, maybe my activities in general are funded. You know, it.
A
That's. I gotta be honest. I have donors, but they're not. The Ukrainian government immediately makes me think they're donors that are close to the Ukrainian government, but not in the Ukrainian government.
B
But, you know, I, I will say this also, historically, when Laura, I mean, maybe I'm being naive here. I kind of think she's not being paid, if I had to guess. I also, it's very possible. But, but I think Trump, I mean, look, Trump is retweeting her posts about Zelensky. He's saying, like, he's become very pro Ukraine recently. So, so I think there's a lot, you know, non monetary stuff pushing her towards Ukraine. You know, if she's kind of just following Trump's lead.
A
She was pretty jazzed about Trump retweeting her post about Zelensky. How do you think that even happened?
B
Look, I mean, Trump loves Laura Loomer, and that is the reason she's still with us. I mean, he, he might just.
A
I mean, do you literally think she was like, hey, mister.
B
Like, she texted him like, hey, I'm hanging with Zelensky. And he said, okay, 100 more Patriot missiles to Ukraine. I mean, stranger things have happened.
A
That's truly strange. I did see the picture of her outside of McDonald's in Kiev, where, like, everything else is exploded and she's just eaten like a Big Mac or something.
B
She's become kind of like one of these. She's, she's sort of posing as like, you know, in like the Bosnia War, you would have these, like, European intellectuals visit Sarajevo. These kind of like Bernard Henri Levy, these kind of like Continentals, and they're kind of like amid the war zone because she's saying, you know, I don't normally get a hamburger, but I guess in this case I'll make an exception. She is exactly.
A
I'm pretty sure that's a Big Mac. Maybe it's a double. No, that's, that's the Is that the Big Mac? No, it's a little thin.
B
It's a weird situation.
A
She's bigger.
B
You know, I do have another, another take on the.
A
Keep that up. I'm studying this. You talk.
B
Go ahead. My other take on like the money aspect here is like, historically, when she's gotten herself in these paid allegedly.
A
I just. For people who are listening and not watching, I just need to describe this shot. It. She's got a, a Big Mac or a cheeseburger in her left hand. Nice red nails. She's eating a fry hold held in her right hand. Very nice. Pinky up. She's got what looks to be a large drink, but that could be coffee. I don't know if that's a soda. There's a bag on a table and then in the backdrop is just an absolute bombed up building. And it just feels, I don't know, it feels amazing, to be honest.
B
It's like, look at this photo of the year.
A
Incredible photo. Laura, great job.
B
Yeah, it's, it's interesting and she's kind of affecting a new look here. The final thing I would say about the, the money. Money aspect is, you know, she was probably, if you believe that she was paid about the Venezuelan oil thing or some other things, I don't know, tens of thousands of dollars for that. She just sent a couple tweets now in this case to pay her to go to Ukraine to take, like to, you know, it's such a more prominent pivot of her stance. I'm curious. She's also fallen out with a lot of people on the, on the right who are her old buddies. Alex. Well, thank you. I'm going to. Alex Jones has been very critical of her there. You know, that's like her, her uncle, essentially. And all these people are saying, you know, Laura has become a patsy for the globalists.
A
I guess the other side of the coin is Zelinsky and the decision that he made to sit down with Loomer, which I think is pretty savvy, honestly. He knows exactly how this stuff works. He knows who actually has influence. He could have sat down with like, I don't know, David Sanger, maybe he has, or anyone really, but he's like, you know what the power center is? Loomer.
B
Yeah. I mean, I, it's pretty smart. I mean, maybe they read these articles about how like, you know, Laura Loomer, you know, can, you know, maybe if you get a pardon. Maybe he read that article where Jacob Wool said, you know, Laura Loomer handles the Jewish pardons. And he said, you know what? Like, this is a lady with Trump's ear for real.
A
Now, if you think this was just a normal interview, rest assured, Loomer definitely had her Lumerish moments. We're gonna play one where she asks Zielinski about whether he was doing coke with Macron. Let's play that.
B
There's a photo I'm sure you saw
A
in a video, and it was highly amplified by Russia.
B
Today.
A
It's you and Macron hanging out in some back room and they said that you were all doing cocaine. So true or false?
B
Were you doing cocaine with Macron or were you not?
A
Of course. Never. Of course not. What a question. First of all, whatever. If he wants to do Coco McCrone, go for it, buddy. You've been doing this, you've been in the war for a while. I feel like you deserve a break. Maybe a little line of coke can help you out. But that's pretty ridiculous line of questioning.
B
Yeah, I mean, you can see on his face there. It's sort of like, all right, year four of the war and it's come, it's come to this. I have to. The things I do for my armaments. Yes.
A
I mean, it's truly incredible. Tim Pool also weighed in. I just want to clarify this because Tim Pool tweeted something that got a lot of people, including myself, thinking, wow, this is like a full on, like, courtship of the Maga rep by Zielinski. Poole said he, you know, he also, he hinted that he was also now supportive of Ukraine and that he realized that they're just fighting for their sovereignty and their integrity and their freedom to live. But you quickly snuffed it out and told me to show.
B
I didn't even. Yeah, there was a lot of. Yeah. So Tim Pool tweeted, you know, oh, wow, I've, you know, the scales have fallen from my eyes. I've learned all about Ukraine, whatever. I, I didn't even bother, you know, I. People were, There was a lot of people tweeting, oh, there's money washing around here. They even got Tim Pool, who famously, of course, was paid by the Russian government previously. You know, I, Tim Pool loves to troll like this. He loves to tweet these things that are, like, you know, there's some, like, Trump Kofei level scandal. And he'll tweet like, Trump is over. I hate the Cheeto. And people will go, oh, my God, Trump's lost Tim Pool. So this happens all the time. So again, I, I knew this was fake and I, I appreciated you Calling me to apologize and. And. And recognizing that.
A
Yeah, just. I think we should dwell on this for a second, because everyone assumes I'm a horrible boss. I. I told Will to check it out. I was like, I think this is real. I think something big's happening here. Will was like, sam, you idiot, this is just Tim Pool doing his Timpool thing. He likes to troll. I was like, I don't know, man. This seems real. And then we went back and forth. I was like, look, just call Tim Pool. Figure, try to get in contact with him. And then it turned out to be fake. And, you know, I'm. I'm a magnanimous boss. I. I admit when I'm wrong. Doesn't happen that often, but I do admit when I'm wrong. And I called Will up and I said, hey, I'm not calling for anything other than to apologize. You were right, and I was wrong, and I just felt like I was the better man in that moment for
B
acknowledging at last the apology I've been waiting for. Well, you know, it's funny. I. When I do my reporting, I have to be aware that the people I'm contacting will often screenshot it and post it and be like, look at this dumbass reporter. Whatever. So I have to kind of, like, phrase my things correctly. And so I think in this one, I may or had considered emailing and saying, I know you're trolling, but my colleagues are insisting I reach out to you.
A
You should have said, my boss, Sam Stein, that dumb moron. Please share this tweet with the public. By the way, breaking news. Vladimir Zelensky will go to the White House on Tuesday. A White House official confirms to Axios. So this is all coming to a head. I guess. We. To your larger point, we kind of are in this. And now these go back and forth. Trump always is like, pro Ukraine, anti Ukraine, pro Russia, skeptical of Russia. Not really. But I guess we're in this swoon here where it's like, yeah, yeah, after
B
all the war and everything now I
A
thought we were supposed to have this whole thing resolved in 24 hours. By the way, why are we still. Why is this war still happening?
B
You know what? Solve this thing, Vladimir. I thought you were caught up in this whole coke scandal. Laura, set me straight. You know, come on. By the White House.
A
All right, well, let's move on, because we have so many other topics. But that's a good, good starting point. The next one really broke my brain, honestly. I thought. I hadn't really watched it until this morning. And then I watched it and it's got to be one of the dumbest things I've ever seen from Joe Rogan and his guests. And I guess part of this maybe is. Is about the Odyssey. I don't know. You see. Have you seen the Odyssey yet or no?
B
No, I haven't.
A
I saw it on Friday. It's really good. It's honestly really good. Anyways, there's a part of the inland. If you have. If you have not read the Odyssey or seen the movie. There is a island where they encounter giants. And everyone's talking about these giants. If you've been online, you know that these are not CGI giants. Nolan actually got seven foot tall actors to play giants and all. Whatever giants are in. Giants are in the news. Okay. I don't know if this has any relation to what Rogan was up to, but Rogan had a guest on. And the. The video came out on Friday and There's like a 14 minute segment where this dude just talks about how we secretly discovered giants in Afghanistan. And I swear to God, I watched it and I felt my brain melting. I felt, I felt it melting. I'm just gonna set it up and we'll watch a video and then you're gonna explain it. But this guy is talking, he's got this riff going. He's like, oh, my God. They, we sent like the military into Afghanistan and then these pilots, you know, they uncovered this giant. He's like, you know, they, they somehow captured this guy and they brought him on a plane and they told me they're hitting him with their fists and this guy's solid as a rock. And they're asking the Marines what happen this guy come from? This is huge. This is crazy. Now let's play the video of this guy talking about stupid ass giants in Afghanistan.
B
There was a team that was out in Afghanistan that was looking for Taliban or something, and they came upon a cave because there was a nearby village
A
and the villagers were.
B
Were bringing food and other artifacts to
A
the mouth of this cave.
B
And so they thought that they're aiding and abetting the Taliban. So they went into the cave and rather than encountering the Taliban, what they found was this enormous humanoid who killed them all.
A
Wow. I mean, what the hell? This guy is Timothy Albarino. Who is he?
B
Yeah. So this guy is like a UFO general kind of cryptids disclosure, you know, he's got a lot of tall tales, let's say. Or maybe literally this case. Literally, yeah. So this story goes on and on, and so basically what he's saying here is, as you said, so you know, they capture. This is. This is a popular urban myth called the Giant of Kandahar. Now, I've seen this fellow before. Can we throw up that other picture of the giant. Giant of Kandahar. This is a. There he is. There he is. So. So this is kind of a pop. You ever seen this one online, Sam?
A
I have not.
B
So there he is. I guess those are the marines. Okay, well, take him down. He's scary. So basically, as you. As you said. So they see the villagers bringing trinkets, tributes to the cave. Oh, it's probably a mullah hiding in there. They go in, the team gets wiped out. Eventually the US kills the giant, transports him back to the US and he's like 10 foot tall. So a lot smaller, by the way, than that picture that accompanied the Rogan clip.
A
The one that a Kameron clip. He's like 40 or 50ft. Yeah, he's like, you're not going to get that one on the plane, buddy. Like, that seems impossible.
B
So, so then basically this guy then kind of relates his story of like hearing this rumor and he'll talk to like a general or something. He'll be like, what do you know about the Giant of Kandahar? And the guy's like, shut up. You know, my phone is spying on me. Like, we can't discuss the giant or people are like, you'll be killed if you talk about the giant. Now why couldn't we talk about the giant? I don't know. I, I don't think it's like a closely held secret. But that is the Giant of Kandar. What do you think?
A
I don't think it's real.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. I'm just gonna throw on my skeptic hat. I feel like that's one of these things that, like, if you, if you had a big giant and you put it on a plane, probably would have seen a picture of it. It's like, you don't need to keep that one secret. This isn't a ufo. If it's a giant, it's a giant. Like, what's the big deal? Like, I mean, it's freaky and everything, but I'm not like, sure we need to have government secrets over that. Like, I, I would take a picture. I would like some proof. I don't know.
B
Yeah, I, I think you're right. And you know, well, some of this, I think believe this guy is also like a Nephilim guy.
A
What the hell's that?
B
Okay, honestly, what is that Nephilim and. And other folks may know more about this than I do, but I think it's the idea of, like, angels or aliens who are kind of like this superior race called the Nephilim. And so I think the idea is that the giants might be Nephilim, and if we knew about it, then we would know far more about the origins of humanity or the universe.
A
I'm looking at his bio. There's not much. I mean, he's obviously a kook. It says that he is an author, lecturer, and explorer whose work bridges the gap between history, mythology, and biblical scholarship. His best selling book, Birthright, has garnered widespread acclaim, offering a revolutionary perspective on the biblical narrative that resonates in the age of artificial intelligence, transhumanism, and increasing disclosures of alien presence. His research interests are broad and global in scope. That's clear. He has traveled extensively investigating theories and alternative history, the mystery of megalithic builders, the legends of ancient giants, and various facets of UFO phenomenon. How does he have this? I mean, I guess I understand people are into this, but, like, does Rogan not, like, is Rogan into this? Does Ro. Is Rogan, like, a believer? Why does he platform these people?
B
Rogan loves this stuff. And one thing that was interesting to me as I was reading the comments on this episode as I was watching it, and this is what the Rogan audience wants. They want this a lot more than J.D. vance. Like, you know, they were like, yes, finally, a lunatic. I mean, this is sort of. This is what the. The audience craves. And, you know, Rogan's really been on a run. I think it was just this last week again, he had another guy on who said that, like, I believe, kind of like a. A centric archaeologist who said that if you look at hieroglyphics that will. That will emit like, an energy, like a healing energy into your body. And Rogan's producer, Rogan's like, hey, Jamie, you know, look up if that's true. And the producer's like, I can just tell you right now that's not true. And that Rogan got a little offended.
A
Yeah, Rogan was mad at his. His producer Jamie for laughing at the guy, but it's like, obviously not true because they're literally looking at the hieroglyphics on the screen. Feel it? I feel it. Oh, my God.
B
Anyway, before we move on, can I. Can I look at the psychological underpinnings of the Giant of Kandahar?
A
Oh, I'm not moving on. I think we got to do another 5 to 10 on this.
B
So I was thinking about this. And so this idea has been with us as a country for a while. The. The giant of Kandahar. And it makes me think that, like, because the US Suffered what I think in some ways was an inexplicable defeat in Afghanistan. Like, you might say, like, we're the strongest military in the world. How could the Taliban beat us? That there is sort of this desire for another explanation that perhaps a giant was involved.
A
Wait, they think, is there. Is there a theory that the reason we didn't succeed in Afghanistan is because we secretly encountered giants who repelled us and that we. No one ever talked about it.
B
I'm starting that theory now. But. But I think. But I think it just speaks to a larger. I don't think it's quite as coherent as that. But I think this idea that, like, there's some inexplicable third element we couldn't account for, you know, that. That. That caused our defeat.
A
Yeah. I guess the question is, why are they in Afghanistan?
B
It's an ancient land.
A
Maybe there's other ancient lands.
B
Those giant Buddhas that the Taliban blew up, Big caves. And then also keep in mind, the cave thing also ties back to the war on terror thing about Osama bin Laden, you know, having those crazy caves that people thought he had, like, a whole city under in the cave.
A
Why do the giants have to live in caves?
B
Good question. Why can't they just walk amongst us?
A
Why can't they roam? I mean, they obviously are bigger and better than us. They can kill us. Shouldn't they just conquer us?
B
Like, maybe we should have this guy on our pod and get to the bottom of it.
A
I don't know. I feel like he'll. I feel like he's, like, well versed in this and that he has answers for any question that I could possibly ask. But it does seem a little bit weird that of all the places you're a giant, let's say you're a giant and you can just, like, you know, rock solid, according to this guide, like, impenetrable. And you can just spear anyone and. And you're just awesome. Like, I wouldn't spend my time in caves in Afghanistan. I kind of go and, like, hang out somewhere cool. That.
B
That a cave is the last place a giant should want to live.
A
Right. Like, I. I'd go hang out on, like, the Amalfi coast and just kind of, like, chill in the water and just be like, give me some pasta. I'm hungry, you know? Like, why? What do you eat? You're a giant in a cave in Afghanistan. What are you eating? How are you getting your sustenance?
B
It's a good question. Lambs.
A
But there can't be that many lambs up there. No. In the, in the, in the mountains of Afghanistan, you're hungry.
B
You know, I don't think this guy got to the bottom of that aspect. He seemed to be sort of just, just have figured out the existence of the giants again, though.
A
How are they staying alive in those caves? Like, there's not much to do, there's not much to eat. And you think when the, when the, when the US Soldiers kind of stumbled on them, they're like, whoa, whoa, what are these? We haven't seen humans in a while. Is that what happened?
B
Well, I think he's supposed to be in league somehow with the Taliban or something like that.
A
Oh, they're part of the Taliban.
B
Or maybe there's a symbiotic relationship.
A
Yeah. How do the giants. Someone's asking, how do the giants feel about, like, capitalism? How do they vote? Like, are they like Republicans or Democrats?
B
You know, based on this, I'm going to assume that they're Republicans.
A
Why?
B
It's kind of like, you know, he's kind of living off the off grid. You know, he's got his compound.
A
Yeah, but this is the horseshoe theory of politics. Maybe they, maybe they're sort of anti government, but like, you know, they, they appreciate a good social safety net. I don't know. I think we need more research from our friend Timothy.
B
Yeah. Despite this is like a 40 minute clip that we cut down. It's just like a lot of stories of him being like, Then I was at this other gala and this general's wife again said, don't talk about the giant.
A
How do they get these things on the plane? Did he explain that?
B
I mean, it's 10ft tall, right? I mean, so it's not like 100.
A
Okay. Okay, so you can get on the plane. Yeah, but they killed the giant and then even though it was dead, the body was rock solid.
B
You know, I, I will say, this guy talks about it kind of like you and I are like, he's like, Joe Rogan will be like, interesting. They took it to that one military base. A lot of shady stuff goes. Yeah, yeah, I guess so. Yeah. That,
A
yeah, that actually raises another question. So they take it to a military base in Qatar and no one says anything. Do you think the government of Qatar is like, hey, no giants here, please. Like, I don't. We don't we don't want that here. That. That's too much. Yeah. Someone else asked like, why can't has an NBA scout like gone out there looking for these guys?
B
Smart. Can the Nephilim. Nephilim Basketball Association.
A

B
That explains that the villagers were bringing them Tempo meals and that's how j heat onto it.
A
So stupid. The Giants gave up their location because they're ordering temple meals.
B
I got the promo code and everything.
A
Dumb. Come on. Giants. All right. Segueing from people who are really tall to the people who need height. Inserts to why don't you take this one? Because someone in the comments Timothy Plath path says Sam, you're doing it again. Let the man talk. Stop interrupting. Timothy. Timothy. I'm more a lot of critics out there in the comments. I'm too mean. I interrupt too much. This I'm Just gonna shut up and let Will speak about his boy, his hero. Really?
B
Yes. Okay, folks, Clavicular is back from Israel, but it's out of the frying pan into the fire, I fear. So then I have to give a shout out to the. The Bulwark subreddit, where I was just cruising and someone said, I can't wait to see this on maga Monday. So here's the deal. Clavicular had a bit of a scuffle at a Miami nightclub. Now, this is obviously a common issue for clavicular, but there's an interesting fight video. Essentially, the backstory here is a little unclear to me. You know, some people say I had to check out, like, the clavicular fan forums or whatever. He supposedly smacked a guy. You know, a lot of people kind of try to challenge Clavicular at the club. And to be frank, he kind of, you know, he's not the nicest himself. So this fight spills out to the parking lot where two guys who I believe are security guards try to apprehend Clavicular and Drago. Drago, his associate. And now, this is kind of a crazy fight, but I just want to show. Let's look at just a little clip of. Now, Clavicular is fake, facing off against a guy who has, you know, serious male pattern baldness here. He's. He's what? And look, and this is important, right, because in the looksmaxer community that clavicular is a part of, they, like, place a lot of importance on your hair. And so they know every aspect of, you know, the Norwood scale. So that's like how advanced your hair receding is. So let's take a look here at how clavicular faces off against this middle aged man, presumably Clavicular, who loves steroids, who loves looking buff. Presumably he'll win this fight, right? There's Clavicular. Oh, there's a bald guy. Oh, Clavicular. He's got him down. He's got him down.
A
The ball guy has. Holding Clavicular down.
B
Pinned him.
A
Hold on. Keep it up there. Keep there. That guy definitely is balding. You can tell right there. And clavicular does not have a shirt on.
B
Clavicular does not have a shirt on in the background. The guy in the black shirt is Drago. Other guy's a security guard. Now, the reason we cut this clip is because it goes on for like five minutes. Drago turns out to speak fluent Spanish, so he's just like, very eloquently insulting these security guards in Spanish and dancing around Clavicular. What's interesting is Clavicular is completely prone in a headlock this entire time. The bald guy has him just completely defeated. Clicular is not trying to get up, even as his boy is, like, trying to take on both security guards at once. Eventually a cop shows up just like the. No urgency. What are these four buffoons doing? And he's like, all right, fellas, all right. So that is.
A
I have to ask, what again was this fight about?
B
Supposedly Clavicular hit a guy in the club. I'm seeing that. It's like, unclear if that's really what happened. Clavicular is kind of on the ascension again. He got his kind of power publicist back. He lost him after the overdose. You know, I think his stock is on the rise again, but I don't know. I think this is not good for him. And let's talk about that because let's go to some of these tweets. People did not like Clavicular losing this fight. So people like, yeah, okay. So this all starts with this British looks maxer and influencer named H. Sticky Taki. He's kind of like one of these Miami nightmare guys. He says, like, Clavicular, you're such a loser. This bald guy tackled you, no problem. And then Clavicular said, and we have to remember, Clavicular wears little. Little inserts in his heels. So he's taller, right? So he says. So to people making fun of him for losing. This guy probably 20 years older than him, he says, I'd like to anyone. He's essentially saying, I'd like to see anyone hating to try to have the leverage required to wrestle while wearing 3 inches height inserts. We aren't playing the same game. So he's saying, you might think I didn't do well, but keep in mind, I'm essentially wearing high heels.
A
To which Jake Shields.
B
Jake Shields, MMA Nick Fuentes, you know, affiliate or maybe hater. I don't know. It's kind of hard to keep track. He says this has to be one of the biggest aura drops in history. Gets his ass beat by a man three times his age and blames it on the fact that he was wearing high heels.
A
You gotta be honest, I think Jake Shields is right. It's pretty big. Also, if. Can we just put back up the fight video? I just want to look at that one more time because I think people stop, okay, this is Jess. He just takes him down. So why can we. Do we know why? Clavicular was out without a shirt? Did that, like, come Off.
B
You know, I think it's because I think they were about to fight. By the end of this Drake.
A
So he just took his shirt off. He's like, come at me.
B
Yeah. Kind of like there's like an iconic Vanderpump rules fight about that. I think that happened a couple times on the Jersey Shore. By the end of this, Drago will get his shirt off as well. And so I think that's really, like, why? Because I think they're like, you know, fine, fine, we'll fight for real. Like, I think also, like, there's just a lot of grappling, so I think maybe some shirts get pulled off.
A
Okay. People in the comments, not homoerotic at all.
B
Don't worry about it.
A
Yeah.
B
I was gonna say, are they just
A
gonna make out in the parking lot? Right on the concrete? They just start kissing, which is fine. I would be fine with that. People in the comment section are noticing how tight Clavicular's white pants are.
B
I will.
A
They are. They are really tight. And I. I thought we were in a phase, and again, this just exposes how dumb I am at fashion, but I thought we were in sort of a baggier pants phase.
B
We are.
A
Joe Perdicone, who knows this stuff, told me that. So.
B
Yeah, well, you know, that's what's going down on menswear slack here at the Bulwark, you know, our little menswear chat room.
A
I'm not in that.
B
Yeah, it's real. It's real. I found out about it recently, and I was like, oh, it's invite only. How interesting. And so I kind of barged my way in. But we do have some real fashion pieces here. You're right. I think this is, I guess, Dera Gore at the Miami nightclub still. Possibly.
A
Okay.
B
You know, that's. There's a lot of kind of like, tight polos going on, but it is truly incredible. This guy just absolutely dominates clavicular. And then when he gets up, he does look like a guy you might see at your kids soccer game or something.
A
Yeah, the hair. So what is called the Norwood hair?
B
Yeah, the Norwood scale. It's sort of like there's, you know, it's sort of what? There's like a chart. It shows how.
A
Oh, yeah, I'm looking at the chart now. Yeah. And I'm trying to figure out where this guy is in the Norwood.
B
So they would say something like clavicular.
A
Yeah, he's like a 5A. I think if we want to pull up that. I'm gonna see if I Can get them the Norwood scale. Let's pull it up if we can. You talk while they get the Norwegian.
B
So, yeah, someone was like, you know, these, he, he got conk, ground control, mogged by a Norwood maxer, stuff like that.
A
He's not maxing, he's not a Norwood maxer. He, but he's definitely heading there. He's gonna be, he's this guy who's just throwing clavica to the ground. If we can get this up, I think he's at a 5A. Yeah, he's at a 5A. There it is. Yeah, that's a 5A guy on the Norwood scale. I mean, whatever. He's not a seven, but I think he probably would benefit from having a little bit of a trim and just going full bald.
B
I think so. Yeah. So, you know, I will say, apparently, I don't think clavicular was arrested here. I don't think he's facing charges. I think the, the challenge here, it's hard to pick a good guy. In this case, obviously, Clavicular, he's been known to do bad things. On the other hand, so have Miami nightclub bouncers. So I, you know, I, I, you know, not rooting for either side here.
A
Is clavicular gonna, like, get his together? Because every week we're, he's in some sort of trouble and like hanging out with Israeli mafia, you know, passing out from overdoses. I mean, I guess the most normal thing we talked about was him going on Hannity and talking about how important the face is, texting, but like, get buddy.
B
I, I agree. I, I, you know, like I said, I think he's getting it together. I, you know, I want to address the commenters who ask why clavicular is relevant. Number one, he's funny, okay? Like, he's associated with the Israeli mafia, all this stuff. Number two, he is a big right wing media figure, as you said, he was on Hannity last week. You know, and so this is a guy he speaks to. Gen Z, gen alpha, anomie. Right. And so I think we have to keep track of him even if, you know, you're not doing the bone smashing yourself.
A
Yeah, I think that's fair. We thought, you know, the first piece we ever wrote about clavicular, which you did after he had that big moment over the weekend, one weekend, where he's like getting mogged by some Arizona state frat guy. Like, I did ask you, like, why do we care about this guy? And I believe we were, we said just that. It's like, you know, when you have this many followers and you're setting the sort of cultural zeitgeist for this many people. Like, you matter. I'm sorry, why do we care about Laura Loomer? Because she matters. Right. Like, this is the whole point of the show.
B
To Ukraine, maybe.
A
That would be a real merging. Or just to Afghanistan to hang with the Giants. It's gonna need a little bit more than 3 inches on the heel edge after that. All right, since people are, like, too much clavicular, let's move on to Cash. This one was really hilarious to me. Cash. You know, Cash put out a big video after the World cup finish where he was just like, I did it. I did it. I. I managed to keep you safe, America, during this World Cup. And then everyone's sort of like, yo, you don't need to take a victory lap. That's just the job. Like, you don't need to pat yourself on the bat. And I guess they took that feedback and decided, you know what? We just didn't do it in animated form. That was the problem. So why don't you set up what happened from Cash this weekend?
B
Yeah, so Cash put out a video that's very similar, as you said, to the last video, but it sort of just like, spikes the football. Not just on the. The World cup, but also, you know, on going back to, like, November. Like, I was like, oh, we did such a great job at the Formula one race. Or, you know, all these different races. It's. It's very strange, and it's kind of like comic book superhero. Cash.
A
All right, we're gonna play it, but we have to mute it. The reason we have to mute is because they use a song that we can't use for copyright, and I'm shocked that they got to use it. I'm sure they're going to get a cease and desist at some point. But let's play it with the mute on so that people can see what we're dealing with. And then we'll play a seven second portion of it without. With the volume, but first with no volume. So as you can see here, we got a. Oh, there's Cash in comic form. We're looking really good in that. Yeah, you had the FIFA World Cup, FBI agents. Oh, look, they're storming some up. They're at a baseball game. I believe it's the All Star game. They're talking about how they secured all these sporting events. Talk about how they secured the Grand Prix in Las Vegas, the UFC fight at the White House, the Kentucky Derby. We all. This is in cartoon form. The Olympics, the Winter Olympics, the World cup. There's the U. S. Hockey team, FBI. There's a map. There's some FBI agents looking tough. They're walking some field up on the phone. There's cash. More FBI agents. Helicopters over some sporting event. Again in cartoon form. Either at an airport, they're at some parade in D.C. oh, it's America. 250. Soccer. Soccer. All sporting events. Just soccer. More soccer. The fireworks. 250. Soccer. There we go. Okay, we. We get the gist. We can pause it. Let's play the. Let's play it with the sound now. Seven seconds is all we can do. Let's play it so you can hear actually how it sounds or not.
B
It's okay.
A
All right, well, we'll talk about it till we get the clip ready.
B
Patel.
A
The FBI is always ready, always watching and always on guard. Okay, so that's what sounds. You can dance if you want to. There is a portion where they do feature the US Women, The US Men's hockey team, who won, famously. And then. But they did. There it is. So they have this. They did not do a cartoon depiction of cash in the law. I was hoping they would get that cash in the locker room. Just absolutely chugging beers would have been a fun cartoon.
B
Yes. The. Maybe they could have included the random, like, minor league wrestling match his girlfriend sang at. I don't think there was an incident there. You know, it's. It's. It's weird because, you know, look, obviously it's a big undertaking, keeping all these events safe, but also, like, we've had all these things in the past, and they were kept. Kept safe. And I don't remember the FBI putting out the FBI director just like, James Comey being like, yes, I did it.
A
Yeah, exactly.
B
It is.
A
It is a little bit of trying too hard.
B
Director Patel watches over the nation. Wow. A little ominous.
A
Jesus. Yeah. And look, I love that they're cheering. They're all cheering him and looking at him as he's just standing there. He's the last line of defense. You'll die without him. It is. It is a little bit like, again, when you think of everything as an influencer and you're. You. You are an influencer. Like, obviously, you're going to focus on content creation. And this is. But this to, like, reduce yourself to a comic does feel a little bit too on the nose.
B
I. Yeah, I agree. It's. It's truly weird. I mean, we made fun of the video last time, and so we really. I mean, I feel like it's even worse to make yourself a. Like a cartoon character or a superhero.
A
Yeah. And yet he probably just taken a cue from his boss, the President, because Donald Trump over the weekend mostly yesterday, went on a posting rampage. Now, I know this is sort of like, ah, that's just doggy, you know, dog bites, man, at this point. But I can't just get over the fact that our president is, I don't know, addicted to AI and posting about, like, dumb AI photos. We have a montage or a collage of them, I should say. Here you go. I mean, this was all from yesterday. You can see some of these are videos, and we just do screenshots of them. They're all AI, Obviously. The one on the far right is him pulling George Washington up the side of Mount Rushmore. I'm not sure, like, what. What the point of that one was. The one on the top left is him talking with John F. Kennedy. There is some AI conversation that they have in that weirdly posted video. There's the Cosmic Commander. There's one where he makes fun of Jerry Nadler and Chris Christie for being overweight, which he loves making fun of people for being overweight. He did it at the White House Correspondence association dinner. There's one where he says, give the enemy nightmares. And then the last one I'm going to save, and we could talk about in a little bit. But what did you make of this AI explosion from the Trump feed?
B
It's weird. I mean, he loves this stuff.
A
I.
B
You know, I can't recall the exact incident, but, I mean, he's. I feel like, you know, it's like Bill Pulte, right? He put the Jesus. The Trump is Jesus thing in front of him. But Trump goes, great. I love it. Throw it up. He had one that was like, attack on Karg island, you know, and it's like, you know, you can't do the AI thing if you haven't done it, man. Like, or, you know, you don't seem to be ready to do it. I mean, he. He loves it. You know, I will say he also posted a video about Morocco building a highway in the occupied Western Sahara region and naming it after Trump. You know, I used to be very involved in sort of pro Western Saharan activism, so I was sad to see that Morocco has wisely cottoned on to the idea that they should, you know, just name things after Trump and he'll support it.
A
So that's real. They are doing the highway.
B
I think the highway is real. Yeah. I mean, I, I, as far as I can tell, I mean, it, it certainly the video, it sort of seemed like a video that was shown to Trump by maybe pro Moroccan lobbyists or diplomats to kind of win him over.
A
And they did name it after Trump. And frankly, probably smart because now he's gonna like, throw a bunch of money at and be like, ah, look at this, the Trump freeway across Africa. But that's how gets done in the modern day and age. You bring Laura Loomer to talk to you about snorting Coco McCrone and you name a highway in Sub Saharan Africa after Donald Trump and voila, you get it. I wanted to just spotlight the Caitlyn Collins post there. So that's Kane Collins of cnn. It's her head on Dylan Mulvaney's body. Everyone probably recognizes. This is the ad that Dylan Mulvaney did for Bud Light that became highly controversial just because Dylan Mulvaney is trans. And it sparked massive backlash against Bud Light by maga. Trump made a joke about Kaitlan Collins during the White House correspondence dinner. It wasn't a joke. It was just lobbing an insult at her that compared her to Mulvaney and then also said, she doesn't smile, she's pretty much doesn't sm. And look, we have a lot of fun on the show, and so I don't want to take away from that, but this is disgusting. It's just disgusting. And the fact that he both belittled her during the dinner and in a misogynistic way at a time when she was getting an award for her coverage was grotesque and almost unhuman. But the fact that he just can't get over making fun of trans people also is really just low level bullying stuff you'd expect from like a prepubescent teenager. Honestly, it's, it's, it's, it's ridiculous. It's ridiculous that we have to deal with this. And I just feel like that's not something to laugh at. So that's that.
B
Yeah, I mean, I, I think you said it. I mean, it's crazy that this would be coming from any kind of public figure, much less the president. Very ugly stuff.
A
Yeah. You wouldn't tolerate this from your uncle. If your uncle. You can take down the post. It's silly. Take down the picture. If your uncle over Thanksgiving dinner was like, oh, that Caitlin Collins is really trans, you'd be like, yo, grow up. What is wrong with you? This is the President doing this shit. And people, you know, they love it on the maga, right? They think it's hilarious. And I think that's pathetic, honestly. Anyways, we have one last topic. Cpac. London.
B
Yes, Stage. Okay, so I have to say this was two weekends ago. I found out about it right after last week's broadcast. But I feel like we got to discuss it. So cpac, we all, look, we all love cpac. Match Slap and the Gang, Big Conservative conference. And they love to do these like little foreign boondoggles. And in this case, they went to London for cpac. Great Britain, run by Liz Truss, the shortest run prime minister in UK history. 49 full days. And you know, she is now kind of, I think, like a lot of kind of people who have failed very prominently. She's trying to have Maga revivify her fortunes. And so she is the head of this. And they had this event and it was Flop City. Even conservatives in the UK were like, this thing is a dump. It's a disaster. There's. It was also interesting to me because, like, it's this very kind of like Trumpian brand of like American evangelical conservatism that they brought over to the uk. And you know, this is like the folks with the manor houses are like, my goodness. Like, one thing I saw brought up repeatedly was how freaked out everyone was by how many prayers there were. It would be like, like Matt Schlapp or whatever being like, all right, and of course now we'll start with a prayer. And the British people were like, the Tories were like, what the hell is this? I've never seen anything like this.
A
So I guess the backstory for folks is that Matt Schlapp, who runs cpac, has been trying to do this sort of like globalized version of this. They have made inroads in Brazil. They definitely went to Hungary a fair bit. I'm sure there's some other countries.
B
South Korea and Japan have had CPACs.
A
Have they done Argentina with Malay? I'm sure they have.
B
I'm not sure, but probably, yeah.
A
Okay. So they're trying to globalize the. The. The conference. Really, it's just a money maker. I think I just want to make money. Anyways, the. The. It didn't go well. I'm going to read from the Spectator, which wrote. It wrote just one graph, which is great. We're talking about Truss. The sheer awfulness of cpac.
B
And this is a conservative publication.
A
Okay. They write. When she. This is Trust appeared on stage, the 49 Day Queen demonstrated the same emotional depth, at ease at human interaction which characterized her time in number 10. Interviewing An American bloke who looked like a Viking but apparently owns a string of Christian radio stations. She failed to make eye contact, staring blankly out into the audience while he informed us that Jesus was the first viral content creator who bypassed the biased mainstream Roman media to take his message straight to the Palestinian masses. Perhaps Trust was lost in thoughts of happier times, of strutting her stuff at the LGBT Tories disco. Where had it all gone wrong? Where was her Yimby Twinks? This is amazing. I do believe we have some video. If we do, let's play it now.
B
Put it in a hotel next to the ot.
A
Don't be fooled by the hubbub around me.
B
It is very, very quiet here. There are room, that's one third, maybe
A
about 500 seats in the auditorium.
B
And about two thirds of them have no one sitting in them. There are a few right and far right notables here. Young Bob is here. Okay, all right. Well, young Bob, because so few people showed up. So I watched a couple of videos from this and young Bob is like one of the most prominent figures. So it's interesting seeing like our American culture war figures, like, turn to be like, filtered into the uk. Young Bob is described, I think of the Spectator as an enormous lad who basically does kind of like a combo Charlie Kirk kind of Steven Crowder thing where he'll go to, I think like immigrant communities, or he'll go to liberal areas. And then he sort of asked rude questions. And then he gets. It's like in the British, you know, they might say he got clobbered, mate. You know, that's kind of like young Bob gets. Gets whacked. And just so he's seen as sort of a disreputable character. You know, people don't really like him in the uk, but. But he was someone who was, you know, all these. It was like young Bob was there. Some right wing young man named Angeloid was there there. But people kept saying, just like, I can't wait to meet young Bob.
A
I'm trying to find a picture of young Bob.
B
I actually didn't find him as enormous as the Spectator claimed. I think this is maybe like the difference between British and American body standards. I'm like, yeah, it looks like an American guy, but.
A
But he doesn't is here. Check the Slack channel. I'm throwing in. I want to make sure I got the right guy here. Check the Slack channel and make sure if this is the right guy, because it doesn't look big at all.
B
Yeah.
A
Is that him?
B
You know? Yeah, that's Young Bob. That's young Bob.
A
Can we put young Bob up? He doesn't look big. He looks like a. He looks like a normal human being. That's weird.
B
So. So there's a lot of, like, young Bob saying, like, I don't.
A
There are some funny pictures of young Bob. Here's one of him saying, restore Britain. So his stick is he's like a little conservative guy who just wants to, like, you know, start a movement.
B
Kind of like a Nick Sortor, type a Cam Higby, who's our buddy who went to Minnesota, that guy. Nick Shirley.
A
Oh, yeah. Nick Shirley, Yeah.
B
Like one of these characters. And so he said he's like, it looks fine. Yeah. I'm a little concerned about that weird little cross he's got on. I feel like that might have a bad backstory. It looks a little ominous. But, yeah, he goes around and he says, but in this video I saw, he said, you know, I don't support the Yankification of American politics, though I do Nick. A couple of their content creation tricks. So it's weird. But. But again, I could not get.
A
That was more. I'm sorry, that was more like an Australian accent.
B
You know, I'm renowned for the accuracy of my impression, so I can't believe that, you know, maybe it might be a Cockney dialect. You're not familiar.
A
Yeah, okay.
B
He. It was all these basically, like, secular Tory Liz Truss types who are just like, we're just gonna, like, you know, restore the monarchy. And. And then. Then Matt. Matt's. Matt Schlapp is just like, you know, we gotta. Let's pray. Let's talk about abortion. Everyone's freaked out.
A
Slap is. Slap is such a character. Obviously he's got some demons, or alleged demons, I should say. Can you tell me, can you talk a little bit about the Liz Truss arc here? Like, obviously, incredibly failed, embarrassing run as Prime Minister, 49 days, their whole lettuce thing. Like, who's going to last longer and let us last longer. And, like, what is she doing here? Is she even in. Is this like a. A bit. Does she even. Does she like this stuff or is she just hoping for some relevancy? What is going on?

You know, I think Liz Truss is trying to become kind of like a conservative culture war firebrand in a sort of Trumpian model. But for the uk, unfortunately for her, that role is already taken by Nigel Farage, whose Reform Party is. You know, it seems to be really kind of succeeding. Matt Schlapp was interviewed at this thing and he. Because they were like, well, the Tories are here. The Reform Party people are here. And he was just like, yeah, I'm with Nigel Farage. I like him, basically. And so her lane isn't clear to me, but. But it is, as that Spectator article pointed out. And she's also making, you know, alliances in the U.S. she has some deal going on with, like, John Solomon's operation. So. Yes. And so, you know, interesting guy to link up with.
A
Yeah, I just. She pops up at these conferences all the time. You're like, who do you really want Liz Truss as, like, a headliner? Is that going to excite the masses? Didn't hear. And it's just surprised that you would see her in the US but you do occasionally. All right, buddy, look, we didn't make it to an hour, 56 minutes. I want to keep that goal right there. I thought we might do an hour today, but we're just gonna fall a tiny bit short one day. Okay.
B
Yeah, we'll, we'll get there. We'll get there. Maybe, maybe twice as much clavicular for the Cup.
A
People don't want clavicular. People are wondering why we keep talking about. You know, I would say among the audience reactions, I think the, the most interesting topic for him was the Giants.
B
Yes, the Giants. This might bear further pursuit. Actually, you know what? I, I do have one more thing to comment on. You know, we talked in the past about Jared and Ivanka's, you know, Albanian misadventures trying to build this resort. But previously, I think a week ago, Dua Lipa, famous Albanian American, weighed in and she said that the environmental laws must be protected it. So, you know, I think they're. Jared, Ivanka may not win this one. I think Dua Lipa brings a lot more star power.
A
Do we know where things stand?
B
I mean, I think it's kind of still, I don't think there have been big, any big developments besides that comment, but, But I did want to flag that, since that's been a big storyline for us.
A
Well, I have a fact check for you. Duo is British. According to Matt Marshall, there's no Albanian.
B
Oh, oh. Albanian. British, I guess. Excuse me. Wow. Thank you, Matt. I, I'll turn in my fact marked
A
facts, marked by Matt.
B
No, Matt's totally right. I, I, I, I'm wrong on that. Well, this bear should have further research.
A
We should have stopped the show.
B
Why did we extend?
A
To try to get to an hour. What a mistake, actually, to get to an hour because I'm now committed. We only have two and a half more minutes. I am. You mentioned Solomon and he had that big speech. Trump had the big speech. Was it last week?
B
Two weeks ago?
A
Week and a half ago. Week and a half ago. And, and it was just a turd. Like a big old turd stunk. But like Solomon's kind of been, you know, hashing it out online, trying to save his reputation. And then I saw he's still doing the, what's his. Just the news. Keeps posting videos for just the news. I was like, this guy is just holding two hats here. But it, it feels like no one picked up on the stuff he threw out there.
B
No, it was really, it was a flop, I would say. I mean, you know, to the extent that, you know, now I think they're still posting, like, they'll post like a screenshot of something that says, like, CIA investigation, and it's like, all right, well, I'd love to see the full PDF. Oh, no, no, no, no. You know, what was interesting to me about the Solomon revelations and what we're continuing to see is a lot of these documents they're declassifying were created like a week or two ago. You know, they're sort of like summaries created by DHS or the CIA or the odni, and then they kind of like sum up old stuff. But then they kind of put a pro Trump spin on it and then declassify it and it's like, well, yeah, Mark Wayne Mullen made that. That's, I'm not going to believe that. Just kind of on its face.
A
That's a good point. I just felt like the juice wasn't there. Their heart wasn't into it. They were just sort of like, I don't know, they didn't give the goods. And then the whole weirdness of like, they have this whole thing where they're blaming China for all this interference and, you know, potentially stealing votes. And then Trump is asked about Chinese, like, yeah, I trust G, I trust them. You know, I, I, it's like, well, what is it? Right? Like they're either disrupting our elections or they're not.
B
Well, famously, you know, one of the pieces of evidence is that the Chinese stole the election through Tick Tock. But to be clear, we will keep Tick Tock running and we'll cut deals about it. But, you know, they're all going on there.
A
They're all going on. The White House is all going on the accounts.
B
And there were, there were a hardcore, a couple hardcore 2020 truthers who were like, wait a minute, you know, you know, we're told this election was stolen through Tick Tock, and now, like, Dr. Oz is making his Tick Tock account.
A
All right, last thing. And then we are absolutely going to get to an hour, which is awesome, but Andrew Tate has been tweeting, or somehow, like, getting the word out from his cell, and apparently he's like, next door to a cannibal. Is that true?
B
Well, I. I don't think that's true. He has been tweeting that, you know, I'm next door to a cannibal who screams all night and all this stuff. I mean, it's very weird. I mean, he's still in there. Obviously, as we talked about, the Trump administration has claimed that they're not going to let him out or not that they're. That they're not going to interfere in his extradition to the uk.
A
It's pretty bad for poor Andrew. Again, I'm going to read one if we can get it up on the screen. He says, I'm in special housing unit. That's hu. My water faucet is broken. I am not allowed bottles of water in shu. I have nothing clean to drink. My only water comes from the shower, warm and from a brown and filthy faucet. It has given me persistent stomach problems. The water I'm drinking is not clean. I am an American, innocent until proven guilty, but I'm forced to drink poisoned water. Where are my rights? Very focused on the water.
B
Yes, he is. And, you know, he's a. I think these are essentially fan fiction, right? Because I think. I don't know his lawyer. Someone with his Twitter account is writing this. I don't think he is. Not unlike our friend Ryan Fournier. You know, these are guys who are in jail.
A
Sam Brman freed, gets to tweet from jail, though. I mean, maybe something's. I don't. I am very curious about this. Sam Brinkin freed. Elizabeth Holmes. They're all tweeting from jail.
B
That's true. You know, the Elizabeth Holmes one. I mean, I think they've had enough time that they may be writing tweets in their cells and then passing them to their lawyers to other supporters. But this one just strikes me as. As relatively new. And so, yeah, I. You know, I. I don't know. I think he could probably waive his extradition rights and get taken out quickly enough.
A
Okay, well, I'm. I'm worried about the cannibal next door to him. Although you say that's not really a thing, so we'll see. All right, buddy, we made it. We broke an hour. It's been incredible. The first. The first time we've ever done this. I want to leave because the giants were the biggest topic of interest for the readers. We did actually, in the process of doing this, we got some tips from the tips line, but from someone who said they saw. Actually one was literally in Afghanistan and took photo of one of the giants and passed it along to us because they. They say we are being too dismissive of it and that they are real. So if we can put up the photo that was sent through the tips on, that'd be helpful. Oh, there it is.
B
Busted. Yes, that's me. I would never. I respect the troops. But the. But that. That. That I am. That that ripped and that muscular. That is true, Will.
A
No wonder you wear shorts. They're just pants.
B
You call them shorts. To me it's a loincloth.
A
This is actually. Folks, this is not real. I just want to be clear. This is just Will's head on a giant. But that is Will's body type and that is what he wears to work. I make him put on a shirt for the show, but otherwise he's just walking around. He also does carry a giant, but luckily he doesn't impale us with it. So there's that. But. Wow, you look great there, buddy.
B
Wow. Thank you so much. Yes. I was taking a nap at the time and so I was surprised in my cave.
A
Can you explain why you hang out in Afghanistan caves? Or is that for. Maybe we'll save that for the next.
B
That might be a reveal for part two.
A
Okay. Yeah. Okay. All right, folks. We don't do this because we're paid to reduce. Because we love it.
B
It.
A

This episode of "MAGA Mondays" offers a characteristically wide-ranging, irreverent, and sharply critical survey of the weekend’s big stories in MAGA-land and the right-wing social media ecosystem. Sam Stein and Will jump from Trump’s chaotic and offbeat online activity and White House Correspondents’ Dinner appearance, to viral stunts and beefs involving fringe personalities (Laura Loomer, Clavicular), before finishing off with raucous commentary on viral conspiracy theories, foreign ultraconservative conferences, and more.
The episode’s main theme revolves around the increasingly bizarre and “manic” content coming out of Trump’s camp (particularly his AI-fueled posting spree), the shifting alliances and tactics of right-wing influencers, and the interplay between internet culture and conservative activism.

On MAGA media denial:
Will (03:34): “When something bad happens to Trump or he flops…the majority of people just kind of ignore it.”
On Laura Loomer’s motives:
Sam (08:17): "Your interpretation here is that this has nothing to do with actual geopolitical worldviews...It's literally just if Candace and Tucker are for this, I have to be for that."
Loomer to Zelensky:
Loomer (13:27): “There's a photo…they said that you were all doing cocaine. So true or false?”
Zelensky: “Of course. Never. Of course not.”
On conspiracy media's appeal:
Will (23:25): “Rogan loves this stuff…this is what the Rogan audience wants. They want this a lot more than J.D. Vance.”
On viral stories as coping mechanisms:
Will (24:53): “…there is sort of this desire for another explanation that perhaps a giant was involved."
On Clavicular's excuse:
Clavicular (Summarized): “We aren’t playing the same game. I was wearing height inserts.”
Jake Shields (35:15): “This has to be one of the biggest aura drops in history.”
Sam on Trump’s anti-trans meme:
“It’s disgusting…the fact that he just can’t get over making fun of trans people is really just low level bullying stuff you’d expect from like a prepubescent teenager.” (48:43)
The episode is conversational, snarky, and densely packed with jokes, sidebars, and pop culture references. Hosts frequently riff on the ridiculousness of their subjects, embracing a tone that’s energetic, deeply skeptical, and rooted in a “can you believe this?” sensibility.
"MAGA Mondays" delivers a whirlwind yet detailed rundown of right-wing and online political culture, ridiculing its absurdities while dissecting the evolving strategies, self-delusions, and viral moments that define today’s conservative circus—from the White House down to meme-hungry pseudoinfluencers and bizarre internet mythologies. If you want a tour of the present media-political spectacle, plus plenty of laughs, this episode delivers.
