Tim Miller
Hey everybody, Tim Miller from the boat work here with my buddy and colleague Will Sommer, author of the False Flag
Will Sommer
newsletter, which you must be reading. And if you're not, what the hell are you doing?
Tim Miller
I wanted to grab Will because I came across a video with some Louisiana focus from the folks at Libs of TikTok and I have to be honest, I haven't really paid that much attention to Libs of TikTok for a while. But you guys might remember them as
Will Sommer
TikTok account that found crazy liberals and then like doxed them and made fun of them and dunked on them and stuff.
Tim Miller
Apparently it's still going strong and I do think it's kind of funny because cancel culture was like the big thing the right complained about forever liberal cancel culture and then like the libs kind of stopped doing cancel culture but right when Cancel culture still going strong. So anyway, for people who don't remember Libs of TikTok though, I gave kind of the short summary.
Will Sommer
Well why don't you kind of refresh people on the players.
Researcher/Contributor
Yeah, sure. So Libs of TikTok is this woman or you know, we'll get into it. It was a woman named Kaya Raicheck who basically her whole thing was just like the name says. She would find like the most like politically divisive, blue haired, you know, non binary progressive and they would say, you know, this person represents the Democratic Party and you know, doesn't that make you mad? So, so she would find these clips often on TikTok and you know, kind of pump this out and try to make this like a real wedge issue.
Will Sommer
Yeah.
Tim Miller
And she famously steal your line also was one of the recipients of the binders of the Epstein files and like
Will Sommer
has been at Mar A Lago.
Tim Miller
I mean and she took the this
Will Sommer
isn't like some niche account. Like she took it to huge following and and used it to get herself pretty deep inside the top echelons of MAGA world.
Researcher/Contributor
Yeah, that's right. I mean, I think she was really embraced as like this, you know, sort of a pillar of the rights, like fight against Cancel Culture and wokene. But now obviously we're kind of in a, you know, I don't know, post wokeness, wokeness, interim period. And so where does she find herself?
Tim Miller
Yeah, we got to do cancel culture.
Will Sommer
To stop cancel culture was kind of the idea, you know, which is sort of like Trump's mindset. We got to close the straight to open it.
Tim Miller
But you know, the funny thing is,
Will Sommer
you know, I don't know May well if you agree with this or not, but as somebody who's online a lot like there was a period peak woke, we call it, where there was a lot of like online mobs going after people for random transgressions against pieties. And a lot of times that's coming
Tim Miller
from the left these days. It seems like there's basically only three
Will Sommer
groups of people that are doing cancel culture anymore.
Tim Miller
It's both sides of the Israel Palestine conflict want to cancel each other.
Will Sommer
And the right wing anti woke firebrands
Tim Miller
who decided to do cancel Culture to
Will Sommer
combat cancel culture, they are continuing apace.
Tim Miller
And besides that, it's like not happening anymore. And it is kind of interesting, you would think that the people who are
Will Sommer
upset about it, really upset about cancel
Tim Miller
culture, your Joe Rogans, your Dave Chappelle's, your Elon Musk's, like, might at this
Will Sommer
point start to blanch a little bit,
Tim Miller
that it's only their people that are
Will Sommer
doing the thing that they got upset about. But you don't hear a lot about that anymore.
Researcher/Contributor
No, they don't seem too concerned about that. I mean, you know, whether it's the Justice Department going after people like the Southern Property Law center or, I mean, it's striking to me. Lives of TikTok. You know, for this video, I was kind of reviewing what she's been up to and, and they're really on like a school teacher who says 86, 47. They're like at Boston public schools. Like, this guy's a teacher, he says it's First Amendment to say 86, 47. Let's get him fired.
Tim Miller
This is so important because there was
Will Sommer
a lot of folks on the right
Tim Miller
who made this case that one of
Will Sommer
the things that was so pernicious about cancel Culture when it was coming from
Tim Miller
the left was that they were going after regular people. It's one thing to go after a
Will Sommer
commentator or even like a superintendent of schools, like a public figure of some kind.
Tim Miller
But like the problem was like when
Will Sommer
you went after random people, like that lady that did a racist AIDS joke or something and then got on an airplane to Africa and then they kind of ruined her life.
Tim Miller
Like that was the idea, was that that is wrong.
Will Sommer
People should be allowed to make mistakes and whatever. And I think it's interesting, I guess you said you were monitoring it, but
Tim Miller
like that is like the entire remit
Will Sommer
of Libs of TikTok right now. Just going after total randoms.
Researcher/Contributor
Yeah, totally. I mean just finding, you know, oh, there's this again, like a, like a blue haired librarian. I mean they're still like, you know, there's a book about drag queens like in a children's bookstore, you know, let's get them.
Tim Miller
One of the things that caught my eye that prompted this video was I
Will Sommer
want to watch this video about to show you where they try to cancel and go after a doctor here in New Orleans.
Tim Miller
What struck me was that the woman on the video was not Kaya. Is that how you say it?
Will Sommer
Kaya or Chaya?
Researcher/Contributor
I believe it's Kaya.
Will Sommer
Kaya. It was not Kaya.
Tim Miller
And so I guess they're growing. I mean right when cancel culture is so successful that they've like expanded their staffing.
Will Sommer
What have you found out about?
Researcher/Contributor
Well, I have a couple theories about this. So this actually has only been going on for I think about a week. Kaya's public profile, I would say has drastically reduced, particularly since the Epstein Binders incident last year. She's really like not around that much. So now they're calling themselves the Libs of TikTok team. Now I did a lot of research, you know, I, I like to know all the right wing media personalities. So when there's a new one like these, these two blonde women we're going to talk about, I like to know what their deal is. And it's very difficult. In fact, they often kind of mispronounce their names. This one woman we'll get into, she says, my name's Amy. I thought, oh, it's Amy. Oh no, it's Annie. Whatever. But I think what's going on here is that Twitter is making news x about demonetizing people who just rip video. So taking, let's say finding liberals on TikTok and putting it on Twitter, for example. And so I think she's trying to kind of create a stable of people who will commentate and, and so she can keep the money flowing.
Will Sommer
Got it.
Tim Miller
Because it's allowable to do kind of
Will Sommer
the reaction video style videos, but not just to steal videos.
Tim Miller
That's interesting. All right, why don't we look at the compilation of Annie, Amy, Amy, and
Will Sommer
before you get to Louisiana, doctor and see who the new faces are of Libs of TikTok. Let's watch.
Libs of TikTok Narrator
I can't believe this is real. Democrats want to police your ketchup packets. Annie here with libs of tick tock. Coming to you guys with a story about yet another recidivist offender. This is Annie with Libs of Tick tock with a very disturbing story for all the parents out there. We've got more violence from the left realm. Okay, people, they're coming for your children. Again.
Tim Miller
Said lady at the end was just a separate blonde. That's Annie with a different haircut.
Researcher/Contributor
That's another woman. Yeah. Kind of like a different vibe, I guess. Or maybe pretty similar vibes.
Will Sommer
Pretty similar vibes.
Tim Miller
I would say they have like the
Researcher/Contributor
TikTok white hate hour. I mean, it's really like, y', all, there's another illegal immigrant immigrant coming for your children.

What was the ketchup packet story there? Can we pull that back up again? That one went by really fast. Matt, can we watch what was that?
Libs of TikTok Narrator
I can't believe this is real. Democrats want to police your ketchup packets.
Will Sommer
Me neither.
Tim Miller
I can't believe that that's real either. The ketchup. The cancel culture is coming for the ketchup packets. Hopefully it's maybe there. Do you think that they want us to go back to catsup, which would
Will Sommer
be more of kind of like a trad mindset, you know, down with ketchup, Reinstate catsup.
Researcher/Contributor
Go to the olden days. Yes.
Tim Miller
Yeah.
Will Sommer
You know, reject modernity, embrace tradition. Cats up packets. Okay, we've done the silliness.
Tim Miller
This is a. This pissed me off, actually. This is mad. I'm mad that this is happening. And I do think that there was probably. It was probably the right mindset, especially
Will Sommer
given all the horrors of the actual Trump administration. Just kind of ignore the silliness of things like the Libs of TikTok.
Tim Miller
But if they're going to continue to
Will Sommer
be out there trying to ruin the lives of regular people, I do think it's important that they have to answer for that. So let's watch this specific case. It's about a doctor here in New Orleans. And it caught my eye because libs took that themselves and then some of their other, you know, whatever hangers on were tweeting at, like, tagging this hospital. It's right around the corner for me. Doing their best to try to create drama and attack this doctor. So let's watch.
Libs of TikTok Narrator
There are some truly terrifying individuals that currently work in our healthcare system. This is Dr. Maurice Scholas, and he's a pediatric doctor at the New Orleans Ochsner Children's Hospital. He went on an unhinged social media rant referring to white people as the Mayonnaise Caucus.
Dr. Maurice Scholas
First and the loudest are the white guys. The white women are usually there too, but they say it just a little more gently, but it's just as foul. So before you come on somebody's post and tell them what they think is not what you believe they should think or tell them what they are, explaining their life experience as being is invalid. How about remember to shutting the up is free.
Libs of TikTok Narrator
We checked out his social media, and of course he's got pronouns in his bio. He also repeats the Democratic lie that African Americans are somehow prevented from voting. And he threatened the Louisiana legislators by saying he will do everything in his power to disrupt the system.
Dr. Maurice Scholas
But you don't want the actual black people that live here to have any say. We're not going down, and we're gonna do everything in our power. To disrupt this system.
Libs of TikTok Narrator
This sure sounds like a call of violence to me. Would you feel comfortable with this person being in charge of your child's healthcare?
Tim Miller
Yes. Fuck you. Oh, disrupt the system is a call to violence.
Will Sommer
This is at the seashell level here.
Tim Miller
Annie's rant here, I think it's important to say, comes amidst like, Jeff landry,
Will Sommer
the Republican governor of Louisiana signed an executive order to nullify people's votes. 42,000 people have voted in the state already to cancel the elections to create new elections where we would take away black representation in the state.
Tim Miller
So I think a black person in
Will Sommer
Louisiana talking about how their voice is being silenced and how they want to disrupt the system is totally reasonable. It's not a call to a threat to anything.
Tim Miller
His other big offense on here, I guess, is that he criticized people on
Will Sommer
his social media of being part of the mayonnaise caucus.
Researcher/Contributor
Yeah, he did the classic, you know, you're mayo ass white people.
Tim Miller
Yes, your mayo ass. Yeah. And it's like, okay, I mean, you want the doctor fired over this? Like, that's what they want. She's like, she.
Will Sommer
I understand why she might not want her child to go to that doctor because she doesn't want, you know, she doesn't believe that black people are equal and she believes that everybody has DEI and that they've gotten. They're not on their merits.
Tim Miller
But I assume somebody with a gray
Will Sommer
beard like that has had a very long career. Many people in the city have sent
Tim Miller
their kids to him.
Will Sommer
He is allowed to have political opinions in his free time. You think the fucking libs of TikTok people would understand that? They have some pretty terrible political opinions that they share in their free time
Tim Miller
and, like the idea that they would
Will Sommer
try to cancel this person and get him fired over the fact that he said he wants to disrupt the system and like, offered some, like, lightly heated comments about the, let's just be honest, white establishment here in Louisiana that is taking political power away from black folks. I think it's totally appropriate and fine, and it's like absolutely insane that they are now running a social media mob campaign to try to go after them.
Researcher/Contributor
Yeah, I mean, I think it gets to what you talked about earlier regarding this kind of like, right wing cancel culture. I mean, very much. I mean, this is what lives of TikTok has been about for so long, which is sort of often, you know, having a chilling effect. You're kind of terrorizing regular people from participating in political discourse. I mean, there's no reason that a pediatrician shouldn't be allowed to voice his political opinions pretty, by the way, I think straightforward ones. I mean, not really like radical. And they're saying he's trying to murder people. And so, I mean, I think clearly there's kind of this enforcement mechanism where any. They want to make people afraid to say, you know, hey, I don't like that the Voting Rights act is getting overturned and then they'll try to get you fired.
Will Sommer
Yeah, yeah. Disrupt the system as an act of violence.
Tim Miller
It's like what I mean, it's like
Will Sommer
literally actually a comment about changing the political structures. It's hard to even understand how like blonde, curly, you know, little TikTok lady there, like got like even saw it as violence. And it's a very snowflakey, I guess, reaction, I would say. Very snowflakey, yeah.
Researcher/Contributor
Do you think this pediatrician with the mismatched glasses or the colorful glasses is part of the Weather Underground? Certainly seems that way to me.
Tim Miller
The whole thing is fucking crazy. All right, Will. Well, we'll keep an eye on them because I think it's important to disrupt the disruption if they're going to try
Will Sommer
to get random people fired for having political opinions. I think that we can try to disrupt the system, if you will, which is not a threat to violence. It is just merely a argument that we're trying to change the way that things are working because it's not working correctly.
Researcher/Contributor
I mean, it's so weird seeing this stuff also packaged in the kind of like flat, monotone TikTok voice where she's saying, you know, wow, that sounds like a threat of violence to me. You know, it's like one day I was like, do you think Baby Gronk is going to rizz up Livy? You know, just, just all of this just like Internet brain rot stuff applied to like just this like really kind of brutal attempts to get someone fired.
Will Sommer
The doc thing is back. Well, anyway, hopefully we'll hear from the Joe Rogans of the world, the Dave Chappelle.
Tim Miller
This is a good moment. It's a good moment. We can all kumbaya together and say, we're over this. We're done with this. Peak woke has passed. Cancel culture is passed. Now it's time for the right wingers
Will Sommer
to police their own house and make sure that they are done with this stupid nonsense where you go after regular people for expressing their political views in a free country.
Tim Miller
That's enough. Thank you for doing a little rapid
Will Sommer
fire research on the latest with Libs of TikTok for me, Will. I always appreciate your expertise.
Researcher/Contributor
Yeah, happy to do it. The commenters love over at Libs of TikTok, they love the new crew. They say, oh Libs of TikTok, Annie is here and maybe someday we'll learn the other one's name.
Tim Miller
Or maybe not.
Will Sommer
Or hopefully not.

Episode Theme:
A timely, spirited discussion focused on the resurgence of right-wing online campaigns targeting private individuals, with a close look at the current activities and evolving tactics of Libs of TikTok. The episode contrasts the original complaints about “cancel culture” from the left with the current intensity of similar campaigns by the MAGA movement.
Bulwark Takes lays bare the irony that those who once decried “cancel culture” — epitomized by the right-wing influencer ecosystem around Libs of TikTok — are now deploying the same tactics against random, regular people. Through humorous takedown, moral critique, and a call for consistency, Miller, Sommer, and their colleague challenge listeners to see the new wave of online vilification campaigns for what they are: a movement that’s now hunting those it once claimed to protect.
