Hey, this is Sharon Trivata. Welcome back to the Business School podcast. And in this episode I'm going to break down the $0 lead engine. Essentially I'm going to give you four systems that are step by step like an SOP that shows you how you can generate leads on autopilot that most of your competitors will never do because it takes just a little bit of effort. Now here's the best part. All of these systems, I break it down step by step so that you can either have your existing team member do or a virtual assistant do or, or even have AI automatically do it for you using ChatGPT operator, et cetera, so you can get these leads while you sleep. That's the best part. So I'm going to break down these four systematic ways on how to generate leads on autopilot in your business for $0. And it all starts right now.
B
One thing is for certain, just because it's tried and true doesn't mean it's working right now. So the big question is where can you learn what is working right now? The strategies, the tactics, the psychology and.
A
The exact how to, how to grow.
B
Your business, how to blow up your personal brand and supercharge your personal growth. That is the question and this podcast will give you the answer. My name is Sharan Srivatha and welcome to business school.

So I have found that nothing makes a business feel better than having consistently generation and nobody really wants to do that because in a lot of ways it's boring. So today I'm going to share with you a zero dollar growth formula, essentially four proven systems for free growth. And I'm designing this for you in such a way that one of two things are possible. Either a virtual assistant or someone that already has a little bit of capacity on your team can easily do this for you. Or, or number two, you can use artificial intelligence specifically you know, like the ChatGPT operator or the Deep SEQ operator to actually do this for you. If you just get the SOP right and you provide this to the system or to the person, they can generate a lot of this for you. And if they did this, call it 20 minutes on a day to day basis, you will start to have consistent lead generation of targeted qualified leads coming into your pipeline. So this is the $0 growth formula for free marketing tactics that drive super real results. I'm going to let's get into system number one. So a lot of people think that, you know, their clients are on one platform or the other platform and what I will tell you is if I'm on every platform and you're on every platform, everyone's on every platform. There is always a way to kind of activate people from almost every platform. So the system number one is I'm going to call you the LinkedIn industry hook. And it's a DM system and it's outbound lead generation and it's the LinkedIn industry hook. And let me explain exactly how this works. So you want to work off some kind of trigger event. I'm going to give you the SOP around this. So when someone comments on a LinkedIn post about some relevant chat challenge, we kick in. So think about this for a second. You're not going out and posting, hey, I'm looking for five people to help lose weight in the next 30 days. Like, that's cool and all, but no one woke up in the morning looking for that post. They want what's in it for them, right? So if someone is already posting something on LinkedIn about a relevant challenge, now when you respond to that, they've already raised their hand and said that they have that challenge. And they're just trying to figure out they're open to any potential solution that you can bring, because they've already identified and raised their hand saying, I have that challenge. So here's kind of like the SOP for it. So step number one, you got to find these conversations. And if you don't know, LinkedIn has an insane search feature to track posts and comments in your niche. So you should literally just go to LinkedIn and start to figure out the search Engine to use LinkedIn to search for comments in your niche. And second, you want to be the first to engage, so you comment insightfully before messaging. So you say, hey, Sharad, it looks like you're struggling with blah, blah, blah. And so now you've commented on my on my post or comment. So now I have some kind of rapport. You want to do that before you send a dm, but after you do that, you send a direct message. And I'm going to say DM on the script. If you're unfamiliar with the phrase dm, it just means direct message. All it means is instead of posting publicly on a social platform, you message privately on the platform. And the script could go something like this. Hey, Sharon, I saw Your post on LinkedIn on, you know, this topic on podcast. I actually recorded a three minute video on this. Would you like me to send it to you? So now there's two touches, right? One, you shared it in public and now you message in private and then based on the response, you send the personalized video. In fact, you don't even have to make this personalized video until that person responds. Right. And you can make it in a loom or a video. I suggest making it in a loom because what you can do is if you start your loom with their website in mind and their website in place, then it, it, you know, has this little motion animation. So when you put it in the LinkedIn chat, they'll see their website and they're like, wow, Sharon actually took the time to make this for me. And you could go off screen on that and then you would follow up kind of like say 48 hours later and say, hey, did anything from the video stand out? If you're open to it, I can walk you through how this applies to making better podcasts. Please don't say something like, you know, are you open minded? Because that is a manipulative label. Right? You want to talk about behavior, you don't want to label them. Right? I, it is easy for me to say, you know, hey, are you open to talking about it? Not that are you open minded? Right. So did you learn anything from this video stand out? If you're open to it, I can walk you through how this applies to, you know, getting better podcast reach or whatever that is. Right. By the way, this is used all the time. You probably see this in real world stuff. Top B2B sales professionals use this to land high ticket clients all the time. Some of these may not actually impact you, but whenever I get like a good LinkedIn DM message, I stop and I'm like, huh, what did this person do? How did they actually do that? And that works really, really well. So what's kind of like the distribution plan around it? If you had to hand this off to a team member or a marketing specialist or a virtual assistant, what would they do? The distribution plan is you would track 10 plus new posts daily using LinkedIn search filters. So you can set up the search filters one time and then you would log the outreach in a Google sheet. By the way, this is easily doable with ChatGPT operator. You can literally, you know, work on this once and tell it what to do. And once this is once you have like a 50 plus percent response rate for the first message, then you would continue. If you have less than a 50% response rate, you would kind of tweak the message. And then you want to then figure out if I can get a 10% conversion to calls. If that Conversion is lower, you would just improve the video quality. I essentially gave you. Like, you could use this one single system and generate leads forever in your business because you have more and more people coming on the platform, more and more people posting that they have these challenges. And you, you are only responding to a publicly posted challenge, which is super easy, right? So that's number one, which is the LinkedIn industry hook DM system. Let me give you system number two. And this is the Twitter cold outreach engine. And most people won't do this because they think that it's spammy. But the problem that makes things spammy is that it has no context. And you want real time lead generation. You want things that are context. Context sensitive, right? That are contextual. So here's the big idea. Everything needs to start with a trigger event. So when someone tweets about struggling with your niche topic, then it starts to make sense. So let's say I'm a fitness coach. So when someone tweets about struggling with losing weight, now I know that it's activated in their head and they've posted and they're asking for help, right? So what I would do from an SOP perspective, let me give you some steps in this process. So I would say, number one, I would set up a Twitter advanced search filter. Like Twitter, you can go in and set up an advanced search filter and you can say, hey, you know, struggling with weight loss. And if you find that like Twitter's smart enough to give you the right answers around that. So I would do various versions of that, right? And the second is you would engage publicly. So if someone posted that and you saw that post, you'd engage publicly and say, hey, I just dealt with this. Here's a quick tip. And then you provide a mini solution. And then you say, have you tried this yet? Or you could say, hey, I just dealt with this with one of my clients. Here's a quick tip. And then you provide a mini solution. Have you tried this yet? Now you're engaging in a conversation. Because all conversion happens in conversation, right? And after you've done that, you can actually DM them. You can say, hey, Sharon, I saw your tweet. I put together a one pager on this for one of my clients. Would you like me to send it to you? Right, so now you've got the public comment and you've got the private dm, which is good. Now, based on the response, you send the PDF. But I generally never send the PDF. I always send the PDF with like a one minute video Breakdown. I essentially put the PDF on a loom and I say, hey, Sharon, I'm glad this, you know, you reached out. A lot of people have been struggling with this. I've been working with my clients on this. Let me walk you through this one page PDF that I built as a cheat sheet. I didn't want to overwhelm you with the entire protocol, but I wanted to give you a high level to see if this would be helpful to you. Let me walk you through it. And then you just walk into the PDF and you send the PDF to them along with the loom video. And they're like, their minds are blown because you've done something so much more thoughtful than even the people that they're paying right now, which is what's amazing. Then you just follow up 24 hours later and you'd be like, hey, just checking intro on. Did that guide help? Happy to share more if needed. Right. So all this shows is that you care and that you have capability, right? Capability alone is not enough. What makes people buy is that you have the capability and that you care. They need a sense of feeling that they want to be like, all right, this guy cares and he knows what he's doing. By the way, this happens all the time in the real world. You know, Twitter is often used by more SaaS, founders and consultants for organic client acquisition. But anything can happen in any niche. Like pe. You and I are on Twitter like people or X as they call it these days, right? So what's kind of like the distribution plan around this? By the way, the ChatGPT operator or your team members can easily work on this. But I use something called tweetdeck. It's a super easy software and you can just monitor everything in real time. You can set up a query or a search and it just shows everything in like a trello like column. And you can easily respond to all of those. And all you have to do is engage with like 5 high quality posts daily. Like you can let the algorithm screen and then every day at 5pm you could do the five posts and just engage with the five posts daily. If you have AI built in, it will just do it for you in real time, which is perfect. And then you just got to watch some success metrics, right? You're like, hey, I sent out this dm. How many of this converted? So you just log it in a spreadsheet, see how many converted and then you turn those into sales. It's super easy if you do the logging. And so that is the Twitter Cold and outreach engine. Hopefully that is helpful. And so the thing that I want to tell you right now is don't think about it as, ooh, I don't like Twitter. I'm not on Twitter. Like, everything that most businesses do is very III centric. I don't want to do this. I'm not a LinkedIn fan. I don't post video. Nobody cares about what you do, right? You want more money, you want more clients, you want more people to serve. That's what we should focus on when we get into the, oh, that's not my personality. I don't do that. Like, I don't like making videos. I think Twitter is trashy. You know, I think LinkedIn's full of bots. All of that's irrelevant. Like, they're a multibillion dollar company and people are on those platforms. Let's utilize them to our benefit. So just get out of your head about what you like and what you want and make it about how you want more money and more clients to serve. That's what's the key part of this process. All right, here's system number three. And this is actually a good one, by the way. I think every single person should do this. This is free traffic. I call this the Facebook Marketplace freebie hook. And it's essentially a local and online lead magnet. So if you run a local business, this will crush. So this is the Facebook Marketplace lead magnet freebie hook. So here's how this works. So when someone searches for industry related solutions on Facebook Marketplace, something that you do should pop up. In fact, a lot of these are popping up even in regular Google searches right now. So here's like a quick sop for how this would work. You would create like a one page quick fix guide for solving, like a specific problem, right? So it may be something like how to. I'm just making this up, by the way, hey, let's say you live in a colder place and winter is coming for some reason, right? And there is a, hey, here are 10 tips to winterize your home that you can do for less than $5. So you'd be a free guide. You know, how to winterize your home in under seven minutes or how to winterize your form home for under five. And because a lot of people will go on there looking for somebody to help them with this, right? So in the description, you would just say, hey, I made this for all the homeowners that live in Madison, Wisconsin. If you want a copy, just message me guide and I'll send it Over. That's all you have to do. So what you're asking for, you want them to message you, and then if they respond to you, you just respond to the inquiries and you send them the guide. And then you follow up 24 hours later and you're like, hey, Sharon, I also recorded a short video on how to implement this. Would you like me to send that to you too? Of course they're going to say yes, because they got the PDF just like you and I get a bunch of PDFs and we don't really do anything with them. Now when they send the video, it humanizes the process because now you can say, hey, do you want to do this yourself or would you like my team to help you? Right? And then you can book a call or offer additional resources or whatever like this. Digital marketers have used this method to generate hundreds of leads monthly for 0 ad spend. You're doing is you're hacking traffic, right? You're going, you. You're essentially going to a place where people are looking for the thing, and then you're offering them your information on your thing for free. Instead of just posting your thing on social media, thinking that, you know, 12 of your high school friends are going to click on it, you're going to a place where people are already searching for the thing and then you generate conversation. Because all conversion happens in conversation. So how I would kind of distribute this is I would post in multiple Facebook groups in your niche, and I would rotate different offers every two weeks. Like, if you did this, this is a straight up Facebook operator job. Like, it can easily do it or it would take you five minutes, but the AI can monitor it, or your virtual team member can monitor it easily in less than five minutes. And once you start getting responses, you can jump in and take over the conversation. This will crush. Like, you would get 50 plus DMs in the first seven days if your topic is on point. If it's not, you have to clean it up a little bit. And then once you get in conversation, you can manage it because all conversion happens in conversation. All right, so that was the Facebook Marketplace freebie hook method. So that's system number three here. Let me give you system number four, because I promised you four $0 systems, right? I've talked about this before. I believe that this is the number one way to grow your email list and your target audience. This is the list swap method, and this is how you leverage other people's audiences. So in essence, here's a trigger event, right? You've got to identify non competing businesses with the same audience. Think about that. You got to identify non competing businesses with the same audience. So for example, right, if a real estate agent wants to talk to homeowners, but a pool contractor wants to talk to homeowners too, I always use a real estate agent pool contractor idea because they talk to the same homeowners. And that's really important because then both of you can send the same message to the same avatar and then continue to grow your list. So let's say, you know, so let's talk about sop around this. So let's say you find three non competing businesses in a niche. So like let's say a web design company partners with a copywriter, right? The web design company just design stuff, but the copyright actually writes a copy. And then so I would say something like, hey copywriter, we both serve the small business audience, but in different ways. What if we introduced each other to our email list? I'll feature you and you feature me. It's a win win, right? So now you're sending each other to each other's lead magnet. And so now you endorse each other because now you've also built in a natural referral partner. Think about this. Sure. I'm, you know, the web designer may be getting introduced to the copywriter client. The copywriter may be getting introduced to the web designer's clients. But what you don't understand is that the web designer going forward will always refer this copywriter for everything because they did this promotion with them, this copywriter. Whenever they get a new client, they'll always refer the web designer, which is a cool thing, right? So your job is to just craft a single email for each other's list and you need to send and track and you just. And funny part is people think they do it one time. No, you repeat this quarterly. That's what this is important for. This is one of my, I will tell you that if, if there was anything that every single person should do, it is this strategy because it allows you to build a one to one endorsed relationship with your target avatar that already has a relationship with the other partner. And that's so easy. I would target businesses with small but engaged lists. You don't know about it, but you can kind of ask, hey, how would you do this? Et cetera. Right. And I would, I would make a goal of doing at least one list swap per month. If you did one list swap per month for, you know, the next year, it will dramatically grow your audience base. Like you would be shocked as to what it does. And I have generated thousands and thousands and thousands of email subscribers and people in my network because of doing the list slab. And the only reason why the conversions would be low is because you're not matching the audience. Right? Like you want a similar audience but different offerings. And that's when this really works. All right, so I promised you for like systematic ideas. I know this was ultra tactical. Like I went SOP based sop. So I'd really hope for your kind of feedback on this one. So, number one, we talked about the LinkedIn industry hook where you do, it's personal, you do a kind of video, different outreach that works best. Then I talked about the Twitter or X cold outreach engineering where you search for real time conversations and then you message in public and then message in private. Then I talked about the Facebook Marketplace freebie hook, which you put the lead magnet as a free offer on Facebook Marketplace and then have them DM you and then you can send it to them and start a conversation. Or the main idea of this joint venture email swap, or like the list swap, where you leverage each other audiences before mutual growth. Right? So my big idea for you is, you know, you gotta pick one of these playbooks to execute this week. And all of these, I designed them so that either someone on your team or a virtual team member, an assistant, or AI can do this for you or do all the heavy lifting for you. And once you start to do it once, like, even if you don't, if you're like, hey, I don't have time to hire somebody, just go spend the rest of the week just seeing how you can automate AI to do this for you. Because once you start this and it runs in the background while you're sleeping, imagine how amazing that is for you overall, right? So if this was helpful, I know I went a little ultra like SOP and tactical on this episode. If this was helpful, can you do me a couple things? Right? One, I hope that you'll send this to the right person on your team or your friends or your mastermind group, etc. To generate more of this. But more importantly, if you like this, can you screenshot this and post it and tag me so that I can make more like this for you. Please, if you like this, screenshot this and tag me so I can make more like this for you.
