Podcast Host 1
Welcome back to another episode of Inside the Bus. This is a very special episode because as you can see, we've all got our shades on. That is because this past few weeks we've been shining out in the bus and streets and we were outside with it over the weekend at Jerry's. We're going to recap the brunch. We're going to talk about. What else are we talking about? We're going to talk about ufc, talking about the fights. We're going to talk about possibly if it's if we're gonna see the pulse on the bus. And who thinks it's cool to sleep with your dog, let your dog in the bed, who doesn't want their dog on furniture, stuff like that. So thanks for being here. Make sure you go ahead and subscribe. And I say we start off with brunch.
Podcast Host 2
I'm so bummed I wasn't there for it. I know it seems like it's what.
Podcast Host 3
What were you Doing?
Podcast Host 2
I was golfing with and Schless's dad. I shot him. I shot a 99. If that. If that shows you if I golf or not.
Podcast Host 4
Jared, I. I have a question. Yeah, Actually, I need you to list all the people who showed up to the brunch on time.
Thumbtack Representative
On time.
Podcast Host 2
What was on?
Podcast Host 1
I'll tell you this. I was the latest, and it wasn't my fault. Siddon.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, hey, on time. When we're talking brunch, I don't even want to bring any vibes down. Everybody was there. Everybody was there. Almost everybody was there.
Podcast Host 4
I just tried to trick you.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
Flowers.
Podcast Host 1
Wait, Jerry was talking like this.
Podcast Host 2
Jerry was talking like he was rapping like Eminem.
Podcast Host 1
And then the way he decided to fix the mic, he did this. It was really in the hole.
Podcast Host 5
I don't know why I did that. I'm tripping.
Thumbtack Representative
That's why we got the shades on.
Podcast Host 5
Acting differently makes me feel, like, high or drunk right now with the shades on.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, keep going.
Thumbtack Representative
You have been drinking at work.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, we're going all over the place. Brunch was amazing. Yeah, Coop got there first.
Podcast Host 1
What time did you get there?
Podcast Host 5
I wanted you to say yeah, then the interns got there. But no, I did not. It didn't matter when anybody got there. Everybody got there in God's timing.
Podcast Host 3
Turn quote, Chad.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, you're right. You're right. And then, yeah, Ryan came after. Ryan walked into a shot. But anyway, yeah, ever. It was amazing.
Podcast Host 1
What kind of shot?
Podcast Host 3
Shout out.
Podcast Host 1
He saw a photo of a gun.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, yeah, that is true.
Thumbtack Representative
Dang. Hit them with it, Cooper.
Podcast Host 3
What?
Podcast Host 4
Oh, the one in front of the gun lives forever.
Podcast Host 5
I don't know what that means. What's funny is cheese came with a camera. I don't think he turned it on once, but he was like, I'm a no reference video. She said, I'm a vlog. This. I think the camera stayed in the kitchen the whole time. But no, I mean, everyone brought something. It was. I had such a good time. I mean, I'm probably biased, but I felt like it was so fun. It was like a 10 out of 10. Like, we haven't all hung out outside of work in so long.
Thumbtack Representative
It was very fun.
Podcast Host 5
It was just so fun to talk. Like. I don't know, like, talk to, like, the girlfriends were. Were becoming friends.
Podcast Host 4
Like, getting outside was nice.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
Shade.
Podcast Host 4
The table was good.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, the shade was great. I mean, the whole entire brunch was, like, sponsored by bus. And it was, like, as far as seating went, it was all chairs from here and all tables from here. But, dude, this is random. I mean, we can actually put up a picture of the table, like so you can see it. All those decorations on the table, the vases, the flowers. There's like. I like those old chalice glasses we were using.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, yeah.
Podcast Host 5
All that stuff. Dollar Tree, everything.
Podcast Host 1
People sleep, dude.
Podcast Host 5
Mackenzie told me. She's like. I went a little while ago, and she's like, they, like, weirdly have nice sections.
Thumbtack Representative
We would hit her when you were.
Podcast Host 5
Yes.
Thumbtack Representative
And we went in there.
Podcast Host 5
I mean, Costco for the food was easy. And then we went to Dollar Tree for the decor. And it. I think it went pretty good, dude.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, it was.
Thumbtack Representative
That's smart.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Mid level decor. That ended up being.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Chalices.
Podcast Host 1
Garrett was on the breakfast shots. Oh, actually, I don't think I'd ever had one.
Thumbtack Representative
They were great. Yeah, they're good. Shout out. Mike Mancini. Big Mike, when he used to come visit us in Tuscaloosa, he would wake us up every Saturday with a breakfast shot and get your day going. So I had to bring it to the squad.
Podcast Host 5
G said, chase it with orange juice. What's in it? I'm sorry.
Thumbtack Representative
So it's. It's an Irish whiskey, but we're going to use Jameson. And then you use butter. Butter schnapps, and then you follow with some oj. If you really want to have the full effect, you get a crispy piece of bacon to chow down after for the little bit of saltiness. We didn't have that.
Podcast Host 2
What does it, like, taste like?
Thumbtack Representative
Pancakes. Your favorite.
Podcast Host 5
What I was going to say is, like, in my. I like orange juice. I like everything in it. But, like, chasing with orange juice on paper doesn't sound like it would in my head, like, tastes that good. It was so perfect.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, it was good. We honestly probably could have used a little more orange juice on the chase.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, that's the way you're sitting in the sunglasses. You look cool.
Podcast Host 5
It's just gonna open myself up to y'. All.
Podcast Host 1
I know.
Podcast Host 4
I was laughing when he said, I like orange juice and everything in it.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. No, we were laughing at two. You're just wreaking aura right now, and I just.
Thumbtack Representative
Do I need to get on the couch and give him his own frame?
Podcast Host 1
I know.
Podcast Host 5
I'm sorry.
Podcast Host 1
I didn't mean to cut that off.
Podcast Host 4
Me and JP Just looked at each other and started dying.
Podcast Host 5
I'll close off now.
Podcast Host 1
And I. It kills me. I don't have mine on the Cyclops shades.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, I Got some downstairs. You want to get an intern to bring you some?
Podcast Host 1
No, no, I'm good. Maybe we do everybody want to say their MVP of the. Of the brunch. Who was their favorite?
Podcast Host 5
I gotta think.
Thumbtack Representative
Well, we got there. We mingled for a sec, then we ate. We all broke bread together. It was nice. And then we broke out the games. Had a little can jam.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Frisbee.
Podcast Host 1
We learned something about this generation with the Frisbee.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
For real?
Podcast Host 2
You can or cannot throw?
Podcast Host 4
Oh, I can't.
Thumbtack Representative
He can now.
Podcast Host 4
Yeah, I. I could. Like, I've thrown a Frisbee before, but, like, obviously I never do it, so I went out there and I just.
Thumbtack Representative
Like, why is that obvious?
Podcast Host 5
I don't.
Podcast Host 2
I don't know.
Podcast Host 4
Because my generation doesn't use Frisbees. Is that what I said?
Podcast Host 1
That's what I was trying to think of. Your quote is like, yeah, my generation didn't grow up with these.
Thumbtack Representative
This is a shame, man.
Podcast Host 4
Hey. But I got it dialed in, and I was.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, you had a little too much fun looking it.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
There was a point where no one else was out there but Coop.
Podcast Host 4
But I never threw it over the fence.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. Who did throw it over?
Podcast Host 5
I think I did one. No, I think I got close. Like. Like, I went. I went in the trees a lot. That's what I did.
Podcast Host 4
Ryan threw it over once.
Podcast Host 1
Ryan.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
It's all right. We were dialed.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
And then we. Then we finished it up with some spike ball at the end, which was nice.
Podcast Host 2
Broke out of sweat.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. We were sweating from when it was, like, the very.
Podcast Host 5
The very end. Yeah. Yeah. It was hot and humid.
Podcast Host 1
Jared was so much better at spike ball than I thought he was going to be.
Podcast Host 3
Really?
Podcast Host 5
I said. I mean, I used to play spike ball and Frisbee a ton, like, at church camps and stuff. But, like, I mean, that was years ago, and I wasn't that good then. But it's like, I've just at least played, and I was hammered, so I wasn't playing that good.
Thumbtack Representative
It surprised.
Podcast Host 2
It surprised me because, like, your hand. Eye isn't the greatest.
Podcast Host 5
Terrible.
Podcast Host 2
But, like, I feel like spike ball, you need, like, the most handout.
Podcast Host 1
Right?
Podcast Host 5
I wasn't good.
Podcast Host 1
But you were serviceable.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Beating us by, like, three at one point.
Podcast Host 5
I don't even remember.
Podcast Host 1
Then we started playing with our dominant hand.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Podcast Host 2
Who was your partner? Jared.
Thumbtack Representative
Huh?
Podcast Host 1
Jerry. It was Jared and Cheese.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. I didn't remember.
Thumbtack Representative
And then no, Ryan.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. This is the end of it. I don't really remember what was happening.
Podcast Host 1
You were blackout.
Podcast Host 5
No, but 12pm it was just the end of the brunch. I don't remember.
Podcast Host 2
I feel like Jared blacks out pretty easily. He doesn't remember everything all the time.
Podcast Host 5
I mean, yeah, I had a lot of shots. Yeah, I wouldn't defend out a lot.
Thumbtack Representative
We had a full day.
Podcast Host 5
God, it was so fun.
Podcast Host 2
Jared came into the office on Monday and was like, dude, Saturday may have been the greatest day of all time.
Podcast Host 5
Me and McKenzie were saying it truly was. We, like, woke up early. Like, we got to hang out together. We had mimos. This is how I probably blacked out. We started with mimosas before anyone got there. We're, like, decorating, like, getting the food ready. It's like, perfect vibes. Then everyone gets over perfect vibes, everyone leaves. And there's such a perfect amount of time between everyone leaving in UFC that night. Whereas, like, we got a quick nap in, we, like, ate a quick bite, and then, like, go to ufc. So, I mean, we don't have to jump to that. But, like, such a great fight, such a great night with everyone again. Then it's like when everyone said, buy a brunch, it's not like, see you Monday. It's like, see you tonight.
Thumbtack Representative
Right back to the question, though.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
You proposed. I mean, I feel like unanimous decision is the demons.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, that's given with an S on.
Podcast Host 5
The end because McKenzie. The breakfast.
Podcast Host 1
Castro McKenzie.
Podcast Host 5
She crushed it. I mean, she crushed everything.
Podcast Host 1
I think we might be on the same page with what you're about to say.
Thumbtack Representative
You don't say it. On three.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. One, two, three. Addie.
Thumbtack Representative
Okay. Same thing.
Podcast Host 5
The coops.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. That was awesome. I don't know if. I mean, you give us the green light.
Podcast Host 4
Yeah, Green light.
Thumbtack Representative
Okay. Sweet.
Podcast Host 5
Hyper up.
Thumbtack Representative
All time chiller. Adam.
Podcast Host 1
Flip that switch up. Jack. Hello. Let's go.
Thumbtack Representative
All right. Hell, yeah. But, yeah, all time chiller. So sick to meet Addie. She's a deadhead, so that was. She is love at first sight, but that was awesome. And it felt like she gelled with everybody. Honestly, the whole table was vibing.
Podcast Host 5
So cool.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, yeah.
Podcast Host 5
She brought us champagne. Brought us champagne.
Thumbtack Representative
We did. Let's go.
Podcast Host 2
How many bottles of champagne did you guys go through?
Podcast Host 5
I lied at. When I was at ufc, I was like. I told Charo. I don't know why. I was like. She's like, how much did y' all drink? And I was like, we only went through, like, six bottles as a group, which is, like, wildly off. We had, like, at least nine.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
And we may have broken into wildly off, like, six. Nine. I mean, that's kind of a lot more like. It's either like half of the amount that I bought or all of the amount that I bought. And we drank pretty much everything.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
So he brought a bottle of champagne. Was he the only one who brought, like, liquor or something for the house? Oh, everyone brought, obviously. G brought schnobs, and Jack beared gifts when he came. Oh, right. That's right. I bought a bar Walker.
Thumbtack Representative
Is your mic on?
Podcast Host 3
I don't know. Is my mic on?
Podcast Host 5
Jack studied. He did the homework. Jack studied. He brought some Johnny Walker to the house.
Podcast Host 3
Did you ever try it?
Podcast Host 1
How'd you do that homework?
Podcast Host 5
Oh, yeah, I did, actually.
Podcast Host 4
That sealed.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. I mean, I'm forgetting a lot.
Podcast Host 5
I did try it. I did take a pull of that.
Podcast Host 3
How was it?
Podcast Host 5
Everything was good that day. Everything was.
Podcast Host 2
Jared pulled the. What? He almost pulled it in my head. My house.
Thumbtack Representative
N. I actually did it in his toast.
Podcast Host 1
I really thought, oh, yeah, two toast.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
I hit it right away.
Podcast Host 1
He was prompted by.
Podcast Host 3
Very excited to do the toast.
Podcast Host 1
I know. Which kind of bum me out.
Podcast Host 3
Thanks for coming.
Podcast Host 5
Well, it was just awkward. It was like, it's your.
Podcast Host 3
Your house, your moment.
Podcast Host 5
I don't know.
Podcast Host 1
You're crushing. As the host, I thought if it.
Podcast Host 5
Was just, like, the dudes there. But it's like, everyone's girlfriend's like, well, they don't get this. Like, is that weed all talked about? Like, Jared's going to do a toast. Then it's like, when everyone's actually there, it's kind of like.
Podcast Host 1
But, dude, that's.
Podcast Host 5
You know what I mean?
Podcast Host 1
Everybody understands the. The demon lore. Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
I don't know. I mean, I had a great time.
Thumbtack Representative
Out of you right now.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Trying so hard to sit normal.
Podcast Host 1
Go back to where you.
Thumbtack Representative
How you were comfortable, bro. Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
But, I mean, yeah, my MVP would probably be JP because of the yard games. Like, that was a game changer. Because, remember we were saying. I was like, I got the food, I got this. We got the drinks.
Podcast Host 1
Right.
Podcast Host 5
But it's like, I don't know.
Thumbtack Representative
There's another MVP candidate because we have music.
Podcast Host 5
Yes. That was. He said, can I bring anything? I said, speaker.
Podcast Host 3
No, it was my speaker.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
She's busting lore.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. Sorry. Inside jokes. Mitch. It was a.
Thumbtack Representative
One of those toast moments.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. He brought the. His neutral.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. What did everyone do before or after brunch? Before. UFC nap.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. We got some Mexican spot we hadn't tried yet. And it was pretty good, but I forget the name of it.
Thumbtack Representative
Wasn't that good.
Podcast Host 3
I went to two other people's houses.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, you did. You're like, I got more parties.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. I went to our buddy J.D. they had a couple people over his pool. It was a hot one, so I didn't even get in. But it was just nice to know that if I wanted to, I could have gotten in the pool. And then from there, went to our buddy Donnie. And if you've Keeping up with our streams, shout out.
Podcast Host 2
Donnie.
Podcast Host 3
He was in the. What was it? March Madness. He's a friend of the show, friend of the bus, but he lost his fantasy football league and had to do the 999 challenge. If you're not familiar with that. Nine beers, nine hot dogs, nine innings. A couple wrenches were thrown in, though one did not take place at a baseball game. They watched a baseball game. Which, honestly, for the person consuming all that huge win to not be in 95 degree weather eating and drinking that many calories. He's also gluten intolerant. So he was gluten free. Buns and seltzers, dude. I felt one of these buns. I don't know if it's something that's m. Oh, dude. Stale is an understatement. If you knocked on it, that's what it sounded like. And I was there when he finished his ninth hot dog, and he had, like, two more seltzers to go, and he was feeling it, but he seemed like he was in good spirits after that. They were watching Goldberg, the famous WWE.
Podcast Host 2
Wrestler, just cut right in front of this camera.
Podcast Host 3
So anyways, yeah, that was it. And then I went to ufc.
Thumbtack Representative
I love how you had him bring you too.
Podcast Host 1
We need Johnny. I did not sit on the podcast.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah, I'm sure he'd come whenever. Oh, yeah, I actually had somebody last night, our buddy Elijah, shout out. Elijah Dax, Very talented guy. He was like, when. When am I coming on? I think we're starting to create a couple waves here, people. The.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, Davey texted me. He's like, we need a Mitch's Boys pot. I'm like, I don't know if we can.
Thumbtack Representative
That's crazy. Davey.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, Davey. I don't know what you're thinking.
Podcast Host 5
When he went with, like, us and, like, not all y'. All.
Podcast Host 2
Davey would show up on the camera, though.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, he was on the podcast.
Thumbtack Representative
We'll never know.
Podcast Host 3
Are you willing to put your. Yeah, put your neck out for them, because if it bombs, like, obviously, like, we're gonna on them, but like, we're gonna on you longer because it's your boys.
Podcast Host 2
The.
Podcast Host 3
I mean, like, I. I'd love to have the monks. Those are my boys too.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
It doesn't sound like we're on that.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, no, no, no, no, no.
Podcast Host 3
Y' all are just gonna kill them.
Podcast Host 2
No, he said that like. Like, kind of like how Thomas came on and like, we're probably eventually gonna get Jack Jones and like, you're Elijah or just like your friends on.
Podcast Host 3
What are they bringing? You know, Tom brought his guitar.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, that's the thing.
Podcast Host 3
He's bringing some.
Podcast Host 2
My, like, my friends vibes aren't necessarily. Yeah, they'll definitely bring the good vibes, but they're not necessarily like.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 2
Talented enough to like.
Podcast Host 3
I love that foul on too, just to hash out.
Podcast Host 5
Episode would be.
Podcast Host 2
Foul would be funny on here just because, like. Like, we're the only ones that like. And busing. He's like part of bus and lore now because we've called him on the pod. We've mentioned him.
Podcast Host 5
He ate wings.
Podcast Host 1
He does his accent up more. A little bit.
Podcast Host 2
He did the WI contest.
Thumbtack Representative
That is so good, bro.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Who won that, by the way?
Podcast Host 1
Our team. Me, Matt and.
Podcast Host 2
Right.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, yeah.
Podcast Host 2
Was it Will team?
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Was it the monstar which Taylor still.
Podcast Host 1
Has to pay us?
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, they all had. They all had like the late text type gloves.
Podcast Host 1
Taylor is the richest guy in the world that never pays his debts.
Thumbtack Representative
So Taylor and all you guys know that.
Podcast Host 3
What was the bet?
Podcast Host 1
He will and Taylor bet. Okay. Whoever's team wins, the other person has to pay them like $300. Matt, 250 and.
Thumbtack Representative
Or like, split between the three of you each.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
What?
Podcast Host 5
Oh, you get 50.
Podcast Host 3
Obviously dads haven't been paid. Taylor's been back for eight minutes since he's been gone, but.
Podcast Host 1
So if you're out there and you also are a winner of a Taylor lawn giveaway, just know that it's not just you that's still waiting on their on there.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, hit the comment section and just say.
Podcast Host 3
Just say Taylor owes me money.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, you.
Podcast Host 3
But you have to comment and subscribe.
Thumbtack Representative
Yes, yes.
Podcast Host 1
That's a good. In between the brunch and the fights couple, he stopped by checks.
Podcast Host 3
Shout out checks, checkers or like, no.
Thumbtack Representative
Checks on like 51st wings.
Podcast Host 3
Oh, that place that you mentioned before, I need to check that place out too.
Podcast Host 4
Check out there like twice a week.
Thumbtack Representative
Maybe we have a function there.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, they would eat it up.
Podcast Host 2
So the Ubereats of June, I had like, what, like 50 or 60 bucks left each month.
Podcast Host 1
We get 150 for Uber Eats. Credit for. For food.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
That's how we get paid.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 2
I had, like, 50, 60 bucks at the end of the month. And obviously you want to.
Podcast Host 5
A Cheese.
Podcast Host 2
God.
Podcast Host 5
Sorry, guys.
Podcast Host 1
I know that's Cheese's phone because we were at the movies last night, and.
Thumbtack Representative
He'S got that thing on loud.
Podcast Host 1
He had the ringer on, and it was. It went off, luckily, just during the trailers.
Podcast Host 5
Trailers.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah. But. So going back to checks, I had, like, 50, $60 left in my Uber Eats. I got, like, close to 40 wings and five different flavors and just had a spread for myself, and I felt like an awful.
Podcast Host 5
Wait, you didn't share with anyone?
Podcast Host 2
I think I gave one or two to foul.
Podcast Host 5
I didn't know if it was like, you and.
Podcast Host 1
Bro, you put down 40.
Podcast Host 2
I had. I had, like, maybe 12 leftovers. I was housing.
Thumbtack Representative
So you had a small, like, strikeout.
Podcast Host 5
No, no, they're like. She had 20 something.
Podcast Host 2
No, I'm.
Podcast Host 5
It was maybe like, eight.
Thumbtack Representative
Here we go.
Podcast Host 1
Right? Yeah. 28 would be it if you order.
Podcast Host 2
No, I had 12. Yeah, two. I got two things at 10. That's 20, and I think two things of seven.
Thumbtack Representative
So 34.
Podcast Host 4
They gave you the right amount.
Podcast Host 3
And to 14 minus 26. I mean, so you had solid. That's pretty average.
Podcast Host 2
Well, yeah, but, like, over two. I mean, I'm not a wing connoisseur. Like, like, obviously, all of you guys are. I would like to say I think I did pretty good with the meat on the bone, but Shout out checks.
Thumbtack Representative
Out.
Podcast Host 1
It's better.
Podcast Host 3
Really?
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. You heard that?
Podcast Host 3
Are small wings better than big wings?
Podcast Host 1
Give me all the GMOs.
Podcast Host 5
You can honestly like smaller dogs.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, I think smaller.
Podcast Host 5
Smaller wings usually happen to be better because they're crispier.
Podcast Host 2
Are you a drum or a flat guy?
Podcast Host 5
No, flat.
Podcast Host 3
Flat.
Podcast Host 5
What was that? You flat? Completely.
Podcast Host 2
I used to be a drum guy.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. I think I've made this take on busing before. How you grow up being a drum guy.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
And then maturing is realizing you're actually a flats guy.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 2
How do you eat them?
Podcast Host 1
Coop used to get killed on how he eats him.
Podcast Host 2
What's that?
Podcast Host 4
No, that was. That was a witch hunt.
Podcast Host 3
How do you eat them?
Thumbtack Representative
Like, normal.
Podcast Host 1
He doesn't know what I'm. I forget what it was because I.
Podcast Host 4
Didn'T, like, just completely slurp it like it was a straw. I got roasted.
Podcast Host 1
You don't break.
Thumbtack Representative
No. Is that when we were coming back from Nebraska?
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
I just ate him you know, corn.
Podcast Host 3
On the cob style.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, he punches it out.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, I do.
Podcast Host 1
That is the punch.
Podcast Host 5
That's what I do.
Podcast Host 4
Ain't nothing wrong with that.
Podcast Host 2
I do like the whole tongue.
Thumbtack Representative
You eat it all.
Podcast Host 5
I just tongue punch it. You.
Podcast Host 3
You.
Podcast Host 2
You do the press down.
Podcast Host 3
You press down. Yeah, the umbrella tactic. I feel like you get all the meat off.
Podcast Host 5
I feel like that's like.
Podcast Host 1
I like to break it, cuz I do like the.
Podcast Host 5
Wait, you like break it in half?
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, if it's a flat, like you split the.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, vertically.
Podcast Host 1
Split the g. Vertically.
Thumbtack Representative
We need to try.
Podcast Host 2
What do you mean?
Podcast Host 5
Not horizontally.
Podcast Host 1
I mean, it depends how you're holding the wing.
Podcast Host 5
Like I don't know how it takes.
Podcast Host 2
The two bones and breaks them apart.
Podcast Host 5
Okay. That's different than breaking the two bones in half.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, yeah. You're not trying to get a bone, dude.
Podcast Host 5
Are you a caveman? Okay. See what you're saying. So.
Thumbtack Representative
So we're big wings this week.
Podcast Host 5
So y' all didn't hit y' alls in movie.
Podcast Host 3
I am trying to do a cookout. I'm trying to do a cookout of mine house soon.
Thumbtack Representative
Oh, yeah, Follow the brunch.
Podcast Host 3
We need to figure that out. Ideally when it's not going to be a million degrees out, but I got ac. We can always.
Thumbtack Representative
You get to Lazy river installed yet?
Podcast Host 3
No, it's coming soon though. I actually seriously am considering getting a koi pond in the backyard, but I am.
Podcast Host 1
She talked to my dad.
Podcast Host 3
Seriously?
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
Okay.
Podcast Host 1
Koi pond guy.
Thumbtack Representative
What's up, Hull?
Podcast Host 3
All right. Hey, Paul. Koi ponds.
Podcast Host 1
Jack here.
Podcast Host 3
I think it would take up an unnecessary amount of space, but imagine just be like, oh, yeah, come check out my koi pond.
Thumbtack Representative
They're all just your koi boys.
Podcast Host 3
Your koi.
Podcast Host 1
You're have to get netting over it.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, you do you.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. Different birds.
Podcast Host 5
Mackenzie's parents might fall.
Podcast Host 1
The birds drown.
Podcast Host 2
Aren't koi's like huge?
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
Like, are they hard to maintain?
Podcast Host 5
No, you just pour phone. You just pour some.
Thumbtack Representative
You should just get some largemouth bass, get some goldfish.
Podcast Host 3
Or just the whole backyard's a pond.
Podcast Host 1
There you're talking.
Podcast Host 2
Now you're thinking. Cuz you do own that house. I mean, you can do whatever you want.
Thumbtack Representative
We could jump out of the tree.
Podcast Host 3
That would be sweet. Just having a pool is so.
Podcast Host 5
Making a wave pool.
Podcast Host 3
So sweet. Yeah, I mean that too. I. I think we need we circle back to the Lazy river. I think that installment would be by far the best addition to my house.
Podcast Host 5
And cheap probably.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 1
I mean, XRP is flying right now, so, yeah, Lazy river is nothing.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. Jp, as our head of crypto on back of the. Is there any coins we need to be in, or is it just xrp?
Podcast Host 1
If you are looking for the meme coins to get into bonk coin, this.
Podcast Host 5
Is not financial advice.
Podcast Host 1
Not at all. But you guys can blame Garrett for my recent obsession with crypto, because he was the one that put me on xrp.
Podcast Host 3
Oh, wow.
Podcast Host 1
And since then, I just been.
Podcast Host 3
So you're a resident crypto advisor.
Thumbtack Representative
I'm just like the in the shadows.
Podcast Host 3
Senior resident crypto advisor, senior director.
Podcast Host 1
I'm junior. But the bonk coin, it's worth, like, I don't even know the exact number. Three of a cent. And I got in. I own 1.5 million of them. And it's say that proudly. We're up 40% in two days.
Podcast Host 5
Let's go. Why are you looking at me like.
Thumbtack Representative
I doubted you did it because of you.
Podcast Host 2
You can't even see.
Podcast Host 1
But, yeah, that's it for our crypto segment. Buy XRP. They say $3 is. It's high right now, but in five years, why would I say earlier, you've never seen $30 on sale for $3. That's what it is right now. This is not financial advice.
Thumbtack Representative
Hey, blow the comments with some crypto advice.
Podcast Host 1
But if we're talking about financials. Getting into the ufc, it was an awesome night of fights, and Jared did backstab.
Podcast Host 3
I just bought 2.5 million of bonk coin.
Podcast Host 1
So now you're majority shareholder of it. Yeah. You control the market.
Thumbtack Representative
Senior, senior executive locking in.
Podcast Host 3
But yeah, UFC fight.
Podcast Host 4
You're supposed to save Jared from story time.
Podcast Host 3
Oh, I want to hear this, though.
Podcast Host 4
Oh, never mind.
Podcast Host 5
It's not even that. Like, what story?
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, Jared, for the sake of money, he backstabbed me.
Podcast Host 5
I didn't know that.
Thumbtack Representative
Is this what happened at brunch?
Podcast Host 1
No, this is ufc.
Podcast Host 5
That backs up someone at brunch.
Thumbtack Representative
Jp, this was backstabbing weeks.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, my gosh.
Thumbtack Representative
We have to talk about this.
Podcast Host 5
No, come on. I really didn't think we would.
Podcast Host 1
Someone somewhat. Who wants to explain that?
Podcast Host 5
I thought we could get around this.
Thumbtack Representative
Listen, this happened at brunch. This was towards the end. We're all playing pickleball. Like we just said, it was pickleball.
Podcast Host 1
That would be sick.
Thumbtack Representative
Spike ball.
Podcast Host 1
What's next?
Thumbtack Representative
We've all been in this situation where you're watching a TV show, either with your girlfriend, your wife, your friends, your roommates, whatever it is. And maybe for Some reason one night, no one else can watch. But you're trying to sneak an episode and you're going to keep it to yourself that you've already watched the episode, but you will rewatch with the squad, with your girl, whoever. And we all watch Severance. Obviously, we're big fans of Severance. JP watch the most difficult episode of Severance by himself, knowing that he was gonna have to watch it again. He told us because obviously we got to talk about Severance when we get in the shop. But it never left the building.
Podcast Host 4
Told us in confidence.
Thumbtack Representative
Yes, never left the building. Word on the back end of brunch, and Jared's mingling with the.
Podcast Host 5
With the women as I do. I gotta throw myself something here. So I'm about to take a huge.
Thumbtack Representative
L, and out of nowhere, we hear some comment or whatever interrupts our game. And Jared.
Podcast Host 5
This sobered me up. When it happened, I was like, jared.
Thumbtack Representative
Just spilled the beans to sit in the. JP watch Severance. And that was the first time she heard about it. So JP held on to that.
Podcast Host 2
How did that even come up in conversation?
Podcast Host 1
Exactly. No reason for.
Thumbtack Representative
This is where Jared takes over.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
We had been talking, like, deep, like, into TV shows. We were talking TV shows that whole time. In my head, it felt like hours. It was probably 10 minutes. I don't know how long we were actually talking. But, like, we were getting into Severance. We were talking about all those episodes. Like, we're talking, like, this episode. Like, do you remember the end of the season? Like, oh, you remember that throwaway episode? And somehow that episode. I mean, you can fact check me with sitting, and I wouldn't even stand on anything. I might be wrong. I think this is how it went. I think we brought up that episode as a group. And I was like, I just thought that was a little funny anecdote that, like, I thought, like, you probably. In my head. I'm not defending it. I'm wrong. I thought, like, y' all probably finished that episode together. Like, the shitty one. It's the Cobell episode or whatever. And you're probably like. Like, when you both are like, that sucked. And you're like, I watched that last night. I just had to watch it twice. I don't know why I assume that. I was hammered. I'm wrong. I did say it. Like, we were all talking about that episode and I was like, oh, like, I don't know how I introduced it. I was like, yeah, like, jp, like, when he watched that without you. And then like, she's like, what, bro? I'm sure Sid was like, what? She didn't like, actually, like, she was laughing. And then they started, like, more just.
Podcast Host 1
Like, okay, let me share what happened.
Thumbtack Representative
Later on because they didn't get Mexican food.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, me and Sin broke and like, yeah, we keep working, working backwards into the UFC fight. But spoiler, that UFC night, minus a few decisions that the judges made, was one of the best nights of my life.
Thumbtack Representative
Feast.
Podcast Host 1
And I'm for real. I'm riding high on the UFC night. Like, truly one of the best cards ever. Everything about it. Everybody sitting in the same section, the whole thing. So I'm like, laying in bed, literally, have probably said five times, like, man, I do not want this night to end. And sitting. One of the last things she says. What was that?
Thumbtack Representative
A hint.
Podcast Host 1
A hint.
Podcast Host 5
I don't want night to end.
Podcast Host 1
It wasn't cuz. Jared.
Podcast Host 5
And one more thing.
Podcast Host 1
She was like, so are you gonna say you're sorry? Oh, and I'm thinking it's not. Not even in my head at all. I'm like, for what? Like, we just had the greatest. Having a. You're sitting next to Luke Combs all night.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Podcast Host 1
I'm like, what do I have to say sorry for?
Podcast Host 5
You're welcome.
Podcast Host 1
And then I was like, yeah. It's like, about what? She was like, the severance episode. I was like, no, I'm not saying sorry. She's like, why not? All you need to do. It's like, this is playful. All you need to do is say you're sorry. And then, you know, like, me and you are good. I was like, I'm not saying sorry because I would do it again. I was like, I had to do it. I wanted to be in conversation with the boys and I needed to watch it. And then, honestly, I just forgot that I watched it and I didn't tell you.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, so you would have told her, but you forgot. So there it is.
Podcast Host 1
I never told her. And she was like, just say sorry. She kept peppering me. And I was like, I'm sorry. Rolled over, went to bed.
Podcast Host 5
I'm glad that you manned up there.
Podcast Host 2
No cuddles or anything.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah, not even. Nothing that's.
Podcast Host 5
I mean, I feel bad a second ago.
Podcast Host 2
Split in between jp.
Podcast Host 5
I felt bad a second ago, but now that just sounds like a you thing.
Podcast Host 1
I think you might be the only one that feels that way.
Podcast Host 5
You. You said that you would have told her, but you forgot, so that's.
Podcast Host 1
I never told her.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. It goes to the grave, right?
Podcast Host 4
It's crazy. You can hold on to that for months. And then Jared can just sneak you whenever.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
It's not the only time Jared sneaked us, though.
Podcast Host 1
I haven't spoken to Jared one on one since, but months feel good.
Thumbtack Representative
That was, like, February.
Podcast Host 5
Now we talked one on one.
Podcast Host 1
I, like, I'd like to have a third person whenever we talk.
Thumbtack Representative
I don't even know, but, like, this is. This is normal behavior.
Podcast Host 1
I know this isn't the first time.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
But the months later sneak is just. That's tough.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah. The first one was maybe like a week or two later.
Podcast Host 5
I'm not gonna act like I'm sorry. I don't care.
Podcast Host 1
We know you don't for the bit.
Podcast Host 5
I'm sorry.
Podcast Host 2
So get to the UFC night.
Podcast Host 1
How was everybody's the first. First UFC experience coupe, right?
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
Dude, I was so excited to go. One thing that I love.
Podcast Host 5
Could you talk less into the mic?
Podcast Host 4
Anyways. Anyways, one thing I was, like, looking forward to was, like, seeing, like, just the environment. The lights, I thought were so sick. Y' all talked about it before how the lights, like, in between the rounds are, like, on. It's like, the building's lively because, like, obviously the rounds, like, the in between the rounds isn't that long, but then it just, like, goes pitch black, and the light just shines right down on the ring, which is so cool because you don't see that, like, on the broadcast.
Podcast Host 1
What a good description.
Podcast Host 4
But seeing that, like, in person, like, every round was just so sick. And we had a great. We agreed, like, great seats with them, too.
Podcast Host 3
Mm.
Podcast Host 4
Yeah. And just, like, a great view. And it was. It was sick. How do you, like.
Podcast Host 1
How do you feel?
Podcast Host 4
She really enjoyed it, y'.
Podcast Host 5
All. Front row. They took, like, Will and Charo seat.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah, we were.
Podcast Host 4
We went down to the front row this week. But, like, she loved it.
Podcast Host 3
It's.
Podcast Host 4
I don't think it's something that she's, like, really into as much. So, like, it was all new to her. I mean, it was new to me as well, because, like, I've been doing event, but that was, like, a bucket list saying for sure. So I'm glad. I'm glad I could get a plus one and that she could come because that was. That was fun. Yeah, I really enjoyed it.
Thumbtack Representative
It's so sick. Jared, I mean, that was your second one this month.
Podcast Host 5
I honestly, no, I can't say I enjoyed that one more. But, like, that one was so good. Like, you're saying, like, every fight was great. The vibes were high because we were all together. Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
And that final fight was just so, so hype. Like, I wanted to see a moment like that because the other fights were good. They went like. Like prelims. We missed some of them, but, like, the. The main fights, like, they went the distance a little bit. Like, they were good fights, but I wanted to see just, like, a moment where, like, and the crowd erupted. And hearing that in person is just so sick. The build up, because the crowd's hype. It's. It's like 30 seconds into, like, the main event, and you just see a body drop, and then the crowd just goes crazy, and it just builds and builds and builds. Fight gets called, and it just erupts. It was. It was sick.
Podcast Host 1
And that truly is a moment that will be replayed in UFC history forever.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 1
And so to be there is, like, even more special.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. We needed Derek Lewis to win so bad for the chance at a moment like that.
Podcast Host 1
Right.
Thumbtack Representative
And we were lucky enough.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
It was perfect. It was.
Podcast Host 5
I have a question for y'. All. When you're live at a UFC event, do y' all struggle with. I mean, I know y' all eventually move ringside, so it's not like that, but when you're in the suite, do you struggle trying not to look at the big screen? Does that make sense? Yeah. I try to force myself to look at the rings. I'm like, I can always watch this again, even though it's easier to look at that, if that makes sense.
Thumbtack Representative
When we were up in the suite, I caught myself, like, going back and forth, and I think I even said to Will, I was like, dude, like, the screen's almost too big, like, so good.
Podcast Host 5
And you're like, it's. It's too tempting to look right there.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
I was forcing myself to have to look at the rings. I was like, this is like, what your memory. I want my memory to be this, not a screen of it.
Thumbtack Representative
Right.
Podcast Host 5
That's, like, the most non relatable thing to say.
Podcast Host 2
But, no, I feel like that same thing at, like, football games.
Podcast Host 5
Yes.
Podcast Host 2
Like, the big board. Rather than trying to watch the field.
Podcast Host 5
Even a concert or something like that.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. I think go to an MVP of where we were sitting. Dude, this is a credit to Tennessee Coach Vitello, the man. If you, like, if you are a high school baseball player, I don't know how that guy doesn't come into your house and you don't immediately sign with him.
Podcast Host 3
He might as well just have.
Thumbtack Representative
We.
Podcast Host 3
It was basically like Mitch being there. Like, it was just one of the boys, right?
Podcast Host 5
It was sick.
Podcast Host 3
He and that JP got the greatest video, and Derrick Lewis wins. And it's just like, textbooks. Execution of phone content. Gets the moon, gets Will, gets Vitello, gets Garrett, gets me, gets Bozeman, Will Levis and Chigger behind us. But Vitello just. His vibes are all time. When they left right between Wonder Boy's fight and Derek Lewis's fight, they were like, y' all need anything from, like, the concessions? Like, you need a beer? And I was like, nah, man. And then he walked around. I was like, I kind of do need a beer. Beer. But didn't happen. But he. He is all.
Thumbtack Representative
I wish I would have gotten the guy that was with him's name. He looks very familiar.
Podcast Host 4
He was.
Podcast Host 3
I don't know, boys or if it.
Thumbtack Representative
Was like, he was hilarious. He was a vibe.
Podcast Host 1
Vitella's hat was swaggy.
Podcast Host 3
I know I was kind of not sold on at first, and then I caught him in a different light, and I was like, this is. That hat actually goes for him.
Podcast Host 1
And he was. When they were gonna put the camera on him, they asked him. They're like, hey, coach, we're gonna do, you know, a little solo shot. He was like, I got this stupid ass hat on. I can't do that. I'm like, bro, you decided to wear this. Like, this hat is fire.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. Dripping.
Podcast Host 1
And then he did crush it.
Podcast Host 3
It was just a flat brim, like.
Thumbtack Representative
A custom, you know, one of those.
Podcast Host 3
Like, you know, like a fly western.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 2
Like, it's, like, flat all the way around.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. Like.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
Something that, like, the lumineers would have wore, like.
Podcast Host 1
Right.
Thumbtack Representative
It had, like, a cool, like, paint splatter, like, deal.
Podcast Host 3
Custom.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, it was sick.
Podcast Host 1
And after the video, even, because, you know, coaches can sometimes be, like, they don't want stuff out there. They try to be private. He's like, dude, you have to post that. That was sick.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
They were a huge night for content. At first. They hit Luke Combs and my boy Bozeman, who you guys all know, he's one of our best friends. He came with me. Huge UFC guy. He does not care one bit about social media or anything that operates online. And he got in the background of Luke Combs's celebrity shot, and he looks as handsome as he's ever looked in his life. Jaw is just so defined. White cheese and. Yeah, cheese. Him and I. He made the UFC Instagram, and I showed him, and he was like, all right. I was like, okay, off one.
Thumbtack Representative
Take him one time.
Podcast Host 3
And then. And then they Show Will Garrett's in the back doing his thing. JP gets some time doing nothing. It's got time. Even. My ex girlfriend texted Atlantis and was like, I just saw you on the screen.
Podcast Host 5
I was like, that was a while.
Podcast Host 3
I was like, text her and say, I'm right next to you, too.
Podcast Host 1
Say Jack sitting in front of me.
Podcast Host 3
Actually, I chose to. Chose to be out of it for your sake.
Thumbtack Representative
I mean, other than the Derek Lewis moment, there was one other moment that couldn't have been cooler, and it was during the Wonder boy fight, bro.
Podcast Host 5
864.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, 864.
Thumbtack Representative
864.
Podcast Host 1
865 is a soft area code.
Thumbtack Representative
Is that Clemson?
Podcast Host 3
That's Knoxville.
Thumbtack Representative
Oh, golly damn.
Podcast Host 3
Oh, dude, respect you.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. But to tee it up.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, my gosh.
Thumbtack Representative
You got to talk about Wonderboy and what happened.
Podcast Host 1
We've had so many cool moments with the job at UFC fights, but nothing will top Wonder Boy. End of the second round, as he's putting the beating on him, the whistle blows. He turns around. We're going nuts, because we're like, this is it. He's definitely winning this fight. He sees all of us in the front, front row, makes direct eye contact with me, hits the wink. And I watched a replay yesterday, and I was showing Garrett. I was like, look, they got it on. And you could see him do it. But, dude, like, being from Greenville is not that big of a city, especially it's a lot bigger now than when we were growing up. So Wonder Boy is like the guy in Greenville. So I had always known about in my whole life then. Their family was one of the reasons I got this job, too, because when I was first getting to be videography, they let me come film Wonder Boy ahead of one of his fights. And so that was the first time I met him. And because he let me do that, I was able to get into, like, Michael Chandler's gym, get in with all these other athletes, because they saw that I did stuff with Wonder Boy. So I'm forever indebted to the Thompson family. So to watch him fight in person, hometown connections. You guys met him at the wedding, so y' all have a connection.
Podcast Host 5
It's so cool that he was at your wedding, right?
Podcast Host 1
And then just so sick.
Podcast Host 5
I heard y' all say that casually. I was like, that's sick.
Podcast Host 1
And for him to notice in Peak Battle that we're sitting there and he shot me a DM after, like, you know, thanks for the support. Appreciate you. It's just freaking peak. Especially as a fight fan, too. I'M like, nothing will get better.
Thumbtack Representative
It was such a moment. We. We were up standing. Yeah. For him walking back to his corner, and he gives you the wink. And I pushed you.
Podcast Host 3
We all went, bro.
Thumbtack Representative
When I was going, jp, When I pushed you, I didn't. I don't think I realized how hard hard I pushed you. And I looked at you, and you, like, had to take a step forward. Dude. It was an iconic moment, man.
Podcast Host 1
I wish I. In that moment, he got robbed.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, he did.
Podcast Host 1
And I look too back.
Podcast Host 3
Jared's pretty stoked about that.
Thumbtack Representative
That's what I wanted to ask you. Do they value takedowns more than dude?
Podcast Host 1
Apparently, yeah. Because he landed more strikes everywhere. The dude didn't even do damage. When he did take him down, Wonder Boy got up, like, every single time. Maybe the dude put damage on him once.
Thumbtack Representative
The gash in the knee was Wonder Boy did that to himself.
Podcast Host 1
Right.
Podcast Host 5
That looked bad.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. You're stoked when that happened?
Podcast Host 5
No, because I'm trying my hardest to be, like, pro Jared.
Podcast Host 2
Have a bed again.
Podcast Host 5
I didn't know Wonder Boys.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
I didn't know, Like, I even heard one of y'. All Couldn't hear him. I think it was you saying jokingly, like, I didn't even know his, like, government. Like, the name that's on the bet slip.
Podcast Host 1
Yes.
Podcast Host 5
Like, I don't know why, but, yeah, I basically. When they all went down ringside, Will told me. He's like, we got an empty suite now. Like, if you got eight boys here. And I had three friends that were sitting right in front of the suite. So they came up. When they came up, my only bet of the night was I had one for Lewis to win. And my friends that came up, I was like, let me get, like, whatever parlay y' all are on. I didn't even look at it. And it was against basically every favorite, and we hit all the way up until Derrick Lewis, and they bet against Derek Lewis. So then I hedged my bet perfectly where it was like, derek Lewis wins. I win way more. If I don't, I win this parlay against all, like, Wonder Boy and some other guy, like, maybe the Tennessee guy. He lost. Right.
Podcast Host 1
That fell apart quick for.
Podcast Host 3
I don't even.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. And I bet again. I bet against him, too. So the whole time, we're just bet, like, we're cheering against the crowd. It was, like, brutal. But, I mean, yeah, I made, like, 200 bucks. Like 160 or something like that.
Podcast Host 1
Happy for you, man.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. They had it make money off of the bet though, that went against Wonder Boy.
Thumbtack Representative
So during the wonder boy fight, they're like, you know, showing the age where they're from record. You can hear Chig and Levis and the guy it's behind going, 42. Damn, this old.
Podcast Host 5
He's 42.
Podcast Host 1
42.
Thumbtack Representative
They start fighting and wonderful. Piecing him up.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
They're like, come on, show that young.
Podcast Host 1
And how to fight.
Thumbtack Representative
Just yell.
Podcast Host 1
He's got the gray hair now. Going a little bit.
Podcast Host 5
Did not know he was one of them.
Thumbtack Representative
Was like, bro, looks like Steve Kerr.
Podcast Host 3
And they all fell out laughing, crying when they said that.
Thumbtack Representative
It was so funny. It was a good vibe down there. I saw Earn.
Podcast Host 3
I love. What?
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, I was so pissed I didn't go like at the mo. At the moment, like, obviously, like seeing all the videos and stuff that I'm just pissed I didn't go. And then hearing everything right now makes it 10 times worse.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, this probably sucks. You guys are. All we're doing is talking about Saturday.
Podcast Host 2
No, I know. And like just how awesome it was. I'm like, even.
Podcast Host 3
I was there all day.
Thumbtack Representative
It was. It was cool.
Podcast Host 5
It was what a day.
Podcast Host 3
It was one of those days that. And I'm not trying to like pour salt in the wound. It's one of those just like iconic busing days.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, it's one of those days.
Thumbtack Representative
It truly was like our own, like.
Podcast Host 1
Core memory because we didn't have to film at the fights either.
Podcast Host 3
That was awesome.
Podcast Host 5
Cheese tried to bring the camera. I said, cheese, leave it at home.
Podcast Host 3
I said, this is with the brunch.
Podcast Host 4
He was getting plenty of iPhone videos there. Every fight he had his perched up just recording the fight.
Podcast Host 5
That's all I did. Just.
Podcast Host 1
He put together a nice threat.
Podcast Host 3
Did he? Yeah, he did actually.
Podcast Host 5
Coop, how about those two guys that just came in the suite? It was only me and you that saw it. Did you not see them?
Podcast Host 4
I probably just thought they were your boys.
Podcast Host 5
No, there's these two random guys. Just like after my boys are in there, these two guys just walk in and we're like kind of have longer hair. No, they didn't speak good English. And they were like, like, hey, like we. We just want a picture. And I was like, oh, you want a picture? Like, with who? Like thinking that they knew it was.
Podcast Host 4
I straight up think they were.
Podcast Host 3
I thought they were your boys.
Podcast Host 5
Like, I thought they were one. Anybody who's in there.
Thumbtack Representative
Hospital.
Podcast Host 5
No, cuz I thought they were going to ask for Will and then I was going to explain. Like he just left and they're like, we want a picture. I was like, oh, like, with Will. And they're like, who? They're like, we just want a picture. Like, with the UFC in the background. I was like, oh, I get. Yeah, you can go up there and take a picture. So they go up there. I'm like, you want me to take it? And they're like, no, we'll take it of each other. Like, we'll get one of both of us later on. I was like, later on? Like, how. How long we're gonna be in. They take one of each other.
Thumbtack Representative
That check your pockets after?
Podcast Host 5
No. So I kind of kicked them out. So then they, like, took a picture of each other, and then they kind of stood there watching for a little bit. I was like, so y' all want to get that picture together? And they will do a little bit later. I was like, I think y' all could, like. We could just go ahead and do it. And they're like, all right. And I take it of them, and then they kind of stand a little bit longer. I was like, so, y' all done? And they were just like, oh, with, like. With what? I was like, I mean, this is like.
Podcast Host 3
I would have kicked them out. So I did it nicely.
Podcast Host 5
I was like, I mean, like, you can't. Like, this is kind of our. Like, we paid for this. Yeah. I was like, it's kind of our place now. And they're like, oh, okay. And they just left. And we were all like, how the hell did they, like, just come in?
Podcast Host 1
No security.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah. Because I just walk.
Podcast Host 4
They didn't even check our tickets, even when.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, that is true.
Podcast Host 2
Because that happened when we were at the Blink 182 concert, too.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. And got stolen.
Podcast Host 2
Oh, yeah.
Podcast Host 3
And I tracked him down, and they.
Podcast Host 2
And they bought, like, a bottle of champagne and Taylor Hinge.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah, of course.
Podcast Host 2
But.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, you guys look familiar.
Podcast Host 2
That sucks that I wasn't there.
Podcast Host 5
But it was golf fun.
Podcast Host 2
I mean, as fun as golf can be shooting in 99.
Thumbtack Representative
Where'd y' all play?
Podcast Host 2
Hermitage. President's Reserve.
Thumbtack Representative
Such a fun course, but it was.
Podcast Host 2
They just aerated it.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
That sucks. It was terrible.
Podcast Host 2
And it was still. It was still, like, 110 bucks. I'm like, what do we.
Podcast Host 3
Was it hot as hell?
Podcast Host 2
Oh, yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. I played on Sunday, and it was cooking.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Did you find the apartment of your dreams and it's another thing you had to do?
Podcast Host 1
No, Mitch is on the apartment hunt yesterday.
Podcast Host 5
Flop.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, so we went to the. We went to one at the Guthrie and Like North Gulch or like Capitol View, I guess it's called. And we had one at 4:30. That tour didn't get started until, like 4:45 because this girl didn't know what the hell she was doing with, like, her emails and shit like that. And then we had another1of5:15. And then the traffic in the gulch was so bad we didn't make that one. So then we have the same one that we were supposed to have yesterday at 5:15. Today at 5:15. But yeah, I still am not in love.
Thumbtack Representative
There's like a hundred apartments. You haven't, like, found one.
Podcast Host 2
I know. I. I want to look.
Thumbtack Representative
Why don't y' all just find a crib?
Podcast Host 2
Because Brooke wants to live nations. Brooke still wants to have a place with, like, a pool. Be able to sit outside of it.
Podcast Host 1
We got a pool.
Podcast Host 3
There's a really nice one in Wedgwood.
Podcast Host 2
I want to look according. But Brooke doesn't want to be that far away from downtown.
Podcast Host 1
Dude, it's like 10 minutes.
Podcast Host 2
Trust me, I know.
Podcast Host 5
What about.
Podcast Host 4
Hey, there's a lot of time cars get broken into.
Podcast Host 2
Wedgwood. We are going to look at Wedgwood because there's a bunch, a couple.
Podcast Host 3
I can't remember the name of it. One of my friends lives in the green.
Thumbtack Representative
Whatever that green one is.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, the one that broads are saying.
Podcast Host 3
Dead center of the Gulch. I mean, of Wedgwood. Houston. Awesome pool.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah, I want to check Houston.
Podcast Host 4
I looked at. I forgot what it's called.
Thumbtack Representative
Is this simply one of them Assembly Standard?
Podcast Host 4
Assembly is the one I would do.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Wait, I thought that's where you go to eat on Broadway.
Podcast Host 1
That's Assembly Food Hall.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, gas. Gas.
Podcast Host 3
It's pretty average, I'd say.
Thumbtack Representative
No, it's like the Opry Mills Mall Food Court Better.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. No, but it's like a. It's a mall food court that's like. It's a step above that. Maybe two.
Thumbtack Representative
I mean, it doesn't have chilies or Ms. Kelly's.
Podcast Host 5
That pizza place I threw up.
Podcast Host 3
Honestly, it's a step below.
Podcast Host 2
I threw up Velvet Taco from there.
Thumbtack Representative
That's why you don't eat Velvet Taco.
Podcast Host 2
I was. It was from drinking.
Thumbtack Representative
Okay.
Podcast Host 1
I might be on to one of the best new restaurants in Nashville this weekend. I can't wait to report back later.
Thumbtack Representative
Are you gonna go try it?
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, I have a reservation Sunday at 7.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, where? Dang.
Podcast Host 1
No, no. It's called Meat Kitchen.
Podcast Host 5
Meat Kitchen.
Podcast Host 1
Franklin. You won't like it. It's like Korean, Asian food.
Podcast Host 5
That sounds great.
Podcast Host 2
We're gonna get to that dog.
Podcast Host 1
We can. How long have we been going back?
Thumbtack Representative
Are you entertained this week?
Podcast Host 3
Huh?
Thumbtack Representative
Right into the mic, hooker.
Podcast Host 1
Nice. Good.
Podcast Host 5
Can you see we want to end it on.
Podcast Host 2
On that.
Podcast Host 3
I don't know. Maybe.
Podcast Host 1
I mean, this. This can be fast.
Podcast Host 3
No, no, we need to talk.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, we need to talk about this.
Podcast Host 1
Because I think we're pro.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Podcast Host 1
Either we're split, or maybe I'm on island.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah, that one was tough. So the question is, is it appropriate to sleep with your dog?
Podcast Host 5
Oh, yeah. Okay.
Podcast Host 3
That's in the literal sense.
Podcast Host 5
I think it. I think it's crazy as a dog owner not to sleep in the bed with your dog. Like, that's, like half the joy of.
Podcast Host 4
Having a dog is cuddling dog on the couch, though.
Podcast Host 5
Like, dog everywhere, dog wherever dog wants.
Podcast Host 4
To be in the sheets.
Podcast Host 3
In the sheets.
Podcast Host 5
Isn't she's a puppy right now, so.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah, she's kind of under the COVID Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
That's crazy.
Podcast Host 3
That's hilarious.
Podcast Host 2
Let me tell you why.
Podcast Host 5
I mean, no, but, like, she puts her head on my pillow, so I.
Podcast Host 3
I. JP was saying that he doesn't like the idea of hair waking up. I. I have a dog. From day one, she slept in my bed, but I have a specific dog comforter that lays on her side of the bed that she will sleep on. So for these reasons, I'm sure that she bounces around from time to time and, like, pops up on my side a little bit. But I. I agree. I don't like waking up and having dog hair. Bonnie doesn't shed, like, insanely amounts of a husky, but she sheds a healthy amount. And so, yeah, I can definitely understand that idea, but I love my dog sleeping on my bed.
Thumbtack Representative
It's one of those. I feel like you know what you're getting into, though, when you have a.
Podcast Host 3
Dog that's fully sleep by myself, so.
Thumbtack Representative
There'S plenty of room.
Podcast Host 3
I have a king. No big deal. But you have a girlfriend and two dogs, so, like, you're probably touching everyone.
Podcast Host 5
We.
Podcast Host 3
At the same time.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, we want that. We. We want the bed to be full of dogs, and I think G hit it the most, which might just be a compromise. It's like, you know what you're getting, so I know what I'm getting.
Podcast Host 1
And that's how we grew up. Like, no dogs on the couch, no dogs on the bed.
Podcast Host 5
That. Yeah. And that's how you grew up that way.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah. But to me, when I. When I think of. I know What I'm getting into. Like, I know what I'm getting into.
Thumbtack Representative
Of, like, how you want it.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, exactly.
Podcast Host 5
But that's fair if you want it like that. I just don't think it's gross that I want my dogs in my bed. You know what I'm saying? Like, I respect that. Like, yeah, that's completely fine. I just think it's not, like, gross to have the dogs in the bed.
Podcast Host 1
You just been showing up with dog hair on your face.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, maybe. Maybe we'll take a picture of the back of Jared's car.
Podcast Host 2
My. We like my dog at home. Like, we'll have a couch, and he's not allowed on the couch. But then if you put, like, this special blanket on, then he knows. Okay, yeah, I'm allowed.
Podcast Host 5
When I was a kid, we would do that.
Podcast Host 1
Rock with that.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, but, like, then I became an adult. I was like, I'm just gonna do.
Thumbtack Representative
It, like, and not click it up.
Podcast Host 1
I grew it up. Not clean freak, but, like, you're a clean, organized guy.
Podcast Host 5
My house is, like, spotless.
Podcast Host 2
You have to vacuum every day.
Podcast Host 5
What y' all would y' all see?
Podcast Host 3
Do you vacuum every day?
Podcast Host 5
Like, every other.
Podcast Host 3
Are yours in Kenzie? Like, that's a genuine question. Who's that? Like, y' all take shifts cleaning? Yeah. Or is it, like, I probably clean.
Podcast Host 5
The most just because I, like, am a clean freak? I literally enjoy the act of cleaning.
Thumbtack Representative
Your office was clean?
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Wait, what was dirty?
Podcast Host 1
I love his organization.
Podcast Host 5
I was getting so self conscious.
Thumbtack Representative
It's just your car.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, my car's. Yeah. So the back seat of my car, which is what, Yeah, I guess you are alluding to, is a hairball mess. Because the whole thing is just, like, people aren't in my backseat that often. My dogs are my backseat more than people are. And it's like, I could vacuum it tonight and it would be spotless. And then, like, if she wants to go in the car tomorrow, it's like, yeah, you're cooked. One of those things. Like, yeah, maybe I'll clean it. But it's like, it's actually clean. Like, there's nothing back there except dog hair. And there is one of those protective.
Thumbtack Representative
Blankets and a grill and towel warmer.
Podcast Host 5
Well, right now there is a towel warmer and a grill back there, but that will be removed.
Podcast Host 1
I think everybody. So I guess everybody is dog on bed.
Podcast Host 3
Maybe in bed, though, right?
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, I think.
Podcast Host 5
I think it's that big of a difference. Like, she's a puppy right now.
Thumbtack Representative
To look at a dog and be like, no.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
You can't get up here. Even though I really want you up here. But I do think you have, you have the top blanket for them.
Podcast Host 5
I fully respect not having the dog.
Thumbtack Representative
In the back there.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
I just want to. I just want to be able to have dog.
Podcast Host 2
I'm like a mover when I sleep, so like Koda will sleep with me when I'm at home. Sometimes I only have a full bed back home, so it's a bit tighter spooning and yeah, it's like he takes up the bottom quarter of the bed, so it's tough to move. But if you were in a bigger bed, like I could see it. I would much rather have dog on couch than dog in bed.
Podcast Host 4
Yeah, I feel like dog on couch is acceptable both to get back on Jared's side a little bit. But back home, my dog gets on whatever she wants.
Podcast Host 5
I think I've said this twice, but I'm not against y'. All. I'm just, I'm trying to argue that y' all aren't against dog in bed. Does that make sense?
Podcast Host 2
I'm not against it.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Dog in bed.
Podcast Host 4
Dog in bed is what's great.
Podcast Host 3
I'm just shocked. The dog likes to be in the bed.
Thumbtack Representative
She.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, she would never. Not if I were to do that.
Podcast Host 3
To my dog within a minute she would have removed herself from under the COVID It's fully.
Podcast Host 5
Because like when she gets bigger, like Blue sleeps. Blue, my massive husky, she sleeps on the bed. When Maple gets like maybe a step bigger, she will never go into the sheet. It's because she's like a puppy right now. She curls up by us and that just happens to kind of be like, kind of where the blankets get pulled up. It's not really on purpose. It's just kind of like she's tiny. She just kind of sleeps. She can to our face.
Podcast Host 1
What worries me like, so Bonnie is like a very well tempered dog. She's not like a maniac, she's not a nut. She listens to Jack. A lot of dogs that I see that are maniacs, they also sleep on the bed.
Thumbtack Representative
And so that's where I'm Opened the door.
Podcast Host 3
Training dogs is very important at a young age. And I didn't do that, but I got.
Thumbtack Representative
You tried.
Podcast Host 3
I tried. And Bonnie, she has good temper.
Thumbtack Representative
She was a lock.
Podcast Host 5
Ours are both trained, so.
Podcast Host 3
But yeah, I think in most scenarios it's good to crate train your dog and don't have them on the bed for at least the first nine months to a year. You'll you're gonna be fine.
Podcast Host 5
Oh, no, we definitely.
Podcast Host 1
We.
Podcast Host 5
We did, like, the first, like, few weeks. At night. I mean, during the day. In the day, she's in the crate.
Podcast Host 1
Right.
Podcast Host 5
They're both crate trained.
Podcast Host 1
But. And, yeah, I just. I. It's what. What he just said about it. Like, it just opens the door to it to where?
Podcast Host 3
Like, they own it now.
Podcast Host 1
If a dog. Like, if a dog is on the bed, If a dog's on the bed, most dogs, then they're also going to be walking you, and you're not walking them when you take them out.
Podcast Host 5
I think it's a generalization.
Podcast Host 1
And I. I can't because I walk.
Podcast Host 5
The dog and she doesn't.
Podcast Host 1
You don't get pulled.
Podcast Host 5
No.
Podcast Host 1
Oh, with. Yeah, we'll see. With Maple.
Podcast Host 5
I walk them both. Yeah.
Podcast Host 1
Maple's a puppy, though. Yeah.
Podcast Host 2
She's not. She's not pulling you quite yet.
Podcast Host 5
But why would we just say that she's gonna pull me? Like, when I've had dogs.
Podcast Host 1
But are you. Are you training them how to.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Just because she sleeps in the bed doesn't mean she just shits and pisses. And I also don't. I do everything.
Podcast Host 3
Frankie walked in. Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
Frankie was in the bed. Frankie walked. Frankie crate trained.
Podcast Host 1
And then Frankie got left. Frankie did.
Podcast Host 4
He did everything right. But it just.
Podcast Host 1
I'm not against everyone, but I'm saying a lot that's. I see a lot of people getting walked by their dogs.
Podcast Host 5
Generalization.
Podcast Host 1
It's fair. Generalization.
Podcast Host 5
Your opinion.
Podcast Host 1
You don't go outside.
Podcast Host 3
Sunglasses. Jared is different.
Podcast Host 5
Another generalization.
Thumbtack Representative
We love dogs.
Podcast Host 1
We love dogs.
Thumbtack Representative
We love.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah. Pro dog.
Thumbtack Representative
Pod shop dog.
Podcast Host 1
We should get Bonnie on the podcast as a guest.
Podcast Host 3
Yeah.
Podcast Host 5
I can't.
Thumbtack Representative
I'll bring your dog in the middle. There would be so funny.
Podcast Host 3
She probably wouldn't, but she'd have to set up her dog bed. She'd probably sit down. She'd just be cruising around.
Podcast Host 5
She would take my seat because she doesn't like me.
Podcast Host 3
Also. Also kind of off topic. We. We need to set up a P.O.
Thumbtack Representative
Box.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
So. Because people have been DMing us asking if we can send some stuff in. We need to get one of these interns on figuring out a P.O. box for us.
Thumbtack Representative
P.O. box. I think unboxings would be hilarious on here. We could do a box each episode or two. Whatever it is.
Podcast Host 1
And send whatever. Whenever I hear what no holds bars. PO Box.
Podcast Host 3
When I hear the word PO Box. I don't share the same, like, affinity that I do, but it reminds me of, like, Nickelodeon and Disney commercial where it's like, send it into PO Box all the sweepstakes. Like.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah, it reminds me of like the late night infomercials.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 3
Girls Gone Wild.
Thumbtack Representative
Billy Knifeman's about to send us get that P.O.
Podcast Host 5
Box.
Thumbtack Representative
You say send a palm.
Podcast Host 5
He said you said send anything.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah. We can return to Cinder.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah.
Podcast Host 4
The interns check all the boxes first. Make sure.
Thumbtack Representative
It'S gonna be one of those. You open it and just.
Podcast Host 1
Yeah, it's making pie bomb in Spongebob.
Thumbtack Representative
But yeah, we'll. We'll get on the P.O. box and we'll let you guys know.
Podcast Host 2
Yeah. Hopefully by next episode we'll get Ryan to dial it in.
Thumbtack Representative
Yeah.
Podcast Host 1
Feel good. Feel good.
Podcast Host 2
That's all we got for episode. Is this 10 double digits.
Podcast Host 4
What a milestone.
Podcast Host 5
Yeah, we just addressed an hour in.
Podcast Host 2
Congrats us for making the 10 episodes.
Podcast Host 5
Shout out us.

Host 1: "This past few weeks we've been shining out in the bus and streets and we were outside with it over the weekend at Jerry's."
The brunch was a blend of great food, drinks, and games. The hosts discuss the meticulous planning that went into the event, from sourcing decor at Dollar Tree to procuring beverages from Costco.
Host 5: "We went to Costco for the food was easy. And then we went to Dollar Tree for the decor."
They highlight memorable moments such as Jerry attempting an Eminem-like rap, mishaps with microphones, and the playful atmosphere enhanced by games like Frisbee and Spikeball.
Host 3: "[03:30] 'Shout out Mike Mancini. Big Mike, when he used to come visit us in Tuscaloosa, he would wake us up every Saturday with a breakfast shot and get your day going.'"
The brunch was not just about food and games but also about strengthening bonds among friends and colleagues.
Host 5: "It was like a 10 out of 10. We haven't all hung out outside of work in so long."
Transitioning seamlessly, the hosts shift their focus to the UFC Nashville event, sharing their firsthand experiences and highlights from the fight night.

A standout moment was Derrick Lewis's fight, which left a lasting impression on the hosts.
Host 1: "[32:03] 'One of the last things she says. What was that?'"
The excitement culminated in a memorable interaction where Wonder Boy, a local favorite, winked at Host 1, cementing the night's iconic status.
Host 1: "[36:22] 'We all went, bro.'"
The hosts also touch upon the strategic betting among themselves, adding a layer of friendly competition to their narratives.
Host 5: "[38:14] 'I made, like, 200 bucks. Like 160 or something like that.'"
Shifting gears, the conversation takes a lighthearted yet insightful dive into the world of cryptocurrency.
Host 1: "[23:13] 'I'm junior. But the bonk coin, it's worth, like, I don't even know the exact number. Three of a cent. And I got in. I own 1.5 million of them.'"
The hosts discuss the volatile nature of crypto investments, share personal stakes in coins like bonk coin and XRP, and humorously acknowledge the speculative aspects of their ventures.
Host 1: "[23:57] 'But if we're talking about financials. Getting into the UFC, it was an awesome night of fights.'"
Their camaraderie shines as they jest about the ups and downs of their crypto adventures, making the topic accessible and entertaining for listeners.
