Addie

Jack
Ch.
And he pitches off. And when he pitches off, he flies right into the gun barrel. I said to the cameraman, do you have him?
Mitch
He said, shoot him.
JP
I said, justin, shoot. You can download this episode and others from Lines and tines with Spencer Graves on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Welcome back to another episode of Inside the Bus. We took last week off. We are mourning the loss of Matt Malone's very last Blackout Wednesday. Moment of silence for that, and thank you. This is episode 28. We like to go and name athletes, and these guys can go in, but the only athlete that matters me that war number 28 is the CJ2K, Chris Johnson. It's very good to be back, though, fellas.
Addie
How was like a 6, 7 celebration.
JP
That he used to do the Choppa City juke? Very legendary. Very legendary. Especially when Derrick Henry did it.
Jack
I mean, you got to hit it with him.
JP
I did. That was awesome. Whenever I look back on that video, I'm reminded of how wide I am. But.
So like, that kind of like kind of a tough watch. But then I'm like, dude, that's a must. If I. If I had, if I knew that was gonna happen when I was like, 11 years old.
It would have been game over. But, yeah, shout out CJ2K in the 28 episode. Next week 29 episode, because we're getting awfully close to 30 in JP's birthday. But we'll wait. We'll wait on that. We'll wait on that. But, yeah. Welcome back, guys. Any notable things that happened on Thanksgiving?
Jack
I was at Taylor's.
JP
Yeah.
Addie
Was that three years? Four years.
Jack
Been here for three years. So three years.
Addie
Three years in a row.
Jack
Got to actually meet Mr. The. The Malone family.
Addie
Let's go.
Jack
And they're.
Mitch
They're the best dad live up to the hype that we've seen on. He would, like, go follow him.
Jack
He can just. He can just hold a room. Like, he'll just be like, hey, Taylor, do you know so and so. Yeah, so I actually, like, worked with him before and then just was, like, talking to him.
Addie
Don't fall from the.
Jack
Actually a good guy, but, like, the Mr. And Mrs. Malone are the best. They're. They kind of dig on mad just as much as we do. So it's kind of like. And that's like, dude, don't. Don't make fun of me. Like, anything they say, don't listen to it. But it's like, Matt, they do the same thing we do. Like, it's all love.
Brooks
I love.
JP
Have you gone through Matt's dad's Instagram? No, I.
Jack
But Matt. I kind of went through it with Matt the one time, and he said it's like.
Brooks
It is.
JP
Would your dad be upset if on our, like, inside the bus socials, we reposted some of his stuff?
Brooks
I don't think so.
JP
Maybe you can clear that, because there's a couple that I have in mind that I would love to repost, like, with your dad's header attached to it. Yeah, he. He.
Brooks
His social media is crazy. He got kicked off Twitter because the bishop of Nashville ban church league basketball. And this is, like, three years ago. And my dad. It wasn't. Yeah, I was the bishop. My dad was like, hate tweeting him. Like, you lose. Yeah. He was like, they'll let the kids play. And then one time.
Mitch
Shut up and pray.
Garrett
This is.
Brooks
This was what my. I kicked my dad off for. There was a Logan's ad.
JP
Oh, well, like you, it was collective. I was gonna say, man, if you aren't on Twitter, they post full pussy on Twitter.
Jack
Hanging brain.
JP
Yeah. Like, so I'm like, did he threaten someone's life?
Jack
No, Twitter didn't kick him off. The Malone's kicked him off.
Brooks
Yeah, the Malones kicked.
JP
That almost seems more serious, though.
Brooks
Yeah, there was a what? I was like, dad, you got to stop. There was a Logan's ad, and it was just like, half price wings. And he just, like, quote, like, tweets back at that moon was like, hey, spiraling down chain. Like, get your shit together. Was there last week. This place sucks. And I was like. I was like, dad, it's an ad. You know, they're not seeing it.
Mitch
Dude, this makes more sense why he's afraid to tweet.
JP
Yeah, he did.
Mitch
It's a childhood trauma.
JP
He doesn't want to become his father's son. Which you already are.
Brooks
I'm already am, for sure.
JP
But think about your dad. You think he even considered sending that tweet? No. He just did it, right? Yeah. It was secondhand nature.
Jack
He didn't care who was seeing it. I'm. I have no room to speak because I don't tweet.
Addie
So I tweeted at an ad.
Brooks
He tweeted an ad. And then he.
Mitch
He was.
Brooks
There was like a Philip Rivers hall of Fame thing or whatever. He was like, you're no Drew Brees or something. Like, he was. He was just. Hate tweeting forever.
JP
I mean, that's just. He's just tweeting.
Addie
That's just. Yeah. Twitter.
Brooks
He lets it fly more than me.
Mitch
You don't let it fly at all.
Brooks
That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying.
JP
I think we should give you X amount of tweets that you need to hit by Christmas. And if you don't, you have to tell your dad to get back on Twitter.
Brooks
All right, I'll do your dad.
Addie
Your dad gets to run your Twitter.
JP
I don't know.
Brooks
Plate in the. God, now.
JP
I mean, how many days we have till Christmas? 22. 22 days till Christmas. I mean, I'm saying something like 50 tweets at least. That's like averaging two and a half tweets.
Mitch
Two and a half a day.
Garrett
Nothing.
JP
That's nothing. You can hit that before breakfast.
Brooks
Okay.
Mitch
You could literally do 50 tweets in two days and it wouldn't be too much.
Brooks
Damn.
Addie
Huh?
Garrett
Survive.
Mitch
Thinking about how great you could be.
Garrett
Man.
Don'T give away my water. It's like the last drop left, but.
Brooks
Yeah, Taylor's was lit. Got to hang out with Mitch and everybody. I'll just add on to that. Super fun.
Jack
Yeah. Met Ryan's mom and sister. Yeah, they're super sweet Jersey people. So northeast after my own heart. Dave and foul were just hanging out.
Mitch
Big Dave.
Jack
Big Dave. Big. Big Dave and foul were just. We played werewolf, and them two were just sitting over there on the side, and foul kept saying, like, hey, this tryptophan from this. This turkey's kicking in right now. Dave's like, I know, like falling asleep. But Dave was just talking, like about getting high.
Addie
Who's Dave?
Jack
Big Dave.
Addie
Who's Big Dave?
Jack
Luan.
Addie
Oh, okay.
Jack
Yeah.
Addie
I didn't know we called him Big Dave.
Jack
Remember on the stream one time I.
Addie
Was like, big Dave. Oh, right, right. Yeah, yeah. You lost me.
Jack
Yeah. I mean, it was fun.
Mitch
I mean, how's that dessert spread this year?
Jack
Unreal.
Mitch
You went in?
Jack
Oh, yeah. I took a. I wanted to. So I found. I do this every year. We don't get anything until we're on our way to Taylor, so we always stop at the same Kroger. And what did you bring? We got a pie or two pies and I got two things of cookies. Cookies were gone.
Mitch
They were hit Nice.
Jack
Which made me feel good.
Mitch
Great underrated feeling too, by the way. You bring something that just gets demolished asap.
Jack
Then the pie. Cuz I think Jason or Taylon made a. Like a homemade pumpkin pie and I just bought one. The store. The. The homemade one, as it should been, was ran through. Mine just had like a piece a slice cut out of it. Like, do I just take the whole thing home? I kind of wanted to, but I'm like, I don't. Like, there's still some people here. I might just leave it because the other pumpkin pie is running low. I'm just going to leave it. So I. But it's nice to get like a leftover take home plate. Had that for dinner the next day. Like it was. The food is just unreal.
Mitch
They got ham?
Jack
Oh, yeah, they had the. But it's not. I wouldn't say it's like normal ham. It was like. It was like kind of like that. Like. And it's like flat right here, if that makes sense.
Brooks
I feel like it was thick. What you mean some thick ham?
Jack
It was thicker, but it was like. I don't know how to describe it.
Mitch
It was like a half circle. Half.
Jack
Yeah, like a little bit of an oval. And it was like flat on the bottom. But they were thicker.
Mitch
Yeah, yeah, I know what you're talking about.
Addie
That's like the cartoon. I think I had like three different eggs and ham.
Jack
Three different types of stuffing. I think my something that is really starting to go up on my list of Thanksgiving foods is sweet potato casserole.
JP
Just.
Jack
It was unreal. Shout out, Jason. Shout out, Taylon. The cinnamon rolls that she made were banging.
Mitch
I mean, did y' all weigh in or. No?
Jack
No, it's because Taylor couldn't compete because of his gout. He's like, nobody's doing it.
Addie
What did he.
Brooks
He was eating like eggs.
Jack
He had like a, like a special plate made for him. But then I think he did go in for like a plate of real food.
But he definitely didn't go in as, like, as much as she normally does. But overall, great time. It was fun seeing the Chandlers. Matt almost didn't stand up when Michael walked in the room to shake his hand.
Brooks
Bull.
Addie
He.
Jack
He eventually did.
He started shaking his hand and then.
Brooks
No, I was just mid.
Addie
He keeps just mid sentence there.
Brooks
I. I went to stand up and.
Jack
Shake his hand, but you, like, you guys were touching hands before you stood up.
Brooks
I got long ass arms. I knew what I was doing.
JP
Were you wearing a hat, mister?
Jack
He wasn't, no. It was Thanksgiving, bro. He was vineyard.
Brooks
I was dripped. I had a vest on.
Jack
He was the most Chad I've ever seen anybody.
Addie
We didn't get a photo.
Brooks
I don't think we. We were just stuffing our faces.
I had a crazy fit on. Crazy.
Addie
What'd you have on?
Brooks
Just like something.
Jack
Something that I Never minds. Vest. The vv A plaid, like, button down shirt. And I literally saw him walking in from Taylor's man cave with the windows. I'm like, holy frat boy.
Brooks
That was.
Jack
But you owned it. You were. You weren't like, bro.
Yeah, I don't worn this since 18.
Brooks
Yeah. I was like, hey, this is Thanksgiving. I can't. I can't wear the pashmina, so let's put on a vest.
Mitch
It was good.
Addie
Next best thing.
Jack
Anyways. How was all your guys's Thanksgiving?
Addie
Mine was pretty low key. It was just me, my two of my younger siblings, and then my dad and stepmom down at the lake. It was freezing, so we couldn't really do anything on the water, but did some fires, did a little bonfire action and then just hung out. Watch football. Truly just watched football.
Jack
Your Black Friday video of knock your socks off was so funny.
Addie
Yeah. Coleman and Maddie really bought in. Coleman was truly frustrated that we could not get it to work because in our brains, you know, you're like thinking that it's just gonna like ruin rocket launch off. Just like, boom, like take off. And the first time we did it and nothing happened, we fell in the floor laughing so hard. We did it enough times that Jeff was like trying to like, we were outside doing chores per usual. And at one point Jeff's like, so are you guys done? Like, are you gonna like, can we just finish this job and, like, go back inside?
Jack
He's gonna keep working.
Addie
Yeah. So it was a good time. Good time. A lot of food. Slept eight. Coleman brought the. The game down. Got a couple runs in.
Jack
Hell yeah.
Addie
Can't complain. Started training things.
Garrett
I need to start that.
Addie
Yeah.
JP
You've never seen it all. Just the new season.
Garrett
The new. The new season.
Addie
Yeah, brother.
Garrett
Yeah. I'm caught up.
Addie
I need. I need to finish.
Garrett
Are you not caught? Yeah.
Addie
I need to watch 3 and 4.
Jack
Okay.
Garrett
I think Simmon was good. Mean Addie went to Texas to spend with my family, so.
Mitch
Whoa.
Jack
Yeah.
Garrett
Second time in Texas Friday. So this they little familiarity, but holiday. Holiday. Yeah. First holiday.
Jack
Where's she from?
Garrett
She's from Florida.
Jack
Okay.
Garrett
So I stole her away. But we're. I'm gonna go to Florida for Christmas, so nice go. Nice trade off. But we went. We got to do a little bit of Keller, and then we went to the lake. Out to the lake. Thanksgiving evening, like, right after the Cowboys game. But it was nice. Got to see some friends. It was funny. The Wednesday, like, the day before Thanksgiving, my brother's wife stole her away to do, like, a girls day in Dallas. So mean camp. Just hung out and I got to go to lunch with, like, a couple friends in camp. So that was really fun.
Mitch
And then did she enjoy the girls day?
Garrett
Yeah, I mean, they just went and did girly stuff. So good.
Mitch
She's meshing well.
Addie
Yeah. So.
Garrett
So honestly, I just chilled with camp all day. It was kind of a vibe shout out to camp. And then Thanksgiving morning, we did our boys thing, which is just golf. We did this, like, this golf Thanksgiving tournament. And they like, when they. When they met G, they told him to, like, get me golfing more. It hasn't happened, but that was my first time golfing and maybe. Maybe since last Thanksgiving. And I probably. I play pretty well. Like, I can hit the ball not consistently, but when I hit it.
Addie
Did you say the other day you were like, coop's telling this story to us. And Coop's like, yeah, I just really wouldn't hit my irons.
Garrett
And I'm never consistently. Consistently.
Addie
He was like, you play one time a year. Talk about being consistent.
Garrett
I will say, out of all the people in the world that play golf one time a year, I might be in that top percentile.
Addie
Let's go. Think about if you play twice.
Mitch
We need a house. Double it.
Jack
Would you shoot?
JP
I would win.
Garrett
We did a tournament. It was me.
JP
I would win that tournament. Unfortunately. Coop.
Addie
Yeah.
Jack
Jack's Pretty.
JP
Pretty good for one time a year kind of guy.
Garrett
That's fine. I'm in the top percent.
JP
That wasn't meant coming.
Jack
Yeah.
Garrett
Yeah.
JP
But obviously we would play together.
Addie
Over.
Garrett
That's what we did on things. And then.
Addie
So it's a great Thanksgiving tradition.
Jack
That's bro. I wish, like, obviously, y'. All. None of us live here except y' all too. But you guys go somewhere else. Like, Jack went to Atlanta and you go into the lake. I wish we had enough people to stay here to do a Turkey bowl. I feel like that would be so much fun. I don't know how. Like, because we did one back home. I don't know if you guys, like, just not enough people are around for, like, your friends in Nashville. But, like, that would be so much fun, in my opinion.
Mitch
It's cool because CAA and wme, two big agencies in Nashville and across the country, they do a turkey bowl. CAA versus wme.
Jack
Oh, that's sick.
Mitch
Which is awesome.
Jack
You can play in it.
Addie
You bet on that?
Mitch
Not this year, but I'm pretty sure CAA won. And I think they've won the past couple years. Maybe could be spreading propaganda because I'm team caa.
Addie
But that's who you're signed to.
Mitch
I was. My contract just ran out. They said I might be getting a little bit too old upon my next birthday, so I might be looking somewhere else.
JP
They also do a co ed flag football tournament with all the agencies in Nashville.
Brooks
Yeah.
JP
I went to a last year because my friend Sydney works for CA also. Team CAA for sure. But it's all. It's pretty electric. Like, they. They really get after it out there. And I think CA won that as well.
Garrett
Yeah.
Jack
Yeah. I just feel like I've. Because I. I would go to my.
Mitch
You're suspended from your next game.
Addie
Are you did that. Is that what happened?
Jack
Yeah, I got him suspended for Friday.
Garrett
But still in the league.
Jack
Yeah, still in the league. They responded was like, we would give.
Addie
Some context because we didn't talk.
Jack
Oh, yeah. So if y' all check out my Twitter at Mitch Carley. I. I tackled a kid in flag.
But, like, it was warranted foul. Started talking and then, like, it escalated from there. And I did call him. I'm like, hey, you can talk. But, like, it needs to be to a point where it's like, just around. Not like we're starting fights, because that's what he likes to escalate it to. There was this little scrawny ginger kid.
Addie
Okay.
Jack
And suspended for two games and he, like, he fou. Talking to him and, like, he intercepted the ball and, like, chucked the ball at foul. I'm like, all right, if we're going to play that way, like, we can. And he gets, like, a little, like, hitch route, like, spins between two people. They miss their flag. And I'm just sitting there like a middle linebacker kind of ready. Not, like, trying to, like, break down and tackle him, but, like, all right, which way is he going to go? Because obviously you're not tackling in flag. He legitimately. And, like, if you go on my Twitter, you can see the video. He bolt. Like, he puts his shoulder down and, like, just runs into me. And it looks like I tried to tackle him, like, outside.
Addie
You picked him up.
Jack
But then. Then I realized he did that. I'm like, yeah, you're not about to do that. And I just.
JP
From the video, look, I think to an extent, the tackle is justified, but.
You didn't have to do them like that.
Jack
Yeah, but he's also, like, he wasn't.
JP
Like, lowering his shoulder. He was. He was running straight. He does not have lateral speed. And so that's all he had was just. I just had to move straight.
Jack
But. Okay, but if you saw. You see, you can see him brief.
JP
We're gonna put this video in there. We need you guys to drop in the comments. Is the suspension justified?
Brooks
He.
Jack
He did, like, go like that a little bit. And, like, I was not expecting him to, like, come right at me. So, like, he just hit my shoulder. Then I realized, like, a split second that's what he did. So then I tried to dump him, but I couldn't get his other leg. So then I just kind of, like, pushed him to.
JP
You put him in the dirt for sure.
Jack
Yeah. And then he got up, he said.
Garrett
What the fuck was that?
Jack
I'm like, bro, you're not a try to about to try and run over me.
Mitch
You gave that?
Jack
Yeah. And then I. I was like, back up. And then he comes back and, like, just walks away. And I'm like, no. Like, I wasn't overly mad. Like, I was mad, but I wasn't like, holy shit. But then they called the game after it, and then I got an email from the league saying, who was the player that was responsible for tackling this person? Like, due to the league policy, like, we need to know. Give a first, first name, last name. I responded, it was me. They said. They said, who was the player that picked up and slammed the opposing player? And I respond. I was like, I think picked up and Slammed is an exaggeration. He put his shoulder down into me.
JP
But it was foul.
Jack
I did tackle him. Like, I'm not saying I'm in the wrong, or I'm not saying I'm in the right, but I'm also not saying, like, I think both sides are at fault. Then they respond to. We're like, because the game got called because of you doing that, you're suspended for.
Addie
Weren't you guys killing them anyways?
Jack
Yeah, we were up, like, 30, so.
Addie
So does that count as a loss for you?
Jack
No, no, the game. No, we won. The game was like. They just called it because there was only, like, four or five minutes left. Well, like, they called it, like, we won.
Addie
Do you think a ref is the one that submitted?
Jack
No, the one ref was super chill. Like, he. Like, he's on one of the other.
Addie
Teams that seems fishing.
Garrett
Yeah.
Addie
Wait.
JP
Well, I feel like refs maybe is a protocol for them to reach out to, like, their league, rep this guy and then be like, hey, we didn't. The game because of.
Jack
This guy was yelling at the other ref because the other ref was up, and the other ref was, like, this new kid that, like, it was his first time reffing at Boost, so there's no way either of them did it. So it's definitely the other team that, like, snitched. Yeah. So I'm suspended for Friday. It's against one of the best teams.
Addie
Do you get to dress on the.
Jack
No, I'm not even allowed in the facility.
Addie
No way.
JP
Y' all play one of them?
Jack
Yeah.
Brooks
Oh, I can fix that for you. I worked at Boost. We can.
Jack
At this point, I'm like, I already have, like, something that came up for Friday.
Brooks
Like, I.
I know I can pull some strings. I'm serious.
Addie
Mean, what, he can walk in the building?
Jack
Yeah, yeah.
Addie
By himself?
Jack
Those refs aren't gonna care.
Brooks
I could get you in that game.
Jack
I mean, it's. I already have, like.
Brooks
Like, a. I've been suspended from a game before. I get that.
Jack
I have, like, plans that came up that I forgot about.
Brooks
You got a resi.
Jack
No, not a. Well, kind of, but it's not for me or Brooke. It's a bird. Like a surprise birthday thing.
JP
Hopefully they're not watching.
Jack
I know. I don't think. I don't think they are.
But, yeah. So it's like. It's like, it ends up working out, and then next week, we have a double header. My parents are coming in town for the game for Brooks graduation.
Addie
Oh, finally.
Mitch
This will be the first time Yalls parents are meeting.
Jack
First time parents are meeting. But obviously Brooks met mine. And I heard. But first time parent meeting Dan about to put on. I know like, Dan doesn't really. He gets out of like, I don't think it's his comfort zone to talk to new people. Kind of like how I am. But, like, my mom can talk to anybody. So, like, he'll crush it. And like Brooks dad Tim, he's the man. He's kind of the same way. Like, he's not gonna go out of.
Addie
The way and like, talk to be the funniest standoff.
Jack
But. But Marilyn Brooks mom, like, same way. Can talk to anybody. So, like, it'll be fine. I'm just be like, hey, dad, Tim grew up riding dirt bikes. You did that. Have fun.
Mitch
Have you seen the movie with Rachel McAdams and John Krasinski and Bradley Cooper? Aloha. I think it's basically.
Jack
I think.
Mitch
I think I have John Krasinski, like, doesn't say a word. He's a Navy, like, fighter. Or he's like, I think maybe he's a fighter pilot of some sort.

I just want to remind everyone how good Rasheed Rice was last season and these three healthy games. He was the wide receiver. Two in fantasy. I think Rasheed Rice just goes off this week.
Addie
The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice near side Touchdown.
JP
Ramandre Stevens is my sleeper this week. This is a matchup where I think I can slide in Stevenson in my flex position and he could deliver double digit points this week.
Brooks
Drake takes the snap, hands it off for Madre.
JP
Running it right and running into the end zone.
Jack
Touchdown.

I was complaining about how he never says his emotions, whatever or speaks in general and it there's a scene where he has a full on conversation with whoever the other guy just said was Brad. Yeah, Bradley. I think it's Bradley Cooper. I think it is Brad.
JP
Brad.
Mitch
And they just are like in the living room like.
And then they leave. But that reminds me of.
Jack
Yeah, I think it'll be fine. But like to me, great. Yeah. What do you mean? My parents are coming in. My mom's like I will do anything to watch you play football again. So my dad's fight doesn't get until late. I'm gonna see if he can bump it up. Need pops to be there.
Addie
Mitch about to go crazy after a suspension.
Jack
Especially out on a double header too.
Addie
That's crazy. I didn't suspend you just for like the first half.
Jack
What do you want me to. This league's bitch made.
Addie
That's going to help your case. They can get you in.
Jack
Yeah.
Mitch
Another video review that can get you in.
Brooks
I'm gonna get you into the video.
Mitch
Jack on the swing set.
Jack
Oh, yeah.
Addie
Oh, yeah.
Mitch
Y' all hit the playground. I'm assuming your nieces were there. Yeah, I only have one. Well, two questions. One, well, can I see the video ever? And two, depending on how old your niece is, were you like, was part of you embarrassed when you were on the ground if she saw you? Because in my head I'm thinking like, man, Uncle Jack just let them down with this one.
JP
Yeah. So that's what I was doing for Thanksgiving. Went down to Atlanta. They have an elite playground. And that wasn't elite.
Mitch
The zip line.
JP
The zip line's crazy. And it's like you can be a full grown adult and fly on that thing. It's fun, man. It's huge, spacious. It's got everything you want out of a playground at a park. But yeah, I'll show. We can put the video on here. The full thing. I really just cut it from there just so that people are asking these questions. So they're gonna hopefully watch to the end of the video. And at one point in one of my premature edits, I had the ending in there at the very last clip and it just didn't feel right. So. But no, I honestly didn't feel even one, like, bit of embarrassment because I was trying to crash on every single object. I was more embarrassed that on the zip line I was trying to go and fly off of it and have a very dramatic crash. But I couldn't commit to it because there's this big steel bar. They kind of reinforce it. And I was like, if I end up getting hurt on this, like, that would be just an all time low. And then the whole flip on the swing set just kind of happened out of nowhere. It wasn't planned. I was just trying to swing do everything on the playground to kind of get some B roll. And then I think my sister was like, do a backflip like you used to. And then I was, I like went back, she's like, no, no, don't actually do it. And then my brother in law, like, I can hear him, he's like, wait, could you actually do it? And I was like, let's see, see? And then I went and just from the angle of that video, looks like that chain's about to snatch around my whole ankle and just hang me upside down. Luckily I got my ankle out and just landed like on all fours almost. But we'll plug the, the full RAW video in for everybody.
Addie
I thought that thing was about to swing you back just by your foot.
JP
Oh, dude. Well, just relooking at it, I was like, oh, this, this could have been way worse than anticipated. But it just reminded me of one thing, is that like playgrounds, I. It's nice to know that there's like good playgrounds out there. Like if I can have fun on that at the age of 31, like it. I know there's kids out there every day. My nieces, they love it. It's like a less than five minute drive from their house. So it's just, it's a good feeling to know that there's still well structured playgrounds out there.
Jack
Getting used feeling, that's like an underrated thing. As a child who's a good, good.
JP
Playground, especially one that's in close proximity to your house where like, if it's safe enough, like back in the day where your parents like, yeah, like you can just go. You don't have like, you don't need your. At a certain age. So that, that feels good. My nieces are not there, not even close. They're three and one. But hopefully once they get to the age where they can kind of just run down there, feel that kind of first moment of freedom, that independence. That's a good feeling.
iHeart Podcast Announcer
Yeah.
Jack
Have any of all y' all ever hurt yourself on a playground?
JP
Plenty.
Jack
Like legit.
Mitch
I never broke anything.
JP
I broke my arm on a playground twice.
Jack
Foul. Broke his femur.
JP
That's crazy.
Mitch
How old was he?
Jack
Like 7 or 8. Like he was pretty young or maybe even closer to 10. He like jumped off, oh, the swings and like just land and just broke his femur. Which like, at that young is like one, like damn near possible. And two, it could be deadly because of like, of how impossible your femur is to break. Like it could get infected. But like, he beat the odds.
Addie
Yeah, he was, he was like Coop, just starting fights.
Jack
Just like literally like a half body cast down all the way.
Brooks
Damn.
Garrett
Shit sucks.
Addie
How was Thanksgiving?
Mitch
Hove Thanksgiving was good. My middle brother, Sam, he was home. Oldest brother was not there, but sitting. She was working. And my and Sam's fiance, she was in Chicago. So it was really just me, Sam, my mom and dad. And then we have two of my family friends, they come over all every single Thanksgiving. And then this one other guy, Richard who my mom is friends with from Pickleball and has now become my dad's crypto guru. And so we got to hear some of the crypto breakdowns, started to see where some of the things are going wrong, but it was good. Also, I went over to Sitton's house, even though she wasn't there, and I had lunch with her family because all the nieces and nephews were there, and her grandma was celebrating her 90th or. Yeah. 98th birthday. And she's sharp as could be. And she is. She's awesome. So it was a good time. And then we went to the Carolina Clemson game. Sitting Clemson grad, she now leads the series 3 to 2. Every single the home team in the South Carolina Clemson rivalry hasn't won since 2019 or 18.
Addie
Oh, wow. That's crazy.
Mitch
Yeah. So anytime we're in Clemson, we beat them. Anytime we're in Columbia, they beat us. Except for next year, but, yeah, it was good. Overall, solid time.
Addie
Hell, yeah.
Jack
Sweet.
Mitch
Spotify wrapped.
Jack
Yeah. So I don't know. I'm. As if y' all are Spotify people. The Spotify wraps has come out. We all went through ours this morning.
The biggest takeaway from me for my specific Spotify Wrapped. Well, two things. One, my listening age is 24, which I'm not the happiest about, but I. Number two, which I am still happy about. I'm still in 0.2. Listeners of Mike.
Mitch
Boom.
Jack
0.2%.
Mitch
But 24. You're 27, right?
Jack
Yeah. So, I mean, it's not, like, far off, but it's also like, mine's.
Mitch
I'm 20. Listening age. Yeah. It's just crazy.
Garrett
You got 20. 20, bro, that might be the lowest one I've seen.
Jack
Yeah, Go ahead and say what Addie got.
Garrett
Addie got 82.
Mitch
Yeah.
Addie
She's a Deadhead.
Jack
Is she?
Garrett
Oh, yeah, she is.
Jack
Okay.
Garrett
That does play factor, I guess. I got. I got 34. I feel like 34 is a good one.
Jack
Have they been around 34?
JP
Solid?
Addie
34 is a good 80s.
Mitch
Should we just read our top artists and then top songs?
Jack
Yeah, let's do it. Do you got it, G.P.
Mitch
Sure. Top artists. Number one goes to Garrett's golf pro growing up, Kip Moore.
Addie
It's like, where is this going?
Mitch
He had a new album come out this year or maybe in the summer that I loved, especially this song called Pretty Horses. That was a banger. Love, Kip Moore. I've been a Kid Moore fan for a very long time. He was my number one number Two, Zach Brian. Kind of shocking because I don't really remember listening to him that much this year. Number three, Morgan Wallen. Probably when his album dropped. Two, four, Zach Williams. Five, Jordan Davis. Top songs, number one, give it all by Satellite Station, Small band sl. I think it might even just be one guy. Number two, the Unknown, which is by Northwestern Stories. Love that song. Three still by Zach Williams. Four, Pretty Horses by Kit Moore. And five, let It Be a hallelujah by Lauren Daigle. Lauren Daigle's been.
Addie
You've been on her.
Mitch
I was kind of surprised she wasn't in my top five this year. But overall, please. With. Pleased with my songs. Not as pleased with my artist, clearly, because my songs had a lot different artists than my.
Jack
Yeah.
Mitch
Top five.
Jack
My top artist, Mike. Number two, Quinn92. Number three, Morgan Wallen. Number four, which I'm kind of happy about. Linkin Park. Go on a big Linkin park year. And then number five, it's gotta be.
Addie
From everyday recording or no.
Jack
I like in the, like, January, February of last year, for whatever reason, me and my buddy Ryan were like, on the biggest Linkin park kick. Number five, NBA Youngboy. Okay.
My top five songs.
Number one, just in case by Morgan Wallen.
Number two, someone make it stop by Mike Banger. Number three, bleed it Out, Linkin Park. That's because of that. Number four, breaking the Habit by Lincoln. Linkin Park. And then number five, Holiday by Green Day.
There was like a. Like a month period I would put that song on every time I'm driving home. Especially I'm like, Thursdays or Fridays and be like.
It was fire.
Addie
So what do we start with? Top artist or songs matter Also, you.
Garrett
Should start from five and go up.
Addie
Okay, cool. All right, so my top artist, number five, is going to. This one's weird to me. I know I like, like a handful of his songs, but Morgan Wallen, number four, Palace. If you haven't listened to palace, go listen to Palace. Number three, Drizzy Drake. Number two, Billy Strings. And number one, Future Hendrix.
JP
I saw it in your store. I was like, damn, he really out there.
Garrett
Future at one.
Addie
I. Yeah, I love some futures.
Yeah. I'm in the top 2% of the future listeners.
JP
That's a lot of listeners.
Brooks
That's toxic.
Mitch
That's toxic.
Addie
Yeah.
Garrett
All right.
Addie
And then my top songs. This is where it's weird, because if Future is my number one artist, why wouldn't he be my number one? So Song. But my number one song is I got Better. Morgan Wallen. Number two is Peret and Strippers. My future. Number three is Ready by Lil Baby and Gunna. Number four, Stupid Questions by Ban Camino. Shout out Ban Camino. And number five is l Live Out My Closet by Lil Baby in Future Hood.
Jack
Right, G?
Addie
For sure.
Jack
What was your listening age?
Addie
72.
Jack
That's crazy.
Mitch
That's crazy.
Addie
72 was my listening age. Yeah, that one feels about right.
I will say like a little throw in thing here. You know when you get like the personalized message from either like your top artist or podcast. My top podcast listen is Bad Friends. And when I'm scrolling through it, watching it, and Bobby Lee pops up on your phone, it's like, hold on, we have FaceTiming right now. So shout out Bad Friends as well.
Brooks
Gee. You get an artist message you or something?
Mitch
Yeah, yeah.
Brooks
Sometimes like the future say something to you?
Addie
Nah, it was Palace. Palace was the artist that sent. I don't, I don't think all, I.
Jack
Don'T think all artists do it because the only one I got was. Was from Quinn.
Addie
Nice.
Mitch
What was your top podcast, Mitch?
Jack
I don't probably crime junkie. I don't really listen to pods.
Mitch
Yeah, yeah. Coop Nasty.
Garrett
We starting with artists.
Addie
Yeah.
Garrett
Start wherever you want, man.
Addie
Start at five.
Garrett
I'm starting at five. My five is funny because what's crazy.
Addie
Is I went from five to one and one to five, so do whatever you want, man.
Garrett
My number five artist, which I'm, I'm with J.P. you were saying earlier, like this might. It's kind of BS because I don't believe this, but I did listen to this person. One album of his a lot. I couldn't name another Tory Lane song. That's if I never found a loaded problem.
Brooks
He's in jail.
Jack
Yeah. Lydia again. Yeah, that's him. And Meek Mill.
Addie
Oh, really?
Garrett
Okay, then I know that one.
Brooks
He's in jail.
Garrett
He's still in jail.
Brooks
When he didn't shoot someone shot Megan in the foot.
Mitch
Coop about to get him out.
Addie
Free lanes.
Jack
What's that?
Addie
What'd she do?
Jack
Purple.
Brooks
I think he just shot her.
Addie
Purple.
Jack
Violet for fun.
JP
Yeah.
Garrett
Oh, the color.
Jack
Violet color.
Garrett
Yeah. That's on the album that I just was replaying.
JP
That album is.
Garrett
Yeah.
Jack
Slaps.
Garrett
So he's my five. My number four. I wish Jared was up here for this one. Is Eminem. I, I, I'm a big Eminem fan. Jared hates him. 3. Kanye West. We're not giving up on Kanye west yet.
Brooks
Never.
Mitch
There's your quote graphic for that.
Garrett
Number two is the Weeknd. Always been a week of fan and Number one is Drake. He's like, number one every year. It must be because he's, like, featured on so many songs.
Mitch
Does it count that I don't think it goes? I don't know.
Garrett
It's weird because either way, I'm listening to a lot of Drake.
Addie
I'm only listening to him, like, if I'm working out, because, like, in the car, I'm not, like, putting Drake on. I'm putting future on in the car.
Garrett
See, that might be my thing, is.
Brooks
Drake is, like, the car rapper. I feel like.
Jack
You ever listen to Mike?
Garrett
Most of my music listening gets done in the gym, so that probably explains my list. And then my top songs.
Addie
The old lady was mad at you.
Garrett
Top song, top songs. Number five, Poison Ivy. That is Tory Lanez. That's on that album. And that's the only Tory Lanez song on here. And then wake me up by the weekend. I got at three, put on oh.
JP
Song just Young Jeezy. Not the Kanye remix?
Garrett
No, the Kanye. Okay. I mean, play the hits. I mean, I was playing that all year. I still been playing that. Yeah, bro, pour me a drink. Which is.
Addie
Was that post?
Garrett
Yeah, it's post. Post Malone. And then Worst behavior by Drake at number one.
Mitch
Worse.
Jack
Are you a guy that, like, jams out in the car, like, singing and stuff in the car?
Garrett
No, I. I'll jam out, but I don't like singing. I'll just play my music. I'm not like.
Jack
You're just, like, mean mugging, like, Bob in your head type.
Garrett
Yeah, I won't, like, go all out.
Jack
Oh, I'm fucking singing in that bitch.
JP
Yeah, you can sing?
Addie
Yeah. What?
Jack
Yeah, I like, I've heard you sing to him.
Addie
Like, I'll sing wherever.
Garrett
Wait, how many. How many minutes did y'.
Brooks
All.
Garrett
Did y' all say your minutes?
Addie
Listen.
Jack
Love singing.
JP
Yeah. What was yalls minutes? Listen.
Jack
36,000.
Addie
See, mine's 61,000.
Garrett
That's a ton. Mine's 36. Basically 37K.
Mitch
21,000 for me.
Addie
Dang, bro.
Jack
My.
Addie
I got a lot of numbers.
Jack
It's 61, you guys know, probably is in, like, the 80s.
Brooks
Dang.
Jack
But like I said, why we were saying earlier, because he. He drives. Oh, he's driving all the time. So he's just listening.
Addie
Why would we know that?
All right, what do you got?
Brooks
Hold on.
JP
I want to see how many minutes I did. I think it's at 19,000.
Jack
But that's crazy if you listen to nugs that much, too.
JP
Yeah, I. If you don't know what Nugs is. It's just like live music. It's like a streaming platform similar to Spotify, but all live music. And I'd say I listen majority of my music there, But I think it's 19, 000.
Addie
Here it is.
JP
We. You listen. We counted 19, 619.
Garrett
Okay.
Mitch
Four songs.
JP
My top artist at number five was Pink Floyd. Number four is Zed's Dead. Number three was the Grateful Dead. Number two was Disco Lines, and number one was Dead and Company. So pretty much just jamming and jamming, but electronic music mixed in with rock and roll. My top songs. Number five was Babe, I'm gonna leave you by led Zeppelin. Number four, dear Mr. Fantasy Dead. And CO3 was Angry Eyes, which is Loggins and Messina, which is Kenny Loggins, and I think it's John Messina.
Number two, Blue notes. Shout out. G. He put me on this song. Blue Notes by Meek Mill. And then the number one song was down to the Waterline by Dire Straits.
Jack
Is Blue Notes a new. Like, you just got introduced to it recently?
JP
I never heard that song. And G showed it to me, like, maybe in, like, March or February. And I listen to that song, probably. I'm shocked. It wasn't. Well, I guess it was number one, number two on it, but I remember listening to that song over and over until I just was sick of it.
Mitch
It's featured on it with him.
JP
I don't think anyone is.
Addie
This is my blues.
Mitch
Yeah. Cause I'm back down. Like, who is that?
Addie
I don't know.
Mitch
Just.
Brooks
He probably.
JP
Yeah. Feature on the song itself, but it's Young Meek Mill.
Mitch
I've always wondered who that is.
Addie
The song bangs, bro.
JP
All right, question.
Addie
Oh, what was Matt.
JP
Oh, right, right, right, right.
Addie
We got our apple boy.
Jack
John Rabbit Bundrick is the. That's not. It doesn't matter.
Addie
All right, we'll cut that.
Jack
Sorry about that.
Brooks
Top five artists. Here we go. Future Gunna. Morgan Wallen, Drake. Pretty generic. Damn.
Jack
Well, it's funny on Spotify, too, which is crazy.
Garrett
Yeah, you just said.
Jack
We're all Spotify people.
JP
Oh.
Brooks
Number movie. Number five song. Tuscan Leather by Drake.
Garrett
Great song.
Brooks
Yeah. Dumb, Dumb and Dumber. Little baby, Young Thug. Future. If y' all know that one, that one bangs out. Put that in the gym. Miami. Morgan Wallen at 3. I don't know why that one bangs. I know people hate that song. I love that.
Mitch
That's perfect.
Brooks
Genesis at two for Morgan Wallen. And I'm the problem. Number one.
Garrett
That's fitting.
Brooks
Yeah, that. That totally fits.
JP
So.
Brooks
Yeah, but that's Give us a little.
Addie
Bit of I'm the problem.
Brooks
Cause I'm the problem.
Addie
Yeah.
Jack
Oh, yeah.
Brooks
That's all I got.
Addie
So you just said. You just said the title.
Brooks
Said I'd never change. Oh, something diamond.
Addie
Just to go around town.
Brooks
Yeah, I see. The thing about me is, like, I'm just listening to the instrumental, really. Like, I'm just. I'm hearing the sound.
Mitch
I want a YouTuber.
Jack
You're hearing music, but you're not listening to it?
Brooks
I don't know. I think I'm a producer at heart. Maybe for sure.
Mitch
So.
Jack
But yeah, maybe for sure. Yeah.
Addie
All right. What are your. What?
Garrett
What?
Addie
What are your. What are you. What do you. What are you? A top artist?
Brooks
I already said him.
Jack
Yeah.
Brooks
You gotta listen.
Addie
What was your songs?
Garrett
What's your minutes?
Brooks
I don't think.
Addie
How do you do them all that fast?
Brooks
I don't think Apple says them.
JP
Oh, right, you're on Apple Music. What's it called? Apple Replay.
Brooks
Shut up. Little baby at five.
JP
It is called Apple Replay.
Brooks
Yeah, it is.
JP
So shut your ass up.
Brooks
I said, well, baby at 5, future at 4, gun at 3, Morgan at 2, Drake at 1.
Jack
I think your listening age. If you were to have Spotify, I'd be like 18.
Brooks
Yeah, but I'm. I'm more of a SoundCloud guy anyway, so.
JP
Shut up.
Brooks
I'm serious. Yes, I am.
JP
When was the last time you saved a song on SoundCloud?
Brooks
All I did.
JP
Let's keep it moving, though. I actually do have a question for everyone who is an artist or what? Like, do you think your rap made a mistake on. Because I feel like everyone feels a type of way about. There's like, no, this ain't who represents me. This isn't me.
Jack
It was so funny when Brooke and I first started talking. We went. Our first date was when Spotify rap first came out two years ago and it was only fan by Bazzy and Cordae. Like, this is the softest song for me. Like, yeah, I hate this. But this year, I think I was surprised Rainbow Kitten Surprise wasn't on there. Like, G put me onto them.

I just want to remind everyone how good Rasheed Rice was last season. In these three healthy games, he was the wide receiver. Two in fantasy I think Rasheed Rice just goes off this week.
Addie
The Chiefs come on a flip pass to Rice near side touchdown.
JP
Ramandre Stevens is my sleeper this week. This is a matchup where I think I can slide in Stevenson in my flex position and he could deliver double digit points this week.
Brooks
Drake takes the snap hands it off for Madre.
JP
Running it right and running into the end zone.
Addie
Touchdown.

Jack
And I love all of their music. And I've started like. I put some of my other buddies on it. I thought that would have been higher. I was kind of happy to see Linkin park on there, though.
But I feel like it was kind of.
Addie
Yeah, I thought.
I was surprised that, like, Chris Stapleton wasn't in mine. I feel like I listened to him a lot, especially because he's an artist that I'll start like a radio on Spotify under Chris Stapleton. So I would. I'm shocked that that wasn't in there.
The palace. The Bam palace is in there. I'm not. It's not that I'm shocked they're in there. I think I just hammered them for a very short amount of time that I'm shocked that it, you know, jumped some of these people I listened to over a longer amount of time.
And this is unfortunately, like the first year in a very long time. Kings of Leon has not been in mine. So that was a tough one.
JP
Rip.
Addie
That was a toughly.
JP
Nathan's not listening.
Addie
No, they just put out a couple new songs that are fire. So go check those out. Yeah, it was.
Jack
I was funny. I was telling everybody specifically the Wolf, like, it gave you, like, your files. Did you guys see that my biggest mic day was Valentine's Day, which is hilarious. And I have no idea.
Addie
She want to look at my pastries.
Jack
Someone make his time go. But I have no idea why.
Addie
Wait, hold on.
Jack
You.
Addie
Jack, you mentioned it earlier.
The, like the classificate or what is it like, your. Your group that you got in?
Jack
Oh, I got club.
Addie
What was yours in the artist. I'm in the cloud state society too.
Mitch
We up. I'm surprised I didn't get Cali Conscience or Sense of Motion because I went on a pretty heavy, like, California type of music. I don't even know Binge Bender. And I listened to their songs a bunch. I was really surprised. Not.
Addie
Also I gotta listen to those.
Mitch
It's like kind of hearing.
Jack
Okay, let's go artists. It makes me realize how, like, how much of a hole of just music that I'm like a pocket of music I'm in because I've never heard of any of those artists.
Mitch
Yeah.
Jack
Like, I've never heard of palace whatever. Like I've heard of Zed. Zed's dad, Grateful Dead, Dead and Co. But I've never really listened to them, so.
Garrett
Definitely heard of Drake, Kanye West.
Addie
Oh, man. One of our friends put on his story today. I won't say his name. Matthew Robin. His top artist was Lana Del Rey.
JP
Dude, for the fifth year in a row, he's the biggest white male performer of all time. If you go look at his list, it's like, I carry a small enough book that can fit in the back of my jeans, wear wired headphones and very expensive clothing.
Brooks
Is he like Matcha?
JP
I hope he is not listening to this, because I love you to death, but lot of five years in a row, I feel like he's got.
Addie
I know one song I've been on Mike from, like, high school. That was it.
JP
And I love Lana Del. Right.
Mitch
But Mike puts out, like, a bunch of new music. Lana. I mean, maybe she had a new album come out in the last couple years.
Addie
She. She did. She did.
Mitch
But she's great. But she. But she. She's not. She's not the waiver.
Brooks
That Great Gatsby song.
Jack
Quinn and Mike have been.
Addie
That's that.
Brooks
Yeah.
Addie
Even before. That's what I'm thinking of the time.
JP
That's.
Addie
That's the banger.
Garrett
Banger.
JP
Any. Any discrepancies in your wrapped Tory Lanes?
Garrett
I feel like it nailed me down pretty good.
Jack
I was surprised Travis Scott wasn't in there for you because he was there last year.
Garrett
No, never mind. They didn't. I'm surprised, too. I would say Toryland, just because I listened to one album, I could have had, like, Travis Scott in there.
Addie
I would like to know how they.
Calculate their data, because, yeah, if I'm listening to somebody hard for, like, a month, how does that jump someone that I listen to, like, for a full year?
Jack
A lot, apparently. There's. So my buddy Ryan has an app that, like, he got the.
Addie
The recap of the app Spotify.
Jack
Like, it kind of, like, keeps your data as you're going. Like, it connects to it. That way you can kind of see what your rap is.
JP
You're, like, tweaking it just so you have a perfect. I guess so, like, nah, this is all God.
Jack
But then I don't know. I don't know what exactly he keeps track of, but he said, like, he has it, but I'm like, I don't want it, because I don't.
JP
I get that.
Addie
That's an app that you don't need on your phone.
Jack
Yeah, for sure.
JP
For sure, it's one day, but I will. I don't know if y' all saw this. Spotify made an update in their policy where you can. So you can pay for the premium, which I think is like $12.99. You can do a $24.99 premium where you can customize your wrapped. You can choose who your top five.
Addie
Are, which is whack.
JP
So lame.
Brooks
That's like playing. Paying for the. All right, Apple.
Jack
That's an extra $60.
Brooks
It's like paying for the blue check.
JP
So that people think that you like cool music.
Jack
You think?
JP
But in your. No, I think that's all God given, unfortunately.
Mitch
Dude, listen. So I'm just looking at some of the other charts, and this is under the best interviews of 2025. The Taylor Swift episode that had 3 million plays. When Louis Tomlinson, the guy from One Direction, went on diary of a CEO, it had over 7 million plays.
Jack
Damn.
Mitch
Louie Tomlinson got more emotion than Taylor Swift.
Jack
Oh, did they date? At one point.
She dated Harry.
Mitch
She did an album about Harry.
Addie
The guy from Dunkirk.
Brooks
The guy from Dunkirk, Yeah.
Jack
Jack was saying it earlier. We are back in. Busting with the boys is back in the top 10 sports podcast, which is sick. At number 10 for the end of the year.
Mitch
Over for the this week.
Brooks
I don't know.
JP
It was front office sports reported on it, but I think it was just. It was just an update that I saw today. Anything I can see with the top 10, I'm taking it.
Jack
There were two in there that we were like, those are sports podcasts. Like Meat Eater. Like, I get. It's like outdoor. Like, I guess you could say gaming, like, but I didn't. I wouldn't necessarily classify that as a sports podcast. That's like outdoorsy. And then there was like two shots after dark or something.
Garrett
Wasn't there a couple, like, fantasy football ones in there, too?
Brooks
Yeah, it was number one.
Jack
Was it pmt?
Brooks
Oh, I thought it was.
Addie
No, it's New Heights.
Garrett
Yeah, I thought it was New Heights.
Jack
Are they. Oh, yeah, it's New Heights and then.
Addie
Don'T matter.
Garrett
We coming them.
Jack
It's like the guy with just his name. Like, not Ryan.
Addie
Colin Cower.
Jack
No, I want to say Sam, but that's not it. Anyways, doesn't matter.
Garrett
We're coming.
Addie
Not memorable.
Jack
Shout out to us for being top 10.
Garrett
Yeah. Top 10 inside the bus. Top 10 next year.
Addie
I saw inside the bus made top 50 comedy pilots.
Mitch
Yeah.
Jack
Are we comedy or were we lifestyle?
JP
We're all of it.
Addie
What are We.
Oh, man, we're crushing.
Mitch
Was that it? Was that all we had?
Brooks
What about.
Garrett
What about who Matt thought shouldn't get in his wrapped. We do that.
Addie
Wait, what?
Mitch
Who should have been in your.
Garrett
Yeah. Who should have been in? Who should have been out?
Brooks
I think everybody. Mel P. I listen to all my house music via SoundCloud so that I think I listen to a lot of Chris Stussy. If y' all know that as.
Garrett
Nope.
Jack
I'm surprised Broke Boys wasn't in there.
Brooks
I'm not a huge disco lines guy.
Jack
You love that song.
Brooks
I like it, but I don't know.
Jack
You love that song.
Brooks
All right.
Jack
I don't.
Brooks
I like it. I'm not playing it every second.
Addie
Is it?
JP
No.
Addie
Broke one.
Brooks
Everybody says I look like disco lines and I hate it. Now Loki because he's kind of chopped.
JP
That was my biggest gripe of mine is I don't know how disco lines got to my second artist. But you do look like him. 100.
Addie
He should have never shaved the stuff.
JP
I wouldn't say he's chopped by any means. He seems like he does very well.
Brooks
For himself for some stories.
Mitch
Oh, my gosh.
Addie
You know, Matt's connected all these girls late night.
Mitch
Like, y' all know Drake, man. Yeah, I heard some stories about him.
Brooks
No, it's not even. I mean, it's. It's women, like, it's dudes. Dudes say that to me.
Addie
I'm like, that you look like him.
Brooks
Yeah. Like this dude. The gym X like a couple weeks ago, like where I was changing, he just goes disco line allegations. I was like.
Addie
I was like, yeah, the Indiana boy.
Brooks
Not the. Not the Indiana boy.
Garrett
No.
JP
That's a hilarious way to tell someone.
Addie
That they look like.
Brooks
He did.
JP
Yeah.
Brooks
He didn't even like. He wasn't full sentence. He just got any like, didn't look at me. He's like disco line allegations. And I was like, yeah. And he's like thought so.
JP
That's.
Like you've ever been told you look like disco line. I'd be more upset about.
Brooks
Yeah. It was like. Yeah. He kind of said it kind of funny.
Mitch
He looks about.
JP
He looks like Matt if Matt wore his hair.
Brooks
That's literally what I was about to say. Jp that's so carbon.
JP
Yeah.
Mitch
Just not understanding just how to have a normal conversation.
JP
Yeah.
Jack
Let me see.
Mitch
Because you were naked or.
Brooks
No, I was not naked. I never get fully naked. I never.
Addie
Matt's a never knee Matt. Sweet. You know, Matt's on the Winnie the Pooh sleep.
That does not look like Matt.
Brooks
That's what I'm saying.
Mitch
I know from here, I could see it.
Jack
Let me see.
JP
The guy looks really good.
Mitch
At the chop version of disco line.
JP
I mean, you look. You pick a photo with him wearing a hat and sunglasses.
Mitch
You would love being called that guy.
Garrett
No, he has the same.
Addie
I'll defend you here.
Brooks
His eyes are super wide.
Mitch
He's a good dude.
Brooks
His eyes are too.
JP
I'm not calling you twins.
Brooks
People say I look identical.
Addie
This. This looks like Matt.
Jack
That's just cuz.
Brooks
Best pashmina on go mode. Okay, I shouldn't have said that. I got to hang out with Jack and G this weekend.
Mitch
For real?
JP
Yeah.
We were watching the Tennessee Vanny.
Addie
Game, and if you came over, bummer.
JP
But, yeah, I hit Matt up just kind of very last second.
Brooks
Dude, he hit me with the wid.
Mitch
What were you doing at the time you received the text?
Brooks
I was at. I was driving to my buddy's house, actually.
Mitch
What were you doing?
Brooks
What do you.
Garrett
Wait.
JP
Yeah, that's what he said to me. And I was like, all right, well, watching the game.
Mitch
I have your location.
JP
He was over in, like, 30, though.
Brooks
Yeah. I went to my buddy's house.
Mitch
I was like, hey, so you bailed on your buddy.
JP
Got the call, low key.
Brooks
I said, boss man wants to hang out. I was like, I want to go hang out with boss man.
JP
That held it down.
Addie
He.
JP
Matt was a great patron. Caused no issues. Besides not filming the. The bus in broadcast clip, I had to go do that. But, yeah, it was a good time.
Mitch
I earned another invite.
Jack
Yeah, I know exactly what he thought. Like, if. When you're bought, like, not your boss. Well, technically your boss, but, like, when your work guys text you to hang out. Because back when we first start. When I first started, I remember it was either you. One of you two, like, hit me up, like, hey, we're going out. Like, if you want to come over. And I was supposed to be.
Addie
Well, we live together, so.
Jack
Yeah. So one of you hit me up. I don't know who it was, but I was like, hanging out with Schles. I'm like, hey, the work guys just hit me up. Like, I really want to go. I really want to fit in. Like, you mind if I go?
Brooks
Yeah, bro.
Jack
Go do your thing. 100. So I went like that, I think. And you were like, that's the first time we've ever done this. Really?
Mitch
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Addie
First and last.
Jack
Yeah. And I was like, was it the Super Bowl? No, it was just some random. I think it was when Dobbs was in town. Josh Dobbs. And we went to Broadway, and they were at, like, a. He had like a. A section or whatever, and y' all had a section. Me. You g. I think.
But it. I was like, I know exactly what you're talking about, because I did the same thing.
Brooks
It was a vibe. Blackout Wednesday was a vibe, too.
Addie
It was fun. When I walked into Jackson, Matt was there.
Mitch
I just was like, Jared went to. Right?
JP
No, no, Jared, I think, was talking about, like, two or three times ago.
Addie
For a UFC fight.
Brooks
It was a vibe.
JP
Yeah.
Brooks
They got a good friend group. They have a funny friend group.
JP
Yeah. I was chopping it up.
Addie
He had a good sesh with our only father, Ryan, for in.
Mitch
Yeah.
Addie
Shout Out Ross.
Brooks
He was hilarious, bro. And broad.
Addie
Like, there was a lot of stuff, man.
JP
You understand? Broads is Spotify wrapped if you were there on Saturday, 200%.
Garrett
And that's.
Brooks
We're gonna keep it at that.
JP
Yeah, Yeah.
Mitch
I understood from Camp McCracken.
JP
Yeah.
Addie
Yeah.
JP
It's not hard. You just need five minutes with the guy.
Jack
Yeah, he like the friends giving last year when he was just hitting the dad jokes, it was like, he never stops.
JP
He texted me earlier, and he was like, hey, man, did you buy Chance put a package in your house from mine? I was like, nah. And he was like, damn it. I was like, what's it get stolen? He goes, $150 of, like, this, like, very expensive kind of mushroom that, like, you get for, like, health truffle.
Jack
Yeah.
JP
And he was like, gone. And I was like, I mean, call that the cider?
Mitch
Yeah.
Addie
You ain't lying.
Jack
How long we've been going.
Brooks
53. When is the acceptable age to end? Blackout Wednesday. That's what I wanted to end on.
JP
I think you're at a perfect spot.
Brooks
You think?
JP
But, I mean, I just don't. I don't know.
Mitch
I mean, I feel like at home, it would be like, 25.
JP
Yeah, you're good. You might have another year in you. I think I'm out of retirement.
Jack
I think I did it at 26. She was like. She threw up the next day. Because you're so hungover this year.
JP
I think I did it 28, so. Hey.
Mitch
She did.
JP
Yeah.
Jack
She's like, I don't know why I got so drunk. I had, like, two shots and two drinks.
Mitch
I'm like, was she sending you some messages? Some drunk messages, Mitch, I missed you.
Garrett
Yeah.
Jack
She FaceTimed me, like, three times. She's like, I love you. I'm like, love you. Too, babe. Damn. Have fun.
Brooks
Sorry, man, I didn't get that.
Mitch
What happened on your blackout Wednesday? Did you get it? Did you spark any old high school flames?
Brooks
I. I hang out with only Brentwood kids, which is funny. I was with only Brentwood people. No high school fun. I didn't really date anybody in high school.
JP
That also told me some kid was like, yo, dude, I was just smoking a blunt with Jack.
Brooks
Yeah, that wasn't that blackout. That was not blackout Wednesday.
JP
This was on Saturday.
Addie
That was a capper.
JP
Still. Did we figure out who that guy is?
Garrett
I forgot.
Addie
I think I remember the name you said, but I don't want to out the kid.
Jack
Did you go? Did you go?
JP
But that. I couldn't be like out like midtown with underage.
Brooks
I went to smoke today. I went to a house party and then we went to Perfectly Fine and.
Mitch
It was right in the neighborhood.
Brooks
I was right. I could have text you, but I knew you did.
Addie
Right. I'm always curious that bars kind of mid.
Brooks
Yeah, yeah. Super overpriced.
Mitch
But it sucks because the vibe is really cool. But it's super over.
Brooks
It's insanely expensive for no reason.
Jack
Yeah, but like when you guys turn 21, like would you just go out to Broad when you. When you came home from college or like what had like what. How does it work for you guys? Like because you're from Nashville or like neighborhood.
Brooks
That's what I'm saying. That's not. It's not like a thing. Because we all grew up.
Addie
No, because we would go to. What was the pool bar we would go to by Vandy.
JP
Oh, oh, just a Sportsman's.
Addie
I think that's what it was called. Yeah. We would just go do random like that.
JP
We went. You could just get it.
Brooks
I would go to that Brentwood. What was it? Corner? No.
Oh, Brewhouse. The breath. The Brew house in like Franklin. Brentwood Mall.
JP
Yeah.
Addie
South. Yeah.
Brooks
We didn't go this year for the first time and there was some chaos caused the last five years. I'm gonna. I've matured.
Jack
But usually I hear Fighting Cats on the day of giving, Day of thanks.
JP
What Day of thanks and giving.
Brooks
Oh, Fighting Cats on the day of thanks.
Addie
Sounds like a band.
Jack
Yeah.
Addie
It's like Fighting Cats in the day.
Jack
I said that. I said that ridiculously.
Brooks
I was like, that's a tongue twister.
Addie
We do. We do need to get the squad together. Cuz Saturday. That was. That was fun.
JP
Yeah. It wasn't like a Thanksgiving weekend. Obviously. Everybody that last. I knew a lot of people Were.
Addie
Out of town gang together.
Jack
If. If y' all weren't going this weekend, it would be a perfect weekend too.
JP
It really would be great. And no one has anything besides G and you obviously. But like for the SC championship lives don't have anything on the lines. You can kind of have a little stress free football which is pretty nice. Or depressing.
Brooks
It was depressed. That was. That was such a good night. But like that was depressing too.
JP
Yeah.
Well, that's all we got this week. Thanks for tuning in to the Chris Johnson episode episode 28. Next week we have the 29 episode.
Jack
JP Hovey episode JP Heavy.
Mitch
My second to last episode as a 29 year old and my second last.
JP
Episode wearing a tank top.
Mitch
True is.
Jack
Oh no. We have two more weeks because we got it. We got to figure out what we're gonna do for Christmas and New Year's.
JP
Maybe we can do a. We could do like a. What's it called?
Brooks
Dirty Santa.
JP
Dirty Santa on. On stream. If you wanted to wear the one where you can like steal and stuff. I don't know if that would make that Pollyanna. Huh?
Jack
I call it. We call it Pollyanna. It's the same thing.
JP
Yeah, I'm sure it is.
Brooks
Always a different name.
JP
Put it in there. You. You can take it and then you can steal it and like we got. Yeah, we do something like that. I like that Pollyanna. Never heard of that.
Jack
Yeah, that's what.
Mitch
That's what the magos Matt goes. I hate the northeast, man.
Brooks
Y' all always got something different. Like it's the most like basic thing and it's like, oh, we got didgeridoo. I'm like that.
Jack
Didgeridoo.
Brooks
Yeah.
Jack
Grow up.
JP
Thank you again for tuning in. Subscribe like comment anything you' that we can discuss next week. Also, don't forget to comment if Mitch's suspension justice for was justified.
Jack
Please.
Addie
That will be in free Tory Lanes.
Jack
It already happened. So you already watched it.
JP
See you guys next week.

Episode: Thanksgiving Recap + Our Spotify Wrapped | Inside The Bus
Date: December 5, 2025
Hosts: Will Compton & Taylor Lewan (with crew: Jack, JP, Addie, Mitch, Brooks, Garrett)
This episode delivers a lively post-Thanksgiving debrief as the Bussin’ With The Boys crew gathers for episode 28 ("The CJ2K Episode"). They trade stories from their various Thanksgiving celebrations, share food highlights, recap friend-family traditions, and then transition into a full breakdown of each member's Spotify (and Apple Music) Wrapped for 2025, sparking playful banter and revealing musical tastes (and surprises). The episode captures the boys’ camaraderie, roasts, and authentic reflections as the year winds down.

[53:12 – 54:14]
[60:31 – 63:19]

The episode’s tone is irreverent, friendly, and fast-paced with the authentic banter of close friends. Roasting and storytelling are abundant (“That’s toxic!” “Are you really the top 2% of Future listeners?”), and the talk constantly circles between sports, music, and group antics.
For listeners craving post-holiday laughs, a peek at friend/family chaos, and some unexpectedly honest music confessions, this episode delivers.
